About us
OpenZeppelin is the security standard onchain finance is built on. Founded in 2015, our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to an open financial system, built on open standards and secured by rigorous research.
Our open-source Contract Libraries have facilitated over $35 trillion in onchain value and are used by 10 of the top 10 tokenized money market funds and 9 of the top 10 stablecoins by market cap.
We combine AI-native security tooling with deep research and a decade of audit expertise to support leading institutions and crypto-native teams shaping the next generation of digital assets like DTCC, Fidelity, Coinbase, Uniswap, Aave, the Ethereum Foundation, and many more across the full secure development lifecycle.
Please note:
Always refer to OpenZeppelin's official job page for the most accurate information about our open roles, as we have seen multiple third party job sites posting inaccurate information.
The Secure Development team ❤️
OpenZeppelin is the security partner of choice for the most important protocols in Web3. Our Secure Development team sits at the intersection of building and breaking: we design, implement, and harden production-grade libraries and smart contracts for leading projects across EVM, Starknet, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, Aptos, and beyond, often as an embedded extension of the client's engineering team.
We work the way the rest of the industry will five years from now. Every developer on the team is a fully AI-native engineer, supported by outstanding internal AI tooling built for every phase of secure development. Developers own their workstreams end-to-end — agents amplify their effectiveness, and peers, security researchers, and external auditors provide rigorous review on every piece of work that ships.
The Canton Network engagement
This role joins an active
24-month, multi-million-dollar commitment
to build the open-source DeFi foundations of the world's most institutional blockchain. You'll deliver production-ready Reference Implementations (privacy-preserving DEX, lending, cross-chain stablecoin settlement, confidential auction launchpad, and more), the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml that Canton developers will import, and Canton standards implementation.
Within this, you will:
Own features of the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml end to end, from design through audit: examples include a Timelock, access control, vaults, or token standard support.
Design and implement components of the year-1 Reference Implementations: privacy-preserving DEX, lending protocol, cross-chain stablecoin settlement, and confidential auction launchpad.
Implement and shepherd the OZ Daml versions of CIP-56, CIP-86, CIP-103, future CIPs. Coordinate with Digital Asset on spec evolution and with ChainSafe on middleware alignment.
Present and defend your designs in technical discussions with Digital Asset, the Canton Foundation, and other partners.
Work with OpenZeppelin's security researchers on threat models, audit preparation, and fixes for the components you own.
Use AI systems as core daily tools for research, design, implementation, testing, and security work. Build agents, skills, and workflows, and share what works with the team.
Contribute developer-experience and security feedback upstream into the Canton protocol, Splice, the Daml SDK, and the Splice Wallet Kernel.
Research privacy-preserving DeFi, multi-party authorization patterns, and Canton-specific primitives, and share what you learn with the team.
You have
Production Daml fluency.
You understand templates, choices, controllers/observers/signatories, multi-party authorization, sub-transaction views, and propose/accept patterns as first-class primitives. Running an SV, contributing to Splice internals, governance, or Canton Coin tokenomics.
Canton architecture depth.
You understand the network, not only the code: the Global Synchronizer and private synchronizers, what each party and synchronizer sees in a transaction, smart contract upgrades, and the token standards (CIP-56, CIP-112).
3+ years of smart contract development in production.
This includes hands-on work on Canton or another UTXO-based or privacy-preserving architecture (Cardano, Midnight, Zcash, Aleo, Mina, or similar). You can reason about Canton's privacy boundaries the way an EVM developer reasons about storage slots.
Production DeFi experience.
You have shipped DeFi primitives such as AMMs, vaults (ERC-4626 or equivalent), lending protocols, or cross-chain settlement, and you understand the security pitfalls of each. You know the standard EVM patterns (access control, token standards, lending pools, DEXs), because many Canton standards reuse them.
A security-first mindset.
This is non-negotiable. You build secure code by default, you think adversarially about every line you write, and you find vulnerabilities when you review Daml code. We look for a developer with a security mindset, not a security researcher. Published audits, threat models, or disclosures are a plus.
An AI-native workflow.
Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent is your daily driver. You know agents, harnesses, and skills, not only autocomplete. You hold AI output to the same standard as a colleague's pull request, and you stay accountable for everything you ship.
Fluency in client-facing communication (English)
Autonomy and proactivity.
Nice to have
Cryptography or financial-engineering background.
Privacy-preserving DeFi rewards both.
Institutional finance and compliance design experience.
Credential gates, multi-party attestation, custody flows, capital-markets microstructure, RWA tokenization, settlement.
Experience running an SV
, contributing to Splice internals, governance, or Canton Coin tokenomics.
Cross-chain interoperability exposure.
Production work with at least one major cross-chain messaging protocol (Chainlink CCIP, LayerZero, Wormhole, Axelar, or similar).
Library / SDK API design taste.
You've built reusable, import-first developer libraries, not just applications. You have opinions on extensibility patterns (hooks, modular components, override points) and on what makes an audited primitive
pleasant
to consume.
Experience applying AI to security work.
You've already used AI as a serious instrument in security workflows: audit assistance, vulnerability research, fuzzing, invariant or spec analysis, static-analysis augmentation, or similar.
Hands-on experience with non-EVM ecosystems.
Starknet, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, Aptos, Move-based chains.
Open-source contributions
to widely-used libraries in the smart-contract or AI-tooling space.

