ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Director of Marketing who is a sharp strategic storyteller and a hands-on operator to join our Advertising & Rewards division. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to own positioning and go-to-market at the intersection of several high-growth opportunities: a B2B advertising business, a B2C rewards app, a zero-party data and rewards platform, an on-chain identity and attribution layer, and a major strategic brand initiative.
Strong narrative development, messaging, and launch GTM skills are essential, along with experience turning complex, multi-product technology into clear, compelling stories for very different audiences — game developers, app marketers, and brand advertisers. The ability to build go-to-market from the ground up, owning positioning and enablement end to end, will be key to your success in this role.
If you’re passionate about crafting stories that make emerging technology click for buyers and love helping game developers and brands connect with players through advertising and rewards, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio GTM
Co-develop and operationalize an integrated go-to-market strategy across the Advertising & Rewards portfolio, supporting Xsolla Ads, Rewards, Xsolla Choice, and Xsolla ID+ and Backpack.
Translate strategic direction into positioning, messaging, launch roadmaps, and measurable GTM outcomes for each product and initiative.
Act as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across every workstream.
Provide thought leadership on narrative development, competitive positioning, and content strategy as the portfolio and brand initiative scale.
Contribute to future marketing team design as the division builds out brand and agency sales.
Brand & Agency Sales Growth
Build the new narrative, messaging, and marketing plan required to support Xsolla Ads’ expansion into brand and agency sales.
Partner with the Currency team on the company’s strategic brand initiative, helping define and roll out Xsolla’s new positioning.
Build the messaging foundation and sales enablement that the emerging brand sales team will carry to market.
Translate the new brand positioning into a consistent story across products, sales, and external communications.
Messaging & Cross-Product Narrative
Own the cross-product narrative that ties the portfolio into one coherent story across Choice, ID+ and Backpack, Rewards, and Ads.
Build core messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points for each audience, keeping them consistent across web, sales, PR, and events.
Make complex and emerging concepts, including Web3, on-chain attribution, and zero-party data, legible and compelling to non-technical buyers.
Sales Enablement & Content
Translate positioning into the assets the field needs: decks, one-pagers, case studies, demand stories, web and landing-page copy, and event narratives.
Equip BD and sales teams, including the advertiser outreach team and the new brand sales team, with the assets, talk tracks, and competitive positioning they need to win.
Develop audience- and persona-specific demand stories for both gaming and non-gaming ICPs, with alignment and feedback from BD.
Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Leadership
Own the marketing operating model across the portfolio, including campaign intake, prioritization, GTM documentation, and approvals.
Maintain GTM calendars and a coordinated launch and event drumbeat across the year, and surface trends, risks, and optimization opportunities to the VP of Marketing.
Partner across product, growth, design, BD, legal, finance, and central marketing to keep launches on-brand and on time.
Coordinate with the central Xsolla marketing team to ensure division campaigns stay consistent with brand standards and broader GTM strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
7–8 years of experience in marketing or GTM, with a proven track record of owning product launches and positioning end to end.
Mastery of positioning, messaging, and narrative — able to turn complex, multi-product technology into a clear story for multiple audiences.
Experience launching products across both B2B and B2C, and to multiple ICPs (developers, marketers, brand advertisers).
Strong cross-functional leadership in a matrixed organization; comfortable being the bridge between product, sales, and marketing.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt voice across executive narratives, sales enablement, and customer-facing copy.
Comfort with emerging and technical categories — Web3 and on-chain, identity and zero-party data, ad tech, and loyalty — and the ability to make them legible to non-technical buyers.
Highly organized and self-directed — able to manage multiple concurrent launches without things falling through the cracks.
Collaborative team player comfortable interfacing with product, creative, growth, BD, and sales stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience in gaming or games-adjacent industries.
Background in ad tech, programmatic, or loyalty and rewards.
Web3, crypto, or identity and privacy marketing experience.
Experience standing up sales enablement for a new or newly formed sales team.
Background in B2B SaaS GTM strategy.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a commercially driven, analytically sharp, and results-oriented Account Manager to join the Xsolla Offerwall team. This is an exciting opportunity to own the advertiser side of a premium rewarded inventory network at the intersection of mobile gaming, user acquisition, and advertising technology. The best candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and is passionate about helping game studios achieve their acquisition goals through performance-driven advertising.
In this client-facing role, you'll build and grow relationships with gaming studios and UA teams, optimizing campaign performance and ensuring partners get measurable results through Xsolla's Offerwall. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to advertisers, translating data into actionable strategies, and collaborate closely with Xsolla's product, operations, and technical teams to continuously improve the partner experience.
Strong account management skills, a deep familiarity with mobile gaming and performance advertising, and the ability to balance day-to-day campaign management with long-term partner growth will be key to your success. If you're energized by the intersection of gaming and performance marketing and love building meaningful advertiser relationships, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Partner Growth & Account Management
Guide new publisher integrations from onboarding through launch, nurture long-term monetization partnerships, and expand existing accounts by driving adoption and incremental revenue growth through Xsolla's Offerwall.
Balance multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering results under shifting timelines.
Maintain deep knowledge of mobile advertising, the rewarded ecosystem, and app monetization models to ensure partner strategies stay competitive.
