Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We are seeking a Senior Developer on our Open Source Team, focused on strengthening 1Password's open source posture and making our developer tools easy to use directly inside developers' workflows through agentic IDE integrations: our Agent Hooks and IDE plugins. You'll serve as a technical leader on the team, owning architectural decisions and driving cohesive execution on medium-to-large projects, from initial planning through development and into customer support.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- Significant professional software development experience, with a track record of independently owning and delivering medium-to-large technical projects end to end.
- Advanced, hands-on command of a modern development toolchain (Git, IDEs, terminal, debugging and testing tools) and the languages relevant to the team's work; comfortable reading, writing, and reviewing others' code.
- Experience designing extensible, maintainable systems, ideally developer tooling, IDE extensions, agent integrations, or actively maintained open source projects.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and make architectural decisions that keep products scalable, secure, and high quality.
- A track record of working effectively in public, engaging with external contributors and upholding a high quality bar in community-facing repositories.
- Interest in agent-assisted development and building tools to make agent-assisted development smoother and more secure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make a project's impact and progress visible to engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
- A security-minded approach consistent with 1Password's principles.
Bonus points for:
- Experience maintaining a popular open source project or running open source community engagement.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled or agentic IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and the emerging agent-hook ecosystem.
- Experience contributing to an Open Source Program Office (OSPO) or similar function.
What you can expect:
- Contribute large new features, significant product improvements, and critical bug fixes, such as extending our Agent Hooks across IDEs or building genuine in-IDE value beyond links to external docs.
- Make architectural decisions that keep our integrations and public repositories scalable, secure, and aligned to 1Password's existing security and authentication models.
- Contribute to the team's roadmap by identifying technical opportunities and risks up to ~6 months out, then lead execution aligned to team objectives.
- Raise the quality bar by identifying lapses in code quality and gaps in testing coverage, anticipating and reporting potential problems, and fostering a high standard of documentation across community-facing repositories.
- Ensure alignment with cross-functional partners (Partnerships, Product, UX, and the SDK/CLI teams), translating requirements into actionable work.
- Drive initiatives that better support 1Password customers on your platform and mitigate issues developers face.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment by modeling best practices, providing constructive feedback, and supporting a sense of shared ownership.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $153,000 USD and $214,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $144,000 CAD and $202,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI

An overview of this role
As Manager, Engineering, Nonlinear Productivity (Friction Elimination & Solutions), you’ll help GitLab break the linear relationship between headcount and engineering output. In this role, you’ll oversee the initiative’s forward-scanning work, reviewing GitLab’s software development lifecycle and code-generation workflows to spot recurring friction, test durable fixes, and identify internal solutions that could become customer-facing products.
You’ll report to the Senior Manager or Director, Nonlinear Productivity and work at the intersection of engineering, developer productivity, AI-assisted development, and product. You’ll build a data-backed view of where technical interventions can have the highest leverage, test solutions through prototypes, drive validated fixes into internal adoption, and help build the case for productizing the strongest outcomes.
What you’ll do
Survey GitLab’s internal software development lifecycle and code-generation workflows to identify structural friction early, and build a data-backed view of where technical interventions will have the highest leverage.
Evaluate build, buy, and adapt options for each opportunity, including emerging agentic and AI tooling, with a clear view of cost, risk, and durability.
Stand up prototypes and review architecture directly to test whether a proposed fix moves a target metric and represents a durable solution before GitLab makes broader engineering investment.
Hire and manage a small, high-caliber team, or operate as a hands-on working manager, with a focus on talent density over headcount.
Drive validated fixes from prototype to internal adoption by partnering with affected teams so solutions are relied on, used, and maintained.
Build the technical and business case for productizing internal fixes that prove durable, in partnership with product.
Document reusable learnings so successful internal fixes don’t remain tribal knowledge.
Report impact through changes in key metrics and progress on turning internal fixes into products, including a clear account of what didn’t work.
What you’ll bring
Ability to use GitLab.
A track record of identifying and shipping technical fixes for developer productivity, continuous integration and continuous delivery, or platform friction, including problems you found before they were assigned.
Comfort operating with high ambiguity and no existing backlog, building the roadmap rather than executing one handed down.
People management experience, including in a small-team or working-manager capacity.