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Growth Engineer to own the technical foundation of Modal’s marketing and developer-facing web surfaces: the marketing site, docs site, growth landing pages, high-profile microsites, forms, analytics instrumentation, and the integrations that help users discover, understand, and get started with Modal.
This is a frontend-heavy role for someone with strong product taste, web engineering craft, and a business-owner mindset. You’ll partner with Product Engineering, Design, Data, and Growth to ship polished, measurable web experiences, from high-profile projects like the GPU Glossary https://modal.com/gpu-glossary and LLM Engine Advisor https://modal.com/llm-almanac/advisor to internal tooling that helps teams publish content faster.
When this role is going well, Modal launches new pages, docs experiences, campaigns, and experiments quickly without sacrificing performance, craft, or measurement.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own and evolve Modal’s marketing site, docs site, and technical web experiences as high-quality engineering systems, not static content
- Build bespoke interactive projects with engineers, turning deep technical work into useful web experiences for developers and agents
- Instrument all public-facing content, all the way from human-facing marketing pages to agent-targeted, self-improving documentation
- Improve internal publishing flows so more teams can ship quality content quickly while keeping the site maintainable
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You’ve built and shipped modern web applications end-to-end
- You have experience with agentic development flows where agents consume marketing content and docs to help developers build on Modal
- You can build polished, responsive web experiences without needing every detail specified
- You have a business-owner mindset and strong data intuition: you think about conversion, activation, developer trust, speed of launch, and quality of measurement, and the tradeoffs inherent to each
- You’re excited about developer-facing AI infrastructure and building web experiences that feel credible to engineers
- You’re able to work in person in our NYC office
We care more about what you’ve built than years of experience.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Deep knowledge of SEO, AEO, structured content, or agentic discoverability
- Experience with marketing sites, docs sites, or product-led-growth surfaces at a devtools, infra, or AI company
- Familiarity with our stack: Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite, MDX/SVX content systems, headless CMS (Sanity), Playwright/Vitest
- Familiarity with our integrations: Segment, Snowflake, PostHog, Sentry, Algolia/DocSearch, Fillout, Pylon, Ashby
- Experience designing growth experiments, A/B tests, or funnel instrumentation
- A portfolio of polished sites, docs systems, interactive demos, or growth experiments

