ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Engineer to design the systems behind how people at Baseten get access, stay secure, and move through their time here. This role builds the controls and automation that our IT Operations team runs every day across identity, client platforms, SaaS, and cloud access.
The goal is a corporate environment that’s secure by default and easy to use: access that’s right from day one, removed when it should be, and provable at any time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strengthen our identity platform with strong authentication, clean access models, and least privilege as the default.
- Automate the workforce lifecycle so that joining, changing roles, and leaving Baseten are fast, consistent, and need little manual work.
- Build reliable pipelines for OS updates, patching, and software deployment that keep the fleet current without disrupting people’s work.
- Connect device health to access decisions, so a compliant device is what earns access to sensitive systems.
- Recommend identity and security standards for our SaaS and AI tools, and make the secure configuration the easy path for teams adopting new ones.
- Bring governance to non-human identities (service accounts, API keys, AI agents) and replace long-lived credentials with better options wherever possible.
- Manage configuration as code across identity and endpoints to reduce drift, so audit readiness comes from the systems themselves instead of a separate workstream.
- Give IT Operations well-designed tools and guardrails, so they can handle more requests on their own, safely.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in IT engineering or corporate security engineering, ideally at a cloud-native company.
- Strong grounding in identity: SSO, MFA, provisioning, and the protocols behind them.
- Hands-on experience engineering macOS fleets at scale: MDM, configuration profiles, app packaging and deployment, and endpoint visibility and EDR tooling.
- Experience automating real workflows in code (Python, Bash, or similar), and comfort with infrastructure-as-code.
- A working understanding of SaaS and cloud access risks, and how to reduce them without blocking the business.
- Good judgment about when to build, when to buy, and when to leave something alone.
- Clear writing, and a track record of working across IT, People, Engineering, Legal, GRC and Security.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote opportunity for candidates located in Canada and US.
The Opportunity:
The Grafana Search & Storage squad is developing Grafana’s next-generation storage layer. As a key component of our App Platform, Unified Storage enables developers to build innovative applications using a Kubernetes-inspired Operator pattern to interact with data directly.

Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers
Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and
availability
Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running
Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team
Learn new skills by gaining a deeper understanding of our cloud product and our customers and getting to know the codebase of a large distributed system

You are customer focused
We build everything with our users in mind.
You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs
Pragmatism: You are able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback and then progress iteratively
Collaboration and communication: The smallest unit we have is a team. You’ll be working with your teammates in a fully remote setup. Good communication skills are a must
Solid experience with Go, Rust, Python, or other similar programming languages
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with large distributed systems
Experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way
Experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud o r experience with systems engineering
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
Bonus Points For:
Have been a user of Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles (including on-call for your team at a previous employer or just using these tools on hobby/homelab projects)
Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks or with the concept of infrastructure as code
In Canada, the OTE (On-Target Earnings)/Base compensation range for this role is CAD $164,490 - $197,389. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. ABOUT ELEVENLABS
ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology.
We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses - from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors are some of the world's most prominent, including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $22B - multiples of 11, always.
We have expanded from voice into three main platforms:
- ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale.
- ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
- ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.
Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. IOI medalists and ex-founders. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you.
HOW WE WORK
- High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy.
- Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you.
- AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations.
- Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.
- Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to define the trajectory of AI, surrounded by a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Growth paths: Joining ElevenLabs means joining a dynamic team with countless opportunities to drive impact - beyond your immediate role and responsibilities.
- Learning & development: ElevenLabs proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend.
- Social travel: We also provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year, however you choose.
- Annual team offsite: Each year, we bring your entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia, Italy and Cancún
- Co-working: If you’re not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're building agents that run real parts of our business, take on real work, and get better based on the results they produce. You'll build them with whatever is most capable right now: our own agents platform, the latest orchestration tools, and frontier models. The hard part is making them reliable, measurable, and safe enough for the business to depend on.
You'll sit in Marketing Engineering and be forward-deployed to our growth pods, where you'll find the problems worth solving and own the solutions end to end. You might be a forward-deployed builder, an applied AI engineer who has taken agents beyond the demo stage, or a full-stack engineer who is curious about growth.
REQUIREMENTS
- Python, SQL, LLM APIs and agent orchestration
- You've shipped production systems that other people relied on, starting from a vague problem
- You've built with LLMs beyond a demo and know how to evaluate them and where they fail
- You measure whether what you built worked
- Bonus: experience with GTM data or marketing systems.
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Europe, with the ability to operate in GMT and GMT+1 timezones. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London and Warsaw.