Technical depth to evaluate and prototype solutions directly, not only direct others toward them.
Product judgment to assess whether an internal tool could hold up for paying customers.
Familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted development tooling.
Experience moving an internal tool toward an external, customer-facing product is advantageous.
About the team
The Nonlinear Productivity team improves how GitLab engineers, and increasingly agents, build, review, and ship code. We test and scale durable technical fixes that improve our internal engineering output.
Career ladder
In this role, you can progress to Senior Manager, Nonlinear Productivity, with an expanded mandate across the full set of team metrics we use to track improvement.

About You
We’re looking for a Web3 Fullstack Engineer to build the layer where web2 and web3 meet. Our mission is seamless web2 ↔ web3 integration — letting players and developers interact with digital items and move them through their full lifecycle (mint, own, trade, transfer, redeem, retire) without ever having to think about which side of the chain they’re on. You’ll work across the whole stack: wallet-connected frontends, high-throughput backend services, and the smart contract and indexing layers that make on-chain items feel as fast and familiar as anything in web2.
This is a hands-on engineering role with broad ownership. A player buying an item with a credit card, a game granting an in-game asset, and a marketplace settling a peer-to-peer trade should all resolve to the same coherent item model — regardless of whether the item lives in a database, a custodial wallet, or on-chain. Making that experience invisible to the end user, and reliable for the developer, is the core of the job.
You care about product quality and developer experience as much as protocol correctness. You’re comfortable owning a feature end to end, reasoning about trust and custody boundaries, and making pragmatic calls about what belongs on-chain versus off-chain.
About Us
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com
Responsibilities
Build Seamless Web2 ↔ Web3 Integration
— Design and ship the flows that let users move between traditional accounts/payments and on-chain wallets without friction: custodial and non-custodial wallets, account abstraction, gasless transactions, and fiat on-ramps.
Own the Digital Item Lifecycle
— Build the systems behind item mint, ownership, transfer, trading, and redemption — keeping on-chain state and off-chain records consistent, auditable, and fast.
Develop Fullstack Features
— Deliver end to end across wallet-connected frontends, backend services, and the smart contract / indexing layer that powers item ownership and turnover.
Model Items & Ownership
— Design data models and APIs that represent items uniformly whether they live off-chain, in a custodial wallet, or on-chain, and keep them in sync.
Ensure Reliability of Value Flows
— Anything that moves items or money must be correct under failure: idempotency, reconciliation, replay safety, and clear recovery paths.
Integrate Blockchains & Marketplaces
— Interact with EVM chains, token standards, indexers, and marketplace/settlement flows; abstract their differences behind clean internal interfaces.
Collaborate Across Teams
— Work with product, security, payments, and game-facing teams to turn business needs into well-scoped technical plans, and document decisions so they stand on their own.
What You Bring
Web3 & Digital Assets
Web2 ↔ Web3 Integration
— Hands-on experience bridging traditional systems with on-chain ones: wallet onboarding, custodial vs. non-custodial trade-offs, account abstraction, gasless/relayed transactions.
EVM & Smart Contracts
— Working knowledge of EVM chains and Solidity, including reading, integrating with, and reasoning about the safety of contracts.
Token & Item Standards
— Practical understanding of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155, and how they map to real game items, ownership, and transfers.
On-chain / Off-chain Sync
— Experience keeping blockchain state consistent with off-chain databases: indexing, event ingestion, reorg handling, and reconciliation.
Frontend Engineering
TypeScript & React
— Strong TypeScript and React skills for building responsive, production-grade interfaces.
Wallet Integration
— Experience with wallet connectivity and web3 client libraries (e.g. wagmi, viem, ethers.js, WalletConnect) and embedded/social login wallets.
Backend Engineering
Backend Services
— Solid backend skills in Node.js and Go: clean APIs, concurrency, and performance under load.
Distributed Systems
— Experience with distributed systems and their trade-offs (consistency, availability, failure modes), especially where correctness of value transfer matters.
Data & Infrastructure
PostgreSQL
— Schema design, query optimization, and migrations at scale.
Kubernetes
— Deploying, operating, and debugging services in a k8s environment.
Message Streaming
— Kafka or NATS — event-driven patterns, consumer groups, at-least-once delivery.
Git & CI/CD
— Git and modern CI/CD practices.
