Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
THE OPPORTUNITY
At Synthesia we really care about video generation, especially about human centric avatar video generation. This led us to release models such as EXPRESS-Video https://synthesiaresearch.github.io/express-video/, and soon our latest video model - these are the best avatar video models in the world, and we are committed to continuing and double down our efforts in leading that area. Our goal is to get to human centric video models that can generate arbitrary long videos at high resolution with arbitrary actions and events. That means continuously training large generative video models from scratch with the proprietary data pipelines and compute infrastructure to support it at scale. We are looking for a technical leader who owns the full stack end-to-end, someone who bridges pre-training and post-training, sets long-term direction alongside research leadership, and is personally present at the hardest parts of the work. If building foundation model capability from the ground up at a company genuinely committed to leading the field sounds like the right next challenge, this role was written for you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Synthesia's video generation capability is core to everything we ship. It involves roughly 15 people working daily across pre-training and post-training stages, and the complexity of coordinating across those stages, at the scale of compute and data we now operate, requires a different kind of technical leadership.
We're looking for a Principal Research Engineer (L7) to own the full technical stack for offline video generation. This is a senior individual contributor position with outsized scope and influence. You'll partner directly with research leadership and team leads to define long-term strategy, resolve the hardest cross-cutting technical problems, and raise the bar for how quickly research reaches product.
The person we're looking for has trained large generative models from scratch, not supervised it from a distance, but done it, debugged it, and shipped it. More than that, they're driven by a genuine ambition to push what's possible in video generation, and they care deeply about seeing that work land in product and reach users.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end technical direction for offline video generation, spanning pre-training and post-training, resolving the artificial boundary between those two stages in service of shipping better models faster.
- Partner with research leadership and team leads to define a unified long-term roadmap, broken into achievable objectives, and drive execution against it.
- Identify the most critical technical gaps across the video generation pipeline and jump in to unblock them, whether that means architectural decisions, training stability, post-training alignment, or cross-team coordination.
- Increase the velocity at which research ships to product: accelerate problem-solving, improve research-to-production handoffs, and increase visibility of research output in partnership with PMs.
- Coach and elevate more junior researchers and engineers toward senior technical thinking and execution.
- Help shape team structure and refine processes to enable high-velocity, cohesive execution across research.
You'll thrive in this role if you have
- A proven track record training large-scale video generation models from scratch, across multiple nodes, at the scale of millions of hours of data.
- Deep experience with post-training techniques at scale: RLHF, GRPO, DPO, and the judgment to know when and how to apply them.
- A proven track record data quality and you are not reluctant to question it.
- The ability to think strategically about multi-year research direction and execute hands-on at the frontier of what the team is building.
- Strong cross-functional influence: you shape how teams work together without needing positional authority to do it.
- A leadership style grounded in technical involvement. You lead by example, inspire through craft, and communicate with clarity.
- Genuine hunger to unlock new capabilities and an obsession with shipping. You're not satisfied by research that stays in a notebook. You want it in the hands of users.
Particularly relevant experience
- Having owned a major model generation or capability jump end-to-end, from training runs through to product deployment.
- Working across both pre-training and post-training stages on the same model family, with direct accountability for the outcomes of both.
- Experience operating at scale: large distributed training runs, significant compute budgets, and multi-million hour data pipelines.
- Applying alignment and fine-tuning techniques in a video or multimodal context, not just text.
- Experience with human feedback pipelines applied to generative video or audio.
- Leading or significantly influencing the technical direction of a research team while remaining hands-on.
