This role is responsible for portfolio of products across the data science lifecycle - identifying high-value analytical opportunities, shaping predictive and decision products, and ensuring they deliver measurable business outcomes through adoption, monitoring and continuous improvement. Drive product strategy and lifecycle ownership for player value and decision intelligence capabilities, such as CLV, engagement and forecasting, ensuring high quality products are advanced from discovery through productionization, adoption, monitoring, iteration, and long-term value realization.
Establish clear criteria for when analytical work should remain exploratory, become a recurring decision process, or graduate into a production-grade product.
Define success metrics and quality standards for data science products, including business impact, adoption, reliability, interpretability, model quality, operational sustainability, and decision quality.
Partner with Data Science and Analytics leaders to ensure rigor across experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, incrementality measurement, model evaluation, and value analysis, while promoting these approaches as core decision-making tools.
Influence senior stakeholders across functions to align strategy, clarify priorities, manage tradeoffs, and drive adoption of data science products.
Guide Product Managers across the product lifecycle while directly leading or sponsoring the organization's highest-impact and most ambiguous product initiatives.
Create a strong Data Science product culture centered on hypothesis-driven discovery, evidence-based prioritization, measurable business impact and close partnership with cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in digital product management, data product management, AI/ML product management, analytics product management, or related roles.

Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional portfolios involving Data Science, ML Engineering, Analytics, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders.
Strong understanding of data science and machine learning workflows, including experimentation, predictive modeling, forecasting, segmentation, recommender systems, lifecycle modeling, productionization, and monitoring.
Experience with products or capabilities related to CLV/LTV, personalization, churn, propensity modeling, forecasting, audience targeting, marketing optimization, commerce, or digital engagement.
Familiarity with modern data and ML ecosystems such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, Spark, feature stores, MLOps tools, model monitoring, APIs, and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business needs into product strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing product teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience in gaming, digital commerce, subscription, marketplace, streaming, or consumer technology businesses.
Deep experience with customer intelligence, player lifecycle analytics, personalization, experimentation, audience intelligence, or growth optimization.
Experience defining success metrics and quality standards for data science products, including adoption, reliability, latency, interpretability, fairness, model drift, and business impact.
Experience building product management capabilities, teams, or operating models from the ground up.

We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.

6+ years of hands-on engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineering teams
Experience building web applications and APIs on cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset
The ability to partner with non-technical business stakeholders and translate their workflows into effective technical solutions
Experience thriving in a startup or other fast-moving, high-accountability environment

