WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
You’ll build the systems that let any knowledge worker leverage fast, scalable databases without having to become a DBA.
You’ll be a hands-on technical leader, helping set the architectural direction and roadmap as we take a new product from early alpha to general availability. You’ll work directly with early customers to shape foundational technical and product decisions. Then, together, we’ll work on scaling as adoption and workloads grow.
This is a backend-leaning role with work spanning the stack. You might build the systems that provision and manage a fleet of customer Postgres instances, design how user-defined schemas evolve safely, or make complex queries execute efficiently. You’ll also follow those systems into the product: improving how a table loads, how users understand a slow operation, or how an agent safely works with their data.
You’ll help shape the architecture and the product together. Some problems call for a better abstraction, others for a better default, and others for rethinking what we ask the user to do in the first place. You’ll work with teammates and customers to find those answers, ship practical solutions, and evolve them as usage grows.
Our stack includes Postgres, Go, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
The people who understand a business best aren’t always the people who can build its software. A support lead knows how tickets should be triaged. An operations manager knows how inventory should move. But turning that knowledge into a reliable system often means finding an engineer, provisioning a database, and building an application.
We’re building database infrastructure for everyone else. We want everyday knowledge workers to bring their data into Notion, connect it, and build workflows around it. And do so with the power of a real database (Postgres!) and the approachability of a tool they already know.
AI agents make that opportunity even bigger: helping people build and operate systems they couldn’t have created on their own.
For our team, this is much more than putting a friendly interface on Postgres. It means making hard database problems disappear from the user’s workflow without sacrificing correctness, performance, or flexibility. How do you let someone reshape a live database as easily as editing a document? Make the right indexes exist without asking someone to become a DBA? Let a weekend experiment grow into a company’s system of record without anyone having to rearchitect it?
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Take a new product from alpha to general availability. Work with early customers to understand what matters, iterate on feedback, and help shape what we ship.
- Make real customer workloads fast. Improve query execution, indexing, and client data loading so performance holds up as datasets grow and workflows become more demanding.
- Build systems businesses can trust with their data. Make schema changes, concurrent writes, permissions, and recovery reliable enough for customers to build essential workflows on top.
- Make powerful capabilities approachable. Turn database provisioning, migrations, and indexes into a reliable, easy-to-use product experience that gives people the power of a database without the burden of managing one.
- Build for the customers who come next. Automate database provisioning and fleet operations, strengthen observability, and evolve the architecture so we can serve many, many customers.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Production relational database experience (e.g., Postgres or MySQL). You’ve made decisions about schemas and indexes, analyzed database performance, and debugged issues involving transactions, locking, or concurrency. Your experience goes beyond accessing a database through an ORM.
- Engineering experience and technical leadership. You bring 10+ years of experience building and operating production software, with a track record of setting technical direction and leading complex, cross-team initiatives from concept through delivery. You identify the most important problems to solve, turn ambiguous goals into a technical strategy, and align engineers and partner teams around a practical plan. You stay hands-on while helping others make better decisions through design reviews, mentorship, and clear technical guidance.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals. You’ve built services that need to remain correct under concurrency and failure. You can reason about retries, partial failures, consistency, and the trade-offs involved in reliable reads and writes.
- A systematic approach to performance. You use query plans, traces, profiles, and experiments to find bottlenecks and verify improvements. You’re willing to follow a problem across storage, services, and client code rather than stopping at a team boundary.
- Product judgment. You’re interested in who will use what you build, not just how it works. You can turn a customer’s problem into a technical approach and recognize when a better default or simpler workflow would solve it more effectively.
- Willingness to work across the stack. You bring backend depth, but you’re comfortable learning unfamiliar systems and working in client code when that’s what delivering a good experience requires.
- Fluency with AI-assisted engineering. You use AI to accelerate exploration, implementation, and testing while taking responsibility for understanding and validating the result.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience managing fleets of databases or building database platforms, including provisioning, upgrades, backups, and recovery.
- Deep Postgres expertise, such as advanced query optimization, performance tuning, or workload isolation for large datasets and high-concurrency workloads.
