Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo Our Global Structure Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team. About the Team Our global Legal team has built a strong reputation within the company for our highly collaborative and supportive approach to counseling, always with a bias for action. We are a diverse group of lawyers and legal professionals with a shared passion for providing creative, best-in-class service to our business partners. The Competition & Litigation team advises DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo on antitrust, competition, and litigation matters across every market we operate in. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Counsel, Competition & Litigation to join our growing Legal team and work globally across the DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo brands. Reporting to the Director, Competition & Litigation, you’ll be a generalist antitrust attorney who can move fast: advising product and business teams in real time, supporting M&A and strategic investments alongside our Corporate Development team, and driving forward regulatory investigations and inquiries, with a particular focus on Europe. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our London HQ or Brussels office for a minimum of 3 days a week. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Serve as a trusted antitrust/competition advisor to product, business, and corporate development teams, delivering fast, practical counsel that lets the business move with velocity while properly managing risk. Advise on the competition and antitrust dimensions of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and commercial partnerships, partnering closely with Corporate Development and our sales teams. Manage antitrust and competition regulatory investigations and inquiries globally. Help build out DoorDash’s international competition compliance program, partnering with the Director, Competition & Litigation on training, policies, and processes across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. Support competition-related litigation matters as needed, including document collection and review, witness preparation, and responses to third-party subpoenas. Partner with policy and government relations teams to track legal and regulatory developments that could affect the business. We’re excited about you because… You are a qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or bring similar qualifications in another European jurisdiction) with significant experience providing strategic legal advice to international businesses. You have 7+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a strong grounding in antitrust/competition law as a generalist — spanning M&A counseling, litigation, and regulatory/government investigations. You have experience advising on competition issues in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments, including regulatory filings and clearance strategy. You have experience handling antitrust/competition regulatory inquiries or investigations, ideally including direct engagement with regulators such as the European Commission, UK CMA, DOJ, FTC, or other competition authorities. You’re comfortable operating as a generalist across a broad portfolio — you don’t need deep pre-existing expertise in every sub-area, but you can quickly get up to speed and give practical, business-minded advice. You’re an excellent product counselor: able to translate complex antitrust concepts into clear, fast, actionable guidance for product and business teams. You’re comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems, and can navigate the added complexity of advising across three global brands (DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo). You have strong organizational skills and can juggle multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving environment, both independently and as part of a team. You’re an outstanding communicator, both orally and in writing, with sound judgment on when to escalate and when to move forward independently. Why Join Us? At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. You operate with full commercial autonomy: advancing expansion opportunities independently, engaging VP and C-suite stakeholders as a trusted advisor, and managing complex renewals without escalation. Beyond your own book, you raise the bar for the team through mentorship, playbook contributions, and peer enablement. How we’re using AI today Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here. This is a remote opportunity within the UK. Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto. What you can expect: OWN AND GROW YOUR BOOK OF BUSINESS - Independently manage a portfolio of moderately to highly complex accounts – adapting success plans to each customer’s context without manager guidance. - Maintain full success plan coverage; produce documented best practices and playbooks, applied broadly across accounts with measurable KPI improvement. - Proactively identify and mitigate renewal risks; close risk CTAs with a high rate of success within defined timeframes. DRIVE ADOPTION & VALUE REALIZATION - Achieve strong Executive Sponsor attendance in EBRs across segments; EBRs are value-driven, data-backed, and consistently advance renewal confidence. - Maintain commercial intelligence across strategic accounts – budget cycles, org changes, compliance mandates, and stack rationalization. - Translate advanced 1Password capabilities into clear outcomes for VP and C-suite stakeholders; tie adoption to measurable ROI and long-term advocacy. LEAD REVENUE RETENTION & EXPANSION - Achieve strong amendment and renewal upsell win rates; proactively source and advance expansion opportunities with documented context. - Maintain forecasting hygiene with minimal blank or unmodified renewals approaching subscription end. OPERATE WITH STRATEGIC RIGOR - Manage commercial objections, renewal negotiations, and competitive conversations independently – without escalation for standard to complex scenarios. - Build and present business cases to customer champions; advance deals with enough depth to move through the pipeline with AE alignment. ACT AS A TRUSTED SECURITY ADVISOR - Deep working knowledge of the full 1Password product suite; design tailored success journeys connecting feature adoption to measurable business outcomes. - Incorporate regulatory context, breach patterns, and competitive dynamics into EBRs with confidence. - Design and share AI-assisted workflows with teammates in a replicable, documented format. COLLABORATE & ENABLE - Lead joint account planning with your AE; cited by AEs as a proactive commercial collaborator who improves deal outcomes. - Mentor Level B CSMs through call shadowing, ad hoc coaching, or onboarding support. - Lead or co-lead cross-team initiatives; contribute tools or improvements adopted by peers. MONTH 1 – ONBOARDING & FOUNDATION - Develop fluency in 1Password’s full product suite, CS methodology, and commercial motion. - By the end of Month 1, you will independently manage customer touchpoints and demonstrate clear understanding of renewal drivers across your portfolio. MONTH 3 – PORTFOLIO OWNERSHIP - Full ownership of your book with consistent EBR cadence and expansion sourcing. - By Month 3, you are meeting key performance targets and expansion leads are flowing to Sales with documented context. MONTH 6 – STRATEGIC IMPACT - Operating at full commercial autonomy; contributing to team practices and mentoring peers. - By Month 6, you are achieving top-tier customer satisfaction and recognized as a reliable commercial collaborator by your AE and cross-functional partners. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others. Our approach to work We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement. For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. Be yourself, find your people and share the things you love. Accommodation is available upon request at any point during our recruitment process. If you require an accommodation, please speak to your talent acquisition partner or email us at nextbit@agilebits.com and we’ll work to meet your needs. Remote work is a part of our DNA. Given that our company was founded remotely in 2005, we can safely say we're experts at building remote culture. That said, remote work at 1Password does mean working from your home country. If you've got questions or concerns about this, your talent partner would be happy to address them with you. Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check that may consist of prior employment verification, reference checks, education confirmation, criminal background, publicly available social media, credit history, or other information, as permitted by local law. 1Password uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, including natural language processing and predictive analytics, to assist in the initial screening of employment applications and improve our recruitment process. Location: Yerevan, Armenia Problem Space Logistics operations today are still largely: manual reactive fragmented across tools running on incomplete or late data full of conflicting constraints under real-time decision pressure driven by evolving business rules a mix of legacy and new systems Much of this is unstructured: emails, documents, free-text updates, exceptions nobody modelled. That is where AI changes the game. We’re building a system that: ingests real-time operational data, structured and unstructured supports planning and execution decisions, with AI agents that act where it’s safe and hand over to humans where it isn’t adapts to constantly changing constraints What You’ll Work On AI in production. Building LLM- and agent-powered features into production .NET services: tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval over operational data, document and message understanding. The seams. Designing the boundaries between deterministic business logic and probabilistic AI: validation, fallbacks, human-in-the-loop. Trust. Making AI measurable and trustworthy: evals, test sets, observability, guardrails and cost/latency budgets. Ownership. Owning features end to end, from problem framing with product to running them in production. Design Principles keep things simple before scalable prefer explicit logic over magic abstractions, and that includes AI: deterministic where you can, model where you must optimize for change, not perfection (models, prompts and providers will change) measure AI behaviour, don’t trust vibes avoid “framework-driven architecture” accept that some parts will be ugly, temporarily Tech Stack .NET · Vue.js · service-oriented architecture · relational + operational data storage · cloud-based infrastructure · LLM APIs and agent tooling (e.g. Semantic Kernel / Microsoft.Extensions.AI, MCP) · vector/semantic search · eval and tracing tools How We Build AI-native development is the default. You use coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot) every day. You own what you ship, whoever typed it: you review AI-generated code critically, test it and understand it. What We Expect Strong, senior-level .NET engineering Ability to navigate uncertainty and work in ambiguity Willingness to challenge decisions Focus on outcomes, not just code Understanding of trade-offs and complex systems, including when not to use AI Preferring ownership over comfort Strong Plus Having shipped LLM/AI features to production and kept them running Experience with evals, prompt/version management or AI observability Python for prototyping and data work Logistics or other real-time operations domain experience What You Won’t Find Here over-engineering everything upfront unnecessary microservices “clean architecture” for the sake of it process-heavy development AI demos that never reach production wrapping a chatbot around a problem and calling it solved

Growth mindset: A track record of using design, growth frameworks, conversion rate optimisation, and funnel analysis to improve outcomes such as leads, conversion, trials, activation, or revenue. Experimentation: Experience designing and iterating on experiments, including A/B tests or other data-informed approaches. B2B SaaS experience is a plus. Craft and taste: Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with a sharp eye for typography, hierarchy, detail, and polish. Systems and brand: Comfortable working within an existing design system and brand, while identifying opportunities to extend and improve it. AI fluency: Experience using AI in your design practice, including tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Figma Make, or similar. You should be able to explain how AI has changed your workflow and what you have built or shipped with it. Ownership: Able to take a brief and run with it. You work independently, make good decisions, ask the right questions, and bring solutions rather than just options. Who this role is not for This role is not for you if: You only want to design campaign or marketing pages from a fixed brief. This role owns the journey from first visit through to lead, demo, signup, or trial. You care about visual polish but not about comprehension, navigation, forms, interactive demos, or reducing friction. You don’t want to work with funnel data, user research, experimentation, or the realities of implementation. You want to focus on brand expression without balancing it with usability, accessibility, performance, and measurable growth. You need a fixed roadmap and detailed requirements rather than identifying opportunities and shaping what the team should test next. You’re not interested in working closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, Data, Research, and Engineering to make the website perform better. What success looks like You’ll know you’re successful if: More visitors understand Fin and Intercom, find the right path for their needs, and take the next step with less friction. You’ve improved meaningful growth outcomes across qualified leads, demo engagement, signups, and trial starts. Experiments are well designed, clearly measured, and used to inform what the team does next. You’ve made complex product value easier to understand and act on without relying on extra explanation from Sales or Marketing. You’ve built strong working relationships with Growth, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Sales, and Customer Success. You’ve raised the bar for web growth design through thoughtful, high-quality experiences that people trust and want to use. Interview process We understand that interviewing for a new role is both time- and energy-consuming. We aim to be thorough, speedy, and transparent in our approach. You should expect the entire process to take no more than four weeks from start to finish. You’ll meet with members of our team and have the opportunity to validate that Intercom and the role are the right fit for you. Ready to build something great?