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
ABOUT THE PUBLIC SECTOR TEAM
- Sierra recently received FedRAMP High https://sierra.ai/blog/certified-fedramp-high certification, enabling us to bring our industry-leading technology to partners in the US public sector. We’re now building our founding public sector team to redefine the relationship between the government and its citizenry.
- Today, our agents already enable citizens to access social services, report fraud, and understand complex government systems. Simultaneously, they empower government officials to better hear the concerns and inquiries of their constituencies.
- We are explicitly nonpartisan and committed to empowering public servants to leverage AI to advance their important missions.
- In our journey, we are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build enterprise-grade AI agents for government institutions: As an Agent Product Manager at Sierra, you will partner directly with our engineers and public sector customers to build and ship AI agents that serve people across high-stakes, mission-critical interactions. These agents will help constituents navigate complex programs, complete important tasks, and get timely, trustworthy support while meeting the security, accessibility, and reliability standards government work demands.
- Discover where agents can make the greatest impact: Ground-up discovery is a critical part of the role. Work closely with federal and state institutions to understand their missions, operating constraints, constituent needs, and service-delivery workflows. Identify and prioritize new opportunities for AI agents to improve access, responsiveness, and outcomes.
- Engage with customers at every level: Become a trusted advisor to public sector leaders and a hands-on partner to their working teams. Discover and assess requirements, prepare and present demonstrations, navigate technical and operational challenges with customer counterparts, and continuously improve agents to fit each institution’s policies and workflows.
- Own outcomes from concept through production: Translate mission goals into a clear product strategy, roadmap, and measurable definition of success. Coordinate across customer stakeholders, engineering, design, research, security, and operations to take agents from initial concept through launch and ongoing iteration.
- Shape the platform and public sector roadmap: Your direct work with government institutions will guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform. Surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development for the public sector.
- Help build Sierra’s public sector business: Partner closely with public sector leadership on market strategy, product investments, and repeatable approaches that allow the team to scale quickly while preserving the trust and craftsmanship our customers expect.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are examples of projects our healthcare team has worked on:
- Build agents that help people understand eligibility, apply for benefits, check case status, and navigate complex social-service programs.
- Develop secure reporting experiences that make it easier to report fraud, waste, abuse, or other concerns and route each submission appropriately.
- Create voice and chat agents that answer questions about licenses, permits, taxes, public records, and other high-volume government services across languages and channels.
- Design proactive and long-horizon agents that keep constituents informed, collect missing information, and guide them through multi-step government processes over time.
- Turn patterns in constituent conversations into actionable insights that help public officials understand emerging needs and improve service delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5-7+ years of experience developing highly technical products.
- Experience in Product Management or a similar product development role at or above the level of Senior Product Manager.
- A passion for public sector work and a belief in the potential of our institutions to transform outcomes for the people they serve.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs, navigate complex organizations, and solve real-world problems. A core part of the role is coordinating directly with public servants and technical stakeholders to understand their workflows.
- Experience crafting and tailoring messages for different audiences, including senior executives and public sector leaders.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to both non-technical and technically proficient audiences, including recent developments in AI.
- Strong product judgment and a track record of driving ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch and measurable impact.
- A degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM products, especially conversational or long-horizon agents, and familiarity with evaluation, retrieval, prompt engineering, or agent tooling.
- Experience with government technology or working with public sector institutions, including an understanding of procurement, regulation, security, accessibility, and patterns of partnership.
- A demonstrated track record of operating in ambiguity, for example as part of a founding team, a new initiative within a large organization, or a forward-deployed product or engineering team.
- Some coding experience with React, TypeScript, and Go, or experience prototyping technical products directly with engineers.
- An MBA or equivalent professional experience at the intersection of technology, operations, and strategy.
- Past roles that involved working directly with end customers to influence software development.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
WHAT WE OFFER
We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot
- Lunch, as well as delicious snacks and coffee to keep you energized

These benefits are further detailed in Sierra's policies, may vary by region, and are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefits plans. Eligible full-time employees can participate in Sierra's equity plans subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
BE YOU, WITH US
We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live
our values
every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.
How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote
Little more about the team:
The Storage Team at Honeycomb is the backbone of our platform, responsible for the performance, reliability, and scalability of storing and querying billions of events. We design and own the architecture that powers correct and dependable query results — enabling every product experience from Metrics to Triggers and SLOs. As a senior engineer on Storage, you’ll work on high-impact systems where our customers may never see your code directly, but they’ll rely on it every time they use Honeycomb.
What you’ll do in the role:
Build and deliver high-quality solutions. You will design and implement solutions that power Honeycomb’s query and data storage infrastructure. Whether it’s improving query performance, evolving the Retriever service, or making our storage layer more reliable, you’re eager to jump in and add value where the team needs it most.
Scope and deliver projects independently. You’re comfortable breaking down complex storage and querying problems into achievable steps, surfacing trade-offs, and pulling in teammates when needed. You take ownership end-to-end — from design to production support — reducing toil and ensuring our systems deliver measurable customer and business impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners. You’ll work closely with Product Management and other engineering teams to connect technical solutions to product needs, from problem discovery through solution design and delivery. Much of our work is behind the scenes, but it enables every Honeycomb product experience, from Metrics to Triggers and SLOs.
Support our services in production. We believe in owning the software we build. Every engineer on Storage participates in on-call rotations, helps define team KPIs and SLOs, and proactively reduces toil by addressing reliability challenges before they reach customers.
Learn new ways to solve complex problems. As Honeycomb grows, so do the challenges of scaling our systems. You will explore new technologies, data storage techniques, and query optimization strategies to keep performance and reliability strong at scale.
Thrive on collaboration. You enjoy pairing, reviewing code, and offering constructive feedback. You model strong ownership and help your teammates grow, while keeping conversations forward-looking and focused on business value.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Technical leadership in storage and querying. You’ve led the design of patterns and guidelines that improve performance and reliability, and you bring expertise in writing Go along with experience working on high-throughput or complex systems. Prior experience with database engineering is a plus, as is comfort with Kubernetes.
Curiosity and experimentation. You learn by digging in — individually, in pairs, or as a team. You ask questions to better understand complex systems, explore trade-offs, and believe in learning from incidents as a way to improve both technology and practices.
Focus on business outcomes. You tie technical decisions to customer and company impact, weighing whether work is necessary now or later, and considering how projects affect the broader business.
Strength in mentorship and teamwork. You guide engineers through code reviews and help spread knowledge across a team with diverse skillsets so that ownership of critical paths is shared, not siloed.
Resilience in collaboration. You thrive in a senior-heavy team, giving and receiving feedback with grace, and contributing to a culture where tough problems and hard conversations lead to better outcomes.
Execution with impact. You can scope and deliver complex, multi-team projects while balancing production realities, proactively reducing toil, and ensuring systems deliver measurable customer value.
Deep debugging expertise. You’re trusted to diagnose and resolve the toughest production issues across the stack, restoring reliability where others may be stuck.
Influence beyond your team. You multiply impact by sharing knowledge, guiding adoption of new technologies, and driving foundational work that benefits Honeycomb engineering as a whole.