Domain Context
Gaming Industry Experience
— Experience building or operating platforms for game developers, publishers, or players — especially anything touching in-game items, economies, or ownership.
Nice to Have
Experience building NFT marketplaces, item trading, or secondary-market / settlement systems
Familiarity with blockchain indexing tooling (The Graph, custom indexers) and node/RPC infrastructure
Experience with account abstraction (ERC-4337), smart wallets, or paymaster/relayer setups
Background in payments or fiat on-ramp integration bridging traditional commerce and crypto
Experience with non-EVM ecosystems (Solana, etc.) or cross-chain / bridging patterns
Familiarity with security and compliance relevant to digital assets: custody, key management, audit logging, KYC/AML touchpoints
Contributions to open-source web3, wallet, or tooling projects
Hands-on, up-to-date experience with modern AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot, Cursor) for code generation, review, and accelerating day-to-day engineering work
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes unlimited Flexible Time Off and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. Together, we’re not just building a business; we’re cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.
The duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time to support the organization’s goals and individual growth. This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About Anthropic
Anthropic's mission is the responsible development and maintenance of advanced AI for the long-term benefit of humanity. We are a safety-focused AI company working to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As our compute infrastructure scales to support frontier model training and deployment, we are building a world-class team to design, deliver, and operate the physical facilities that make that possible.
About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Data Center Architect with deep expertise in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design to join our growing infrastructure team. This role is the technical owner for the physical building fabric of Anthropic's AI compute facilities — from the earliest site feasibility studies and test fits through reference design development, design partner oversight, and construction delivery.
As Anthropic scales its data center program across multiple sites in the United States and internationally, you will set the civil, structural, and architectural standards that govern how our facilities are designed and built. You will work directly with design-build partners, AE firms, and internal mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure our facilities are optimized for high-density AI workloads, constructable on aggressive timelines, and replicable across a growing portfolio.
This is an owner's engineer role — you are the technical authority, not a consultant. You will be expected to make binding design decisions, identify problems before they reach the field, and drive standardization across a pipeline of concurrent projects globally.
What You'll Do
Own the civil, structural, and architectural reference design standards for Anthropic's data center portfolio, establishing repeatable design elements deployable across multiple sites and jurisdictions
Lead front-end test fits and site feasibility studies, evaluating structural approaches, site constraints, utility interfaces, and code compliance to inform site selection and design direction
Review and approve CSA deliverables from design-build partners and AE firms at each design stage (SD, DD, CD, IFC), including drawings, structural calculations, specifications, and geotechnical reports
Integrate CSA design with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and IT infrastructure teams to produce coordinated designs that support high-density AI compute and direct liquid-cooling systems
Drive site and campus planning to maximize compute density, optimize construction phasing, and align physical layout with IT and operational requirements
Partner with the construction and delivery team to provide technical oversight during construction, resolve field issues, and support commissioning activities
Evaluate and develop relationships with design partners, structural engineering subconsultants, and prefabrication / modular vendors; define qualification and performance standards
Establish and maintain facility support area standards — logistics staging, loading, maintenance access, and operational support spaces — scaled for hyperscale deployments
Identify modular and prefabricated construction opportunities that reduce schedule, cost, and design risk across the project pipeline
Manage review cycles and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and keep projects moving on aggressive timelines
Travel to project sites globally for design reviews, construction audits, and commissioning milestones (up to 40%)
What We're Looking For
Required
10+ years delivering mission-critical facility infrastructure, with at least 6 years directly in hyperscale or large-scale data center CSA design
Deep technical expertise across civil site development, structural design, and architectural programming for industrial or mission-critical facilities
Demonstrated experience as an owner's engineer or lead technical authority — setting standards, approving deliverables, and managing external design teams
Proficiency with applicable building codes and standards including IBC, IFC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, FM Global, and local jurisdictional requirements across multiple geographies
Experience with high-density compute environments, including structural and architectural accommodation of direct liquid-cooling systems, overhead busway, and dense rack deployments
Track record of driving design standardization and developing repeatable reference designs across a multi-site portfolio
Ability to evaluate and red-line structural calculations, civil site plans, and architectural construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
Experience coordinating across MEP disciplines and IT infrastructure teams in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
Clear and direct communication with both technical and non-technical audiences; ability to make and defend design decisions with incomplete information
Preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in civil or structural engineering, or licensed architect (AIA / RA)
Experience with prefabricated and modular construction strategies for data center applications
Familiarity with geotechnical risk assessment and foundation design for large industrial facilities
LEED accreditation, Uptime Institute AOS/M&O certification, or equivalent mission-critical credentials
International project delivery experience (Europe, Asia-Pacific, or other regions)
Experience reviewing design packages in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, or Navisworks
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About the Role
Anthropic manages one of the industry's largest AI fleets — spanning multiple accelerator families, cpu families and clouds. The Capacity Engineering team is responsible for making sure all our infrastructure resources are accounted for, well-utilized, and efficiently allocated. We own the data, tooling, and operational systems that let Anthropic plan, measure, and maximize utilization across first-party and third-party compute.
