Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer in San Diego, you will build the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) CI/CD system that makes this routine. A firmware change, a control-stack update, or a new locomotion policy runs on physical hardware within minutes of a push. Simulation catches most regressions. Your system catches the ones that only appear when metal moves. Every pull request, validated on real HMND hardware, automatically, before it merges.
We have bench rigs, partial automation, and a strong simulation pipeline. You will harden what exists and build the next generation. You will also be the first dedicated test engineer in San Diego, and you will run HIL development as a shared effort across our offices so progress continues while one site is offline.
This is the long-term vision for HIL testing at Humanoid. You will be part of the global Integration & Test team that will set the technical direction and build the foundations. AI tools are central to how we build it. We expect you to use them heavily, from writing test platforms that can be used by all engineers to triaging failures and analyzing logs. We want someone excited to rethink how test infrastructure gets built.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build PR-triggered pipelines that schedule, run, and report hardware tests: orchestration, device allocation, firmware flashing, power and reset control, data capture, and teardown.
- Define what "tested on hardware" means. Build and grow regression infrastructure across motion control, locomotion, manipulation, perception, safety, and power, and enabling each new robot capability to be developed with automated coverage as it ships.
- Design and run the HIL test farm, from single-actuator benches to full-robot test cells, operating safely and unattended with high uptime.
- Build a hardware test signal engineers trust: per-PR reports, dashboards, and alerts, plus correlation of simulation and hardware results to surface sim-to-real gaps.
- Work with embedded, controls, ML, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to make testability a design requirement, and align with the Integration & Testing team in London on shared strategy and tooling.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in test automation, CI/CD, or test and integration engineering for hardware products such as robotics, automotive, aerospace, or drones.
- Experience building or scaling HIL or hardware-in-CI systems: rig design, test orchestration, device farms, or automated hardware regression.
- Strong Python and/or C++, and fluency with CI/CD tooling (like GitHub Actions), including self-hosted runners on physical hardware.
- Comfort at the hardware/software boundary: reading schematics, wiring a bench, debugging over CAN, EtherCAT, or serial, and scripting power supplies, DAQs, and instruments.
- Experience with Nvidia based embedded targets and firmware flashing workflows and bootloader recovery via JTAG.
- Experience with Linux based CLI systems.
- A practical approach to flaky tests and to keeping a hardware test signal trustworthy.
- Root cause analysis skills: telling a bad part from a bad assembly or a bad design.
Nice to have
- ROS/ROS 2, real-time control, actuator or motor testing, force-torque sensing, or locomotion and manipulation test design.
- Validating learned or RL policies on hardware, or sim-to-real work in Isaac Sim/Lab, MuJoCo, or Gazebo.
- NVIDIA or similar edge-compute deployment.
- Safety engineering exposure: functional safety, e-stop chains, ISO 10218 or ISO 13482.
- Test fixture design, or working with technicians and machine shops to build fixtures.
- Grafana, Prometheus, or custom telemetry pipelines for large test-log volumes.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Every policy that walks and every gripper that closes on a customer's production line will have passed through the infrastructure you build. Few roles connect your work to robots operating safely in the real world this directly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Comprehensive health coverage for US‑based employees, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with virtual care and employee assistance resources.
- Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of PTO (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid company holidays.
- 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match.
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in‑office.
- Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.
- Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.
For this role in California, the expected base salary range is $128K–$160K USD per year; your placement in that range depends on how your experience maps to our internal leveling.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is hiring a People Business Partner to support managers and employees across Marketing, Finance, Legal, People, Talent, Workplace, and Executive Assistants. Reporting to the Lead People Business Partner for Business & G&A, you’ll be the primary People Business contact for these teams. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: one day you may coach an employee through a difficult conversation, and the next you may partner with a C-suite executive on a major reorganization. No task is too big or too small. You’ll build a sustainable network across employees, managers, and leaders so you deeply understand each team’s work, talent, and business goals. You’ll independently own the People Business agenda for this portfolio, including its most senior leaders: set priorities with them, shape consequential talent and organizational changes, and drive the work through implementation and results.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the People Business agenda for your portfolio. Build trusted relationships across employees, managers, and senior leaders; understand each team’s business goals, talent, and challenges; and set priorities that deliver results.
