Bitcoin Mining Services - Business Development

Location: San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL Workplace: OnSite ABOUT THE COMPANY Luxor is a full-stack platform for the Bitcoin mining and digital infrastructure industries. We build software, hardware, financial, and energy solutions that help mining operators improve performance, manage risk, optimize costs, and scale their operations. Location: Miami, FL or San Francisco, CA, in office. Our Miami office opens in Q1 2027; until then, Miami-based hires work remotely with regular customer travel. Start: Immediately Reports to: SVP, Business Development ABOUT THE ROLE This posting is always open: we hire strong hunters whenever we meet them. Luxor's sales team is organized into specialist pods: - Hardware & Logistics: ASIC procurement, brokerage and global logistics. - Hashrate Derivatives: hashprice hedges, fixed payouts and financing. - Mining Pool & Firmware: institutional Bitcoin mining pool and LuxOS firmware. - Energy & Commander: power supply and demand response in ERCOT and SPP, plus fleet management software. You'll join the pod that best fits your background, interest and where the opportunity is biggest. You'll be trained across the full stack and expected to cross-sell where possible. This is a closing role, not a meeting-booking role. You'll own your pipeline from first outreach to signed contract. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Prospect and close new business with mining operators, hosting providers, institutional clients and hardware counterparties. - Run the full cycle: outreach, discovery, proposals, negotiation, close and handoff to onboarding. - Grow your accounts across Luxor's product lines. - Spend most of your week in front of customers: on the phone, at their sites and at industry events. - Keep HubSpot accurate so your pipeline speaks for itself. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3+ years in B2B sales, business development or another revenue-generating role, with deals you sourced and closed yourself. - Comfort with outbound: cold calls, cold emails, working a room at a conference. - Genuine interest in Bitcoin mining. You don't need to be an expert, but you should already know what a mining pool does and what an ASIC is, and be eager to go deep fast. - Ability to learn technical products and explain them in business terms. - Willingness to work in office in Miami or SF and travel for customers and events. - Spanish or Mandarin is a plus. THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF - You're competitive, self-directed and motivated by uncapped upside. - You want to learn an entire industry fast, with a sales team and onboarding program built to ramp you. THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF - You want a structured SDR role with a manager running your day. WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive base plus uncapped, gross-profit-based commission. - Direct exposure to the biggest operators in Bitcoin mining and digital infrastructure. - A path to owning a pod as Luxor grows. - Health, dental and vision, 401(k) matching and unlimited PTO. At Luxor we believe that meaningful contributions can be made by anyone. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, protected veteran status, or disability status. Luxor welcomes all! HOW WE USE AI IN OUR HIRING PROCESS We use AI tools to support certain parts of our hiring process, and we believe in being transparent about how they’re used. During your application, AI may assist in reviewing CVs, qualifications, and assignments by providing additional insights, but it does not make decisions, every application is evaluated at each step by a member of our hiring team. We also use AI to transcribe interviews so our team can stay focused on the conversation rather than note-taking. Any voice recordings are automatically deleted within 15 days. In addition, AI helps us keep candidates informed about their application status and helps us understand how our process is working so we can improve it over time. In all cases, AI is used to support efficiency and consistency, not to replace human judgment. If you have any questions about how we use these tools or your data, or if you would prefer to opt out of any of these features, please include them in the dedicated section of the application form, and we’ll follow up accordingly.