Hi, I'm Brian, Senior Director of Engineering at Customer.io. We're looking for experienced engineers who want to own a channel end to end — from the infrastructure that delivers billions of messages reliably, to the product surfaces our customers use to build, send, and analyze their campaigns. You'll work across the stack, bringing both systems thinking and product craft to one of the most technically rich problem spaces in the industry.
You don't need email experience to apply.
We can teach you the email domain. The engineers who thrive here are the ones who love learning a deep problem space, not only the ones who arrive already knowing it.
About Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day. Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, Ember and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
Ownership
You own problems end to end. You move fast, act like an owner, and thrive in ambiguity. You've led complex projects before, whether officially or not, and you're ready to do it again.
Engineers with product taste
You think like a user, not just an engineer. You care how your systems power real customer value — and how to make them better.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You bring rigor and creativity. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
What You'll Do
Build and evolve the frontend experiences customers use to create, preview, and analyze campaigns — editors, configuration, and analytics dashboards
Design and scale backend systems that process high volumes of messages and events: queue management, retry logic, rate limiting, and real-time event pipelines
Build automated systems that respond intelligently to feedback signals from external providers — classification, suppression, throttling, and health scoring
Partner with in-house domain experts to turn their knowledge into automated tooling — you bring the systems skills, they bring the email depth
Instrument and monitor channel health end to end: signal detection, anomaly alerting, and observability
Own problems end to end — from architecture and schema design to testing, deployment, and monitoring
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Share knowledge and raise the bar through short videos, thoughtful writing, and mentorship
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems in Go (or similar statically typed languages)
Experience building product-facing frontend features in React or similar frameworks, with attention to UX quality and polish
Experience building or consuming APIs that handle high-throughput async workloads — event streams, queues, and systems that degrade gracefully under load
Comfort integrating with external systems you don't control — third-party APIs, rate limits, opaque failure modes — and designing for resilience around them
Comfort working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with relational databases (we use MySQL primarily) and an understanding of performance tradeoffs
Experience with observability tooling and operating production systems
A bias for action over perfection, and pride in owning technical decisions
Nice to have:
Familiarity with email infrastructure — deliverability, authentication standards (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), sender reputation, or high-volume sending
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including
100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family
. We also offer
16 weeks paid parental leave
,
unlimited PTO
, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

via Tailscale VPN, not local machines. SSH-based workflows required

level. Pushing secrets triggers alerts. Security consciousness is non-negotiable.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience building or integrating MCP servers and tools
• Background in LLM integration (API calls, prompt management, token optimization)
• Exposure to serverless architecture and microservices integration on AWS/GCP
• Experience in healthcare/veterinary/scheduling-heavy applications

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the technical foundation for Xsolla's field marketing tooling, a greenfield initiative spanning mobile and web applications used by internal teams and external partners at scale. You'll design and build systems that operate in high-traffic, low-reliability environments and integrate deeply with our CRM, marketing automation, and product ecosystems.
This role demands someone who thinks in systems, not screens. You'll make architecture decisions around real-time data sync, API orchestration across multiple third-party platforms, and device-level hardware integrations, all while shipping fast enough to keep pace with a global events calendar.
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Responsibilities:
Cross-platform React Native mobile application development targeting iOS and Android
Device hardware integration: camera, NFC, Bluetooth, QR/barcode scanning
Responsive, accessible interfaces built for both desktop admin workflows and on-the-ground tablet/mobile use
Real-time data visualization and reporting dashboards
Server-side rendering and static generation for high-performance public-facing pages
REST and webhook integration with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Apollo.io)
Marketing automation platform integration (Braze, Amplitude)
Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years shipping production web and mobile applications
Production AI/LLM integration experience: you've built features powered by OpenAI, Claude, or similar, not just experimented with them
Strong React Native experience with App Store and Google Play releases
Strong React/Next.js/TypeScript web development skills
Third-party API integration at scale: CRM, marketing automation, or similar enterprise platforms
Device hardware integration experience (camera, NFC, QR scanning)
Comfort owning the full stack - frontend, API layer, infrastructure, observability
Nice to Have:
Salesforce or Apollo.io API experience
Braze, Amplitude, or similar marketing platform SDKs
Kiosk, POS, or event technology background
Experience building tools for non-technical end users
GCP infrastructure experience

What You’ll Do
Design, evaluate, and ship AI-powered internal tools

Work end-to-end:
Own the full lifecycle, from problem definition and data modeling to building production-ready tools, including writing Python backends and React frontends.

