ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
The AI ecosystem is being built by many companies at once: model labs creating increasingly capable models, hyperscalers providing infrastructure and distribution, developers building new AI products, and a growing ecosystem of tools that agents can use.
Baseten sits at the center of that ecosystem as the inference platform developers use to run AI in production. Partner Engineering is how we connect those worlds.
As one of the first engineers focused on Partner Engineering at Baseten, you'll build the technical foundation behind some of our most strategic relationships. You'll work directly with engineers at leading model labs, hyperscalers, developer platforms, and AI infrastructure companies to turn partnerships into products developers can actually use.
You don't need a previous partner engineering title. We want an engineer who enjoys working directly with another company's technical team and carrying the resulting product decisions into production at Baseten.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
- Bring new capabilities into Baseten. Integrate a search or developer-tools provider into Baseten so an agent can call the service during inference, with consistent authentication, execution, failure handling, observability, and usage reporting.
- Take Baseten into new distribution channels. Integrate Baseten with a hyperscaler, cloud marketplace, or developer platform so customers can discover models, provision access, and run inference through a partner's product while Baseten handles the underlying serving infrastructure.
- Launch models with leading model labs. Build the infrastructure that lets developers discover and run a model lab's newest models on Baseten, including access controls, usage attribution, metering, and the systems required to support commercial agreements such as revenue sharing.
- Create the partner platform itself. Identify the primitives common across these integrations and turn them into reusable platform capabilities so we can launch increasingly sophisticated partnerships without reinventing the stack every time.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Lead strategic partner integrations from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, launch, and production operation.
- Work directly with partner engineering teams to design APIs, define system boundaries, resolve cross-company dependencies, and make architectural decisions.
- Write substantial production code and own the systems you build.
- Build reusable partner-platform primitives across identity, provisioning, inference, model serving, metering, billing, and other Baseten platform capabilities.
- Own technical delivery across Baseten and partner teams, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and architectural tradeoffs.
- Work closely with Partnerships and Product to understand where the ecosystem is going and translate emerging opportunities into platform investments.
- Raise the bar for integration reliability through strong API contracts, testing, observability, safe rollouts, and thoughtful failure handling.
- Help define what Partner Engineering becomes at Baseten as both the team and our ecosystem grow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience designing, shipping, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production. You can explain the architectural choices you made and how they meet customers' needs at scale.
- A record of leading ambiguous engineering projects across teams while contributing substantial production code yourself.
- Sound judgment about API design, service boundaries, and failure handling. You've built systems that uphold API contracts and meet measurable service-level objectives that customers and partners depend on.
- Experience turning requests from customers, partners, or other engineering teams into a defined technical scope. You can explain a constraint, propose an alternative, and document the decision.
- Comfort working across application code and cloud infrastructure, including debugging behavior that crosses service boundaries.
NICE TO HAVE
- Product integrations with cloud providers, developer platforms, or other infrastructure companies.
- Usage metering, marketplace infrastructure, or commerce systems that support relationships among multiple parties.
- Model serving or other artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure used in production.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.

This is a hands-on technical management role: you'll manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, stay close to code and configuration, and also own a small set of adjacent RevOps tools that round out the GTM systems stack. You'll report to the Director, Business Systems and partner closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Security leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, including hiring, performance management, career development, and day-to-day prioritization of their work
- Own the Salesforce platform roadmap across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and integrated third-party systems, balancing production support, technical debt reduction, and net-new delivery
- Stay hands-on with architecture and code review for Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow automation, and platform security, guiding your team's technical decisions rather than delegating them entirely
- Own the Salesforce DevOps and release management lifecycle: Gearset administration, source control, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, deployment governance, and production change management, including planning around end-of-quarter production freezes
- Pair heavily with the Technical Architect to execute against their architectural roadmap, with dotted-line accountability for delivering their priorities through your team while retaining direct management authority over your reports
- Maintain governance over Salesforce data architecture, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and integration/service account hygiene across connected systems
- Own or co-own supporting integrations between Salesforce and platforms
- Own a set of adjacent RevOps tools outside Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Gong, Loom) and coordinate with other owners
- Manage Agentforce, Slackbot, AI skills, and other AI-driven Salesforce offerings, and evaluate new AI-driven workflow opportunities on the platform
- Partner with GTM stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions delivered by your team
- Set team standards for documentation, testing, and change management, and enforce operating rules for high-risk changes (e.g., Closed/Won opportunity edits, ownership changes) to protect data integrity and downstream automation
- Escalate and resolve complex production issues, serving as the team's senior technical point of contact
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years total hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments and people management

NICE TO HAVE
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, or Salesforce Administrator certification
- Familiarity with NetSuite and quote-to-cash business processes and Mulesoft
- Familiarity with data warehousing, analytics, or AI-driven workflows
- Experience supporting global sales organizations
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS:
- Meet your direct reports and the broader Business Systems team; build 1:1 cadences
- Assess team workload, skill gaps, and open production support items

About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.

Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

Attio is the CRM for agentic revenue. Designed for the most ambitious go-to-market teams, it gives companies the power to understand every customer, automate at scale, and build their go-to-market motion exactly as they need. We've raised $116M from some of the world's best investors: GV (Google Ventures), Redpoint, Balderton, Point Nine, and 01A.
We hire builders who thrive on complex technical challenges, hold themselves to a high bar, and genuinely care about delighting the people who use what they build. The team here brings sharp judgement, real craft, and the drive to do exceptional work. We're obsessed about the details and energized by the frontier.
If you want to do the best work of your career, this is the right place.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Support team is at the heart of Attio’s customer experience — maintaining an exceptional 98% CSAT average over the past six months. We hold ourselves to an incredibly high standard at every stage of the customer journey, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to clarity, care, and quality.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you’ll be the trusted voice of Attio to our customers — helping them solve problems, unlock value, and feel supported every step of the way. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, share product best practices, and act as the customer’s advocate across teams.
This is a role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, loves getting into the details, and finds genuine satisfaction in turning a complex issue into a seamless experience. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the standards that make our customers love Attio — and help us set a new benchmark for excellence in B2B SaaS support.
This is Attio’s first hire in the APAC region, offering a unique opportunity to help establish our presence in Australia. As such, we’re looking for a self-starter who’s comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the technical and operational processes that keep our customers successful. You’ll combine empathy, product expertise, and clear communication to deliver best-in-class support.
Customer support excellence: Provide fast, high-quality support across email, chat, and video, maintaining strong CSAT and meeting SLAs across APAC hours.
Advanced technical troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Attio’s API (REST payloads, authentication, error handling), webhooks, SDKs, and integrations — identifying root causes rather than surface-level fixes.
Multi-system debugging: Investigate issues spanning Attio and third-party platforms, interpreting logs, error outputs, and system behaviours to triage effectively before escalating to Engineering.
Automation & workflow support: Advise on and troubleshoot customer-built automations (e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n), diagnosing failures and recommending improvements, while supporting equivalent builds within Attio’s native workflows.
AI & integrations support: Troubleshoot MCP server connections and support customers integrating Attio into AI-powered workflows and toolchains.
Autonomous regional ownership: Act as the primary technical support contact for APAC, independently managing a wide range of queries — from foundational product questions to complex technical investigations.
Customer advocacy: Surface recurring issues, patterns, and product feedback from the APAC region, acting as the voice of the customer to Support, Product, and Engineering.
Process and knowledge improvement: Contribute to Help Center content, internal documentation, and support workflows, continuously improving how we operate.
Product mastery: Build deep expertise in Attio’s product, APIs, and integrations, staying ahead of new features to support customers with confidence.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for a customer-obsessed problem solver who combines technical curiosity with empathy and a love for helping others succeed.
Proven experience: 2+ years in a technical support or customer support role within SaaS, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
Strong technical depth: Experience troubleshooting APIs, integrations, and workflows; comfortable working with logs, debugging issues, and understanding system behaviour.
Automation experience: Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n — either supporting customers or building automations directly.
AI & modern tooling curiosity: Experience with AI-powered workflows and emerging technologies.
Independent operator: Comfortable working autonomously, making decisions, and managing complex issues without constant oversight.
Excellent communication: Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
Customer empathy: Strong instinct for understanding customer needs and delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions.
Curiosity and initiative: Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously learn and improve.
Collaborative mindset: Works effectively with Support, Product, and Engineering to deliver a seamless customer experience.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Equity in an early-stage tech company on an incredible trajectory
- 12% Superannuation contribution
- 25 days holiday plus local public holidays
- Apple hardware
- Enhanced family leave
- Team off-site in fun places! (We've been to Barcelona, Lisbon, Malta, and Split so far)
WHAT DOES THE HIRING PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
Applicants can expect the following:
- Initial Conversations
- 30-minute introductory chat with a member of our Talent team
- 30-minute track record interview with our Technical Support Specialist Manager
- Core Interviews
- Take-home technical exercise
- 45-minute team panel interview to assess skills and collaboration style
