Founding Product Manager

Location: San Francisco (On-Site) Workplace: OnSite ABOUT SVIX Svix is a fast-growing startup building the future of server-to-server communication, starting with webhooks. We build high-quality, scalable, and fast infrastructure trusted by companies like Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, and the Fortune 500. We have a top 1% product & team, our customers love us, and we are working towards building a generation defining developer infrastructure company. We also wrote the spec for webhooks (Standard Webhooks https://www.standardwebhooks.com) which has since been adopted by Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and many others. To support our efforts, we have raised $11M from top investors including a16z and Y Combinator, along with founders and CTOs from companies like GitHub, Segment, Lookout, and Fly.io. ABOUT THE ROLE Hey, I'm Tom, the founder and CEO of Svix. I'm looking for someone smart and ambitious that wants to operate like a founder at a company that provides critical infrastructure to fast growing startups and the Fortune 500 (Etsy, TaskRabbit, Brex, Benchling, Vanta, Drata, and more). You will work directly with me, engineering and GTM to evolve the product that got us here into one that takes us to $100M ARR and beyond, by establishing our place as the core communication primitive for backends and agents. This is not some lofty goal, we are actually on track on becoming that. In addition to our ever-growing roster of customers, we also created Standard Webhooks, the spec for webhooks, which has since been adopted by Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, MCP, and many others. I want you to make a high impact on the business, so your focus would be the product roadmap and strategy, and you’ll be expected to prioritize ruthlessly, ship fast, and help define how our product serves AI agents as first-class users. You won’t be expected to write lengthy PRDs and we don’t want to have a product-engineering divide. We have product engineers on the team that can make many of the tactical product decisions. It’s therefore your job to focus on the direction and to ensure what we build matches what our customers need. I enjoy working with exceptional people, so if you're the best or on track to being the best I'd love for us to work together. If this sounds like what you’re after, come join us in person at our San Francisco office and do the best work of your life, surrounded by others doing the same!