Rapidly build with users, then productionize quickly to iterate and deliver impact.
Instrument for adoption and outcomes:
Define success through real usage and measurable business impact (e.g., improved win rate, conversion, expansion).
Evangelize and enable:
Document playbooks, run enablement sessions, and help leaders operationalize new tooling across teams.
What You Bring
Proven track record of applied data science with measurable GTM impact - you’ve shipped models or tools that moved metrics like conversion, cycle time, or retention.
LLM/ML application experience - familiarity with RAG, prompt and tool design, vector search, evals and have leveraged AI for development.
Excellent SQL skills and fluency in Python or R, with experience applying analytical and statistical methods to business problems.
Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., DBT, Airflow) for deploying reliable data workflows.
Strong communication and empathy - ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative
product mindset
- comfort working closely with Sales and Success teams to turn ambiguity into clear deliverables.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our Enterprise Platform team and build the infrastructure foundations that enable the world's largest organizations to run Replit within their security and compliance boundaries. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design and implement the deployment flexibility, networking capabilities, authorization systems, and data controls that enterprises require, from single-tenant architectures and private connectivity to custom policy enforcement and customer-managed encryption.
You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise requirements, partnering with Platform Engineering, Security, and Sales to ship capabilities that unlock adoption at demanding organizations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build enterprise deployment infrastructure: Design and implement single-tenant and dedicated deployment options, enabling customers to run Replit with the isolation guarantees their security posture requires.
- Implement private networking capabilities: Build VPC peering, private connectivity, and static IP configurations that allow enterprises to integrate Replit into their existing network architectures.
- Design authorization services: Build the authorization infrastructure that enforces custom enterprise policies; enabling fine-grained access controls, custom permission models, and policy enforcement that integrates with customers' existing identity and governance systems.
- Ship data protection features: Implement bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption, customer-managed keys, and data residency controls that give enterprises ownership over their most sensitive data.
- Develop infrastructure automation: Write Terraform modules and automation that enable reliable, repeatable enterprise deployments across regions and configurations.
- Debug and harden systems: Dive deep into complex infrastructure problems spanning networking, authorization, Kubernetes, and cloud services to make our enterprise platform more robust and diagnosable.
- Partner with go-to-market teams: Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand enterprise infrastructure requirements, scope technical solutions, and unblock deployments.
- Contribute to technical strategy: Help define SLAs/SLOs for enterprise infrastructure reliability; participate in build-vs-buy decisions for complex infrastructure capabilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Typescript or Python; you write high-quality, well-tested code.

Chicago Visual Communication Design Lead
In a nutshell:
We are looking for a Visual Communication Design Lead who can guide teams and clients through complex design challenges, setting the visual direction and elevating storytelling across engagements.
You’ll work collaboratively to bring our voices, stories, and concepts to life through exceptional visual craft. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design and experience applying practical and conceptual design across brand systems, interaction and digital product design, motion, and environments. We’re looking for designers who bring a distinctive visual voice, raise the bar for quality, and help others do the same.
In this role, you will…
As a Design Lead, you’ll own the visual direction of engagements and lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the design process from early research and exploration through prototyping, refinement, and client-facing storytelling.
You’ll contribute across a diverse portfolio of work spanning brand, experience, interaction, digital product, and service design. Your work may take many forms, including brand strategy and expression, storytelling systems, interaction and digital product design, data visualization, packaging, and environmental design.
Once here you will:
Lead project teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary designers
Collaborate closely with clients, using storytelling and design to make complex ideas clear and actionable
Turn research and open-ended questions into visual systems and stories that build empathy for people and bring their experiences to life for both teams and clients
Create and guide looks-like/works-like prototypes at different levels of fidelity to explore ideas and align teams
Support and grow other designers through thoughtful critique, collaboration, and hands-on craft leadership
Hold a high bar for visual quality while staying open to exploration, iteration, and learning
Champion visual communication as a powerful way to make ideas tangible and meaningful

Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, interaction design or an equivalent degree
Strong, versatile portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, visual storytelling, and leadership across complex work
Fluency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with experience using motion and design prototyping tools
Comfort shaping and delivering client-facing narratives using tools like Google Slides and FigJam/Figma Slides
Ability to balance hands-on making with direction-setting and mentorship
Diverse Experience:
Experience establishing and expressing brand identity—from strategy through execution—across systems, touchpoints, and mediums
Experience leading visual work across interaction and digital product experiences, not just static artifacts
Experience leading client work and multidisciplinary teams through complex, often ambiguous design challenges
Experience working across industries and project types, adapting craft to context and audience

- 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Typescript or Python; you write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies in production environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPCs, peering, private connectivity, load balancers, DNS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems: OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC models, policy enforcement.