As an engineer on Capacity Engineering, you will build the production systems that power this work: data pipelines that ingest and normalize telemetry from heterogeneous cloud environments, observability tooling that gives the org real-time visibility into fleet health, and performance instrumentation that measures how efficiently every major workload uses the hardware it’s running on. You will be expected to write production-quality code every day, operate alongside Kubernetes-native infrastructure at meaningful scale, and directly influence decisions around Capacity.
You’ll collaborate closely with research engineering, infrastructure, inference, and finance teams. The work requires someone who can move between data engineering, systems engineering, and observability with comfort — and who thrives in a high-autonomy, high-ambiguity environment.
This is a pipeline role feeding four areas.
Depending on your background and business priority, you’ll focus primarily in one, but the boundaries are fluid and the problems overlap:
Data platform
Pipelines that ingest occupancy and utilization telemetry from Kubernetes clusters, normalize billing and usage across cloud providers, and serve the BigQuery tables the rest of the org queries against. Correctness, completeness, and latency are the job, not a footnote. Consumers range from research engineers to finance to leadership, so it's product work as much as engineering: defining schema contracts, making data discoverable, and figuring out what people actually need.
Planning
Knowing what the fleet has, where it's going, and what's in the way. Making the state of the fleet legible and actionable in real time: cluster health tooling, capacity planning platforms, alerting on occupancy drops and allocation problems, and systemic fixes to scheduling and fragmentation. Kubernetes operations on one side, cross-team coordination on the other.
Efficiency
Measuring and improving how effectively every major workload uses the hardware it runs on. Instrumenting utilization across training, inference, and eval systems, building benchmarking infrastructure, establishing per-config baselines, and working directly with system-owning teams to close the gaps. The metric has to be good enough that the team on the hook for it agrees with the number.
Attribution and forecasting
Connecting what the fleet costs to what the business is doing with it. Reconciling CSP billing exports against vendor telemetry and internal systems with mismatched schemas, attributing spend to the workloads and teams that generate it, and turning inference demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan. Efficiency metrics have to survive contact with finance: stripped of pure demand and unit-price effects, reproducible month over month, and legible to a CFO.
Key responsibilities
Build the planning and allocation stack — the tools leadership uses to allocate capacity, teams use to plan against their allocations, and the scheduler enforces. Cross-region and cross-provider placement, guardrails, queueing, occupancy KPIs.
Drive the efficiency programs: stranding and rightsizing, unused capacity recovery, and job-level utilization across training, inference, and eval. Establish per-config baselines and work with system-owning teams to close the gaps. Directly influence decisions around a significant area of company investment.
Own attribution and forecasting — reconcile billing across ten-plus providers against telemetry and internal systems, attribute spend to the workloads that generate it, and turn demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan and supply pipeline.
Build the data platform underneath all of it: pipelines ingesting occupancy, utilization, and cost from a rapidly diversifying fleet into BigQuery, with real ownership of completeness, latency SLOs, and gap detection. Every new provider is a net-new integration.
Operate Kubernetes-native systems at scale — collection agents, workload labeling, and the taint/reservation/scheduling behavior that determines what capacity is actually usable.
Treat the output as a product, not a pipeline. Gather your own requirements, define schema contracts, and design for consumers ranging from research engineers to a CFO — including on-call and SLOs, because these surfaces are load-bearing for the company.
What you bring
A strong track record building and operating production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with a devops flavor.