Dealbreakers
We will not be a good fit if you prefer to lead without staying technically involved, or if clear and direct communication across research and product isn't one of your strengths. This role requires presence at the frontier of the work, not above it. And if shipping doesn't excite you as much as the research itself, this probably isn't the right role.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
Vercel's Enterprise sales team is built on people who are technically fluent, commercially sharp, and deeply curious about the companies they sell into. As a Majors AE covering some of the key EMEA markets, you will own a curated book of named enterprise accounts and be the primary driver of net-new revenue and platform expansion. You will work alongside Solutions Engineers, Partner Manager, and cross-functional Vercel stakeholders to bring Vercel's platform into some of the most digitally ambitious and transformational companies in the region.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Build and execute multi-year account plans across a curated set of named Major Accounts, with hyperscalers, SIs, and agency partners embedded in the strategy from day one
Drive net-new revenue through outbound ownership, rigorous discovery, executive alignment, and multi-threaded deal execution spanning engineering, product, procurement, legal, and the C-suite
Translate Vercel's platform into board-level narratives around developer velocity, infrastructure consolidation, and AI-driven transformation as measurable operational levers
Own complex commercial negotiations and establish Vercel as a long-term strategic infrastructure partner embedded in your accounts' roadmaps for web and AI transformation
What you need
5–10+ years in enterprise SaaS with a demonstrated track record of closing six and seven-figure deals in major or strategic accounts
Experienced in partner-influenced or co-sell motions — you know how to activate a hyperscaler or SI/ISV relationship to open doors and accelerate deals, not just name-drop them
Fluent in English and local language requirements based on the territory you’re focused on
Comfortable discussing architecture with a CTO and total cost of ownership with a CFO
A disciplined account planner who thinks in years, builds executive relationships from scratch, and sequences complex accounts to maximise long-term revenue
Fluent in MEDDPICC and rigorous about forecast hygiene and CRM discipline
Able to hold credible, technically grounded conversations with senior engineering and product leadership — without leaning on a solutions engineer as a crutch
A value seller who leads with business outcomes and customer pain, not feature lists
Bonus if you
Have a background in web development, developer tooling, web infrastructure, cloud platforms, or AI/ML
Come with existing relationships at AWS, GCP, Azure, or major SI/ISV players active in the UK and Northern Europe markets
Have experience navigating ELAs, global framework agreements, or enterprise procurement in regulated industries
Have sold into media, retail, financial services, or digital-native companies — verticals where Vercel has strong traction in the UK market
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The London based pay range for this role is 200,000 - 270,000 GBP OTE. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. As adjoe enters its next critical phase of global expansion, with a strategic priority of building a scalable and predictable revenue engine. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager to advance our GTM strategy and drive global execution with our teams in Europe, North America, and APAC. This is not a maintenance role; it is a creation role at the heart of our commercial strategy.
Your mission is to shape and refine our global GTM strategy and take strategic priorities through execution to achieve results. You will define and implement the operations that will ensure we can continue to scale efficiently across all markets.
Reporting directly to our Managing Director (GTM) and working closely with regional VPs of Revenue, the wider adjoe leadership team, and our Product and Tech departments, you will act as a strategic partner and operational bridge across teams. You’ll help translate strategic goals into execution, ensuring alignment from planning to delivery. This role blends analytical and strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration—supporting high-impact initiatives, guiding teams through complex deals, and driving seamless execution from partner engagement to integration.
What You Will Do:
- GTM Strategy: Partner with our Managing Director (GTM) and regional VPs of Revenue (Europe, North America, APAC) to design and implement a scalable global GTM strategy, defining the end-to-end sales processes and operational cadence.
- Business Development: Actively support our Sales teams on high-priority, strategic accounts across all stages (deal, onboarding, and scaling). Support our Growth teams in strategic account development (e.g. new product upsell strategy).
- Sales Enablement & Productivity: Act as the primary bridge between Product Marketing and the global Sales organization, developing a continuous enablement program to equip teams with the knowledge and assets to win.
- Reporting & Pipeline Management: Architect and build our global sales reporting framework to establish a single source of truth for pipeline health, forecasting, and performance KPIs.
- Sales Incentive Design & Execution: Design, model, and manage a motivating global sales commission plan, from initial hands-on creation to eventual strategic oversight as the team scales.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the operational bridge between Sales, Product, and Tech teams, driving clarity, alignment, and accountability across markets.
- Future Growth - Team Development: Build and lead the foundation of the Revenue Operations function, establishing processes and a structure that can grow with the company’s expansion.
Who You Are:
- Strategic & Analytical: 2–3 years of experience in Strategy Consulting (MBB), high-growth Start-ups or Scale-ups, or VC/PE, with a strong record in strategy development and execution, ideally GTM oriented.
- Business Acumen: Experienced in formulation (and ideally execution) of commercial strategy and GTM motions. Solid understanding or strong interest in AdTech, including the key performance metrics and sales cycles common in the space.
- Builder’s Mindset: You combine structure and pragmatism—equally comfortable architecting multi-year GTM plans and rolling up your sleeves to execute. You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Executive Presence & Partnership: Strong business acumen and the ability to work closely with senior leadership and external partners. You influence through insight, build trust across teams, and act as a reliable partner who turns strategy into execution.
