We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
It's Your Turn.
You've landed on the best square on the board. At Hasbro, we've been making the games that end up on family tables, dorm room floors, and game night wish lists for over 100 years. Monopoly. Scrabble. Clue. Risk. Battleship. Connect 4. Trivial Pursuit. Candy Land. Avalon Hill. You probably played them growing up. Now imagine being the lawyer who helps protect, grow, and shape them.
We're looking for an Attorney to join our Global Games Legal Team supporting Hasbro Games. If you've got great legal instincts, a collaborative spirit, a sense of humor, and a genuine love for the way games bring people together, read on!
As part of our legal team, you'll be a trusted advisor to the people building the next generation of Hasbro's most iconic game brands. That means working across product development, licensing, marketing, emerging tech, entertainment and AI - all in service of games that millions of people around the world know and love. You'll work fast, think on your feet, and never be bored.
This role is hybrid out of our new Boston, MA headquarters (onsite Tuesday–Thursday). Until we open that location, you'll work out of our Pawtucket, RI HQ or our temporary Boston space.
What You’ll Do As An Attorney:
Be the go-to legal advisor for the Hasbro Games business - counseling partners on IP, licensing, advertising, promotions, privacy, regulatory compliance, AI, and emerging tech.
Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements: IP licenses, game concept submissions, talent and consulting deals, tech and AI agreements, marketing and promotion contracts, and NDAs.
Navigate the fast-moving world of AI tools, digital platforms, and data-enabled products — from IP ownership questions to responsible AI adoption and translate the complexity into clear, practical guidance for business teams.
Guide game and product development, packaging, and campaigns across TV, print, digital, and social including sweepstakes, contests, and consumer promotions.
Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to anticipate issues, manage risk, and make great ideas happen without getting stuck in Go Directly to Jail territory.
Support licensing deals that extend beloved Hasbro game brands into new worlds - digital experiences, mobile games, live events, collaborations, and beyond.
What You’ll Bring:
J.D. from an accredited law school, active bar membership in good standing, and 4 - 8 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house - bonus points if that experience touches games, toys, consumer products, or entertainment.
Strong chops drafting and negotiating IP, commercial, and technology agreements.
Real experience with AI-enabled tools and advising on AI and emerging tech including risk and clear communication to non-legal partners.
Solid grounding in copyright, trademark, and rights of publicity; working knowledge of digital, data, and privacy law.
Excellent judgment, clear communication, and creative problem-solving - the kind that finds the “yes and” rather than just the "no."
The ability to manage a full docket in a fast-moving environment - juggling multiple games at once, so to speak.
Patent licensing experience: nice to have. An actual love of games? That'll take you far.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an engineer to drive the evolution of OrioleDB https://www.orioledb.com and its collaboration with the upstream PostgreSQL community. OrioleDB is a next-generation storage engine for PostgreSQL, and this role sits at the intersection of database internals, open source community work, and Supabase's managed Postgres platform.
This role requires strong working overlap with Americas time zones due to production support and on-call responsibilities.
What you'll work on
- New OrioleDB features. Design and implement new capabilities in OrioleDB — for example, native index access methods (GiST, GIN, HNSW for pgvector), disaster recovery tooling, and other storage-engine-level features that expand what OrioleDB can do.
- Stability. Strengthen OrioleDB's reliability through deeper test coverage, fault injection, crash and recovery testing, and improvements to CI infrastructure. Ensure regressions are caught early and that OrioleDB behaves predictably under stress, replication, and failure scenarios.
- Upstream collaboration. Contribute changes directly to PostgreSQL core. Part of OrioleDB lives as a patch on top of PostgreSQL — moving the right pieces upstream shrinks what we maintain ourselves and benefits the wider community. This happens through PostgreSQL's open development process: the pgsql-hackers mailing list, public code review, and commitfests.
- Supabase integration. Work with Supabase's Postgres team to ensure OrioleDB fits naturally into Supabase's managed offering and roadmap.
YOU WILL:
- Design, implement, and test new OrioleDB features and integrate them cleanly with PostgreSQL's planner, executor, and surrounding subsystems.
- Build out and maintain test infrastructure: regression suites, fuzzing, randomized testing, crash and recovery testing, and CI pipelines.
- Identify and prepare patches suitable for upstreaming to PostgreSQL core.
- Improve performance, resilience, monitoring, and operational tooling for production use.
- Debug and resolve complex issues in low-level C code, including in storage, replication, indexing, and query execution paths.
- Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews — both inside Supabase and in the PostgreSQL community.
- Write clear technical documentation, design notes, and upstream proposals.
- Contribute to troubleshooting, analyzing, supporting and maintaining OrioleDB in production deployments. This can include answering support ticket requests, an on-call rotation, and supporting our team members in troubleshooting and fixing live customer production databases.
YOU ARE:
- An existing PostgreSQL core contributor or have equivalent experience in Database internals.
- An expert C programmer with 8+ years of production experience with focus on low-level systems programming
- Deeply familiar with PostgreSQL’s codebase, build system, and extension APIs.
- Have experience designing or implementing database storage engines, index structures, or query execution components.
- Comfortable contributing to community‑driven, upstream open source projects.
- Proficient in debugging and profiling complex C code in a database context.
- Able to write clear technical documentation and explain design trade‑offs.
- A strong communicator, committed to an open and collaborative development process.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

Break down the key responsibilities in bullet points. It’s helpful to make them actionable and measurable. This could also be grouped into categories for more complex roles.
Apply low-bit quantization to reduce model size and inference latency for generative AI models (LLMs, VLMs, multimodal) while maintaining accuracy and output quality.
Leverage knowledge distillation to transfer capabilities from larger teacher models to smaller student models, enabling efficient multimodal reasoning across text, image, and audio inputs.
Implement pruning techniques to remove redundant parameters and attention heads, reducing computational overhead without sacrificing task performance.
Analyze trade-offs between model efficiency (size, latency, memory) and accuracy across quantization, distillation, and pruning methods; propose improvements based on empirical findings.
Research and apply mixed-precision quantization and other advanced compression strategies (e.g., adaptive pruning schedules, distillation with intermediate feature matching) to optimize the accuracy–performance balance.
Stay current with the latest research in model compression, including emerging techniques for multimodal and generative architectures.
Document methodologies, experiments, and results clearly to support reproducibility, internal collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
Author technical papers and publish findings in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, AAAI) to advance the field of model compression for multimodal AI.
A degree in Computer Science or related field. Ideally PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field, complemented by a solid track record in AI R&D (with good publications in A* conferences).
Experience with PyTorch deep learning frameworks or equivalent frameworks
Hands-on experience with model quantization including both Quantization-Aware Training (QAT) and Post-Training Quantization (PTQ).
Research and hands-on experience with knowledge distillation for compressing large models into smaller, efficient ones.
Research and hands-on experience with model pruning for compressing large models into smaller, efficient ones.
Solid understanding of neural network architectures and training processes – Including transformers (e.g., LLMs, VLMs), backpropagation, optimization, and fine-tuning techniques.
Familiarity with C++ is a plus (especially for implementing low-level quantization kernels or inference optimizations).