Python and SQL at production quality. Most pipeline code is Python; the presentation layer is BigQuery SQL, including table-valued functions and views. Both need to be idiomatic, well-tested, and maintainable.
Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) and its operations
Experience with observability tooling stack, including Prometheus, PromQL, and Grafana, including writing recording rules and building monitoring that engineering teams rely on.
Ability to gather your own requirements and work across organizational boundaries in an ambiguous environment with limited direction.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with capacity planning, resource management, or cost attribution systems at a hyperscaler or in a large-scale machine learning environment. Time spent in product engineering and developer experience absolutely counts here.
Scheduling and packing efficiency experience, or profiling-driven optimization of large distributed workloads.
Multi-cloud data ingestion experience, especially normalizing billing exports, reservation APIs, on-demand capacity reservations, commitments, and vendor telemetry from providers with different billing arrangements.
Total cost of ownership and forecasting experience, including decomposing whether infrastructure growth is causal or correlated with business drivers.
Accelerator infrastructure familiarity. GPU metrics (DCGM), TPU utilization, Trainium power and utilization metrics, or experience with machine learning training and inference systems at the hardware level.
Experience building internal data products with self-service access, schema contracts, API serving, documentation, and discoverability. Not just pipelines, but thinking about how the data gets consumed.
Storage efficiency, retention, and lifecycle program experience at very large scale.

About the Opportunity
The FP&A Manager will support the end-to-end close lifecycle for our San Jose operations, driving accuracy and efficiency across journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analysis. This role serves as a key pillar in the finance department, supporting critical month-end and year-end close activities while ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and tax regulations. As a proactive problem-solver, you will not only manage cross-functional queries and audit documentation but also identify strategic opportunities to automate workflows and streamline close processes within a fast-paced, complex organizational environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Finance, the Senior Manager FP&A will own the company's financial roadmap — from the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts to investor-grade scenario models and capital markets presentations. Critically, this person will also serves as the primary financial content author for investor-facing materials and investor engagement, working alongside the Global Head of Finance, CFO, and CEO to articulate the company's financial story to institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, and equity capital markets participants.
What We Look For In You
1. Financial Planning & Forecasting
Build and own the company's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) — a rigorous, bottom-up budget covering all six finance units and all business segments
Lead the quarterly rolling re-forecast cycle, incorporating latest trading volumes, crypto market conditions, macro environment, and business unit updates
Establish a monthly financial review cadence with all six Finance unit heads, producing variance analysis and forward-looking commentary
2. Investor Presentation & Capital Markets Support
Serve as the primary financial author for investor materials — Lead the construction of all investor-facing financial content — investor presentations, management roadshow decks, financial narrative sections of the S-1 / F-1 registration statement
Build and maintain an investor-grade financial model that can be shared with prospective institutional investors, covering historical financials, KPI drivers.
Develop the company's financial equity story — in partnership with the CFO and external advisors
Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, supporting the CFO in soft-touch investor outreach during the 12-month pre-IPO period
Own the preparation of quarterly earnings materials post-IPO: earnings release, CFO script, analyst Q&A preparation, and management discussion sections
3. Business Finance Partnering
Deploy and manage embedded Finance Business Partners across the company's major business units, acting as the financial partner to each segment's leadership team on resource allocation, product economics, and performance management
Own OpEx budget management across all corporate functions — headcount planning, discretionary spend, capital expenditure prioritisation — acting as the financial gatekeeper for all material resource allocation decisions
Build and manage a two-gate strategic investment review process: all investments above a defined IRR threshold (≥25% IRR on Base scenario; positive IRR on Bear / Winter Mode scenario) require FP&A-endorsed investment cases before Board approval
Provide go/no-go financial analysis for all new market entries, new product launches, M&A opportunities, and strategic partnerships
4. Board & Executive Reporting
Produce the monthly and quarterly financial package for the Board of Directors and Management Team — concise, with clear variance commentary, updated forecasts, and strategic recommendations
Lead the FP&A input into the monthly Management Team Reporting cycle
