Unlike an outsourcing agency, we place you directly with a client where you’re hired in-house as a valued member of their team.
About the Company
You’ll be joining a growing international company building digital products used by customers across multiple markets. The team values thoughtful product design, intuitive user experiences, and high-quality execution.
You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into polished, user-friendly digital experiences.
Role Type: Full-time
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Job Summary
We’re looking for a versatile UI/UX Designer / Product Designer with 3-5+ years of experience, who can own the design process from early UX thinking and wireframing through high-fidelity UI, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff.
The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with solid UX thinking. You should be comfortable solving complex product problems, creating modern and intuitive interfaces, and working independently with international teams in a fully remote environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced designer who wants meaningful ownership over digital products rather than focusing solely on graphic design or visual execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery and user flows through wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and developer handoff.
Translate product requirements and business objectives into intuitive, user-centered experiences.
Create polished interfaces for responsive web and/or mobile products.
Develop user flows, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final UI designs.
Build and maintain reusable components, design systems, and UI libraries in Figma.
Conduct or incorporate user research, usability feedback, analytics, and stakeholder insights into design decisions.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Prepare clear, detailed designs and specifications for engineering handoff.
Review implemented designs and work with developers to ensure design quality and consistency.
Identify UX issues and opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, conversion, and overall product experience.
Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
3–5+ years of professional UI/UX, Product Design, or equivalent experience.
A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world web and/or mobile product design.
Advanced proficiency with Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, and reusable design systems.
Strong understanding of UX fundamentals, including user flows, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and usability.

Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
Comfortable incorporating user research and usability feedback into design decisions.
Strong understanding of accessibility and user-centered design principles.
Experience collaborating with developers and preparing designs for engineering handoff.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in a fully remote environment.
Portfolio Signs We Prioritize:
Your portfolio should demonstrate how you think, not just how your designs look.
Strong candidates will ideally show:
Clear case studies explaining the problem, process, decisions, and outcome.
The progression from wireframes → prototypes → final UI.
Experience with SaaS platforms, dashboards, mobile apps, marketplaces, or other complex digital products.
Complex user journeys and product workflows rather than primarily marketing or landing pages.
Strong consistency in typography, spacing, hierarchy, grids, and visual systems.
Responsive design across different screen sizes and devices.
Design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
Evidence that products were actually built and shipped.
Clear reasoning behind important UX and UI decisions.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience designing SaaS or B2B products.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, or similar design tools.
Experience using product analytics or participating in A/B testing.
Previous experience working with UK, US, Canadian, European, or Australian companies.
Experience collaborating with distributed or international product and engineering teams.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
AI Gateway gives developers one place to connect applications and agents to hundreds of models with one API key. It handles provider routing and fallbacks, unifies billing and observability, and lets teams manage spend and security controls across production AI workloads.
Designing this well is a systems problem. A developer should be able to choose the right model, make and verify a first request, diagnose a failed request, and configure routing, budgets, credentials, and security controls without losing sight of the application they are trying to build. The right interface might be in the dashboard, on the public model catalog, in the CLI, in an API response, or in code.
You will be the Design Engineer for AI Gateway, owning product design and frontend implementation across those surfaces. You will work with customers, a Product Manager, and engineers to understand the problem, explore solutions, build the production experience, ship it, and learn from what happens after launch.
AI Gateway is live, the model ecosystem changes every week, and the team can move from an observed problem to production quickly. This is a rare chance to use your product judgment, design craft, and code to shape a developer product and ship the experience yourself.
You will be the design owner embedded with a Product Manager and a dedicated engineering team. You will also have the Product Design team around you for critique, collaboration, and support. AI Gateway will be your main product area, with room to pursue design-led improvements across Vercel. You will report to the Design Team.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Own product design and frontend implementation for meaningful parts of the journey from discovering a model to making a first successful request and operating AI in production.
Design and build production experiences across the website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs, choosing the right medium for each problem.
Make models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, logs, performance, privacy, and governance understandable, then create patterns that extend across new providers, modalities, and workloads.
Talk directly with customers and use product data to understand problems, define success, make tradeoffs, and improve what ships.
