From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

Conduct research on pricing strategies, packaging models, and monetization approaches across comparable and adjacent markets.
Lead pricing and packaging strategy for new product launches, partnering with Product, GTM, and Finance to define commercial models
Build value-based pricing and econometric models to quantify elasticity, customer ROI, and lifetime value.
Design and execute pricing experiments
Synthesize quantitative analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence into executive recommendations that influence pricing strategy.
Drive customer and prospect research to understand purchasing behavior, value perception, and pricing friction.
Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Legal to deliver end-to-end pricing initiatives.
Define KPIs and dashboards that measure pricing performance and identify optimization opportunities.
Continuously evolve our pricing and packaging strategy to improve ARR growth, customer adoption, and value realization.
Skills We’re Looking For
5–8 years designing or operating SaaS or sophisticated B2C pricing models, preferably with usage‑based or behavioral pricing experience
Deep quantitative chops—an advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Math, or similar
Fluency in SQL and Python for large‑scale data analysis; proficiency with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau; bonus for dbt
Hands‑on experience with conjoint, MaxDiff, Gabor-Granger, or Van Westendorp surveys and causal experiment design
Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills – including interpreting results and recommending actions
Proven record of turning complex models and analyses into recommendations and shipping changes that moved ARR, gross margin, or NRR

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Security Engineer to own and strengthen the security of our corporate technology environment. This is a hands-on role spanning identity and access management, endpoint security, SaaS security, Zero Trust, security automation, and incident response.
You’ll work closely with Security, IT, Engineering, and business teams to build secure, scalable systems and automate the controls that protect our people, devices, applications, and data.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
IDENTITY & ACCESS MANAGEMENT
- Own and strengthen identity and access controls across our corporate environment, with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID.
- Implement and maintain SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
- Build and improve automated joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) workflows.
- Regularly review permissions, privileged access, and authentication policies to reduce unnecessary access and security risk.
- Help establish identity as the foundation of our Zero Trust security model.
ENDPOINT SECURITY
- Manage and improve endpoint security through Microsoft Intune/MDM, device compliance policies, and endpoint protection tooling.
- Deploy and maintain EDR capabilities across the corporate fleet.
- Establish and enforce security baselines for employee devices.
- Investigate endpoint security events and remediate compromised or non-compliant devices.
SAAS & CORPORATE APPLICATION SECURITY
- Assess and improve the security posture of corporate SaaS applications.
- Partner with application owners to implement appropriate authentication, authorization, provisioning, and data-access controls.
- Identify shadow IT, excessive permissions, insecure configurations, and other SaaS-related risks.
- Help establish scalable security standards for onboarding and managing new corporate applications.
ZERO TRUST & CORPORATE ACCESS
- Design and implement Zero Trust principles across identity, endpoints, applications, and corporate access.
- Strengthen controls around privileged access, remote access, and access to sensitive systems.
- Apply practical security controls that balance strong protection with employee productivity.
SECURITY AUTOMATION
- Automate repetitive security and IT workflows using scripts, APIs, and integrations.
- Build tooling to automate access reviews, provisioning, compliance checks, alert enrichment, remediation, and other security processes.
- Use scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript to improve security operations and reduce manual work.
- Look for opportunities to turn manual security processes into scalable, reliable systems.
DETECTION & INCIDENT RESPONSE
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across identity, endpoint, and corporate systems.
- Perform initial investigation and triage of suspicious activity and potential security incidents.
- Support incident containment, remediation, and post-incident improvements.
- Build lightweight detections and alerts for meaningful risks within the corporate environment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong hands-on experience with identity and access management, ideally within Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience implementing or managing SSO/SAML, SCIM, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and JML workflows.
- Experience with MDM and endpoint security, ideally Microsoft Intune and modern EDR tooling.
- Understanding of SaaS and corporate application security.
- Experience implementing or operating within a Zero Trust security model.
- Ability to automate workflows using scripts and APIs, with experience in a language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of security detection, investigation, and incident response.
- Strong security judgment — you can distinguish theoretical risk from meaningful business risk and prioritize accordingly.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Builder mindset: you look for ways to automate, simplify, and improve systems rather than relying on manual processes.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with reverse engineering, CTFs, security competitions, or similar hands-on security challenges.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, network segmentation, authentication protocols, and common lateral-movement techniques.
- Experience securing rapidly scaling or highly technical organizations.

- Send RFIs to customers or partners where additional information is needed to resolve an alert or application and follow through to receipt and documentation of the response
- Support periodic KYC refresh reviews on existing customers as part of the Company's ongoing due diligence program
- Contribute to onboarding and investigation policy development - if you see a gap, flag it and propose a solution
- Stay current on FinCEN advisories, FATF typologies, and emerging financial crime trends relevant to Rain's product set - including stablecoin, virtual asset, and agentic payment typologies
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in a compliance, KYC, AML Investigations or onboarding role at a FinTech, payments company, or crypto company
- Demonstrated experience reviewing KYB applications for business entities including beneficial ownership analysis, entity structure review, and corporate document verification
- Experience with OFAC, PEP, and adverse media screening tools - comfortable making independent screening determinations and documenting your reasoning
- Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end AML investigations and preparing SAR-quality case documentation
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML program requirements and FinCEN SAR filing rules
- Experience with transaction monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools and on-chain transaction analysis
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you manage multiple applications simultaneously without losing attention to detail
- A do-er mentality - you are self-directed, take ownership of your queue, and do not wait to be told what to do next
- CAMS certification or progress toward certification is a plus
What Success Looks Like
- Your alert queue is current - SLA compliance above 95% consistently
- Your case documentation is complete and independently reviewable
- Your SAR narratives meet internal and FinCen quality standards on the first draft - minimal rework required from senior reviewers