Support the CEO and CFO in preparation for Board meetings, Audit Committee reviews, and any investor committee meetings requiring financial presentation
5. FP&A Infrastructure & Team Building
Build the FP&A team from the ground up — hiring, developing, and leading a team of finance professionals across corporate FP&A, business finance partnering, and investor analytics
Implement the FP&A technology stack: Anaplan (planning and forecasting), connected to NetSuite (actuals), data warehouse, and Looker (dashboards)
Design and implement the KPI framework that will serve as the operating dashboard for the company, the Board, and future public company investors — covering trading volume, revenue per user, take rate, EBITDA margin, and segment-level metrics
Establish the monthly operating cadence described in the five-step Monthly Operating Cycle framework, embedded across all business units
Nice to Have
8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior FP&A or strategic finance role. Strong performers at the 10-year mark are encouraged to apply
Capital markets exposure — the candidate should have participated in or supported at least one of: an IPO or pre-IPO process, or an investor-facing finance role at a publicly listed or late-stage company. Ability to author financial content for institutional investors is essentia

About the role
As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst on the account abuse team, you'll build and execute enforcement workflows that keep our products safe, with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm. Your initial focus will be account compromise: Anthropic's enforcement systems have to distinguish customers whose accounts have been compromised from actors abusing the platform — and today those two populations can look identical in the data. Stolen credentials and leaked keys are a growing abuse vector, and the collateral damage from enforcement against them lands on legitimate users. You'll own this problem end to end: detection, revocation, user notification, remediation, and the criteria for restoring access — turning what is today ad hoc incident response into a scalable, repeatable program.
This position may expand into broader areas of enforcement over time. Safety is core to our mission, and you'll help shape policy enforcement so that our users can safely interact with and build on top of our products in a harmless, helpful, and honest way.
Key responsibilities
Investigate credential-compromise incidents across first-party and third-party platforms, tracing actor behavior across accounts and surfaces
Design and operate remediation workflows for compromised accounts: revocation, customer notification, and standards for restoring access
Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to improve how we separate compromised-customer traffic from willful abuse
Enforce usage policies with a focus on detecting and mitigating potentially harmful use of AI systems
Work with threat intelligence on emerging credential-abuse patterns and the actors behind them
Support the Safeguards policy design team by providing detailed feedback on policy gaps based on real enforcement scenarios
Keep up to date with emerging AI policy enforcement best practices, and use these to inform our decision-making and workflows
Write the policy framework for compromise scenarios, including cases where Anthropic can't independently verify a customer's security posture
Act as the enforcement SME when account compromise intersects with active abuse investigations
Minimum qualifications
Experience in trust and safety, fraud investigation, security operations, or a related field
Subject matter expertise in one or more of: account takeover, credential abuse, session security, or incident response
Experience designing or operating enforcement, remediation, or customer-recovery flows — not just detection
Comfort using data (SQL or similar tools) to trace actor behavior across accounts and to measure what's working
A thoughtful perspective on the tension between protecting the platform and restoring access for legitimate compromised customers
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear briefs about messy incidents for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent judgment and the ability to collaborate with team members while navigating rapidly evolving priorities and workstreams
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with credential-theft ecosystems or threat intelligence tooling
Experience working with fraud/risk vendors (e.g., device or network intelligence platforms)
Experience with API platform abuse specifically, not just consumer-account ATO
A deep interest in AI safety and responsible technology development
Experience writing effective prompts for generative AI systems in a content review or enforcement context

About the role
As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst on the account abuse team, you'll build and execute enforcement workflows that keep our products safe, with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm. Your focus will be driving a number of enforcement areas including access controls and identity verification. You'll own the policy layer of these systems: what we ask users for, when, on what grounds, and what passes. The work sits at the intersection of policy, operations, and regulatory exposure.
This position may expand into broader areas of enforcement over time. Safety is core to our mission, and you'll help shape policy enforcement so that our users can safely interact with and build on top of our products in a harmless, helpful, and honest way.