- Improve how managers manage. Coach managers through performance, feedback, development, retention, and difficult talent decisions. Help employees prepare for difficult conversations, and partner with senior leaders to strengthen management across their teams.
- Drive talent and organizational changes. Use firsthand context and people data to diagnose needs, align leaders on trade-offs, and lead work such as team redesign, leadership development or hiring, and new performance approaches through implementation and measurable results.
- Own sensitive people matters. Manage intake, communication, and follow-through for employee relations, leave, accommodations, investigations, and other cases, partnering with People Operations, Legal, Immigration, and other specialists.
- Lead performance, engagement, and compensation work. Guide teams through twice-yearly reviews and engagement cycles, including manager preparation, calibration, and follow-up. Advise leaders on cash and equity rewards through partnerships with the Compensation team.
- Make the wider People Business team more effective. Identify recurring gaps, build reusable processes, guidance, or tools, drive adoption, and measure improvements in quality, consistency, or capacity.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A strong record of improving how managers manage, including direct coaching on performance, development, retention, and difficult talent decisions. Relevant experience may come from People Business Partner work, consulting, leadership development, or substantial management experience.
- Sound talent judgment and independent ownership. You can earn senior-leader trust, set priorities across a broad portfolio, and drive consequential people and organizational changes through implementation with limited direction.
- Good judgment in sensitive situations. You act decisively with incomplete information, communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality and documentation, and know when to involve specialists or escalate with a recommendation.
- Strong analytical habits. You use people and business data alongside firsthand context to identify priorities, recommend practical action, and assess results.
- A hands-on IC mindset. You enjoy detailed casework and direct employee and manager coaching alongside senior-leader partnership. If your background is outside HR, you can learn People policies and case processes quickly with coaching.
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior People Business Partner experience, including employee relations, compensation, and recurring performance and engagement cycles.
- Experience in people consulting, performance coaching, or learning and development that includes direct work with managers and measurable talent outcomes.
- Experience creating reusable manager guidance, case templates, or responsible AI and automation workflows that improve a People team’s effectiveness.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
THE CEO OFFICE
The CEO Office works with senior leaders across Checkout.com http://Checkout.com on high-priority strategic and operational problems. The team turns important questions into clear decisions, coordinated execution and measurable business outcomes.
THE ROLE
This is a manager-level individual-contributor role for a hands-on operator. You will own defined, high-priority, cross-functional initiatives end to end—from framing problems and aligning stakeholders to implementing solutions and delivering measurable outcomes.
Working closely with the Head of the CEO Office, you will combine structured problem-solving with hands-on execution. You will translate priorities into coordinated action, strengthen how teams operate and drive initiatives through to impact.
This is neither a traditional PMO nor a presentation-led strategy role, and it is not an executive-level position. Success requires sound judgement, analytical rigour, clear communication, operational follow-through and the ability to influence effectively without formal authority.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT (ROLE OVERVIEW)
- Support the CEO and Head of the CEO Office on critical cross-functional initiatives by helping coordinate day-to-day delivery, stakeholder collaboration and progress towards measurable outcomes.
- Help investigate complex, ambiguous problems by clarifying the problem, developing practical solutions and supporting the implementation of durable processes or systems.
- Support departments in scaling by contributing to organisation design, objectives and KPI setting, and the development of robust operating processes.
- Assist leadership in navigating ambiguity by surfacing insights, decisions and risks, coordinating follow-through and supporting alignment across teams, particularly where there is no natural owner.
- Projects may include organisational model design, international expansion strategy, scaling new business lines, strategic planning and goal setting, go-to-market execution, regulatory, data and financial infrastructure initiatives, and supporting board and shareholder reporting.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (BACKGROUND AND CORE COMPETENCIES)
- Relevant background and impact: Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.Relevant backgrounds include consulting, high-growth technology, investing, investment banking, strategic finance or entrepreneurial operations. Payments or fintech exposure and international experience are advantages.
- Problem-solving and analytical rigour: Use first-principles thinking, data and judgement to structure ambiguous problems, identify key measures and move between strategic questions and operational detail. Advanced SQL or hands-on data analysis is a plus.
