About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically proficient
E-Commerce Operations Manager
to oversee day-to-day backend operations and help keep the business running smoothly. This role focuses on Shopify administration, inventory coordination, order accuracy, and operational task management.
You will work behind the scenes to maintain accurate product listings, coordinate with fulfillment teams, and ensure wholesale orders are processed and shipped correctly and on time. You will also serve as the operational link between the Sales Director and the fulfillment team, helping resolve discrepancies and maintain clear communication across departments.
This is a hands-on execution role best suited for someone who enjoys working independently, managing details, following established processes, and keeping operational systems organized and up to date. It is not a client-facing position.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Management:
Maintain the Shopify backend, including product uploads, listings, images, descriptions, product information, and inventory updates.
Inventory Coordination:
Work closely with the fulfillment team to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring system records accurately reflect available stock.
Wholesale Order Coordination:
Act as the operational liaison between the Sales Director and fulfillment team to ensure wholesale orders are accurate, complete, and ready for processing.

Monitor order processing and shipping to help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify order details, resolve operational issues, and keep workflows moving efficiently.

Take ownership of pending administrative and operational tasks during slower periods, helping improve organization and maintain efficient workflows.
Process Accuracy and Organization:
Maintain consistent records, follow established procedures, and proactively flag discrepancies or potential fulfillment issues.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on Shopify experience, particularly with backend administration, product management, listings, and inventory updates.

Comfortable using Asana to organize tasks, track progress, and manage deadlines.
Proficient with Slack for internal communication and coordination.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and resolve issues accurately.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple operational tasks independently.
Technically proficient, adaptable, and quick to learn new systems and tools.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.
Reliable and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership over assigned responsibilities.

About the Role
We're hiring an Ops & Marketing Project Manager to be the organization backbone of a small, fast-moving team. Plans get made in Slack, work gets briefed in Notion, and the gap between those two is where things quietly die. You're the person who closes that gap.
This role sits primarily on the operations side of our home fragrance brand. You'll own wholesale operations end to end, and you'll be the one keeping product development, inventory, and production moving: chasing suppliers, holding timelines, building the project boards, and making sure nothing sits waiting on an answer nobody asked for.
You'll also own the marketing calendar and the project flow behind it. Our marketing team moves fast across website, paid, email, and creator work, and it needs someone who makes sure that once something is decided it has an owner, a date, a dependency map, and someone chasing it. You're not deciding what we launch. You're the person who knows the status of everything, without being asked.
We're an AI-forward company, and this is an AI-forward role. Claude is part of how this team works every day, not a side experiment. We expect you to build your systems, SOPs, trackers, and reporting with AI in the loop, and to keep finding the places where it takes busywork off your plate and off the plates of the people around you. You don't need a technical background. You do need real curiosity and the willingness to make it part of how you work.
What You'll Do
Own wholesale day to day: processing orders, charging payments, creating shipments and inbounds, and the customer service that comes with it
Create 3PL orders for suppliers, samples, and anything else needed
Write the SOPs as you go, so the function can be handed to a dedicated coordinator over time. Designing your own replacement here is part of the job, not a threat to it
Product Development, Inventory, and Production
Supplier follow-up, cost comparisons, timelines, and project boards across new products and packaging
Stay closely on top of production status and timelines, and flag slippage early enough that we can do something about it
Support inventory operations and learn the fundamentals of production from the team, with room to take on more here over time
The Marketing Calendar
Own a single calendar across brands and channels: website, paid creative, email and SMS, creator and UGC, promotions, and product launches
Hold the dates. Work backwards from the launch date rather than forwards from today, so creative, approvals, and builds land in the right order
Turn strategy into briefed work. When a plan arrives as ten line items with five names attached, you break it into owned tasks with real dates and confirm who has what
Catch collisions before they cost a day: duplicate briefs, two designers on the same asset, work blocked on an approval nobody requested
Run the weekly cadence. What shipped, what slipped and why, and what's at risk next week, published without being asked for it
Systems, Notion, and AI
Own Notion as the system of record for these areas: structure, templates, status hygiene, and getting people to actually use it
Build real systems where only informal structure exists today, then keep them alive. A board nobody updates is worse than no board
Use AI to build and run those systems, from drafting SOPs and briefs to pulling together reporting and tracking what's outstanding
Keep creator and partnership records, contracts, and payments accurate and moving, in step with finance and the partnerships team
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Exceptional organization. This is the single most important quality for this role
3+ years managing multiple concurrent projects across teams
Operations experience in e-commerce, consumer brands, wholesale, or supply chain
Direct marketing experience, ideally owning or running a marketing calendar across channels
You already use AI seriously in your own work, and you can show us how. We care more about how you think with it than which tools you've touched
Hands-on Notion experience. You've built databases and views that other people relied on, not just filled in someone else's
Experience working inside a CRM and keeping it clean and current (Folk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, or similar)
Strong follow-through. You're persistent with suppliers, vendors, and teammates until you get an answer
The instinct to surface problems early, with a recommendation attached
Strong written communication. Most of this job happens in writing, across time zones
Strong English communication skills
Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, and comfort across Word, PowerPoint, and Google's suite of tools
Nice to Have
Wholesale or B2B operations experience, including basic customer service
Familiarity with Shopify, Cin7, Klaviyo, or Figma
Experience with product development or packaging timelines