500M+ downloads. 80M+ monthly users. A decade of building – and we’re still accelerating.
Flo is the world’s #1 health & fitness app worldwide on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 – and we’re not slowing down.
With 7M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store’s health category, we’ve spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we’re building the next generation of digital health – AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed – to help our users know their body better.
The job
We’re looking for a Creative leader who can turn creativity into a growth engine. You’ll own creative strategy end to end - from brand and big ideas to performance, production and AI - and lead a 20-person creative team to deliver work that moves both culture and business metrics. You’ll unlock new audiences, build a faster and smarter production engine, and bring creative closer to the heart of growth decisions. If you believe creativity should be bold, measurable and built for impact - this role is for you.
What you will own
Creative strategy end to end: the brand platform and the thousands of assets that run against it, from CTV and upper-funnel video through paid social, search, web funnels, app store and lifecycle.
Business outcomes. CPA, subscription rate and payback are partly creative variables. You carry them alongside acquisition, you sit where budget is set, and you present the creative case to the executive team and the board.
Unlock new audiences. Build the repeatable route in: insight, territory, batch production, structured testing on ring-fenced budget, then scale.
The production engine, around 20 people across creative strategy, motion, design, UGC and production ops. Faster cycles, sharper briefs, and a written rule for what gets hand-crafted, templated or generated. Cost per asset and cycle time are KPIs.
AI in production. Generative tools are already live here and some of our strongest performers are AI-made. Push much further, and decide where human craft stays non-negotiable.
The measurement system itself. Creative performance sits in disconnected per-platform dashboards today, so a single comparable view of every asset is an early priority.
Experience and skills
You have led creative in customer facing tech where performance marketing is the main growth engine, and you can hold your own on incrementality, pROAS and LTV/CAC.
You can state what your creative was worth to your last business, and show the evidence.
You are equally credible on brand, and can write a positioning that survives contact with a media plan.
You are AI-first in practice, not in theory: shipped work, opinions on tooling, and the quality and disclosure calls made yourself.
You are comfortable pushing the boundaries, failing at times and being innovative.
You build teams people stay on, set the bar high and focus on coaching for strong outcomes.

£150,000 GBP
How we work
We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar.
You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.
What you'll get
We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:
Competitive salary and annual reviews
Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme
Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave
Enhanced parental leave and pay for maternity, paternity, same-sex and adoptive parents
Accelerated professional growth through world-changing work and learning support
In-person collaboration and work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week spent in the office
5-week fully paid sabbatical at 5-year Floversary
Flo Premium for friends & family, plus more health, pension and wellbeing perks

