From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion is shaping the future of Go-To-Market, and as a Solutions Consultant (SC), you’ll bring that future to life by building alongside customers and turning their biggest challenges into measurable outcomes. As a customer-facing, quota-carrying SC, you’ll bring together technical fluency and commercial ownership to grow your book of business. You’ll build pipeline with BDRs, engage key stakeholders, lead discovery, co-build workflow solutions live with customers, and guide opportunities through close. You’ll connect each solution to a clear business case and stay engaged through adoption, expansion, and renewal so customers realize the value of what they buy.
You’ll partner with BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists while maintaining clear ownership of customer relationships, opportunity momentum, and next steps. If you’re a builder who loves to sell—and want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, and enterprise—this is the role.
WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE
- Create pipeline across your book of business. Build target-account plans with BDRs and initiate outreach to priority stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, alongside BDR-sourced pipeline.
- Own opportunities from first conversation through close. Lead discovery, qualify business needs and urgency, align stakeholders, shape the solution and business case, and drive the evaluation and commercial decision. Navigate commercial sizing, proposal construction, procurement, legal, and security review to close deals with the right scope, credits, and implementation path.
- Design and validate workflow solutions that deliver measurable value. Map current- and future-state workflows, co-build solutions live in Notion, and define realistic scope, success criteria, and an implementation path. Translate customer needs and validated outcomes into a clear business case, commercial recommendation, and decision path. Treat discovery as an opportunity to build and validate.
- Orchestrate the right partners while maintaining ownership. Engage BDRs, Outcomes Architects, and technical or product specialists at the right moments, with clear context and asks, while owning opportunity momentum, customer communication, and next steps.
- Drive customer value and commercial growth after signature. Partner with Outcomes Architects, guide the initial path to value with a clear adoption plan, on onboarding and ongoing multi-workflow adoption, and own expansion strategy and renewal planning. Stay accountable for translating credits sold into credits consumed, and surface risks or expansion opportunities as customer workflows mature.
SKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
- Commercial ownership and pipeline generation. You can demonstrate how you created or advanced business, influenced customer decisions, and owned measurable outcomes. Relevant experience may come from quota-carrying sales or adjacent customer-facing roles.
- Technical fluency and builder mindset. You are comfortable building live in software and can demo, co-design, and troubleshoot with a customer without needing a specialist in the room.
- AI fluency. You are excited about AI, build with new tools, and continually learn new ways of working.
- Discovery, qualification, and value articulation. You can uncover customer needs, map workflows, qualify business impact and urgency, and translate what you learn into commercial outcomes, adoption plans, and clear success criteria.
- Agency, urgency, and learning velocity. You set clear goals, take initiative, learn from customer interactions, and apply those learnings to improve outcomes. You bring new ideas and workflows to customers and make complex problems easier to solve.
- Complex customer engagement. You can lead multi-stakeholder interactions and navigate procurement, legal, and security review cycles.
NICE TO HAVES
- Full-cycle B2B software sales experience or solutions engineering experience, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota across new-logo acquisition and expansion motions.
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models and the ability to structure credit-based commercial proposals.
- Prior experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts in productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Experience in a shared account ownership model, partnering with a post-sale or Customer Success team as part of an integrated customer motion.
- Fluency in Dutch

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ROLE SUMMARY
As our Account Executive for the Nordics Public Sector, based in Sweden, you will be instrumental in shaping Mistral AI's adoption across government, healthcare, education, and other public-sector institutions throughout Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
You will own the full deal cycle end-to-end — from strategic prospecting and the first intro call through to closing, deployment, and expansion — working in close partnership with our dedicated implementation specialists, technical and legal teams.
This is a unique opportunity to bring sovereign, high-performance, and cost-efficient AI to the institutions that shape everyday life in the Nordics.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Territory & lead development
- Own the Nordics public-sector territory and build a multi-year, account-based plan covering central and local government, agencies, healthcare, and higher education across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
- Drive strategic outbound and qualified inbound outreach to public-sector buyers and the consultancies/integrators that influence their decisions.
- Convert inbound demand where upselling, framework agreements, or bespoke contracts can be achieved.
Public-sector procurement & value validation
- Guide customers through Proof of Concept (POC) phases, ensuring a smooth and successful evaluation, including alignment with security, compliance, and sovereignty requirements typical of Nordic public tenders.
- Navigate procurement frameworks and translate successful POCs into long-term, revenue-generating framework or call-off agreements.
- Translate Mistral's value proposition into public-sector outcomes: efficiency, transparency, cost control, language coverage, data residency and ethical AI.
Deal management & closing
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to convert leads into valued, long-term public-sector customers.
- Act as the first point of contact for all external stakeholders — coordinating customer engineering, product, commercial, procurement and C-level stakeholders on both operational and executive levels.
- Lead customer negotiation end-to-end, in partnership with our legal and implementation specialist teams, including framework contracts, data-processing agreements and public-sector compliance requirements.
Executive engagement
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level and Director-level executives across government agencies, regions/municipalities, hospitals, and universities — as well as heads of innovation, AI and digitalization.
- Understand their specific policy, regulatory, and operational challenges, and position Mistral's platform as an integral part of their strategic digitalization and AI initiatives.