The team and its impact
Accounting Core builds the foundations behind Xero’s accounting records, helping ensure that when a business records invoices, payments and other activity, its accounting stays accurate and dependable. You’ll help evolve a mature platform by decoupling key accounting capabilities from the mature architecture and creating safer, more scalable paths for change across areas such as invoices, payments, bank transactions and reconciliation.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll own significant end-to-end initiatives from technical design through to production, helping decide how accounting capabilities can be separated from the monolith and evolved safely. You’ll stay hands-on in production code, work through trade-offs where accounting-data integrity and scalability matter, and collaborate closely with partner teams to ensure changes to the accounting engine support other Xero teams built on Accounting Core. You’ll also help raise engineering practices and quality standards as the Vancouver Accounting Core team continues to grow.
Technical Challenges:
- Decoupling a mature accounting platform: Help separate accounting capabilities from a monolith, creating clearer domain ownership and safer paths for change without compromising the integrity of the accounting record.
- Accounting correctness at scale: Design and evolve reliable services for critical financial data across areas such as invoices, payments, bank transactions and reconciliation.
- Shared foundations for product teams: Build capabilities and outputs that other Xero teams can rely on confidently, so they can deliver customer experiences without rebuilding core accounting foundations.
- Modernisation alongside delivery: Make incremental architectural improvements while continuing to deliver value for small businesses and their advisors.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- Proven track record of delivering highly available, distributed systems and high-throughput services on cloud-native platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of significant work, from design through to rollout and production validation, including the technical decisions that come with it.
- You think carefully about architecture and trade-offs, from API design to choosing the right data store, and you balance speed, quality and long-term maintainability.
- Proficiency in a modern backend stack, such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, Ruby or C++, and you are keen to learn C# and .NET, where existing experience is a bonus.
- Passion for staying hands-on, contributing to production code and technical deep dives, and using AI tools with good judgement to move faster and raise the quality bar.
- A commitment to Go Together by mentoring peers, sharing technical knowledge and helping teammates grow through code reviews, pairing and documentation.
Where and how you can work
This role is based in our Vancouver office, where we embrace a hybrid working model. You will have the flexibility to work from home while joining the team in the office for "boost days" (1-2 days a week) to collaborate, socialize, and solve complex problems in person.
Our Hiring Process
1. TX phone screen: a conversation with your Talent Specialist about your background, motivations and the role.
2. Technical assessments: a coding assessment and systems design assessment, conducted virtually with real engineers, and based on real-world scenarios.
3. Technical deep dive: walk through a past project you owned end-to-end, covering how you thought about it, executed it and led through its complexity.
4. Values / Future Proof Xero: how you show up day to day, aligned with Xero's values and capabilities such as adaptability, ownership, customer thinking and AI fluency.
Compensation & Total Rewards
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - ensuring your value is recognized through a holistic lens that includes base salary, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role is $155,000 - $205,000 CAD.
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: World-class health, wellness, and retirement programs. Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ including Wellbeing days, generous leave, and dedicated professional development budgets.
This is a posting for an existing vacancy.
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

The role and its impact
Payments Platform is one of Xero’s biggest areas of investment and growth - directly affecting how small businesses pay their people, buy supplies and take on their next opportunity. Here, we build the foundations for collecting and paying money through Xero, helping make payments simple, accurate and secure for customers while supporting multiple products, payment methods, providers and regions. You’ll help evolve a growing platform by building reusable, provider-agnostic capabilities across areas such as payment orchestration, provider integrations, onboarding, risk and compliance, reconciliation and bill payments.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll own significant end-to-end initiatives from technical design through to production, helping decide how payment capabilities are designed, integrated and operated as the platform scales. You’ll stay hands-on in production code, work through trade-offs where customer simplicity, financial control, reliability and scalability matter, and collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to deliver payment experiences that are secure, trusted and easy to use. You’ll also help shape engineering practices and quality standards as the Vancouver Payments Platform team continues to grow.
Technical Challenges:
- A shared payments platform: Own a capability within the platform, such as orchestration, risk and fraud, or multi-provider support, and deliver it end-to-end. You'll be helping teams launch new payment products faster without rebuilding the same foundations.
- Global bill payments: Make a complex financial process feel simple for small businesses while keeping it accurate, secure and connected to the accounting record.
- High throughput at scale: Design and deliver reliable, secure distributed services that remain dependable under real-world production constraints, with the monitoring and operational readiness to support them.
- Customer impact alongside architectural progress: Improve existing systems in steps, delivering customer value quickly while contributing to a coherent long-term architecture.
- AI capabilities customers can trust: Apply AI to challenging product problems while protecting customer trust, and help evaluate those capabilities with the same discipline as the rest of your work.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- Proven track record of delivering highly available, distributed systems and high-throughput services on cloud-native platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

