ABOUT THE ROLE You'll sell to two kinds of teams. Engineering orgs are paying too much for slow CI and drowning in pull requests that AI now writes faster than humans can review. AI companies are building agents that need somewhere safe to run code, browse the web, and use a computer. The first group buys Runners and Code Reviewer. The second buys Sandboxes, often at a scale that turns into a large infrastructure contract. Every product can be tried in minutes, so proof comes fast. Your job is to turn that proof into committed contracts, sell a customer's second and third product after they start with one, and build a sales process the next hires can repeat. You'll be our first sales hire, working directly with the founders and engineering team. San Francisco-based, with regular in-office work. BASIC REQUIREMENTS - 4+ years of closing sales experience - Strong technical acumen, ideally with a background in DevTools, AI infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms - Demonstrated ability to run a consultative sale. You've helped customers define a strategy, not just evaluate a product - Excellent communication skills and comfort with high autonomy in a fast-moving environment - Based in San Francisco and open to working from the office at least 3 days per week RESPONSIBILITIES - Own a revenue target across all three products, from prospecting through close and expansion - Build pipeline in two segments: engineering orgs with heavy CI and review loads, and AI companies building agents that need sandboxed compute - Turn free-plan, Team-plan, and startup-program customers into enterprise contracts with committed spend - Sell across products: land with one, then sell the others into the same account THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Has sold AI infrastructure or developer tools, especially in the areas where Tenki competes. For Sandboxes, that's E2B, Daytona, and Modal. For CI Runners, Blacksmith and Depot. For AI Code Review, CodeRabbit and Greptile. Knowing AI-native founders and platform leaders is a plus. They're equally comfortable talking CI costs with a platform lead and agent infrastructure with an AI startup's CTO. ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our collaborative, and fast-moving team to work on one of the most rewarding projects in the mining and compute industry. BASIC REQUIREMENTS - Experience building both streaming & batch data pipelines/ETL and familiarity with design principles. - Expert in Python, PostgreSQL, and PL/pgSQL development and administration of large databases with focus on performance and production support on native cloud deployments. - Experience with scalability solutions and multi-region replication and failover solutions. - Experience with data warehouse technologies (Trino, Clickhouse, Airflow, etc). - Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. - Deep understanding of programming and experience with at least one programming language. - English language proficiency. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker - 4+ years of working experience in relevant data field. - Knowledge of blockchain technology / mining pool industry. - Experience with agile development methodology. - Experience delivering and owning web-scale data systems in production. - Experience working with Kafka, preferably redpanda & redpanda connect. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Golang Engineer to join a small but talent dense team building the future of compute markets. Although the role is remote, we need team members who can reliably work within our core time zones in LATAM (GMT-3) or the Philippines (GMT+8), and you should be fully comfortable communicating in English across our globally distributed team. This Position will report to the Tenki Engineer Manager. In this role, you’ll help build the core infrastructure that powers Tenki’s. You will: - Architect, maintain, and evolve our core gRPC API services, based on ConnectRPC - Design and operate a private, programmable microservices fabric that securely connects our microservices across the platform - Manage identity services on top of the Ory stack: Kratos, Keto, and Hydra - Develop DDoS mitigation strategies - anticipating and countering adversaries. - Build high-performance Golang gRPC services from the ground up, built to scale to millions of users - and eventually billions. - Define and implement infrastructure following immutable principles, enabling full tear-down, failover, and rapid reconstruction. - Drive ideas from concept to reality by writing clear Engineering Requirement Documents and translating them into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. - Collaborate with our Applications (TypeScript) and Platform teams to expose robust, well-designed APIs for internal and future external consumers.