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We admire the importance of innovative social media strategies and are committed to connecting talented individuals with great companies that need their unique skills. Our mission is to provide great jobs to gifted people, regardless of location.
About the Client
Our client helps high-achieving men rebuild their lives from the inside out, marriage, family, identity, and purpose.
They have an established content engine and a large existing audience across social platforms, with hundreds of long-form videos and a deep library of short-form content, client testimonials, VSLs, and organic content continually being produced and tested. They’re looking for a Meta Media Buyer who can turn that creative engine into predictable, scalable customer acquisition.
About the Role
Paid acquisition is a major growth channel for our client, and we need a dedicated owner of our Meta advertising.
This is not a general digital marketing position, and it is not a role for someone who simply launches campaigns and checks Ads Manager once a day. You will own Meta campaign execution and optimization end to end: campaign structure,
budgets, testing, creative performance, audiences, tracking, lead quality, and scaling. You’ll work closely with our organic and creative teams. When content breaks out organically, you should know how to test it as paid creative. When an ad works, you should understand why it works and be able to tell the creative team what we need more of. Ultimately, your job is not to generate cheap clicks or leads. Your job is to help us acquire qualified prospects and customers at economics that allow us to scale.
Responsibilities
1. Meta Campaign Management
Own day-to-day execution across Facebook and Instagram advertising through Meta Ads Manager.
Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across the customer acquisition funnel.
Manage campaign structure, budgets, bidding, audiences, placements, optimization events, and spend allocation.
Monitor account performance consistently and make informed adjustments rather than allowing declining campaigns to run unchecked.
Maintain clean campaign structures and naming conventions so the account remains organized, understandable, and scalable.
2. Performance & Budget Optimization
Own the numbers behind paid acquisition.
Monitor and analyze the metrics that matter, including CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, cost per booked call, CAC, conversion rates, lead quality, spend, and revenue performance.
Understand where performance is breaking down. A rising CAC does not automatically mean the audience is the problem, and a low CPL does not automatically mean the campaign is successful.
Follow the lead beyond Meta. Work with our sales team to understand whether campaigns are generating qualified applications, booked calls, show-ups, and customers — not simply form submissions.
Identify where additional budget can be deployed profitably and where spend needs to be reduced or redirected.
3. Creative Testing & Analysis
Develop and maintain a structured testing system for hooks, angles, messaging, formats, offers, CTAs, and creative concepts.
Analyze creative performance and identify patterns across winning and losing ads.
Be able to explain more than “this ad has the lowest CPL.” We want someone who can identify why an angle is resonating, which hooks are producing qualified prospects, what is losing effectiveness, and what should be created next.
Give the creative team specific, actionable briefs and feedback based on performance data.
Work closely with our Social Media Manager to identify organic winners that should be tested as paid creative, including reusing organic post IDs where appropriate to carry existing social proof.
4. Testing & Scaling
Build a disciplined testing process rather than making random changes inside the ad account.
Know how to determine whether a test has enough data to make a decision and distinguish meaningful performance changes from normal fluctuations.
Identify winners, iterate on them, and scale them intelligently.
Know when to increase spend, when to consolidate, when to introduce new creative, when to let a campaign stabilize, and when something genuinely needs intervention.
Balance growth with efficiency. We don’t want someone afraid to spend money when the economics support scaling — or someone who increases budgets simply because Meta is reporting good numbers.
5. Tracking & Attribution
Ensure Meta Pixel, Conversions API, conversion events, UTMs, landing-page tracking, and relevant CRM attribution are functioning correctly.
Identify tracking discrepancies and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
Understand the limitations of platform attribution and use available business data to develop a more complete picture of campaign performance.
Paid acquisition doesn’t end when someone submits a lead form. You should be able to connect ad → lead → appointment → sales outcome → customer acquisition cost.
6. Reporting & Communication
Own clear and consistent reporting on paid acquisition performance.
Communicate what happened, why it happened, what was learned, and what you’re doing next.
Report on spend, lead volume, CPL, qualified leads, booked calls, CAC, creative performance, testing results, and relevant funnel metrics.
Flag meaningful performance changes quickly rather than waiting for someone else to notice them.
Requirements
You have experience working with U.S.-based DTC e-commerce businesses generating seven- to eight-figure annual revenues.
3+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
Strong proficiency with Meta Ads Manager.
Demonstrated experience managing and scaling meaningful paid advertising budgets.
Strong understanding of direct-response and performance marketing.
Experience with lead-generation and conversion-focused campaigns.
Strong understanding of campaign structure, audiences, bidding, budgeting, optimization, and scaling.
Strong creative analysis and ad-testing skills.
Ability to interpret advertising and funnel data and translate it into specific actions.
Understanding of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, conversion events, UTMs, and attribution.
Ability to evaluate performance beyond platform metrics and connect advertising results to downstream sales outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively identify and solve performance problems.
Nice to Have
Experience with high-ticket coaching, education, personal development, mental health/fitness, or information-product businesses.
Experience working with a setter/closer sales model and understanding what happens to paid leads after they enter a CRM.
Experience with application, booked-call, VSL, or similar high-ticket acquisition funnels.
Experience working with founder-led or personality-driven brands.
Experience turning organic content into successful paid creative.
Strong understanding of CRM attribution and the connection between ad-platform data and actual sales outcomes.
What We’d Like to See From Candidates
We’re much more interested in proof of work than media-buying buzzwords.
Be prepared to show accounts or case studies you’ve personally managed and explain your role in the results.
We want to understand the monthly Meta spend you’ve personally managed, the type of business and offer you advertised, your CPL/CAC or other relevant acquisition results, how you approached creative testing, what you successfully scaled, and an example of a campaign that stopped performing and how you diagnosed it.
You should be able to explain your decision-making, not simply show us a screenshot of a successful Ads Manager dashboard.
Out of Scope for This Role
This is specifically a Meta Media Buyer position.
You are not responsible for organic social media management, community management,
email/newsletter marketing, or managing Google, YouTube, TikTok, or other paid advertising platforms.
Our Social Media Manager owns organic social end to end and influences paid creative but does not run the ad accounts.