- Experience building query layers, sync engines, change-data-capture pipelines, permission systems, or other reusable data abstractions.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

About Supabase
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
About the Role
We're looking for a FinOps Engineer to help drive cost optimization and cloud financial governance across our AWS infrastructure and GCP footprint. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Product to find and ship savings, build the tooling necessary to maximize efficiency of every dollar spent in the cloud, and cultivate a culture of cost awareness across engineering teams.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not an analyst seat. You'll do the schlep work other teams don't have time for, digging into a bucket's access pattern, writing the Terraform or Lambda that ships the fix, working on a product feature chasing a number until it reconciles, and influencing product decisions when cost to reliability tradeoffs hit. Strong communication matters as much as technical depth, you'll regularly explain a savings case to an engineering team, a finance stakeholder, and a leadership audience in the same week.
What You'll Be Responsible For
In this role, you'll:
- Find and ship savings across AWS and GCP: Analyze billing, usage, and cost trends to identify opportunities, rightsizing, storage lifecycle policies, data transfer, and spot/auto-scaling. Take ideas from identification through to a realized dollar figure, not just a recommendation.
- Build and maintain cost attribution: Tagging policies, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback so engineering teams can see and own their own spend. This is foundational work other savings work depends on.
- Automate cost governance: Build automated cost reporting, anomaly detection, and alerting. Write the scripts and infrastructure-as-code (Python, Terraform, Lambda) that enforce cost policy rather than relying on manual review.
- Partner with engineering on architecture decisions: Bring cost into the room early, cost-efficiencies are cheaper to get right at design than to retrofit.
- Work with Finance on forecasting and reporting: Support budget tracking and financial KPIs; build dashboards engineering and finance can both read.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
- Have strong AWS expertise and working GCP knowledge, including pricing models, billing structures, and cost optimization mechanics.
- Have automation and scripting skills: Python, Terraform/ pulumi, Lambda, or Bash
- Are comfortable with cost/billing tooling: AWS Cost Explorer, Cost & Usage Reports, GCP Billing Reports, and BI/dashboarding (we use Hex).
- Have experience with, or are comfortable picking up, Linear and Notion as the system of record for tracking and documenting FinOps work.
- Experience with a dedicated cloud cost management platform (e.g. CloudZero, Vantage, or similar) is a plus, not required.
- Can analyze cost data and present it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have prior experience in a FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance role.
- Are energized by doing the unglamorous, high-leverage work (the schlep) that unblocks other teams, and by working cross-functionally without positional authority.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.
- Tech Allowance
Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.
- Health Benefits
Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.
- Annual Off-Sites
Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.
- Flexible Work
We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
- Professional Development
Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.
- ~400 team members
- 60+ countries
- 20+ languages spoken
- Over $1B raised (including our $500M Series F)
- 540,000+ community members
We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Level:
Director (we are open to hiring at Senior Director level for more experienced candidates)
Role overview
GiveDirectly intends to transfer $10B by 2035 while building a resilient, durable cash-first movement in the aid sector.
To reach this milestone, we have brought all fundraising efforts under one leadership, to enable better coordination and optimisation of fundraising streams and operations over time. This unified approach is building a high-performance fundraising team that identifies and secures high-quality leads, while standardizing revenue operations and knowledge-sharing across all verticals, enabling a better donor experience and securing long-term funding to achieve our goals of eliminating extreme poverty and responding better in crisis.
The Director/Senior Director, Revenue Operations will own the operating backbone of the Fundraising function: the data, systems, and processes that let Partnerships, Philanthropy, Individual Giving, and Special Projects run at scale. As we grow our Emergency Cash and US work alongside our work on ending extreme poverty, the candidate will also help ensure fundraising strategies are complementary rather than competing. This is a BizOps-first role. You will build the pipeline infrastructure, KPI architecture, and operating rhythms that make Fundraising's growth predictable and measurable, and you will represent Fundraising to Finance, Compliance, Grants Management, and the People team.
Alongside this, the role carries a chief-of-staff dimension: partnering with the Vice President of Partnership on strategic priorities, high-stakes internal and external communications, and organizational change management, so the VP's time is focused on the highest-impact work.