Problem Solving & Diagnostics
Serve as the first line of defense when a partner reports a performance drop, integration bug, or unexpected revenue anomaly — approaching each issue methodically: isolate the variable, form a hypothesis, and validate it against the data before proposing a fix.
Analyze data to uncover trends, diagnose challenges, and recommend optimization strategies that drive measurable revenue impact, distinguishing symptoms from root causes rather than treating surface-level fixes as solutions.
Own ambiguous, cross-functional problems end-to-end — coordinating with product, engineering, and operations to identify what's broken, why, and what the right fix is, even when the answer isn't immediately obvious.
Anticipate downstream issues before they escalate, using pattern recognition from past partner problems to flag risks proactively rather than reactively.
Strategic Relationships & Executive Communication
Own and cultivate strategic relationships with senior and executive stakeholders at publisher partners, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional point of contact.
Prepare and deliver executive-level business reviews, business cases, and growth roadmaps that translate complex data and problem resolutions into clear, actionable business outcomes for senior decision-makers.
Tailor communication style and depth to the audience — distilling technical or operational detail into strategic narratives when presenting to executives, while retaining the ability to go deep on the details with day-to-day partner contacts.
Represent Xsolla in high-stakes conversations (renewals, escalations, strategic planning) where executive trust and credibility directly influence partner retention and growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, operations, and technical teams to implement partner requirements and resolve potential blockers, and know when an issue needs to be surfaced to internal leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience
3+ years in digital media, mobile advertising, programmatic, or related SaaS/AdTech account management, sales, or business development.
Demonstrated ability to grow client portfolios, negotiate partnerships, and achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Problem-Solving Mindset
A structured approach to ambiguity — comfortable breaking down a messy, undefined problem into testable pieces rather than waiting for someone else to define the issue.
Track record of resolving complex, cross-functional issues independently, knowing when to dig in personally versus when to loop in the right internal stakeholder.
Genuine curiosity about "why" — treats every escalation or performance dip as a question to be answered with data, not just a ticket to be closed.
Resilience and resourcefulness when the first solution doesn't work; iterates rather than stalls.
Analytical Strength
Comfortable interpreting data sets (e.g., KPIs such as CPM, CTR, LTV, retention, or ARPU) and translating insights into strategy and root-cause diagnosis.
Communication & Executive Presence
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation ability; adept at simplifying technical and performance concepts for diverse audiences, including senior and executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience managing strategic relationships with VP or C-level contacts, including leading executive business reviews and high-stakes partner conversations.
Proven success working with cross-functional groups, particularly product, operations, and technical teams, to drive problems to closure.
Industry Knowledge
Understanding of mobile ecosystems, rewarded ads, ad monetization strategies, and performance marketing models.
Mindset
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven; thrives in fast-moving environments with minimal structure.
Views obstacles as puzzles to be solved rather than blockers to be reported.
Tools
Proficiency in productivity and analytics tools (e.g., Google Sheets, BI dashboards, CRM platforms, and presentation software).
Benefits:
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. 1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Developers build trust in a company through the people they meet and the experiences they have with it. We’re looking for someone to shape those experiences for 1Password.
You’ll lead our developer events and in-person community strategy: choosing where we show up, creating gatherings worth returning to, and building relationships that continue after everyone leaves the room. You’ll own the strategy and the details, from deciding whether a conference is worth the investment to welcoming developers at an event you helped produce.
You’ll start with San Francisco and New York City and help expand the program to other cities over time.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within the US, with a preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
What you can expect:
- Shape our events strategy. Build a thoughtful calendar of conferences, meetups, and 1Password-hosted events. Recommend where we should sponsor, speak, participate, or host our own gathering.
- Own conference and sponsorship decisions. Evaluate opportunities, manage organizer relationships and budgets, partner with our events team on execution, and use results to guide future investment.
- Create developer events people want to attend. Plan and run meetups, workshops, dinners, and other gatherings. Own the experience from format and speakers through venue, invitations, and on-site execution.
- Build community between events. Create ways for developers to stay connected, return, contribute, and bring others in. Treat each event as the beginning of a relationship.
- Show up in person. Be an active host and 1Password representative. You’re comfortable handling the practical details on site and having substantive conversations with developers.
- Connect events to the broader DevRel program. Partner with our Principal Developer Advocate on talks, technical content, and experiences that give developers a reason to engage.
- Work closely with marketing and sales. Build useful follow-up paths, share what you’re learning from the community, and measure how events contribute to relationships, adoption, and pipeline.
- Tell the story as it happens. Capture photos, short videos, and takeaways that help extend the reach of our events on LinkedIn and X.
What we're looking for:
- Experience building developer events or communities, ideally at a developer tools, infrastructure, or technology company.
- A track record of growing an engaged community, beyond increasing registrations or attendance.
- Strong event production skills. You know how to make an event feel welcoming, useful, and well run, and you can handle the unexpected on site.
- Experience managing sponsorships, vendors, and budgets, with sound judgment about where to invest.
- Comfort working with developer advocates, marketing, and sales to turn in-person engagement into lasting relationships.
- Strong relationships and communication skills with developers, organizers, speakers, partners, and internal teams.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize well, and travel as the program grows.
Bonus points if you have existing relationships in the San Francisco or New York developer communities, or experience working in security, identity, or infrastructure.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 USD and $186,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Our culture
At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first.
You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