About the Role
We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) business.
In this role, you’ll coordinate internal team members and external agencies across paid acquisition, retention marketing, and website operations, ensuring that projects are executed correctly, systems are working as expected, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not a traditional project management or high-level strategy role. We need someone who understands how e-commerce platforms and marketing channels work in practice, can confidently navigate tools like Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, and Klaviyo, and knows how to identify and troubleshoot issues when something goes wrong.
You won't necessarily be responsible for executing every marketing initiative yourself, but you'll need enough hands-on experience to evaluate the quality of execution, understand performance data, hold partners accountable, and occasionally step in to resolve operational issues.
You'll work directly with the business owner in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and keeping a growing e-commerce operation running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Coordinate internal team members and external agencies across paid acquisition, retention marketing, and website management, ensuring priorities are clear and deliverables are completed on time.
Monitor Meta and Google Ads execution, review campaign activity and performance data, and ensure agencies are implementing campaigns correctly.
Oversee email and SMS marketing operations through platforms such as Klaviyo, checking campaign schedules, flows, launches, and performance.
Regularly review the Shopify storefront to identify issues, verify updates, and ensure website changes and initiatives are implemented correctly.
Investigate problems such as missed email sends, campaign setup errors, platform access issues, or website operational issues, resolving them directly when appropriate or coordinating with the responsible team.
Gather and interpret data across acquisition, retention, and website operations to provide visibility into performance, identify issues, and support informed business decisions.
Follow up on deliverables, identify execution gaps, communicate expectations, and ensure outstanding tasks are resolved rather than simply reported.
Keep initiatives moving across multiple channels, coordinate dependencies, and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into progress and priorities.
Identify operational inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve processes, execution quality, and overall e-commerce performance.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations, DTC marketing, e-commerce project management, or a similar hands-on role.
Experience working with a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce brand, or at an agency supporting e-commerce businesses.
Practical familiarity with Shopify, including navigating the platform, reviewing storefront changes, and troubleshooting basic operational issues.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager and a working understanding of paid acquisition campaign setup, execution, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email and SMS marketing platforms, including campaign scheduling, launches, and basic troubleshooting.
Exposure to Google Ads and an understanding of how paid acquisition fits into the broader e-commerce operation.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to navigate dashboards, interpret performance data, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly.
Proven project and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating agencies, following up on deliverables, and ensuring accountability across teams.
A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset. You're comfortable getting into the details, investigating problems, and taking action rather than simply escalating issues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate directly with U.S.-based leadership and external partners.
Comfortable with occasional urgent requests outside standard working hours when business-critical issues arise. These situations are not constant, but flexibility and responsiveness are important.