Technical aptitude
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical intricacies of our products and articulate their value to both technical and non-technical public-sector audiences.
- Work side-by-side with our implementation team to ensure customer questions, concerns, and challenges are handled during pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment — including reference architectures for sovereign deployments.
- Collaborate with our technical teams to address security, data-residency and integration inquiries
Training & enablement
- Empower internal teams with the knowledge, win-loss insights and market feedback gathered in customer conversations to drive product roadmap priorities and go-to-market alignment for the public sector.
- Contribute to building reusable playbooks, references and case studies that accelerate public-sector adoption across the Nordics and broader Europe.
WHO YOU ARE
- 7–10 years of experience in enterprise sales or consultative selling, ideally selling a highly complex, technical product to large organizations.
- Public-sector track record: demonstrable experience selling to or partnering with Nordic governments, agencies, regions/municipalities, healthcare, or higher-education institutions — including familiarity with public procurement processes and frameworks.
- Nordics market knowledge: strong existing network and cultural fluency across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
- Significant work experience within the AI ecosystem or a related data/infrastructure/cloud field.
- Experience at a successful, fast-growing startup — ideally in deep-tech.
- Strong technical skills to navigate quickly evolving products and steer technical discussions confidently.
- Excellent academics: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent English and fluent Swedish; additional Nordic languages (Danish, Norwegian, Finnish) are a strong plus. Other European languages welcome.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills — with the credibility to engage both technical teams and senior public-sector decision-makers.
- Comfortable operating in a low-ego, fast-moving, and highly collaborative environment; a self-starter comfortable working remote-first with regular travel across the Nordics and to Mistral hubs.

THE ROLE
As Staff AI Deployment Strategist, you will shape how some of the most ambitious enterprises in the UK & Nordics region adopt frontier AI at scale.
This is a senior, high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. You will work directly on Mistral’s most strategic opportunities and largest deliveries, helping customers move from ambition to measurable business outcomes. You will frame complex AI transformation programs, turn executive priorities into actionable roadmaps, and ensure that Mistral delivers systems that are valuable, scalable, and trusted.
You will also act as a senior sponsor on our most critical customer programs, bringing judgment, structure, and delivery excellence to high-stakes engagements. Your mandate is to raise the ambition and quality of AI adoption: helping customers identify where AI can create step-change value, making the right trade-offs, and ensuring that execution matches the strategic promise.
This role is ideal for an experienced strategy consultant, transformation leader, or senior operator who wants to move from advising on change to building it directly with frontier AI technology.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Shape high-impact AI transformations
- Partner closely with Mistral’s Sales leadership in the UK & Nordics to qualify opportunities, align on account strategy, and drive executive engagement.
- Work with senior customer stakeholders to identify where frontier AI can create material business value.
- Structure complex opportunities into clear, credible, and executable transformation programs.
- Translate strategic ambition into delivery roadmaps, success metrics, and operating plans.
- Help customers make the right trade-offs between ambition, feasibility, speed, and long-term scalability.
- Sponsor Mistral’s most strategic deliveries
- Act as a senior sponsor on the largest and most complex customer programs, primarily in the UK & Nordics and potentially cross-region as priorities evolve.
- Ensure delivery quality, executive alignment, and measurable business impact.
- Anticipate risks, unblock decisions, and help teams navigate ambiguity in high-stakes environments.
- Bring senior judgment to moments where scope, resources, timelines, or expected value need to be clarified.
- Build repeatable deployment excellence
- Turn lessons from strategic engagements into reusable approaches, playbooks, and patterns.
- Raise the bar for how AI programs are qualified, framed, delivered, and scaled.
- Act as a senior relay for the Solutions organization in the region, helping teams adopt shared best practices, adapt them thoughtfully to local market specificities when needed, and strengthen the quality of execution.
- Work hand in hand with Solutions leadership to connect customer realities, delivery patterns, and field feedback into practical ways of improving how Mistral deploys AI.
- Help codify what great enterprise AI deployment looks like across industries and use cases.
- Contribute to a Solutions culture that combines strategic clarity, technical depth, and strong execution.
- Develop and multiply senior DS impact
- Coach Deployment Strategists on strategic problem-solving, executive communication, and delivery leadership.
- Help teams raise the quality of their work on the highest-impact opportunities.
- Identify capability gaps and contribute to hiring, staffing, and development priorities.
- Act as a force multiplier across accounts, teams, and regions where your experience can have the highest leverage.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are a senior, highly capable professional with strong executive presence, excellent business judgment, and a track record of leading complex strategic or transformation work.
Typical indicators we’re looking for include:
- 8–10+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting, digital transformation, AI, enterprise technology, or a similarly demanding environment.
- Experience operating at Partner, Principal, Engagement Manager, Director, or equivalent level in a top-tier strategy consulting or transformation context.
- A strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify value, and turn strategy into execution.
- Experience leading large accounts, complex programs, or senior customer relationships.
- The credibility to engage with executives and C-level stakeholders on business priorities, trade-offs, and impact.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Comfort working at the frontier of technology, even when solutions are evolving quickly and the path is not fully defined.
- A low-ego, high-ownership mindset and a desire to build with customers and teams, not just advise from a distance.
- Fluency in English; German is a strong plus.