We are looking for a high-impact, proactive
Senior Data Engineer
to join our Data Engineering team in Berlin. In this role, you won't just build pipelines—you will architect the data foundation that powers our next generation of casual games and advanced analytics, and AI-driven workflows. You will be in an environment where you can take full ownership of business outcomes, bridge technical execution with strategy, and proactively identify opportunities to optimize and scale our data transformation journey.
About the job
Data Architecture & Strategy:
Design and build resilient, scalable data infrastructure optimized for analytical workflows, feature stores, real-time context delivery, and AI-ready, well-documented data for agents and LLM applications.
Modern Pipeline Engineering:
Build, maintain, and optimize robust batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Scala, Python, SQL and dbt.
Data Warehousing & Lakehouse:
Architect clean, cost-efficient, and highly performance schemes across our cloud data warehouse platform on Snowflake.
AI-Enabled Engineering & Agentic Workflows:
Use AI as a daily force multiplier, not only for writing code but across the data lifecycle, from design and documentation to testing, debugging, and incident triage. Design, build, and operate agentic workflows (for example, agents that monitor pipelines, investigate data quality issues, generate and validate dbt models, or answer analysts’ questions against governed data), with proper guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
Quality, Reliability & Governance:
Implement automated testing, observability, and monitoring frameworks to guarantee high data reliability and low latency.
Engineering Excellence & Best Practices:
Follow rigorous CI/CD practices, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), version control, and clear documentation across all data assets.
Cross-Functional Enablement:
Collaborate closely with marketing managers, game teams, product managers, and data analysts to turn ambiguous business needs into high-impact data solutions.
About you
Relevant Experience:
In-depth professional experience as a software engineer or data engineer.
Data Engineering Expertise:
Strong background in senior data engineering roles with advanced proficiency in Python and complex SQL.
Strong Core Programming:
Deep professional experience in a strongly-typed language such as Scala, Java, or Go for building resilient data services.
Modern Stack Mastery:
Practical experience with cloud data platforms (favorable Snowflake), dbt and orchestration tools (we use Airflow).
AI & Agentic Experience:
Hands-on experience applying AI tools in your engineering work and building agentic workflows, including tool use or MCP integrations, orchestration, and evaluation. You know where agents add real value, where human review is essential, and how to keep them reliable, secure, and cost-aware.
Software Engineering Mindset:
Deep familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
Proactive & Impact-Driven:
Autonomous problem solver who evaluates technical decisions based on speed-to-market, business value, and ROI rather than theoretical complexity.
Collaborative Communicator:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical architecture to both engineering peers and business stakeholders.
Please note: Research has shown that some under-represented groups in the gaming industry (eg: women) tend to apply only if they meet every single requirement. Here at Wooga, the desire to learn and the willingness to solve problems are more important to us than your experience on paper. We encourage you to apply even if you do not think that you tick all the boxes - thinking outside of such boxes and embracing the diversity of mindsets and backgrounds is what we believe makes our teams thrive.
Our Promise
Shape the future! Challenge the status quo and team up with a diverse group of experts (over 50 nationalities!) working on crafting the world’s best games.
We offer a generous relocation package and home search support if you are not already located in Berlin. Did we mention that we also cooperate with Kindergartens?
Make use of a significant education budget and extra days off for self-development. Join our meet-ups, talks, brown bag lunches, internal trainings, workshops and many others.
Enjoy the yoga, mindfulness app, sports and transport subsidies. And a Purpose Day to donate your time to a worthy cause!
Did you know that German is the third most commonly taught language worldwide? Learn it too! We offer German language classes for you and your significant other.
With our hybrid work model you will work in the office with your teams twice a week, to encourage in-person collaboration and team bonding The other three days you can choose if you want to work from home or from the office. We also offer 10 days a year to work from abroad.
At Wooga we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for everyone who works here or with us, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion (or lack thereof) and game preferences.
