We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle
This is a rare PM role with true vertical ownership across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage research and pre-training through post-training, UX buildout, GTM strategy, and pricing. It gives the right person a GM-like mandate to drive product decisions end-to-end, in a way that’s unique for a company of our scale.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to build the AI tools our customers will rely on. You have a real engineering or quantitative foundation and a track record of shipping products. You can take the state-of-the-art systems our research team builds and turn them into products that creators love.
You’ll deeply understand what users want, what’s technically possible, and what’s strategic for our business. You’ll be the bridge between our users and our internal teams, so we ship our models and products with the most value for Runway’s creators.
This role is a fundamental and critical part of the team at a market-defining company in its early stages.
What you’ll do
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for your area, from early model development through launch, pricing, and go-to-market
- Partner with research to shape what gets built, translating customer needs and model capabilities into clear product requirements and priorities
- Work closely with engineering and design to ship new products and continuously improve existing ones, making sound technical tradeoffs along the way
- Define and analyze product metrics, run A/B tests, and use data (including your own SQL and Python analysis) to validate pain points and prioritize features
- Talk with users weekly to uncover use cases and turn feedback into product decisions
- Drive pricing and GTM strategy in partnership with business teams
What you’ll need
- 4+ years of product management experience, including taking products from zero to one
- A strong technical foundation, typically demonstrated by things like the following:
- A degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, HCI, math, statistics, or physics
- Professional experience writing code before the LLM codegen era (e.g., as a software engineer, data scientist, data analyst, or technical founder who built and bootstrapped a product)
- Hands-on fluency with SQL, Python, AI code generation tools, and version control best practices
- Working knowledge of current ML capabilities and products, and the ability to discuss tradeoffs with researchers and engineers
- Experience in fast-moving teams, with comfort operating amid ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with generative AI, creative tools, or media products
- Experience owning pricing or GTM for a product
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

ABOUT THE TEAM
When the world's largest organizations bet on Mural, Govern & Trust is the team that earns that trust at scale. We build the experiences that help enterprises roll out Mural with confidence, keep it secure, and see the impact it has on how their people work. Data sits at the center of it all. Admins are Mural's most demanding data consumers: they need to prove ROI to their leadership, guide adoption across thousands of people, and account for every action. If data products can meet their bar, they'll work for everyone.
Mural has a modern data platform, strong data engineering and analytics teams, and a wealth of data on how teams collaborate. The next step is treating that data as a product in its own right, with a dedicated owner for what it means and how it's used.
YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Product Manager you'll define the metrics that describe how Mural creates value, and make them the shared foundation for everything built on top. The same definitions will power internal product decisions, the Insights experience Admins use in the product, and the reporting API and MCP server that customers and AI agents query.
This role starts upstream. You'll work from raw product events to decide what each metric should measure, how it's calculated, and what the data needs to look like for customers and internal teams to rely on it. Then you'll turn those metrics into experiences that help organizations understand and grow their use of Mural.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- The evolution of data products. Shape how Mural's data products move from reporting on what happened to guiding what happens next. Work across the Govern & Trust portfolio to define how insights become part of how organizations run Mural.
- The metric layer. Define Mural's shared, cross-product metrics, like activity, collaboration, and adoption. Set the standards that let product teams define and publish their own metrics consistently. Data Engineering builds and runs the layer; you shape what goes in it and how it evolves.
- Internal product analytics. Be a thought partner to domain PMs as they set their north-star metrics, and make product data easy for them to explore on their own. Work with Business Analytics to keep product-facing and business-facing reporting working together.
- Customer-facing data products. Own the strategy and roadmap for Insights: in-product reporting and dashboards, exports and APIs, audit logs, and the methodology behind every number customers see.
- AI and agent access. Package and launch Mural's customer-facing reporting MCP server: which data it exposes, which plans get it, and what guardrails apply. Define how natural-language and agent-driven analysis extends Insights.
- Instrumentation. R&D teams own emitting events. Your job is to raise the bar on what they emit. Set per-product requirements for granularity and retention, which differ for audit logs, activity data, and product analytics. Partner with Data Engineering on event standards so metrics start from good data.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of product management experience, including shipping at least one analytics or reporting product used by paying business customers. You defined the metrics behind it, not just the UI.
- A track record of making messy or conflicting data trustworthy: reconciling competing definitions, writing metric specs engineers could build from, and getting instrumentation changed upstream.
- Experience building both platform products, where your customers are internal teams or developers, and end-user-facing data products like analytics, reporting, or insights. You understand how the two have to work together.
- Working knowledge of modern data stacks: event pipelines, warehouses and lakehouses, dbt-style modeling, and semantic layers. You can write SQL and pull data yourself.
- The ability to get agreement on definitions across teams you don't manage, including PMs, data engineering, analytics, finance, and go-to-market.
- Experience with enterprise admin or governance products (IAM, security, compliance, audit)
- Hands-on experience with semantic layer tools (dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, LookML)
- Experience designing APIs, MCP servers, or connectors for analytics