Depending on the skills and interests of the person we hire, this role may grow to manage a team of 3-5, covering some combination of: fundraising tech and data (e.g. Salesforce), donor experience, and knowledge management. Reflecting our "Team Next" value and commitment to organizational excellence, this person will drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure fundraising operations scale seamlessly alongside our global growth.
Key responsibilities
Own Fundraising's revenue operations: data, systems, and process (primary focus)
Build and own the strategic data and systems architecture for Fundraising: pipeline tracking, annual and in-year forecasting, and reporting infrastructure (e.g. Salesforce) that gives every vertical a single, trustworthy source of truth.
Define, standardize, and own tracking of fit-for-purpose Fundraising KPIs, aligned to Board reporting needs and the team's long-term strategic direction.
Partner with counterparts on Fundraising Data and Tech to prioritize, execute, and approve projects that serve both functions.
Design and institutionalize the operating rhythms of the Fundraising function: pipeline reviews, QBRs, reporting cadences, and the processes that turn strategy into consistent execution.
Develop revenue systems and processes alongside the Finance, Fundraising and Donor Experience teams that support scalable growth, protect donor journeys, and ensure capital moves securely and efficiently through the organization.
Own revenue reconciliation and recognition, pledge and receivable tracking, restricted-fund coding, monthly/annual close handoff, or audit support.
Own workforce and capacity planning for Fundraising in partnership with the VP: role scoping, hiring prioritization, and structural improvements as the team scales.
Build and lead a team as the function matures
As the role grows, manage a team of 3-5 covering fundraising tech and data (e.g. Salesforce), donor experience, and knowledge management, setting priorities, coaching, and ensuring quality across each area.
Set clear ownership and operating cadences across the team so each workstream (tech and data, donor experience, knowledge management) has a defined remit and reduces duplicated effort across Fundraising verticals.
Act as the go-to liaison between Fundraising and other functions
Maintain a comprehensive view of Fundraising needs across all verticals and sub-teams, and act as the single point of contact for Grants Management, Finance, and Compliance on run-rate donor management processes.
Represent Fundraising's operational needs to the People team, Legal, and other functions as cross-functional systems and initiatives are designed and launched.
Partner with the VP on strategy and organizational effectiveness (chief-of-staff functions)
Collaborate with the Vice President to refine the unit's strategy, manage organizational change, and lead internal communications.
Streamline decision-making, manage priorities, and provide strategic counsel to maximize the VP's focus and effectiveness on high-impact work.
Prepare briefing materials and executive-level communications for senior leadership and Board audiences as needed.
Lead on cross-fundraising initiatives and priorities
Address broader organizational priorities as needed, including high-level donor stewardship coordination, cross-functional system launches, flexible workforce planning, or market expansion initiatives.
This role would suit somebody who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, who is energized by building systems and structure out of ambiguity, and who enjoys pulling together disparate workstreams into a cohesive, impactful strategy. It's a strong fit for someone with a business operations, revenue operations, or chief-of-staff background who wants a role weighted toward building and owning systems (and, over time, building a team) rather than one focused primarily on executive support.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in revenue operations, business operations, or a chief-of-staff role, ideally within a fundraising, sales, or partnerships organization.
Demonstrated experience building or owning CRM/pipeline systems (e.g. Salesforce), KPI frameworks, and reporting infrastructure that multiple teams rely on.
Strong analytical operator: comfortable structuring ambiguity, setting priorities, and using data to drive decisions. An advanced degree (e.g. MBA) is a plus, not a requirement.
Proven track record managing cross-functional relationships and influencing senior stakeholders outside a direct reporting line.
Experience managing people or workstreams, with the ability to scope roles and structure as a function grows; direct people management experience is a plus given this role may build and lead a team of 3-5.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for high-stakes internal and Board-facing materials.
Deep alignment with GiveDirectly's values, especially recipient choice, transparency, and evidence.
Bonus
Experience working with institutional donors or fundraising teams in Africa.
Experience standing up a BizOps or RevOps function from scratch, including building out a team across tech and data, donor experience, and knowledge management.

At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. About inKind
inKind is transforming the way restaurants access growth capital and build relationships with their guests. Sitting at the intersection of hospitality, fintech, consumer technology, and loyalty, our platform helps restaurant operators grow while giving consumers a better way to discover, experience, and engage with restaurants.
