ABOUT US
Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a disciplined, highly autonomous Middle Next.js Developer to build and ship product features for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will own features end to end across a TypeScript monorepo — a Next.js App Router client, a Fastify + Payload CMS API on PostgreSQL, and Cloudflare Workers at the edge — from the moment you receive a task, through breaking it down, estimating, implementing, testing, and observability, to a clean release to production and confirmation that it works for real users.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited for someone who treats production as the standard, not the finish line. Half-tested code, silent failures, and unverified AI-generated output are not acceptable. The codebase is convention-heavy — a layered Feature-Sliced Design structure with strict import rules — and you are expected to work inside those conventions rather than around them. You are accountable for every task you take on and for every area of the product you touch: if it breaks, regresses, or stays half-finished, that is yours to see through. We expect maximum autonomy and real involvement in the product — you work independently within a sprint, communicate risks before they become blockers, and escalate architectural decisions to senior engineers rather than guessing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FEATURE DEVELOPMENT
- Build features across the Next.js client and the Fastify + Payload CMS backend according to product requirements
- Write code that follows the team's Feature-Sliced Design layering, naming, and import conventions
- Ship changes behind feature flags and A/B experiments, fully localized across every supported locale
- Integrate third-party providers — billing, email/CRM, analytics — over REST APIs and webhooks
QUALITY & RELIABILITY
- Cover functionality with unit, integration, and e2e tests at the level the team expects
- Run a thorough self-review before code review, and review teammates' code with the same rigour
- Fix bugs and perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues
- Optimize page and endpoint performance — rendering and caching strategy, database queries, bundle size
SECURITY & OBSERVABILITY
- Apply secure development practices: schema validation, access control, safe handling of secrets
- Follow observability practices — structured logging, metrics, and alerts — using existing tooling
COLLABORATION
- Break down, estimate, and ship your own tasks to production within the sprint — and stay accountable for them after release
- Own the areas of the product you work in: their stability, performance, and follow-up fixes
- Surface requirement clarifications, estimate changes, and risks early and in writing
- Escalate complex architectural decisions and critical risks to senior engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of commercial React experience, including 1+ year with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, route handlers, rendering and caching strategies) and solid TypeScript
- Node.js backend experience on a typed HTTP framework (Fastify, Nest, or Express) with PostgreSQL — REST API design, schema migrations, integrations over REST and webhooks (signature verification, idempotency, retries) — plus a working understanding of HTTP/REST, auth mechanisms, and web security fundamentals
- Hands-on with the modern client stack: TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form + Zod, Tailwind CSS, and a React component library such as HeroUI, MUI, or shadcn/ui
- Experience with a code-first headless CMS on PostgreSQL (Payload, Strapi, Directus, or equivalent) — collections, access control, generated types, migrations
- Testing and delivery discipline: e2e tests (Cypress or Playwright) and unit/integration tests (Vitest or Jest), Git flow, code review, working with CI
- Daily use of AI development tools (Claude Code or equivalents), including configuring them for a project — context, instructions, rules, MCP/integrations — with full ownership of the quality, security, and correctness of generated code
- English — B1+
LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES
- Owns the outcome — takes a task from requirement to production without waiting to be pushed, and stays accountable for the result and the area it touches
- Maximally autonomous and involved — needs a goal, not step-by-step instructions, and cares how the product performs, not just whether the ticket is closed
- Verifies before trusting — treats AI output, third-party responses, and your own code as unproven until tested
- Structured communicator — surfaces risks, blockers, and estimate changes early, in writing, in a remote team
- Knows the edge of their scope — escalates architectural and security decisions instead of improvising them
- Learns from incidents — fixes the root cause, not just the symptom

Ищут Middle / Senior Python Backend Developer.
Python / FastAPI.
API: request/response schemas, validation, error model, versioning.
S3-compatible storage.
LLM API, RAG/context, Qdrant, traces.
— Строить observability: structured logs, trace/request id, metrics, dashboards, error tracking.
Python.
Kafka/RabbitMQ, Celery.

We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
ABOUT THE ROLE
ClickUp is hiring a Strategic Solutions Engineer to accelerate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue across the APAC region. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise pre-sales, partner enablement, and solution architecture. You will serve as the technical force multiplier that enables upmarket partners (Solution Partners, GSIs, and enterprise resellers) to independently acquire, implement, and expand ClickUp within their customer base, driving ARR growth and net retention.
Your primary mandate is to increase the volume and quality of revenue that flows through partners, working alongside Partner Managers and Account Executives. You are a builder-scaler: standing up enablement programs from a proven playbook, iterating on them, and scaling them to drive repeatable partner-led revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner Enablement & Technical Development: Design and deliver structured enablement programs (workflow mapping, narrative decks, AI Agents, AI workflows, business process mapping, competitive positioning), coach partners on discovery, demos, solution design, and pricing, and drive partner certification and self-sufficiency across APAC.
- Co-Selling & Revenue: Serve as technical lead on partner-sourced deals from discovery through POC to post-sales handoff, coach partners to run standard deals independently, and tie all activities to measurable revenue outcomes (partner-sourced and partner-influenced iARR, win rate, deal velocity).
