About The Opportunity
OKX's Trading Products team owns the core trading experience across Spot, Margin, and Perpetual/Futures — spanning the full user journey from pre-trade decision-making, through order execution, to post-trade settlement and risk management. As our trading volumes and product complexity continue to grow globally, we are looking for a
Trading Product Manager
who can own and evolve both the
user-facing trading experience
and the
underlying trading mechanics
that power it.
This role sits at the intersection of product design and trading logic. You will work on how users discover, price, place, and manage trades (pre-trade / trade / post-trade), while also owning the correctness and soundness of the core mechanisms beneath the surface — margin models, funding rate formulas, liquidation logic, risk parameter design, and order/matching behavior. You will work closely with engineering, risk, quant, and design teams to ship trading features that are intuitive for users and rigorous under the hood.
What You’ll Be Doing
Start from users and the market to uncover real trading-experience needs
— Continuously surface user pain points through user research, behavioral data, community feedback, and conversations with active traders, ensuring product direction is grounded in real signal rather than internal assumptions.
Benchmark against industry best practices to build best-in-class trading product competitiveness
— Continuously track developments in crypto and traditional finance markets and the latest moves from leading products, translating external insight into concrete product opportunities that keep our trading experience and competitiveness ahead of the industry.
Build and continuously refine the end-to-end trading experience
— Own the full journey across pre-trade (market data presentation, decision-support tools, leverage/margin setup, risk disclosures), trade (order flow, execution feedback, order book/depth interaction), and post-trade (position management, PnL display, settlement statements) — from defining requirements through to shipping the solution.
Drive efficient cross-team collaboration with mature program-management execution
— Bring a complete product methodology, independently write rigorous PRDs, and lead alignment and coordination across engineering, risk, quant, design, and compliance. Own the full project lifecycle — from requirements definition and solution design, through development scheduling, to launch validation and post-launch review — ensuring every stage closes the loop with a clear outcome, without relying on others to drive progress.
Apply rigorous quantitative thinking to understand and reason about trading mechanics
— Bring strong logical reasoning and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to learn fast and quickly master core trading mechanisms such as margin, leverage, funding rates, and liquidation. Candidates with a deep understanding of trading systems are preferred.
What We Look For In You
We are open to two types of candidates for this role:
(a) Experienced Trading Practitioners
Prior hands-on experience in trading — either within crypto (exchange product, quant, trading desk) or in traditional finance (equities, futures, FX, derivatives) — with direct exposure to how trading products and mechanisms are designed and operated.
Solid understanding of core trading concepts: margin/leverage, order types, market microstructure, risk management, and P&L mechanics.
Comfortable reading and reasoning through trading formulas (e.g. mark price, funding rate, liquidation price) and translating them into clear product logic.
(b) High-Potential Talent
Strong quantitative/analytical foundation — a background in mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, with strong academic performance.
High self-drive and fast learning ability — demonstrated track record of picking up complex, technical domains quickly and independently, even without prior trading experience.
Genuine intellectual curiosity about financial markets and trading mechanics, with the rigor to work through formulas and edge cases rather than relying on surface-level understanding.
Common requirements for both profiles:
3+ years of product management experience (or equivalent hands-on experience in quant/trading roles for candidates from profile (a)).
Strong technical intuition — comfortable discussing system architecture and data flows with engineers, and reasoning through quantitative models. You don't need to be a developer, but you think with the rigor of one.
Excellent communication skills — able to write a precise, technically sound PRD, and to explain complex trading mechanics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High agency and execution velocity — comfortable operating in ambiguity, moving from open question to shipped solution, and making decisions with incomplete information.
Genuine passion for crypto and trading — actively uses trading products, understands order types and market microstructure, and can explain how margin, leverage, or liquidation mechanics work. Ideally, you have skin in the game.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required
to communicate effectively with internal engineering and product stakeholders in the China-based R&D center.
Nice-To-Haves
Experience with derivatives products (perpetual futures, options) either as a builder or an active trader.
Familiarity with risk parameter design (margin tiers, liquidation engines, insurance funds) at an exchange or financial institution.
Quantitative modeling experience (e.g. Python, SQL) sufficient to validate trading formulas or backtest mechanism changes.
Prior work in a high-growth crypto exchange, trading firm, or fintech company.
Fluency in English is preferred to better support communication with global product and business stakeholders.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and every action an agent takes is metered, budgeted, and settled through the billing platform this role owns.
As a monetization engineer at Perplexity, you'll own the abstractions that let product teams ship new SKUs, run pricing experiments, and convert users into paying customers, without needing to understand billing internals. The usage-based billing system this team owns is foundational to Perplexity Computer and our agentic products: metering every agent action in real time, enforcing credit budgets, and settling costs across entirely new interaction models. You'll work across subscriptions, usage-based billing, and enterprise contracts to ensure every revenue path is reliable, observable, and easy to extend.
Tech Stack: Python | Go | Stripe | PostgreSQL | AWS | Docker
WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT
- Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious.
- Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it.
- Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users.
- Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products.
- Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and own the billing platform and monetization systems that power Computer and every paid experience across Perplexity.
- Lead features end-to-end, from problem definition through technical design, implementation, and launch, including the billing API abstractions that let product teams ship new SKUs, pricing models, and monetization experiments with minimal friction.
- Build and operate the subscription, invoicing, and usage-based billing systems that serve millions of users across consumer and enterprise plans.
- Hill-climb on reliability: tiered SLOs organized by customer impact, proactive monitoring, and alerting to catch revenue-affecting issues before customers do.
- Partner closely with Finance, Data Science, Growth, Security, Support, and go-to-market teams to keep billing data accurate, auditable, and compliant, and to expand payment method coverage and optimize authorization rates globally.