- Building and execution: Turn analysis into practical plans, KPIs, processes, tools or systems that create durable value. Experience building low-code/no-code or AI automations that others continue to use is a plus.
- Ownership and impact: Personally own cross-functional work and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Influence and collaboration: Build trust, navigate trade-offs and make progress across functions without formal authority, with a low-ego and collaborative approach.
- Learning agility and entrepreneurial mindset: Learn quickly, respond well to feedback, adapt to changing priorities and show evidence of creating, launching or materially improving something from scratch. Founding or entrepreneurial experience is valued but not required.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Replit enables people to build software with AI. The systems underneath that experience must support safe production changes, measurable reliability, and predictable performance as usage grows.
This Engineering Manager will lead SRE across observability, incident management, load testing, performance engineering, cloud cost and capacity, and rollout infrastructure. You'll lead and grow an existing team that builds and operates production platforms and works hands-on across application and infrastructure boundaries.
This is a software-building leadership role, not simply an incident-management function. You'll help teams ship safely, understand production behavior, and remove performance bottlenecks through concrete engineering improvements. You should be comfortable going deep on a rollout failure or performance investigation while developing technical leaders and sustainable ownership across a distributed team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Observability. Build and operate metrics, logs, traces, and alerting capabilities. Help teams establish meaningful SLOs and use production telemetry to diagnose problems and verify improvements.
- Incident Management. Own incident tooling and practices, coordinate cross-team response, and turn incident reviews into engineering improvements that reduce recovery time and repeat failures.
- Load Testing. Build and maintain load/failure testing capabilities. Validate critical paths under expected demand, quantify headroom, and test recovery and production readiness with service owners.
- Performance Engineering. Lead deep engagements with internal teams on SLOs and end-to-end performance. Use profiling, telemetry, and load tests to identify bottlenecks and deliver improvements with service owners—not just recommendations.
- Stay technically engaged. Review designs and production changes, debug difficult failure modes, and use AI coding tools—including Replit—to prototype and automate. Apply rigorous review and verification to AI-generated changes.
- Build and grow a high-ownership engineering team. Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, manage performance, and hire against agreed needs. Make distributed collaboration, mentoring, and backup coverage deliberate rather than relying on a few permanent escalation points.
- Measure outcomes and close the loop. Track rollout safety, recovery time, repeat incidents, critical-path latency/throughput, test coverage, and improvements arising from cost/capacity analysis. Agree success measures and continuing ownership with partner teams.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Demonstrated engineering management. You have led and developed engineers, made prioritization and performance decisions, hired thoughtfully, and delivered through a team—not only acted as its strongest individual contributor.
- Software-oriented production systems depth. You have built and operated distributed systems or reliability platforms and can reason across deployment behavior, Kubernetes, telemetry, service dependencies, and recovery mechanisms.
- Safe-change and performance judgment. You have led consequential migrations or incidents and used measurement to diagnose reliability or performance problems. You can distinguish symptoms from causes and validate fixes under realistic conditions.
- Platform-product and cross-team judgment. You can build capabilities other teams adopt, lead hands-on engagements without absorbing every service's operations, and make clear tradeoffs among reliability, performance, engineering effort, and cost.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with GitOps or progressive-delivery platforms such as Harness, ArgoCD, or Kargo.
- Experience with observability, profiling, load-testing, and failure-testing systems, including OpenTelemetry or comparable tooling.
- Experience with cloud cost attribution, capacity planning, and provider coordination, particularly on GCP.
- Experience growing distributed teams and using AI tools to increase engineering output while preserving production safeguards.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
Our Strategic & Leadership Hiring team leads Director, Senior Director, VP and C-suite hiring across functions and global locations. We’re looking for an experienced, research-led recruiter to deliver the market insight, candidate engagement and initial assessment behind these business-critical searches. You’ll own research, sourcing and screening for assigned roles, turning complex briefs into thorough talent maps and credible shortlists. This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership, work closely with senior stakeholders and help shape Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s leadership teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Turn role briefs into focused search plans. Build thorough company and talent maps, understanding organisational structures, role scope and transferable experience to identify strong candidates beyond the obvious talent pools.
- Write tailored outreach that gives senior, passive candidates a compelling reason to engage. Build rapport, communicate the opportunity credibly and sustain interest through thoughtful follow-up.