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is reimagining how customers adopt, expand, and realize value from software in an AI-native world. As a first-line leader directly managing a team of Outcomes Architects, you’ll own your team’s execution across workflow adoption, value realization, renewal readiness, expansion qualification, and at-risk account recovery — accountable for both the customer outcomes and the quality of execution that produces them.
This isn’t a traditional Customer Success management role. The best OA Managers are coaches first: they know what great workflow discovery looks like, can review a mutual success plan and identify where value realization is breaking down, can inspect an executive business review and sharpen the value narrative, and can help an OA turn account activity into measurable customer and commercial outcomes.
You’ll run an inspection cadence and cultivate a coaching culture that make consistent execution possible across the team. You’ll partner closely with Solutions Consultant leaders, Sales, Services, Support, Product, and RevOps to ensure customers move from workflow design to adoption, value realization, expansion, and renewal readiness.
If you’re a builder who loves developing people as much as driving customer impact — and you want to lead a team in a post-sales motion that’s being redefined for the AI era — this is the role.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Own the Net Revenue Growth performance of your team’s book of business, accountable for both headline outcomes and the quality of execution that drives workflow adoption, value realization, renewal readiness, and expansion.
- Coach OAs on the OA builder motion: AI Transformation Plans, build-beside workshops, value reviews, use-case consultations, and renewal processes.
- Build and run the operating cadence for the team: metrics reviews, account support sessions, adoption and renewal-risk reviews, call coaching against the OA quality rubric, and forecast calls with senior leadership.
- Hire, onboard, and certify new OAs to the GTM builder motion, driving readiness from ramp through consistent execution and managing performance with clarity when expectations are not met.
- Partner closely with Solutions Consultant managers and leaders on strategy for expansion and renewal across shared accounts, ensuring clear ownership for flat and at-risk renewals.
- Partner with Services leadership to identify complex implementation needs early, create clear handoffs, and ensure Services delivery accelerates workflow adoption and measurable value.
- Set the standard for product, AI, and workflow fluency across the team so OAs can help customers navigate new ways of working and build durable systems in Notion.
- Represent your team or region in leadership forums with clear signal on what's working, what needs investment, and where execution is breaking down
- Uphold excellence by coaching to the global OA methodology, quality rubric, and activity KPIs.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Frontline management experience leading customer-facing GTM teams in B2B software, ideally across Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Account Management, or post-sales strategy.
- Direct experience coaching teams through customer discovery, workflow design, adoption planning, value realization, renewals, expansion, or technical/workflow implementation.
- Strong coaching orientation: you can review a customer call, account plan, mutual success plan, or executive value narrative and identify specifically what needs to change — not just whether the outcome was good, but why and how to improve it.
- Commercial instincts at the team level: able to read account health, renewal risk, adoption depth, expansion potential, and customer sentiment, then drive urgency without micromanaging every account.
- Deep customer-facing discovery instincts, with the ability to understand business problems, map workflows, and translate goals into practical adoption and implementation plans.
- Experience operating in a shared account ownership model with Sales, Solutions, Services, Support, or Implementation teams.
- Operational rigor: you know how to build inspection cadences, coaching rituals, performance standards, and accountability systems that improve execution across a team.
- Ability to develop talent from onboarding through consistent performance, including hiring to profile, setting clear expectations, coaching skill gaps, and managing performance with clarity.
- Executive communication skills: able to synthesize account patterns, customer risks, team performance, and cross-functional asks into clear signal for leadership.
- Technical fluency and presence as a trusted advisor. You do not need to build every workflow yourself, but you should be able to understand Notion systems, coach workflow design, and help your team troubleshoot adoption blockers.
- You operate with agency, urgency, and customer empathy, bringing structure to ambiguous problems and helping teams move from ideas to working systems.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious, hands-on, and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter, coach better, and help customers deliver better outcomes.
- Fluent in English and French
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience managing in a consumption, usage-based, or product-led business where adoption signals matter as much as renewal or expansion outcomes.
- Track record building high-performing frontline teams from an early stage: hiring to profile, structured onboarding, certification, coaching, and performance management.
- Experience leading teams through GTM motion changes, coverage-model shifts, or evolving commercial ownership.
- Experience working with flat, at-risk, or complex renewal accounts and helping teams return customers to a clear value path.
- Experience partnering closely with Solutions Consulting, Sales, Services, or Implementation teams in a shared customer lifecycle model.
- Familiarity with AI transformation, workflow automation, agents, or collaboration/work management software.
By clicking “Submit Application,” I understand and agree that Notion and its affiliates and subsidiaries will collect and process my information in accordance with Notion’s Global Recruiting Privacy Policy.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.
Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on.
dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights.
Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer on the Cloud Clients team, you’ll own end-to-end delivery across the surfaces where dbt developers do their work:
dbt Studio in the browser, the dbt VS Code extension, and the CLI workspace runtime that powers both
.
You’ll help build dbt’s
AI-native developer experience
, including agent workflows, diff review, streaming tool calls, charts and rich outputs for conversational analytics, and MCP apps that bring dbt projects directly into tools like Claude and Codex. This is a true full-stack role: you’ll work across
Python, TypeScript, React, and Kubernetes
, with the expectation that you can take a feature from schema and service design through to the final pixel without a handoff
What you’ll do
Own parts of the CLI workspace runtime that backs both surfaces, including migrating users off our legacy IDE and enabling asynchronous, background agent runs.
Design and build agent-facing experiences: streaming responses, transparent tool calls, diff review, and charting / rich output for conversational analytics.
Extend dbt into other developer surfaces — MCP integrations that make dbt projects usable directly from AI clients like Claude and Codex.
Lead well-scoped projects end to end: write the plan, partner with design and product, ship in two-week increments, and measure whether it worked.
Share oncall and customer support for your surfaces, and mentor engineers earlier in their careers.
Skills we are looking for
8+ years building production software, including senior-level ownership of projects that ran for months and involved several people.
Deep Python experience plus exposure to TypeScript and React experience — you move across the stack without waiting for a handoff.
Built and maintained something other developers depend on: an IDE, an editor extension, a CLI, an SDK, an LSP server, or a data tool.
Comfort with the operational side of shipping — APIs, Kubernetes, Postgres, observability — and with being on the hook when something breaks.
Strong written communication: you can make a technical argument in a document and bring people along.
Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
Bonus points for
Shipped LLM- or agent-powered features to production, with real opinions on evaluation, latency, cost, and where models fall down.
Worked with the Language Server Protocol, Monaco, CodeMirror, or other code-editor internals.
Hands-on dbt, SQL, or data warehouse experience (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
Migrated users off a legacy product surface and decommissioned it without breaking them.
Go, Rust, or systems-level performance experience.