Own quality after launch, including visual and interaction craft, accessibility, performance, resilience, instrumentation, and edge cases.
Use coding agents to explore and implement ideas quickly, while testing, debugging, and taking responsibility for what ships.
What you need
Your work shows what you personally identified, designed, built, shipped, and learned after launch.
You build production-quality web applications with React and TypeScript and can contribute confidently in a large, existing codebase.
You bring strong visual and interaction craft and have made technical or data-rich products understandable without removing the control advanced users need.
You can move between graphical interfaces, CLI workflows, API behavior, and implementation details, treating accessibility, performance, failure recovery, and instrumentation as part of the design.
You use customer research and product data to make decisions, communicate your reasoning clearly, challenge ideas constructively, and change direction when the evidence changes.
You use coding agents in your daily work, but you can explain, test, debug, and take responsibility for the code they help produce.
There is no required path into this role. You may come from product design, frontend engineering, creative development, or a career that does not fit a standard title. We care about the quality of what you have shipped and the judgment behind it.
Bonus if you
Have experience with developer tools, infrastructure products, model marketplaces, or observability experiences.
Have worked with AI models, providers, inference platforms, guardrails, or AI application tooling.
Have experience with APIs, command-line tools, structured product content, or agent-facing interfaces.
Have built an application or agent with Vercel’s AI SDK or AI Gateway.

Localization Project Manager
based in Europe to support its game and cross-functional localization programs across European markets. This role will provide dedicated project management support to Localization Program Manager and, over time, independently manage a defined set of localization projects from intake through delivery. Text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA will be performed by an external localization vendor; this role is responsible for managing that vendor rather than executing the localization work directly.
The ideal contractor has hands-on localization project management experience, strong communication and tracking skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple localization workflows across games, marketing assets, vendors, linguists, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Manage the external localization vendor responsible for text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, and LQA, including tracking progress, coordinating handoffs, maintaining schedules, and following up on open items.
Assist Localization Program Manager with localization project planning, execution, and status reporting.
Gradually take ownership of approximately 10 to 20 localization projects end-to-end under Nex’s localization structure and process.
Manage localization requests from teams across Nex—including Marketing, Packaging, PlayOS, and other functions—including intake, prioritization, scheduling, stakeholder communication, handoffs, and delivery tracking.
Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation in Notion and other agreed systems.
Track project schedules, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
Serve as the primary operational contact between internal teams and the external localization vendor, coordinating requirements, deliverables, reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
Work closely with the vendor to improve localization quality by setting quality expectations, reviewing feedback and LQA findings, identifying recurring issues, and driving corrective actions and process improvements.
Prepare weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, blockers, and next steps.
Maintain a localization request log and timesheet for approved hours.
Escalate timeline, quality, scope, or dependency risks in a timely manner.
Deliverables
Weekly localization status report
Project schedule tracking
Risk and blocker list
Cross-functional localization request log
Approved timesheet
Other project tracking documents as reasonably requested
What You Bring
Experience managing localization projects, ideally for games, entertainment, software, or digital products.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with localization workflows, including text translation, graphic localization, voice-over localization, review, LQA, handoffs, and delivery management.
Experience managing localization vendors, including schedules, deliverables, quality expectations, feedback, and escalations.
Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Comfortable using Notion, Slack, spreadsheets, and localization platforms or project management tools.
Detail-oriented approach to schedules, deliverables, file tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
Fluency in English plus German, French, Spanish, or Italian is preferred.
Candidates should be based in Germany, France, Spain, or Italy and be familiar with European localization workflows and market requirements.
Reporting / Point of contact
This role will report to and coordinate primarily with Localization Program Manager, who will provide overall localization direction, priorities, and process guidance. The hiring manager will be based in Japan.

Your Role:
The Creative eLearning Developer designs and builds interactive training services, offering collateral and enablement content for the Services Portfolio by combining three capabilities in one role: multimedia/video design, graphic design, and technical writing. This role turns technical subject matter into polished, field-ready courses, videos, and collateral for websites, presentations, classrooms, and e-learning platforms - owning a deliverable from storyboard through final published, LMS-ready package.