- Build internal tooling that empowers Support and Finance to diagnose and resolve billing issues quickly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Direct experience building or scaling billing, payments, subscription, or monetization systems.
- Deep familiarity with payment processors (Stripe, Square, etc.), including subscriptions, invoicing, disputes, refunds, and webhooks.
- Demonstrated experience and appetite for building in-house billing solutions that rival leading best-in-class buy options.
- Strong backend engineering skills in Python with the ability to reason about complex distributed systems.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and making data-informed decisions to prioritize work.
- Strong product judgment, you translate user and stakeholder problems into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts, you ship major features ahead of schedule and drive improvements without asking for permission.
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Support, or Growth stakeholders.
- Genuine interest and adoption of AI products and willingness to learn quickly.
NICE TO HAVE
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Stripe APIs and SDKs.
- Experience with usage-based or metered billing models, especially metering agent actions, tokens, or other non-traditional units.
- Experience with Apple and Google Play in-app purchase billing.
- Familiarity with growth experimentation and PLG/self-serve SaaS monetization.
- Experience building platform constructs that support pricing experiments and A/B testing.
- Full-stack experience (our frontend is Next.js/React/TypeScript).
- Experience in a regulatory or compliance-heavy billing environment.
- Time spent at a fast-growing startup or on a high-ownership engineering team.

CloudLinux is transforming the Linux infrastructure market by ensuring security and stability for over 500,000 servers worldwide. Our products - CloudLinux OS and Imunify360 - are the de facto standard in the hosting industry and Enterprise segment.
We are seeking a visionary engineer to lead the evolution of our data platform. In 2025, we are shifting from classic database administration to an Internal Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) model. We need a specialist who doesn’t just "configure backups," but designs resilient distributed systems, writes code to automate infrastructure, and transforms databases into a reliable service for product teams.
If you are tired of endless tickets and want to build platforms capable of processing petabytes of data, this role is for you.
Your Challenges & Responsibilities:
DBaaS Architecture:
Design and implement a self-service platform based on
Terraform
and
Ansible
, enabling the deployment of HA clusters (PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis) in a heterogeneous environment (Bare Metal + OpenNebula + Kubernetes + Public Clouds). You will turn infrastructure into a product.
Scaling ClickHouse:
Manage exponentially growing analytics clusters (12+ clusters, tens of terabytes of data). You will tackle sharding, table engine optimization (ReplicatedMergeTree), and building reliable S3 backup pipelines under high load.
Data Platform & Analytics Support:
Maintain and scale the infrastructure for Apache Airflow and Redash. You will ensure the reliability of ETL pipelines and visualization tools, bridging the gap between raw infrastructure and the data analytics team.
Reliability as Code:
Implement SRE practices in data management. Replace manual incident response with automated self-healing mechanisms. Define and implement SLO/SLI for all databases.
Stack Modernization:
Lead the migration process from legacy solutions to modern cloud patterns. Participate in decision-making regarding the implementation of Kubernetes operators for stateful workloads.
Expertise & Mentorship:
Serve as the technical authority for product teams, helping them optimize data schemas and SQL queries for high-load systems.
Our Tech Stack:
Databases
: PostgreSQL 15+ (Patroni, PgBouncer), ClickHouse (Sharded/Replicated), MongoDB, Redis, Kafka
Data & Analytics:
Apache Airflow, Redash (Infrastructure & Integration).
Infrastructure:
Own 3+DC colocation (OpenNebula, Kubernetes, Bare Metal), AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DO – Hybrid Cloud.
Automation & IaC:
Terraform, Ansible, Python/Go, GitLab, Jenkins, Gerrit.
Observability
: VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki.
Why CloudLinux?
Culture:
A Remote-first company with an "Employees First" principle. We value results, not hours in the office.
Impact:
Your architectural decisions will determine the stability of services used by thousands of companies around the world.
Growth:
We support professional development and pay for training and conferences.
Requirements
What We Expect From You:
AI-Augmented Engineering:
You don't view AI as a replacement for deep technical fundamentals, but as a high-leverage tool. We actively use AI agents (Claude, Codex, Gemini, etc.) to automate boilerplate, analyze complex logs, and speed up research. We expect you to be open to modern workflows and integrate AI into your day-to-day operations, allowing you to focus your brainpower on the true architectural challenges.
Deep PostgreSQL Expertise (5+ years):
You know MVCC internals, understand locking mechanics, can configure Patroni and PgBouncer "with your eyes closed," and have experience with seamless major version upgrades under load.
ClickHouse Mastery:
Experience operating large clusters, understanding ZooKeeper/ClickHouse Keeper, sharding, replication internals, and the ability to diagnose performance issues at the data-part level.
Engineering Mindset (SRE/DevOps):
You hate doing the same task twice by hand. Experience writing complex Terraform modules and Ansible roles is mandatory. Programming skills in
Python
or
Go
for automation are a huge plus.
Hybrid Environment Experience:
You understand the differences between running DBs on Bare Metal vs. Kubernetes vs. Cloud and know how to optimize TCO and disk subsystem performance (NVMe, Network Storage).
Systems Approach:
You see the big picture - from the network packet to the application business logic. You understand the importance of security (FIPS, Audit logs) and Disaster Recovery.
English:
upper-intermediate or higher - to ensure clear communication of progress within the teams
Nice to Have:
Experience building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
Experience operating databases in Kubernetes (CloudNativePG, Altinity Operator).
Experience working in Cloud and Hosting providers on similar services.
Benefits
What's in it for you?
A focus on professional development.
Interesting and challenging projects.
Fully remote work with flexible working hours, which allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.
Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.
Compensation for private medical insurance.
Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.
Budget for education.
The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.