- Problem-Solving & Ownership: You bring a structured, yet adaptive approach to challenges—leading high-impact initiatives from idea to outcome with a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Global Communicator: Excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Academic Foundation: Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM from a top-tier university. An MBA is a plus but not required.
Our Commitment to Your Success:
- Invest in Your Future: You’ll join a high-performing, rapidly scaling global company with a clear vision, while directly influencing the company's trajectory and sharing in its success. We’re committed to your growth through regular feedback, mentoring, and our development programs, you’ll expand your skillset and build a long-term career at adjoe.
- Easy Arrival to adjoe: From signing to settling in Hamburg, we’ve got you and your family covered, including a relocation bonus, and personal support to help you build your life here, making your move smooth and stress-free.
- Live Your Best Life, at Work and Beyond: Flexible hours, remote Fridays and 30 vacation days. You’ll also have three weeks of remote work each year, access to an 24/7 in-house gym with classes, and mental health support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Thrive Where You Work: Our Hamburg HQ offers more than a view of the Alster lake. You’ll find a vibrant office with top-notch equipment, open collaboration spaces, and plenty of snacks and drinks to keep ideas (and energy) flowing.

About us
OpenZeppelin is the security standard onchain finance is built on. Founded in 2015, our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to an open financial system, built on open standards and secured by rigorous research.
Our open-source Contract Libraries have facilitated over $35 trillion in onchain value and are used by 10 of the top 10 tokenized money market funds and 9 of the top 10 stablecoins by market cap.
We combine AI-native security tooling with deep research and a decade of audit expertise to support leading institutions and crypto-native teams shaping the next generation of digital assets like DTCC, Fidelity, Coinbase, Uniswap, Aave, the Ethereum Foundation, and many more across the full secure development lifecycle.
Please note:
Always refer to OpenZeppelin's official job page for the most accurate information about our open roles, as we have seen multiple third party job sites posting inaccurate information.
The Secure Development team ❤️
OpenZeppelin is the security partner of choice for the most important protocols in Web3. Our Secure Development team sits at the intersection of building and breaking: we design, implement, and harden production-grade libraries and smart contracts for leading projects across EVM, Starknet, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, Aptos, and beyond, often as an embedded extension of the client's engineering team.
We work the way the rest of the industry will five years from now. Every developer on the team is a fully AI-native engineer, supported by outstanding internal AI tooling built for every phase of secure development. Developers own their workstreams end-to-end — agents amplify their effectiveness, and peers, security researchers, and external auditors provide rigorous review on every piece of work that ships.
The Canton Network engagement
This role joins an active
24-month, multi-million-dollar commitment
to build the open-source DeFi foundations of the world's most institutional blockchain. You'll deliver production-ready Reference Implementations (privacy-preserving DEX, lending, cross-chain stablecoin settlement, confidential auction launchpad, and more), the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml that Canton developers will import, and Canton standards implementation.
Within this, you will:
Own features of the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml end to end, from design through audit: examples include a Timelock, access control, vaults, or token standard support.
Design and implement components of the year-1 Reference Implementations: privacy-preserving DEX, lending protocol, cross-chain stablecoin settlement, and confidential auction launchpad.
Implement and shepherd the OZ Daml versions of CIP-56, CIP-86, CIP-103, future CIPs. Coordinate with Digital Asset on spec evolution and with ChainSafe on middleware alignment.
Present and defend your designs in technical discussions with Digital Asset, the Canton Foundation, and other partners.
Work with OpenZeppelin's security researchers on threat models, audit preparation, and fixes for the components you own.
Use AI systems as core daily tools for research, design, implementation, testing, and security work. Build agents, skills, and workflows, and share what works with the team.
Contribute developer-experience and security feedback upstream into the Canton protocol, Splice, the Daml SDK, and the Splice Wallet Kernel.
Research privacy-preserving DeFi, multi-party authorization patterns, and Canton-specific primitives, and share what you learn with the team.
You have
Production Daml fluency.
You understand templates, choices, controllers/observers/signatories, multi-party authorization, sub-transaction views, and propose/accept patterns as first-class primitives. Running an SV, contributing to Splice internals, governance, or Canton Coin tokenomics.
Canton architecture depth.
You understand the network, not only the code: the Global Synchronizer and private synchronizers, what each party and synchronizer sees in a transaction, smart contract upgrades, and the token standards (CIP-56, CIP-112).
3+ years of smart contract development in production.
