ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Manager, Growth at Ramp, you’ll drive acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across our product suite. You’ll identify opportunities to help more businesses discover Ramp, get value from our products, and expand their usage over time.
You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and data scientists to develop and execute a growth strategy grounded in customer insight and experimentation. Your scope will include core product experiences and partner-led growth channels, with ownership from identifying an opportunity through launching, measuring, and scaling solutions.
You’ll identify opportunities to use AI to help businesses discover relevant Ramp products, reach value faster, and expand their usage over time. You’ll balance rapid experimentation with the accuracy, transparency, and customer trust required when building financial products.
Please note that this Product Management role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at one of our NYC or SF offices at least 2 days/week
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute a growth product strategy across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, helping businesses get more value from Ramp
- Own the roadmap, priorities, and execution for a defined growth surface area, from identifying opportunities through launching, measuring, and scaling solutions
- Lead the ideation, development, and launch of growth experiences, including AI-powered approaches to onboarding, product discovery, recommendations, and cross-sell
- Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and data science to deliver high-impact initiatives across core product experiences and partner-led growth channels
- Conduct customer research and analyze product metrics and feedback to understand where finance teams encounter friction and identify opportunities to improve adoption
- Define and track growth KPIs, design controlled experiments where feasible, and use results to distinguish incremental impact from underlying trends
- Evaluate AI-powered experiences for both growth impact and quality, including accuracy, relevance, and reliability; balance rapid iteration with safeguards for sensitive financial data, transparency, and customer control
- Turn successful experiments into durable product improvements and contribute to the practices that help Ramp’s product management function scale
WHAT YOU NEED
- BA/BS in mathematics, technical, or analytical field
- Minimum 4 years of product management experience, building technical products from ideation to launch
- Data-Driven Mindset – Fluency in crafting data-driven narratives. You enjoy writing SQL to answer your own questions and thrive on leveraging data to shape and communicate a strategic vision.
- Slope - We value slope over intercept; We’re looking for a high-growth team member who can be a future leader at Ramp
- Leadership & Collaboration – Proven ability to build alignment across cross-functional teams, inspire stakeholders, and lead initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools.
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The LangSmith team owns and builds LangChain's core platform for observability, evaluation, and production reliability of AI systems. From tracing and annotation to run rules, evaluations, and beyond, this team owns LangSmith end-to-end. If you want to define what great AI observability looks like at production scale, this is where that work gets done.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Product Manager to own key parts of LangSmith. Building AI products is changing the way software teams work; LangSmith is the observability, evals and deployment platform that makes shipping reliable AI systems possible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
This role sits at the intersection of user experience and production infrastructure. You'll partner with engineers to build features that feel intuitive while solving deeply technical problems: versioning complex prompt chains, debugging multi-step agent failures, or designing evaluation systems that scale from 10 to 10,000 test cases.
You'll work directly with customers — from early-stage startups shipping their first agent to enterprises running mission-critical AI systems — to understand where the platform breaks down and what capabilities unlock new workflows.
- Own the roadmap for a core area of the LangSmith platform.
- Work with customers to understand their challenges and define new product features.
- Work with engineering to define scope, make technical tradeoffs, and ship high-impact features quickly.
- Help shape product strategy alongside our founders and leadership team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 3+ years of product management or engineering experience, ideally building developer tools, infrastructure products, or technical SaaS platforms.
- Deeply technical — you can hold your own in conversations about API design, system architecture, data pipelines, and debugging production issues.
- Bias toward action — you'd rather ship, learn, and iterate than build the perfect solution upfront.
- Strong written and verbal communicator who can align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
NICE TO HAVE
- Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup or developer-focused company.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, or AI applications.
- Annual salary range: $180,000-$240,000
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.