Key responsibilities
Set collection policy for identity signals: what we request, in which enforcement states, and what evidence reinstates access
Improve verification program health — accuracy, appeal coverage, and consistency of outcomes
Own access policy for hard cases, including geographic restrictions and reseller arrangements
Run the operational queue for access-control cases alongside contractor support, authoring playbooks and QA'ing scaled review output
Work with Legal, Public Policy, and Privacy stakeholders to keep our approach proportionate, privacy-preserving, and responsive to an evolving regulatory landscape
Coordinate enforcement consistency with third-party platform partners
Keep up to date with emerging AI policy enforcement best practices, and use these to inform our decision-making and workflows
Stand up graduated enforcement in practice — verification requests, conditional reinstatement, and appeal pathways that satisfy regulatory requirements for automated decisions
Minimum qualifications
Experience in trust & safety, integrity, or risk policy work
Hands-on operational experience — you've owned or quality-checked live enforcement queues, not only authored policy
Subject matter expertise in one or more of: KYC, identity verification, age or identity assurance, or verification program operations
Experience navigating evolving regulatory landscapes (including frameworks like the DSA and GDPR) as design constraints rather than blockers
Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy partners — especially where safety, privacy, and usability tradeoffs need to be navigated together
Comfort using data (SQL or similar tools) to measure what's working and inform decisions
Strong written communication skills, with experience producing clear briefs and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent judgment and the ability to make consistent, defensible calls on ambiguous cases
Preferred qualifications
Experience with graduated/tiered enforcement systems rather than binary ban models
Experience with geographic access restrictions, sanctions screening, or reseller/channel policy
Experience building or scaling a contractor review bench
A deep interest in AI safety and responsible technology development
Experience writing effective prompts for generative AI systems in a content review or enforcement context

Final base salary within this range will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
Type: Full-time
Reports to: (Interim) Director, IT
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Operations Specialist to run day-to-day IT operations at Nex. Based in our San Jose office (hybrid), you’ll own device lifecycle management, workspace networking, and access provisioning, while also providing remote support to our Hong Kong office. You will play a critical part in keeping employees productive, secure, and equipped with reliable technology as we scale. The ideal candidate is a proactive, service-oriented problem solver who can own IT operations workstreams end-to-end and execute independently, while coordinating with a global team across time zones.
This role partners closely with our Information Security team on security-related operations. If you bring broader experience in IT strategy, procurement, or infrastructure, we’d love to hear about it — there’s room to grow the scope of this role over time.
What You'll Do
IT Operations
Own device procurement, provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, resets, and redeployment across the corporate device fleet
Administer IT access provisioning and security for less-sensitive systems (e.g., maintaining admin lists, standard user access)
Maintain corporate device information security, including anti-virus and endpoint protection tools
Administer corporate workspace IT and networking infrastructure — Wi-Fi, server room equipment, and videoconferencing — for the San Jose office
Provide remote support for Hong Kong office networking and videoconferencing systems
Respond to day-to-day employee IT support requests (helpdesk tickets) with speed and clarity
Strategy & Cross-Functional Support
Ownership and maintenance of internal IT-owned systems and infrastructure for shared use by multiple functional groups
Support on business applications and systems procurement, contract negotiation and budget management
Support delivery of employee IT security training (e.g., anti-phishing awareness) in coordination with InfoSec
Provide input on device management strategy (e.g., MDM/MAID tooling) based on day-today operational experience
Assist with vendor coordination and support tickets for outsourced IT operations, as directed
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration
Hands-on experience with device management (e.g., MDM tools such as Jamf, Intune, or similar)
Working knowledge of corporate account and productivity platforms (e.g., Google Workspace admin console)
Familiarity with core networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) and videoconferencing hardware/software (e.g., Zoom Rooms)
Experience with endpoint security tools (anti-virus/EDR) and basic access-control administration (e.g., 2FA)
Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented approach to internal IT support
Ability to work independently while coordinating with colleagues across time zones (Hong
Kong, U.S. and Europe)
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to device management strategy (e.g., MDM/MAID tooling selection and roadmap) or corporate account strategy (e.g., Google Workspace), balancing security with operational
efficiency
Exposure to access provisioning and security strategy for more sensitive systems (e.g., contributing to 2FA/MFA policy, not just administering standard access)
Exposure to business application procurement, contract negotiation, or vendor management
Exposure to ownership of shared infrastructure (e.g., cloud systems, data lake) across multiple teams
Exposure to ownership of customer-facing systems (e.g., Shopify, corporate websites)
Experience supporting a hybrid or multi-office environment
Experience in consumer tech, gaming, or hardware companies

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render’s mission is simple: eliminate the tedious work of building software by providing a cloud platform that just works.
