From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

Metabase is the easiest way for people to get insights from their data, from tiny startups who get up and running quickly to major corporations with tens of thousands of users. That's why people love us.
We bring data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence. We provide an opinionated open source starting point for how companies should measure, analyze and share their data, which is used by tens of thousands of companies.
About the role
Our Finance & Analytics team owns the authoritative view of Metabase's business performance, and the opinionated read on what's driving it. Internally, this is used to drive decisions; externally, this is used to meet our obligations to investors, auditors, and tax authorities.
We’re looking for a quantitative-minded generalist to lead a portfolio of analytical projects across the business and own an area of finance operations. Your analytical projects will focus on how we measure and understand the broader business: establishing authoritative definitions for key metrics and investigating what’s driving changes in the data. In your operational area, you’ll run the work and build systems that make it reliable and increasingly automated, drawing on external specialists for technical expertise.
This isn’t a traditional finance role: we’re a small team of generalists who think in systems, learn unfamiliar domains quickly, and reason through problems from first principles.
Responsibilities
Leading analytical projects that change how we understand the business. Examples include:
Adapting our ARR definition as our business model evolves
Evaluating the health of our sales and marketing funnel
Finding relationships between product initiatives and expansion or churn
Owning a traditional finance domain (such as Accounting or Tax). This will involve a combination of operational work, managing external experts, and evaluating the overall health of the operation
Automating the workflows in your domain so our operational and compliance requirements take as little manual effort as possible. Our aspiration is that areas of traditional finance are treated similarly to analytical systems: a set of inputs that are transformed via defined logic to produce a targeted outcome or insight
Leading cross-functional projects to tackle operational problems as they arise
About you
You think in systems: you understand how pieces fit together, build reliable processes, and automate repetitive work
You think in terms of numbers and are comfortable in a wide range of analytical domains, whether that’s financial modeling, doing intermediate statistical analysis, reviewing the methodology of external vendors, or transforming raw data. You can spot inconsistencies quickly, and enjoy getting to the right answer. SQL experience strongly preferred (nice-to-have: analytics engineering experience)
You know how to use AI to improve efficiency, and enjoy experimenting with novel applications of the technology. Just as importantly, you know the limitations of AI and don't use it as a substitute for your own thinking
You learn fast. For example, you don't need to be an accountant, but you can learn the rules of accounting (or other specialist domains) and apply them to day-to-day problems
You are adept at managing vendors, building strong relationships, and holding them accountable when needed
You have strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail: you enjoy checking items off your checklist, and can seamlessly balance multiple threads of work
Minimum 3–5 years experience, preferably in a high-growth startup
Strong quantitative undergraduate degree (nice to have: MBA)
Based in the US, Canada, or UK
Low-ego attitude: no job should be too small or too large
Nice-to-have: some familiarity with accounting principles or coursework
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is $150K–$200K annually, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
Benefits
We offer meaningful equity and a comprehensive US benefits package, including fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days, flexible and unlimited paid time off including sick time, and an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
We're a global team (50% outside the US), fully distributed (from Thailand to California), who get things done asynchronously, with plenty of uninterrupted time, supporting each other to do the best work of our careers. We offer flexibility (define your own schedule and work from wherever you want), autonomy, and an environment that fosters growth, learning, and development. We're relentlessly user-focused and believe in building long-term value, not short-term hacks. And we raised a $30M Series B to take our approach to the next level for years to come.
For U.S. applicants: Metabase participates in the federal E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of newly hired U.S. based employees. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates and is only initiated upon hire.