This includes hands-on work on Canton or another UTXO-based or privacy-preserving architecture (Cardano, Midnight, Zcash, Aleo, Mina, or similar). You can reason about Canton's privacy boundaries the way an EVM developer reasons about storage slots.
Production DeFi experience.
You have shipped DeFi primitives such as AMMs, vaults (ERC-4626 or equivalent), lending protocols, or cross-chain settlement, and you understand the security pitfalls of each. You know the standard EVM patterns (access control, token standards, lending pools, DEXs), because many Canton standards reuse them.
A security-first mindset.
This is non-negotiable. You build secure code by default, you think adversarially about every line you write, and you find vulnerabilities when you review Daml code. We look for a developer with a security mindset, not a security researcher. Published audits, threat models, or disclosures are a plus.
An AI-native workflow.
Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent is your daily driver. You know agents, harnesses, and skills, not only autocomplete. You hold AI output to the same standard as a colleague's pull request, and you stay accountable for everything you ship.
Fluency in client-facing communication (English)
Autonomy and proactivity.
Nice to have
Cryptography or financial-engineering background.
Privacy-preserving DeFi rewards both.
Institutional finance and compliance design experience.
Credential gates, multi-party attestation, custody flows, capital-markets microstructure, RWA tokenization, settlement.
Experience running an SV
, contributing to Splice internals, governance, or Canton Coin tokenomics.
Cross-chain interoperability exposure.
Production work with at least one major cross-chain messaging protocol (Chainlink CCIP, LayerZero, Wormhole, Axelar, or similar).
Library / SDK API design taste.
You've built reusable, import-first developer libraries, not just applications. You have opinions on extensibility patterns (hooks, modular components, override points) and on what makes an audited primitive
pleasant
to consume.
Experience applying AI to security work.
You've already used AI as a serious instrument in security workflows: audit assistance, vulnerability research, fuzzing, invariant or spec analysis, static-analysis augmentation, or similar.
Hands-on experience with non-EVM ecosystems.
Starknet, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, Aptos, Move-based chains.
Open-source contributions
to widely-used libraries in the smart-contract or AI-tooling space.
Logistics
Our interview process is designed to be fast (we target ~30 days from first call to offer) while still giving both sides a clear "yes." The full process consists of:
Recruiter interview (30-45 minutes)
Manager interview (60 minutes)
Team interview (45 minutes)

This role is focused on regional execution and will be responsible for helping partners and internal field teams work together more effectively to drive pipeline, revenue, and market coverage in APAC.
In this role, you’ll:
- Build strong working relationships with key partners in-region, including resellers, distributors, MSPs, and SI partners, and serve as the primary point of contact for partner engagement within the geo.
- Drive partner enablement so partners can effectively position Chainalysis, qualify opportunities, navigate sales plays, and work within our channel processes and requirements.

- Work closely with regional sales leaders, AEs, RevOps, Marketing, and Partnerships to align partners to the right accounts, opportunities, and go-to-market motions in-region.
- Identify high-potential regional partners to prioritize, grow existing partner performance, and help recruit new partners where there is clear market opportunity or coverage need.
- Support internal field enablement in APAC so sellers understand when and how to engage partners, the relevant program guidelines, and how to work effectively with indirect routes to market.
- Run a consistent operating cadence with top partners, including business reviews, pipeline check-ins, account mapping, and escalation management where needed.
- Track partner activity and outcomes in partnership with RevOps and sales, including partner-sourced pipeline, training progress, and overall partner performance in the region.
- Coordinate closely with the broader Partnerships team to ensure regional execution is aligned to the overall program while remaining focused on in-market partner activation and revenue growth.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience managing channel, reseller, distributor, MSP, VAR, and SI relationships at a B2B technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to enable partners effectively, including training on value proposition, sales plays, qualification, and how to work opportunities with internal sales teams.
- Experience driving measurable business outcomes through partners, including partner-sourced pipeline
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales, marketing, RevOps, and other internal stakeholders to execute partner plans.
- Strong commercial judgment and execution skills, including the ability to prioritize partners, manage competing opportunities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience working in APAC or in a multi-country region with different market dynamics, sales motions, and partner maturity levels.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility internally and externally.
- Knowledge of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem, and the ability to ramp quickly on Chainalysis products, use cases, and customer needs in order to enable partners effectively.
- Background in crypto, financial services, public sector, fintech, cybersecurity, or risk/compliance software.