- Direct Customer Engagement: Support Account Executives on strategic direct opportunities, leading discovery, solution design, demos, and technical evaluations alongside the partner motion.
- Partner Acquisition & Development: Lead technical demonstrations and deep-dives for prospective partners, support recruitment as the technical closer, and elevate existing partners by showcasing new platform capabilities that expand their practice opportunity.
- AI & Certified Agents: Enable partners to identify, scope, and sell Certified Agent opportunities, deliver AI transformation workshops, and serve as the regional bridge between the internal AI/Agent team and the partner ecosystem.
- Events & Marketing: Lead or support partner-driven events (workshops, in-market tours, executive dinners), develop enablement content, and contribute to partner case studies and proof points.
- Reseller-Model Support: Support partner-owned billing, procurement, and renewal workflows, enable partners on expansion motions, and coordinate with Professional Services on co-delivery oversight and escalation paths.
- Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and global Solutions Engineering teams to resolve technical questions, assist with RFPs, and feed partner insights back into product and process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
- 2+ years supporting or enabling channel partners, VARs, system integrators, or working in a partner-led go-to-market motion.
- Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch (not just execute existing ones).
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to connect product capabilities and technical details to business outcomes for different audiences.
- Experience designing or explaining solutions involving APIs, web services, automation, integrations, workflow configuration, or lightweight technical validation.
- Strong background in business process mapping, including the ability to analyse, document, and improve complex business processes across diverse environments.
- Ability to create credibility with partners, AEs, and customers, handle objections thoughtfully, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Hands-on experience with AI & LLMs, integration platforms (Unito, Workato, Zapier, Integromat), web services, and APIs.
- Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving, and comfort managing multiple concurrent priorities with urgency and limited supervision.
- Up to 50% of travel is required for this role.
LOCATION
- This role is open to candidates across Australia, with Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data architecture and platform engineering to drive data initiatives for a top-tier life sciences client. This role sits at the critical intersection of scientific research informatics, clinical data systems, and manufacturing process engineering.
In this position, you will own the architectural vision and hands-on execution of scalable data platforms and pipelines. You will bridge complex data domains—from small and large molecule research, genomics, and clinical trial datasets to active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing processes, batch data, and industrial control systems. Operating in a 3-day onsite hybrid capacity in Indianapolis, you will collaborate directly with process engineers, clinical scientists, and platform teams to build high-performance data infrastructure that accelerates drug discovery and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific & Clinical Data Platform Architecture
Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and architecture tailored for scientific, clinical trial, and research informatics data (small/large molecule, genomics, proteomics, LIMS).
Structure complex, multi-modal clinical and scientific datasets to enable advanced analytics, enterprise reporting, and downstream machine learning models.
Process Engineering & Manufacturing Integration
Ingest, harmonize, and model operational technology (OT) and manufacturing process datasets, including API manufacturing pipelines, batch processing data, MES, SCADA, and OSIsoft PI systems.
Unify disparate laboratory and facility data pipelines into centralized, highly available enterprise data platforms.
Enterprise Data Engineering & Compliance
Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure), PySpark, and SQL.
Ensure all data pipelines and platform integrations strictly adhere to enterprise governance, data residency, and GxP regulatory standards within a heavily monitored environment.
Technical Leadership & Domain Alignment
Partner directly with process engineers, chemical engineering leads, and research informatics directors to translate operational friction into robust technical specifications.
Establish engineering best practices, data modeling standards, and pipeline monitoring frameworks across the enterprise data stack.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
Senior-level proficiency (10–20+ years) in software development, data platform architecture, and complex ETL/ELT engineering.
Domain Adaptability:
Demonstrated ability to engineer data pipelines across non-standard, highly specialized domains (e.g., transition between process/chemical engineering data and clinical/scientific research informatics).
Location & Work Auth:
Must hold unrestricted US Work Authorization (no sponsorship available) and be able to work 3 days per week onsite in the Indianapolis, IN area.
Culture & Communication:
Exceptional problem-solving mindset, strong adaptability, and the ability to articulate complex technical architecture to cross-functional engineering teams.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Advanced Python, PySpark, and expert-level SQL.
Data Platforms:
Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS/Azure enterprise data ecosystems.
Orchestration & ETL:
Extensive experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, and enterprise data orchestration engines.
Data Pipelines:
Proven track record building streaming and batch data architectures via REST APIs, message brokers, and database integrations.
Domain Competency (Scientific & Process Focus)
Deep exposure to either scientific/clinical informatics (CDISC/SDTM, LIMS, clinical trials, multi-omics)
OR
chemical/process engineering data (API manufacturing, batch data, SCADA, MES, OSIsoft PI).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Academic background in Chemical Engineering, Bio-process Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Direct experience working inside regulated GxP environments in the Life Sciences or Specialty Chemicals sectors.
Certifications:
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Senior/Professional, Snowflake SnowPro Core/Advanced, or AWS Data Engineer Associate/Professional.
What This Role Is NOT
Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher:
You will not be building or training machine learning models; you are designing and scaling the underlying data architecture, pipelines, and platform infrastructure.
Not a non-coding Architect:
This is a 100% hands-on engineering lead role requiring direct pipeline construction and technical execution.
Not a Fully Remote Position:
This role requires a steady hybrid commitment of 3 days onsite per week at the client site in Indianapolis.
