About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're growing our Applied AI team to dramatically increase productivity across Engineering, Sales, Support, and Operations, and to ship AI-powered products that customers rely on directly.
As an Applied AI Engineer, you'll design and ship production AI systems that change how WorkOS builds, sells, supports, and scales. You’ll also be building things that WorkOS customers use, and systems that the entire company depends on daily.
You'll work on a small, high-ownership team that:
- Chooses problems based on measurable impact
- Moves from idea → prototype → production in days or weeks
- Ships at both layers: internal leverage and customer-facing product
- Adapts quickly as models, tools, and best practices evolve
This is a 0→1 role with company-wide visibility.
What you'll do
- Design and ship customer-facing AI products like ask.workos.com http://ask.workos.com, AI support bots embedded in customer Slack channels, and new surfaces we haven't built yet
- Build internal tools that become part of people's daily work: agents, automations, and workflows that are stable, observable, and easy to maintain
- Work on big bets: a unified bot framework, a sandboxed coding harness agent, and infrastructure that lets the entire company ship
- Use LLMs, embeddings, retrieval, and tool-calling to plug into docs, Slack, GitHub, CRM, analytics, support systems, and internal services
- Replace repetitive, multi-step manual processes with orchestrated, AI-driven flows that span multiple apps and data sources
- Stay current on new models and tooling, run focused experiments, and help the team converge on patterns, libraries, and infrastructure that compound over time
Example problems you might work on
- A sandboxed coding harness that can safely take a bug report or feature spec all the way to a deployed change
- A unified bot framework that powers every AI touchpoint, internal and customer-facing from a single, observable backbone
- A GTM intelligence layer that gives reps live account context, meeting prep, and follow-up from CRM, product usage, and conversation history
- Turning noisy, cross-tool workflows (tickets, Slack threads, docs) into a single agent that handles triage, routing, and suggested actions
- Infrastructure that lets any WorkOS team ship a reliable internal AI app without reinventing the stack
What we're looking for
- You've taken AI-powered systems from idea to production and through at least one iteration cycle with real users
- Strong engineering fundamentals. You're comfortable owning services, data flows, and integrations end-to-end
- Experience building with LLM APIs
- You think about failure modes, observability, and ownership, not just whether the demo works
- Bias toward action. You care less about the model and more about removing real bottlenecks, saving hours, or unlocking workflows the company couldn't do before
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast change. The problem, the tools, and the "right" patterns are all evolving, you're excited to help define them
Nice to have
- Prior work on customer-facing AI products
- Experience with embeddings, retrieval/RAG architectures, and structured tool-calling or agents
- Exposure to MCP or similar protocols for connecting AI agents to real systems

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp's Mid-Market Customer Activation Managers don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll own a book of ~45 mid-market customers, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion
What You'll do
1. Lead mid-market customers through the full transformation journey — from implementation through agentic workflow adoption — with clear accountability for time-to-value and measurable business outcomes
2. Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line
3. Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about — close cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI — not just product usage metric
4. Run stakeholder management across multiple layers of a customer org, including finance leadership relationships you own independently
5. Use AI tools daily to prepare for customer calls, build materials, synthesize data, identify account risk, and operate at a pace traditional methods can't match
6. Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities — positioning new workflows not as features, but as fundamental changes to how their finance team operates
7. Partner with Account Executives and Technical Consulting to deliver seamless implementations and expand Ramp's footprint within accounts
8. Bring customer insight back to Product — surfacing patterns, gaps, and opportunities from your accounts to shape how Ramp evolves
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in customer success, consulting, or implementations with a proven, consistent track record of driving customer outcomes and exceeding goals
- Demonstrated ability to drive workflow adoption inside organizations, navigate real resistance from real stakeholders, and produce measurable results; finance or fintech context is a plus but not required
- AI fluency as a daily habit — you already use AI tools habitually to prep for calls, synthesize information, build customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks; this is how you work, not something you're exploring
- Ability to communicate Ramp's impact in financial terms — walking a controller through the business case for a workflow change, connecting implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and running executive updates that land with finance leaders
- Technical acumen to hold your own in conversations with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture; credibility in technical conversations earns you a seat at the table with the full customer stakeholder group
- Prior demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS or FinTech companies
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across Sales, Product, Operations, and other GTM teams
Nice to Haves
1. Experience helping customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows at scale; understanding of what friction looks like in practice and what makes transformation stick
2. Exposure to FP&A, accounting software ecosystems (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), expense management, or CFO-adjacent workflows
3. Demonstrated commercial impact — expansion, retention, or time-to-value outcomes with specific metrics attached
4. Background at an AI-first or AI transformation company where rethinking workflows around AI was part of the product or culture
5. Management consulting background with structured problem-solving, client management, and the ability to turn ambiguity into a plan
6. High-growth or startup experience with comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $128,000 - $176,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $115,000- $158,300.