An overview of this role
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll be the deepest technical voice in the field for one product group, helping customers make technical decisions on GitLab's most important opportunities, roughly the top 10% by size or complexity.
Account Solutions Architects (Account SAs) will bring you into prioritized opportunities. The Account SA owns the opportunity; you own your product group's success within it. You'll work directly with Product and Engineering, bringing customer needs and field insights into roadmap discussions. You'll also help the wider Solutions Architecture team build expertise through reusable assets, enablement, and coaching.
You'll specialize in one product group, not all four. In Security & Compliance, you'll focus on GitLab Ultimate, application security, Dependency Firewall, software supply chain security, compliance, and artificial intelligence (AI) governance. In Platform, you'll focus on GitLab Dedicated, self-managed deployments, bring your own model, and cloud and hybrid architecture. In Core DevSecOps, you'll focus on GitLab Premium, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), source code management, Orbit, Artifact Central, and migrations. DevSecOps brings development, security, and operations together across software delivery. In AI & Competitive, you'll focus on GitLab Duo Agent Platform, agentic workflows, AI-native development, competitive displacement including GitHub, and migrations.
Your success will be measured by technical win rate and bookings on SME-engaged opportunities, product-category commit attainment and consumption growth in your region, and Proof of Value (PoV) conversion rate, evaluation cycle time, and time from technical win to production use. We'll also measure how often Account SAs reuse your assets, their confidence in handling your product group without escalation, and the quality and impact of your feedback to Product.
What you’ll do
Act as the technical authority for your product group on prioritized opportunities, from discovery and architecture through trials and PoV evaluations.
Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings that connect product capabilities to business outcomes and explain how GitLab differs from competing solutions.
Design and improve standardized PoV templates with clear, repeatable success criteria. Account SAs own the customer PoV; you'll contribute product-specific content and expertise while keeping the evaluation connected to the broader GitLab platform.
Equip account teams for product launches with Product Management and Product Marketing. Build demos and talk tracks, and turn early customer wins into reference stories.
Serve as the escalation point for Account SAs and Post-Sales Solutions Architects (Post-Sales SAs) on complex product questions, integrations, and objections.
Hand off PoV success criteria and architecture decisions to the Post-Sales SA with the account team when an opportunity closes. Stay involved until the customer's first production workload uses the product, and support complex accounts when Post-Sales SAs bring you in to drive adoption and consumption.
Bring structured field feedback, competitive insights, and customer requirements to Product Management and Engineering with the wider SME team. Help manage early-access and design-partner programs, and represent GitLab through customer events, conferences, industry working groups, and published content.
Build reference architectures, demo environments, competitive battlecards, PoV playbooks, and enablement content so account teams can handle more opportunities without your direct involvement. Mentor Account SAs and contribute to GitLab's global SME community of practice.
What you’ll bring
Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering, with deep, hands-on expertise in one domain: application security testing, supply chain security, and compliance; scalable cloud and hybrid platforms; large CI/CD environments and source code migrations; or production AI-assisted development, working prototypes, and competitive evaluations.
Practical expertise in agentic and AI-assisted development workflows across planning, coding, testing, security, and delivery, applied in a customer-facing, pre-sales context.
Experience winning technical decisions on large, complex enterprise opportunities through structured Proof of Concept (PoC) or PoV evaluations with defined success criteria and executive sign-off.
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
The ability to lead a whiteboard session with engineers and present the business case to executives in the same meeting.
Strong written communication, including the ability to turn complex topics into clear playbooks that others use.
Comfort working asynchronously across time zones with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
Optional: public speaking, published technical content, open source contributions, or relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security.
If you bring transferable experience in an adjacent domain, we encourage you to apply.

Strengthen leadership capability, address performance gaps, and align recruiting capacity with business priorities.

Build the team’s ability to attract and close exceptional sellers and revenue leaders. Own delivery from hiring plan through accepted offer and start date, meeting ambitious goals for both quality and speed.

- You have been a trusted advisor to executives, shaping decisions and changing plans through your insight and judgment. You can credibly partner with C-Suite, RevOps, and Finance on workforce assumptions, translate them into achievable hiring commitments, and bring stakeholders into alignment.
- You bring deep expertise in attracting and closing revenue talent, alongside a clear view of how recruiting should evolve. You have improved hiring speed and efficiency through better processes, tools, and data, and can articulate where AI should change the work and where human judgment remains essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to partner with the Head of Talent in building and scaling ElevenLabs’ global Talent organization. You will help shape strategy, turn priorities into action, and lead work that requires deep talent expertise and focused execution. Your remit will span the entire Talent organization: GTM, G&A, and Technical recruiting, Talent Operations and Talent Programs. You will embed with teams where additional leadership or expertise can accelerate progress, and own high visibility projects sponsored by the Head of Talent and senior leadership across ElevenLabs.
- Turn Talent strategy into execution. Partner with the Head of Talent to identify priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate decisions into clear plans, owners, and outcomes. Bring an informed point of view on where the organization needs to invest or change, build alignment with Talent leaders and cross-functional partners, and follow through to delivery.
- Embed where you can make the greatest difference. Step into teams or initiatives that need additional leadership, expertise, or execution capacity. Diagnose what is holding progress back and take responsibility for improving it, whether that means leading a hiring initiative, strengthening a process, or supporting a function through change. Build capability as you go, with clear ownership and a sustainable handover.
- Lead high visibility projects from idea to outcome. Own strategic initiatives sponsored by the Head of Talent and other senior leaders, such as new sourcing experiments and targeted talent campaigns. Turn early ideas into focused experiments, lead the execution, and use evidence to decide what to scale, adapt, or stop.
- Improve how the Talent organization works together. Partner with Talent leaders to resolve issues that cut across teams, improve decision-making, and share effective practices. Use hiring data and direct experience to identify opportunities, and help turn successful approaches into repeatable ways of working, including better use of tools and AI.
REQUIREMENTS
- You bring deep talent expertise and have helped a global organization navigate hypergrowth at scale, including hundreds to thousands of hires annually across multiple regions and time zones. You understand what needs to evolve as hiring volume, team size, and business complexity increase.
- You are equally comfortable shaping strategy and delivering the work yourself. You can advise an executive on a difficult tradeoff, build a plan from an ambiguous brief, and go deep into a search, process, or team to understand and solve the underlying problem.
- You have led teams, functions, or complex talent initiatives with clear accountability for results. You can earn trust quickly, lead through influence or direct ownership, and strengthen the teams you support. You bring the judgment to know when to step in, when to coach, and when to hand ownership back.
- You have delivered high visibility projects with senior executive stakeholders, bringing structure, pace, and sound judgment to evolving priorities. You can challenge an idea constructively, test it pragmatically, and communicate clearly about progress, results, and decisions needed.
