About Salmon Bank
Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., the banking arm of Salmon Group Ltd., is a technology-driven challenger bank in the Philippines operating under a BSP license. We combine the trust of a licensed institution with the speed and convenience of a modern financial product. Work within regulated financial infrastructure, where product, risk, compliance, operations, technology, and customer experience are closely connected.
The Role
We are building our MSME lending business from the ground up and are looking for an experienced Underwriting Lead to design and own the credit function. This is a hands-on builder role — you will not inherit a finished framework. You will design it, document it, and develop the team that runs it. If you have built underwriting functions before and want to do it again in a fast-moving, BSP-regulated fintech environment, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
• Design and document the end-to-end MSME underwriting framework: credit policy, risk appetite, scoring methodology, and delegation of authority matrix
• Define and standardize credit assessment criteria for business term loans, with extensibility to revolving credit lines and cash flow-based products
• Establish approval workflows, escalation paths, and documentation standards for credit decisions
• Coach and develop the local underwriting team, building internal capability to operate independently
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Product to ensure underwriting standards meet BSP regulatory requirements
• Review and sign off on credit decisions during the framework build-out phase
What We're Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of MSME/SME credit underwriting experience, ideally in SEA or emerging market banking or fintech
• Prior experience building or rebuilding underwriting functions and processes from scratch
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow-based lending, and collateral assessment
• Familiarity with BSP regulations and Philippine lending compliance standards
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where processes are still being shaped
• Strong leadership and communication skills — able to coach junior underwriters and collaborate across teams
Why Join Us
• Be part of building MSME lending in a BSP-licensed digital bank from the ground up
• Work within a regulated financial infrastructure with the agility of a startup
• Competitive compensation and benefits including HMO on Day 1
• Collaborative and international team environment
• BGC, Taguig headquarters

About Teleport
Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it.
Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.
Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to the Strategic Finance team to expand our FP&A capacity and give us deeper coverage across the business. You will be responsible for corporate FP&A functions, including 3 financial statement forecasting and consolidations, business partnering, and GTM optimizations. You will also help us stress-test the assumptions behind our plans and key metrics.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Corporate FP&A: Own the three-statement financial consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Sync the long-range plan with the detailed financial operating plan and monthly actuals load.
- Monthly close: Participate in and review the monthly close, working with Accounting to make sure the numbers tie out and the story behind them is clear.
- Business partnering: Serve as the finance partner to functional areas supporting budget owners with planning, headcount, spend tracking, and decision support to optimize the core metrics they influence.
- Board and investor reporting: Build and maintain board decks, investor updates, and other leadership deliverables.
- Equity plan forecasting: Forecast equity plan usage and dilution, and support related analysis.
- Corporate valuation support: Support valuation work, including model inputs and analysis.
- Team coverage: Provide backup and redundancy across the team's workstreams so that no process depends on a single person.
- Tools and process improvement: Help implement and optimize FP&A and AI tools, and look for ways to automate and improve how the team works.
- Executive partnership: Work directly with senior leadership and budget owners as a trusted, independent finance voice.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, most recently with 5+ years in FP&A and 2+ years owning P&L forecasting and executive reporting at a growth-stage SaaS start-up.
- 3-statement financial planning, including integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS GTM motion, including how pipeline, bookings, and IARR/ARR connect.
- Pricing and margin analysis, such as modeling how pricing and packaging changes affect bookings, gross margin, and unit economics.
- Lead-to-cash process, including how billing, collections, and revenue recognition flow into ARR, deferred revenue, and cash forecasts.
- CFA charterholder, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or Big 4 audit experience is a plus but not required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Deep working knowledge of standard SaaS metrics (CAC payback, burn multiple, magic number, Rule of 40, net and gross retention), including how to calculate them, what drives them, and how plan assumptions move them.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, ideally in Google Sheets as well as Excel. You design driver-based models from scratch, with assumptions you can trace and defend, rather than only updating existing ones.
- Hands-on experience pulling and reconciling data across systems (ERP, CRM, planning tools), and a track record of using or testing AI tools to speed up finance work.
HOW YOU WORK
- You possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and professional ethics.
- Demonstrated self-initiative: you spot problems and fix them without being asked.
- You operate independently, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You communicate clearly with non-finance partners and senior leaders.
- You fit Teleport's culture and behaviors, and you do well in a fast-moving startup environment.
Why Teleport
You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. The work is collaborative, there's real room to grow, and the mission is one worth showing up for.
Remote-first and globally distributed, we're genuinely passionate about what we're building.
The Benefits
At Teleport, we believe your career is more important than a list of perks. That's why we focus on making your day-to-day the best it can be — giving you the autonomy, access, and support to do the best work of your career.
- Extensive health coverage
- Annual expense budget
- Rest and recovery policies that maximize your ability to recharge
- Investment in your future with retirement savings plans
- Professional development opportunities

Contribute to payroll implementations, integrations, testing, process improvements, and automation initiatives across Workday and the broader global payroll environment.
Build trusted relationships with HR, HRIS, Accounting, Finance, Tax, Benefits, Equity, Legal, and external payroll partners across regions and time zones.
Skills We’re Looking For