This is a “creative” eLearning Developer specifically: unlike a standard eLearning Developer who authors courses from assets supplied by others, this role also creates the graphic and multimedia assets themselves - 2-D/3-D graphics, video animation, and course visuals, in addition to authoring interactive modules in tools like Articulate Storyline or Rise 360 and writing the scripts, captions, and course copy that tie a deliverable together. The role also manages one or more supporting processes for the team (e.g., video mastering, templates, or SCORM packaging standards), working largely self-directed with minimal supervision and reporting status to leadership at regular intervals.
Your Opportunity:
Multimedia & Video Design:
Video & Audio Editing:
Edit video and audio into the final training, services and marketing deliverables.
Storyboard Translation:
Translate storyboards into technical infographics and animated sequences.
3-D & Motion Assets:
Create line art, 2-D graphics, 3-D imaging, and video animation for course and presentation content.
Graphic Design & Brand Hub:
Template & Style Systems:
Create, maintain, and utilize templates for presentations, documents, and animations using a variety of development tools.
Brand & Style Guides:
Contribute to creating style guides for deliverables, ensuring visual and written consistency across the portfolio.
Visual Layout:
Design presentation layouts and visual assets that translate technical information into a clear visual story.
Brand Evolution Support:
Support the Senior Manager, Services Portfolio Production, in executing the corporate “house style” overhaul across all One Tenable, Prime assets, including the Tier 1/2 rebrand timeline.
Creative Request Hub:
Act as a direct creative design point of contact for the Senior Director and leadership — turning around presentations, graphics, and one-off collateral on request — with strict adherence to brand guidelines.
Brand Guideline Stewardship:
Maintain and enforce brand standards (logo usage, typography, color, iconography) across all portfolio deliverables, and flag or correct off-brand assets in circulation.
Technical Writing & Content Development:
Script & Course Copy:
Write and edit scripts, voiceover text, captions, and on-screen callouts, maintaining a consistent voice across written and visual content.
Documentation:
Maintain technical and course documentation to support the assets you build.
Content Evaluation:
Evaluate existing visual and written content and recommend improvements for clarity and engagement.
eLearning Authoring & Publishing:
Course Authoring:
Build interactive learning modules — branching scenarios, quizzes, and simulations — using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or Adobe Captivate.
Packaging & LMS Publishing:
Package courses to SCORM/xAPI standards, publish to the LMS, and test for compatibility and learner tracking.
Accessibility:
Apply accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) to eLearning content.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery:
Requirements Gathering:
Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop design plans.
Iterative Feedback:
Perform edits based on feedback from Solution Architects, peers, and leadership.
Deadline Management:
Create deliverables within time constraints to meet project deadlines.
Independent Execution:
Perform tasks with minimal supervision, managing one or more supporting processes (e.g., video mastering, templates, SCORM packaging standards) end-to-end.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Mentorship:
Mentor and develop less experienced designers, sharing craft and process knowledge across the production team.
What You'll Need:
Minimum 5 years of eLearning development, multimedia, or graphic/video design experience in a professional setting.
Comfortable writing and maintaining technical/course documentation, scripts, and captions for course and video deliverables.
Familiarity with the full product delivery life cycle: requirements analysis, design, testing, implementation.
B.A./B.S. in graphic design, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field, or comparable experience.
Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise 360 (or Adobe Captivate), plus Adobe Creative Cloud and Camtasia.
Strong presentation design skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote) for fast-turnaround, executive-ready decks in addition to core Adobe Creative Cloud work.
Experience building or maintaining a brand guideline system (logo, typography, color, iconography) at an organizational level.
Working knowledge of SCORM/xAPI packaging and LMS publishing; awareness of accessibility standards such as Section 508.
Working knowledge of Instructional Design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE).
Experience or knowledge of Tenable products; familiarity with network architecture and Tenable cybersecurity practices for enterprise environments.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong initiative and the ability to work remotely, both self-directed and as part of a geographically distributed team.
This role may require the ability to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity at our headquarters in Columbia MD or Boston MA. This position is US-based only.
Ability to work remotely in a self-directed manner
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations and meetings