We are entering our next stage of growth, and our ambition is significant: to establish inKind as the market-leading brand in dining and become one of the most recognized and relevant consumer brands in hospitality.
We're looking for a VP of Marketing who has experienced hyper-scale before - someone who understands what it takes to take a rapidly growing company and turn it into a category-defining, nationally recognized brand.
Role Summary
The VP of Marketing will own the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of inKind's marketing function across growth, brand, lifecycle, acquisition, retention, content, partnerships, and product marketing.
This is a critical leadership role for the next stage of inKind's growth. We want someone who has seen and helped lead hyper-scale firsthand and understands how the marketing strategy, organization, channels, brand, technology, and operating model need to evolve as a company moves from high growth to true market leadership.
Your mandate is bigger than generating leads or running campaigns. You will help turn inKind into a market-leading consumer brand, creating the awareness, affinity, customer growth, and engagement required to make inKind synonymous with discovering and experiencing great restaurants.
This is not a role for someone who wants to operate purely at the strategy level. You will set the vision while remaining deeply involved in execution - understanding how channels perform, how consumers behave, where the funnel can improve, what the brand stands for, and where we should place our next bet.
You will combine brand building with commercial performance, ensuring every marketing investment contributes to sustainable growth and long-term brand equity.
What You'll Own
Hyper-Scale Growth
Build the marketing strategy required to drive inKind through its next paradigm of rapid growth.
Bring firsthand experience of what changes when a business moves from growth into hyper-growth - from channels and organizational structure to processes, technology, measurement, and brand investment.
Identify the growth engines capable of taking inKind from today's scale to the next order of magnitude.
Build repeatable, scalable acquisition and engagement models rather than relying on isolated campaigns.
Anticipate the capabilities, talent, systems, and infrastructure Marketing will need before growth creates the requirement.
Balance aggressive growth with disciplined economics and sustainable customer value.
Growth & Customer Acquisition
Own the overall strategy for consumer growth, acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
Build and continuously optimize a diversified acquisition strategy across paid, organic, referral, partnership, local, and emerging channels.
Establish clear performance expectations across the marketing funnel and identify opportunities to improve conversion at every stage.
Own key growth metrics including CAC, conversion, activation, retention, repeat behavior, frequency, and LTV.
Develop scalable growth loops that leverage inKind's restaurant network, consumers, partners, and product.
Test aggressively, learn quickly, and scale what works.
Build a Market-Leading Brand
Own the ambition of transforming inKind from a rapidly growing company into a nationally recognized, market-leading consumer brand.
Define and evolve the inKind brand strategy, positioning, voice, and creative direction.
Establish a clear point of view on what inKind should stand for in the minds of consumers.
Build awareness, consideration, preference, and affinity at scale.
Develop breakthrough campaigns and brand moments capable of expanding inKind beyond its existing audience.
Build a brand that consumers actively recognize, trust, talk about, and want to engage with.
Ensure brand investment and growth marketing work together rather than operating as separate disciplines.
Identify opportunities for inKind to define and lead its category.
Establish consistent and distinctive brand experiences across product, digital, social, restaurant, partnership, experiential, and corporate touchpoints.
Lifecycle, CRM & Retention
Own lifecycle marketing across the complete customer journey.
Develop sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies based on customer behavior and data.
Improve onboarding, activation, engagement, frequency, reactivation, and retention.
Drive continuous experimentation across messaging, offers, timing, channels, and customer segments.
Partner with Product and Data to identify behavioral signals and turn them into actionable marketing programs.
Ensure lifecycle marketing becomes a meaningful driver of customer LTV and sustainable growth.
Optimization & Analytics
Build a marketing organization where data drives decisions.
Establish clear dashboards and KPIs across channels, campaigns, customer segments, brand health, and the overall marketing funnel.
Regularly analyze performance and identify where resources should be increased, reduced, or redirected.
Develop a rigorous testing framework across creative, audience, channel, offer, landing page, and customer experience.
Understand not simply what happened, but why it happened and what we should do next.
Translate marketing performance and consumer behavior into clear recommendations for Executive Leadership.
Create the measurement frameworks necessary to understand both short-term performance marketing and long-term brand impact.