Our Customer Outcomes team turns blockchain intelligence into operational capability for our customers. We work with financial institutions, crypto businesses, regulators, and law enforcement agencies across EMEA. We combine technical depth with commercial judgment, owning the customer relationship from early sales engagements through renewal and expansion. It's a small, high-ownership team where individual impact is visible.
As a Deployment Strategist, you own the pre and post-sale relationship for a portfolio of strategic accounts in West and Southern Africa. You lead deployments, drive adoption, and act as the technical advisor customers rely on when the stakes are high. You translate complex compliance and investigative workflows into working solutions on our platform. The role suits someone equally comfortable in a customer's compliance team or government agencies in an executive QBR.
Please note we are only looking to hire people that are based/willing to locate to Johannesburg
In this role, you’ll:
- Own onboarding and deployment for strategic accounts, building adoption plans with clear success criteria
- Advise compliance, investigations, and executive stakeholders as their primary technical point of contact
- Deliver product training, workshops, and enablement that turn new users into confident daily users
- Translate customer workflows and pain points into solution designs, integrations, and platform configurations
- Monitor usage and engagement trends to surface expansion opportunities and early churn risk, and act on both
- Partner with Sales on renewals, expansion, and account strategy, contributing directly to retention and growth targets
- Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering to resolve escalations and channel structured field feedback into the roadmap
- Represent the company at industry events, customer forums, and conferences across the region
- Contribute to team playbooks and documentation that scale how we serve customers
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- 5+ years in customer-facing roles at a high-growth technology company: customer success, solutions architecture, presales, technical account management, or enterprise consulting
- A track record of owning enterprise accounts, including managing senior and executive stakeholders through complex, multi-month deployments
- Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain: how transactions, wallets, exchanges, and stablecoins work, and how they intersect with AML, compliance, or investigative workflows
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional fluency in English
- Comfort with technical concepts such as APIs, data analysis, and logic-based workflows, with and without AI agents.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high degree of ownership
Nice to have experience:
- Direct experience in financial crime, AML/CFT, fraud, law enforcement, or financial regulation
- Hands-on experience with blockchain intelligence or analytics tooling
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CCI, equivalent)
- Experience supporting public sector customers or financial institutions in Africa
- An additional European or Arabic language
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
About Chainalysis
Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform, making it easy to connect the movement of digital assets to real-world services.