We’re evolving from the go-to platform for solo developers into the backbone for fast-scaling teams. As our users’ apps grow from a single service into complex, multi-service architectures, our biggest challenge is keeping it all feeling simple. We need a Product Designer to take that "pile of parts" and turn it into a cohesive system that actually makes sense.
As a Staff IC, you'll also help raise the bar across the organization through mentorship, design leadership, and thoughtful cross-functional influence.
This is a craft-focused IC role, and it's web UI at its most demanding. You'll own the surfaces developers depend on when the clock is ticking and things are breaking. Designing for infrastructure is unique: your screens see the most traffic when the user is most stressed, and "failure" is a first-class state, not an edge case. We’re looking for someone who finds that responsibility energizing.
You’ll join a design team that takes its craft seriously, with weekly critiques and deep cross-functional collaboration. You’ll thrive here if you love untangling complex, messy problems and turning them into accessible, beautiful experiences.
YOU WILL:
- Make a multi-service system legible at a glance. Design the views that let a developer see how their services connect and depend on each other, instead of stitching the picture together one service at a time. This comprehension gap is where design can make a complicated system feel cohesive and friendly.
- Design system-level observability. Aggregated logs, metrics, deploys, and events across a whole project, filterable by environment and resource — so a developer can answer "what's going on with my system" in one place. This is high-density information design where hierarchy, scanning speed, and progressive disclosure are the whole game.
- Design deployment as a coordinated act. When an application has many services, coordination gets hard. You'll design cross-service deployment and rollback, and a preview model so shipping feels safe at any scale.
- Design and consider all product states. You'll own the "unglamorous" moments. Like build errors, failed deploys, and empty states, and turn them into helpful experiences. Since developer tools earn their reputation by how they handle problems, your focus is on guiding the user to success even when things go wrong.
- Own a first-run experience worth recommending. The path from signup to first successful deploy is where trust starts. You'll design it so that a developer's first ten minutes make them want to tell someone.
- Contribute to where the platform goes next. Alongside the shipping work, you'll bring concept explorations and a strong point of view to a design-led discovery track, shaping the platform's future through a weekly critique cadence with the rest of the team.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 7+ years of relevant experience. Whether you’ve worked on developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or another complex, high-stakes product, we care more about your impact than your title.
- Exceptional taste and craft. You have an eye for detail that borders on obsessive — typography, spacing, motion, density, interaction feedback. You notice when something is 2px off and it bothers you, and you've shipped work other practitioners admire.
- Strong information architecture. You can take a tangle of objects and relationships and make it feel like one obvious thing.
- You design the whole journey, not a screen at a time. Your portfolio shows a user carried coherently across every surface a feature touches — entry point to empty state to failure to recovery — not a set of polished screens that don't add up to a system.
- Fluent in developer language. You know your way around services, CI/CD, and deployments. You don’t need to have built a cloud platform before, but you’re curious enough to get deep into the weeds of how it works.
- Respect for failure states. You believe an error message is an interface, and you design for the user having a bad day, not just the happy path.
- Systems fluency. You're comfortable working in and contributing to a design system as the product's surface area grows, extending it rather than fighting it.
- Strong product judgment under fast launch velocity. You frame problems well, prioritize ruthlessly, and know which details matter and which can wait.
- Clear, direct communication and a genuinely collaborative way of working with product and engineering partners — including sharing a problem space with another designer without needing hard fences between you.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience designing complex dashboards, monitoring tools, or console interfaces where data density and high-stakes clarity matter.
- You've been on-call, run side projects, or debugged systems in production. You don’t just design for developers; you understand their mental models and the specific frustrations they face.
- You’re as excited to design a CLI tool or shape an SDK as you are to build a web dashboard. You’re ready to explore new frontiers like agentic workflows and AI-assisted design, not just standard web UI.

- Writing, talks, or side projects that demonstrate your craft and point of view.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.

- 7+ years in marketing analytics and data strategy within complex B2B SaaS environments
- Deep marketing domain expertise, including attribution, funnel analysis, forecasting, KPI development, and lifecycle measurement

- Ownership of complex marketing domain work across attribution, funnel measurement, forecasting, and lifecycle analysis in a fast-moving SaaS environment
- A seat at the forefront of how AI gets applied in Marketing analytics, building the trusted, governed data foundations that every AI initiative will depend on