- Run a single roadmap for protective features across app protection, identity verification, authentication, and transaction control, and take each initiative from discovery to rollout with engineering.
- Research emerging fraud schemes, attack vectors, and security tools, benchmark how leading banks and digital platforms protect accounts, and turn findings into product changes.
What you’ll own:
- Own the roadmap for mobile security and antifraud: objectives, success measures, scope, and release sequencing, prioritized by risk reduction, business impact, effort, and customer experience.
- Own authentication and authorization journeys: passwords, OTP, biometrics, passkeys, Google and Apple login, and account recovery.
- Own identity verification flows: selfie verification, face matching, and liveness detection.
- Own device enrollment, trusted-device management, and app protection: app integrity, root/jailbreak detection, and device attestation.
- Define risk-based controls for sensitive actions and transactions: step-up authentication and real-time fraud signals built with the antifraud team.
- Protect customers from account takeover, unauthorized access, identity fraud, and account abuse, while balancing security with authentication conversion and operational efficiency.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2+ years of experience in security, with a strong command of product management
- Experience in a regulated environment: banking, lending, or similar
- Ability to turn security and risk requirements into clear product specs and engineering tasks
- Experience driving an initiative end-to-end: discovery, design, rollout, performance evaluation
- Intermediate English

🎯 Your main goal will be to help enterprise customers turn automation from isolated workflow wins into a scalable operating model that drives measurable business impact.
To do so, you’ll lead the business, adoption, and governance workstream across high-value enterprise deployments:
DRIVE CUSTOMER OUTCOMES DURING DEPLOYMENTS
- Lead the organizational workstream during focused on-site deployments, from executive kickoff to closeout.
- Partner closely with a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn customer problems into adopted workflows that solve real operational pain.
- Keep the engagement focused on the highest-value opportunities, not just the most technically interesting ones.
BUILD THE AUTOMATION OPERATING MODEL
- Guide customers in implementing the automation operating and governance model they need to scale n8n sustainably.
- Help define ownership, decision-making, prioritization, enablement, and adoption practices across technical and business teams.
- Leave customers more capable and confident by making automation part of how their organization works.
IDENTIFY, PRIORITIZE, AND PROVE AUTOMATION OPPORTUNITIES
- Map business processes to uncover high-impact automation opportunities across unfamiliar customer environments.
- Develop and manage an automation roadmap with clear prioritization criteria, sequencing, and ROI logic.
- Build business cases in the customer’s language by estimating impact, modeling value, and connecting automation to executive priorities.
NAVIGATE ORGANIZATIONS AND SCALE WHAT WORKS
- Build trust across technical teams, operators, executives, champions, skeptics, and the people who actually make decisions.
- Identify upsell and expansion signals during engagements and hand them cleanly to the Customer Success team.
- Feed learnings from every deployment into n8n’s internal playbooks, product feedback loops, and repeatable deployment motions.