Product & Partner Marketing
Partner closely with Product to ensure customer insights influence the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Develop positioning and go-to-market plans for new products, capabilities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
Create programs that simultaneously drive value for
consumers, restaurant partners, and inKind
.
Ensure major launches have clear audiences, messaging, distribution strategies, and measurable success criteria.
Identify opportunities where product capabilities themselves can become powerful acquisition, engagement, and brand-building mechanisms.
Marketing Leadership & Execution
Set the overall marketing strategy while remaining close to the work.
Build, lead, coach, and scale a high-performing marketing organization capable of operating in a hyper-growth environment.
Determine what the marketing organization needs to look like at 2x, 5x, and 10x today's scale.
Establish clear ownership, priorities, goals, and accountability across the team.
Evaluate the existing marketing organization, capabilities, agencies, technology, processes, and investment strategy and determine what needs to evolve.
Manage marketing investment with a strong focus on incremental impact, scalability, and ROI.
Move comfortably between executive-level strategy and detailed campaign, creative, channel, or performance discussions.
Create a culture of experimentation, urgency, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
You've seen hyper-scale:
You have operated inside a company during a period of exceptional growth and understand what needs to change as the organization scales.
You've built brands, not just campaigns:
You understand how a growing company becomes a recognizable, differentiated, market-leading brand.
Strategic and hands-on:
You can build a multi-year marketing strategy and dive into campaign performance the same day.
Commercially minded:
You think about marketing through the lens of revenue, growth, customer behavior, market share, and enterprise value.
Brand + Growth:
You believe exceptional brand building and measurable performance should reinforce each other.
Data-driven:
You're comfortable interrogating dashboards, funnels, cohorts, CAC, LTV, retention, conversion, and channel performance.
Customer obsessed:
You have a deep curiosity about why consumers behave the way they do and what creates genuine brand affinity.
Highly experimental:
You naturally think in hypotheses, tests, results, and iteration.
Builder mentality:
You're energized by building the organization and capabilities required for the next stage rather than simply managing what already exists.
High agency:
When you identify an opportunity or problem, you take ownership and move quickly.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
Firsthand experience operating through hyper-growth or hyper-scale, ideally within a business that achieved significant national consumer adoption.
Demonstrated experience helping transform a growing company into a market-leading or category-defining brand.
Experience within a high-growth consumer, marketplace, fintech, hospitality, loyalty, e-commerce, or technology business.
Demonstrated success scaling consumer acquisition and retention.
Strong experience across growth marketing, brand, lifecycle/CRM, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
Proven ability to build and scale high-performing marketing organizations.
Strong analytical capabilities and experience using customer and performance data to drive decisions.
Experience managing significant marketing investments and evaluating channel-level ROI.
Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will have:
Established a clear strategy for taking inKind from high growth toward true market leadership.
Significantly increased awareness and consideration of the inKind brand.
Created a clear and differentiated position for inKind within the market.
Built scalable acquisition engines capable of supporting the company's next stage of growth.
Improved customer acquisition efficiency and funnel conversion.
Increased customer activation, engagement, frequency, retention, and LTV.
Strengthened lifecycle, personalization, and customer segmentation capabilities.
Established clear marketing and brand dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and performance accountability.
Built the team, systems, processes, and capabilities required to support hyper-scale.
Created stronger integration between Marketing, Product, Data, and commercial teams.
Put inKind firmly on the path to becoming the market-leading consumer brand in its category.
Why inKind
This is an opportunity to join inKind at an inflection point.
The foundations have been built. The business is scaling rapidly. The opportunity now is to take that momentum and build a brand with national awareness, significant consumer relevance, and category leadership.
We're looking for someone who has experienced that journey before and wants to help do it again—this time with the opportunity to shape the strategy, organization, brand, and growth engine behind it.
You'll have the opportunity to build a marketing organization and brand capable of defining the next stage of inKind's growth - and ultimately help make inKind synonymous with how people discover and experience restaurants.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role:
The Encodings Infra team maintains the libraries that engineers and researchers across Anthropic use to encode text and multimodal data into a form that Claude can consume. It also determines Claude’s prompt shape: how a user’s turn is represented to the model, how Claude calls tools and receives tool results, and so on.
