We are looking for an experienced
ServiceNow Technical Architect
with strong hands-on experience in
database migration projects
, specifically involving
Oracle databases
.
The ideal candidate should have
personally participated in or led an end-to-end Oracle database migration
, preferably involving migration from Oracle to another database platform, including
RaptorDB / self-hosted database environments
.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical architecture and execution of
Oracle database migration projects
.
Design migration strategies, architecture, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Assess existing Oracle database environments, schemas, tables, dependencies, and data structures.
Plan and execute migration activities from
Oracle to RaptorDB or other target databases
.
Ensure data integrity, completeness, performance, and security throughout the migration.
Coordinate with ServiceNow, database, infrastructure, application, and integration teams.
Troubleshoot migration issues and develop solutions for data compatibility and performance challenges.
Manage migration testing, validation, cutover, and post-migration support.
Prepare technical documentation, migration plans, architecture diagrams, and rollback strategies.
Requirements
Required Experience
8+ years of IT experience
, with strong experience as a
ServiceNow Technical Architect / Senior Technical Consultant
.
Strong ServiceNow technical architecture and integration experience.
Proven hands-on experience with Oracle database migration projects.
Must have worked on
at least one end-to-end Oracle migration project
, not just Oracle administration or support.
Experience with
database-to-database migration
, preferably
Oracle → RaptorDB / self-hosted database
.
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, schemas, data structures, dependencies, and migration challenges.
Experience with data migration, ETL/data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
Experience working with APIs, integrations, middleware, and ServiceNow data/integration architecture.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