- Own execution and operational tracking of the company’s headcount plan in partnership with finance.
- Build systems to monitor hiring progress, recruiter capacity, and forecasting.
- Interview Operations & Scheduling

Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
Figma is evolving the Product Support experience, powered by AI, automation, and integrated systems. The AI Infrastructure & Tooling team helps make that possible by building intelligent, resilient, and integrated solutions that automate workflows, connect systems, and streamline support operations. As a Support Engineer, AI Infrastructure & Tooling on this team, you'll be the technical execution layer that brings our support tools, customer and account context, internal systems, and AI workflows together.
You'll design, build, and operationalize integrations across systems like Decagon, Zendesk, Figma admin tooling, and adjacent Product Support platforms. Your work will help us bring the right context into customer conversations, automate complex workflows, and optimize both the customer and Specialist experience by applying AI where it can meaningfully improve support workflows, quality, and efficiency.
This role is ideal for someone who can move from ambiguous support problems to working technical solutions: understanding the workflow, identifying the systems involved, building the integration or automation, validating the data flow, and measuring the impact on customer outcomes and Specialist efficiency.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Build and operationalize AI-powered workflows that improve Product Support experiences for customers and internal support teams
Design and maintain integrations across Decagon, Zendesk, Figma admin tooling, internal data sources, and adjacent Product Support platforms
Bring relevant customer, account, product, billing, file, or admin metadata into support conversations so chatbots and Specialists have the context they need to resolve issues more effectively
Use LLMs and AI patterns for classification, summarization, routing, recommendations, context enrichment, and workflow automation
Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Security, Programs, Support, and vendor teams to align on requirements, implementation, governance, and rollout
Build quality checks, monitoring, fallback paths, and operational guardrails so AI-powered workflows can be trusted in production
Define success metrics for each workflow, track adoption and impact, and iterate based on customer outcomes, Specialist efficiency, and adoption
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
3+ years of experience shipping integrations, automations, or internal tools across customer-facing operational systems
Strong proficiency in modern back-end technologies and languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, C++, PostgreSQL), with hands-on experience building APIs, implementing webhooks, orchestrating data flows, and integrating systems across complex workflows.
Hands-on experience with LLM-powered workflows, AI automations, or AI-enabled customer/support experiences, including working with operational data to debug issues, improve workflows, and measure impact
Strong product and stakeholder instincts: you can translate ambiguous support problems into practical, adopted, and measurable technical solutions
Proven track record of designing AI workflows with clear guardrails, fallback paths, and responsible deployment practices
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience with support platforms like Zendesk, Decagon, Sprinklr, Gainsight, Maestro QA/Rippit, Assembled, Salesforce, or similar systems
Familiarity with agent assist tooling, AI support chatbots, copilot tooling, RAG, AI observability, or monitoring AI workflows in production
Experience building internal Slack tooling, workflow automations, or embedded support experiences
Background in Support Engineering, Internal Tools Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Support Operations, CX Systems, or Business Systems
Familiarity with customer support metrics such as containment, deflection, CSAT, first contact resolution, routing accuracy
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