As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll own the design and maintenance of these libraries—keeping their APIs intuitive, their performance sharp, and their abstractions solid enough that most of the org never has to think about encodings or prompt structures at all. You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your work enabled Claude to learn new ways of understanding the world.
This role is unusually broad: your work will touch systems across the codebase, from pretraining to finetuning to the API, and you'll collaborate closely with both researchers and engineers to make sure new encoding ideas can move quickly from experiment to production.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the encoding libraries used by engineers and researchers across Anthropic
Run experiments to determine the optimal way to feed structured data into Claude without confusing it
Design data structures and abstractions that shield most of the organization from the details of how encoded data works while enabling “power users”
Adapt the encoding libraries to support new research directions as they emerge, and make sure that we can ship these research ideas to production
Optimize encoding performance across the systems that depend on these libraries
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent maintaining libraries, SDKs, or developer-facing APIs
Have familiarity with ML terminology and LLM architecture — you don't need to be an ML expert, but enough understanding to work effectively alongside researchers and understand the results of experiments
Have experience carrying out complex refactors in large codebases
Have strong communication skills and enjoy working closely with researchers and engineers to understand what they need
Are results-oriented, with a bias towards flexibility and impact
Pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description
Care about the societal impacts of your work
Strong candidates may also have experience with:
Tokenizers or other text/data encoding systems
Maintaining a widely-used library over a long period of time
Performance optimization
Python and/or Rust
Reinforcement learning or model training infrastructure
Representative projects:
Working with a research team to ship a new multimodal data type (audio, video, etc) to production
Redesigning a core abstraction so that we can change how data is encoded into Claude without breaking downstream teams
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 16M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
Reports to:
Director of Product Security and Incident Response
Location:
Remote US
Compensation Range:
$200,000.00 to $210,000.00 plus bonus and equity
What You’ll Do:
As a Staff CSIRT Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of Huntress’ internal security resilience. You will act as the primary internal escalation point from our SOC, ensuring we protect ourselves with the same rigor and products we use for our customers. In this role, you will strategize with leaders across multiple functions to identify work streams and own the end-to-end incident response lifecycle. You will guide teams, determine key milestones, and proactively anticipate blockers that could hinder our response capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Incident Response & Triage:
Lead the identification, triage, and validation of security incidents through various telemetry sources, acting as the ultimate escalation point for the SOC.
Strategic Preparedness:
Drive organizational incident readiness by designing and executing practical response exercises (tabletops and purple teaming) to ensure first responders are prepared at all levels of our organization.
Telemetry Optimization:
Partner with engineering, product security, and detection engineering teams to tune existing telemetry sources to a high true-positive rate, reducing noise and increasing detection efficacy.
Offensive Security Partnership:
Collaborate closely with the Offensive Security team to identify visibility gaps and ensure proper coverage against modern threat actor TTPs. Partner with product security, engineering, detection engineering, and other applicable business units to close these gaps rather than treating them as a blocker.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
: Lead cross-functional Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) to extract critical lessons learned; own the lifecycle of resulting remediation tasks, driving specific tooling and process enhancements that harden organizational defenses and response against future threats.
Stakeholder Communication:
Develop and present comprehensive reports and "lessons learned" to stakeholders at all levels following major incidents or exercises.
Documentation:
Create and maintain playbooks, system configurations, and incident response standards to ensure scalability and supportability.
What You Bring To The Team:
Experience:
8+ years of experience in Incident Response, SOC Operations, or Digital Forensics (DFIR).
Technical Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of EDR/MDR platforms, log aggregation (SIEM/ELK), and cloud security environments (AWS/Azure/M365).
Problem Solving:
Proven ability to articulate the root cause of complex problems using first principles and translate insights into technical solutions.
Strategic Thinking:
Experience leading small project teams and aligning tech stacks across functions.
Communication:
Exceptional ability to convey complex technical incident details to both technical teams and executive leadership.
Tooling:
Familiarity with automation/SOAR platforms and documentation tools like Confluence, Jira, and Lucid Chart.
Mindset:
A proactive, forward-thinking approach to security with a passion for building "stewardship of culture" through inclusive and actionable security behaviors.