- Lead substantive screening conversations to explore expertise, achievements, leadership behaviours and motivation. Make evidence-based recommendations, highlighting strengths, gaps and areas for further assessment.
- Keep multiple searches moving. Get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar roles and markets, prioritise effectively and adapt your approach when feedback or results point to a better route.
- Build trusted relationships with candidates and stakeholders through responsive communication, discretion and clear expectations. Share concise search updates, candidate summaries and useful market intelligence.
- Maintain accurate candidate intelligence, market maps and applicant tracking system records. Stay on top of commitments and next steps, and flag search risks early.
- Use research platforms, market intelligence and AI tools to improve search speed and quality, checking accuracy and protecting confidential information.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Recruitment experience with substantial hands-on responsibility for research, sourcing and candidate screening, and a track record of building strong pipelines for senior or specialist roles.
- Thorough market-mapping skills. You can build a clear picture of a talent market, identify relevant organisations and people, and explain the reasoning behind your recommendations.
- Compelling written and verbal communication. You create personalised outreach, engage senior candidates and ask thoughtful, probing questions.
- Sound judgement across functional expertise, interpersonal skills and leadership behaviours. You distinguish demonstrated capability from polished presentation and recognise where more evidence is needed.
- High attention to detail and reliable follow-through. Your candidate notes, research, written updates and records are accurate, organised and handled with discretion.
- Pace, resilience and adaptability. You learn new briefs quickly, balance competing priorities and respond to unanswered outreach, candidate declines and changing requirements with practical alternatives.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach. You take ownership, welcome feedback, share insights and ask for help early when needed.
NICE TO HAVES
- Executive search or search-firm research experience, particularly on confidential leadership appointments.
- Experience sourcing across fintech, payments or technology, and using AI or market-intelligence tools to strengthen research and outreach.
WHY JOIN
You’ll take ownership of meaningful search work, partner with senior decision-makers and build deep knowledge of leadership talent across functions and markets. Your research and judgement will help Checkout.com http://Checkout.com make better-informed leadership hiring decisions.

ABOUT SVIX
Svix is a fast-growing startup building the future of server-to-server communication, starting with webhooks. We build high-quality, scalable, and fast infrastructure trusted by companies like Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, and the Fortune 500.
We have a top 1% product & team, our customers love us, and we are working towards building a generation defining developer infrastructure company. We also wrote the spec for webhooks (Standard Webhooks https://www.standardwebhooks.com) which has since been adopted by Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and many others.
To support our efforts, we have raised $11M from top investors including a16z and Y Combinator, along with founders and CTOs from companies like GitHub, Segment, Lookout, and Fly.io.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Hey, I'm Tom, the founder and CEO of Svix.
I'm looking for someone smart and ambitious that wants to operate like a founder at a company that provides critical infrastructure to fast growing startups and the Fortune 500 (Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, Benchling, Vanta, Drata, and more).
You will work directly with me, engineering and GTM to evolve the product that got us here into one that takes us to $100M ARR and beyond, by establishing our place as the core communication primitive for backends and agents.
This is not some lofty goal, we are actually on track on becoming that. In addition to our ever-growing roster of customers, we also created Standard Webhooks, the spec for webhooks, which has since been adopted by Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, MCP, and many others.
I want you to make a high impact on the business, so your focus would be the product roadmap and strategy, and you’ll be expected to prioritize ruthlessly, ship fast, and help define how our product serves AI agents as first-class users.
You won’t be expected to write lengthy PRDs and we don’t want to have a product-engineering divide. We have product engineers on the team that can make many of the tactical product decisions. It’s therefore your job to focus on the direction and to ensure what we build matches what our customers need.
I enjoy working with exceptional people, so if you're the best or on track to being the best I'd love for us to work together.
If this sounds like what you’re after, come join us in person at our San Francisco office and do the best work of your life, surrounded by others doing the same!
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- We like candidates with varied backgrounds - don't be shy, apply!
- Hackers/OSS devs welcome, even without extensive work history. Checkout our OSS repo on Github https://github.com/svix/svix-webhooks.
- Please include a few words on why you'd like to work at Svix.
- All roles are full-time - no students or part-time.