An overview of this role
This is an overnight shift role with working hours of 12:00am - 7:00am EST.
As a Support Engineer on our U.S. Government Support Engineering team, you operate at the critical intersection of Support and Engineering, enabling public sector organizations and United States government agencies to run GitLab in some of the most secure and constrained environments in the world. Your work directly supports national security missions, including customers operating within FedRAMP-authorized, air-gapped, and classified or semi-classified environments where traditional troubleshooting approaches are not always possible.
In this role, you will engage deeply with GitLab through the command line; analyzing logs, system behavior, and application performance with strong Linux fundamentals and an understanding of how GitLab’s components interact end-to-end. You may partner with Product and Engineering to reproduce and document edge-case defects using sanitized or redacted data, or contribute directly to the product by opening merge requests that resolve customer-impacting issues. Beyond resolving individual cases, you’ll help strengthen GitLab by improving documentation, support workflows, and institutional knowledge, ensuring that lessons learned in highly regulated environments benefit the broader platform; all while working in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment built on trust, autonomy, and shared ownership.
Some examples of our projects:
A tool to quickly analyze strace output
A solution to capture the state of a customer’s server for easier troubleshooting
A functionality to ChatOps to make it easier to identify user accounts on GitLab.com
What you’ll do
Collaborate closely with public sector customers, including U.S. government agencies, the Department of War, and Intelligence Community organizations, to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in GitLab deployments operating under strict security, compliance, and operational constraints.
Perform deep, hands-on technical investigations using Linux command-line tooling and GitLab internals to analyze logs, system performance, and application behavior, often with limited telemetry or incomplete datasets. You will trace issues across infrastructure, application, and code paths to identify root causes, recommend mitigations, and drive durable fixes; frequently partnering with GitLab Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams to ensure outcomes that meet both mission and platform reliability requirements.
Create and update clear, reusable documentation and support content based on real customer interactions to improve self-service and reduce repeated issues.
Participate in regular
pairing sessions
with other Support Engineers and act as a
stable counterpart
to cross-functional teams to share knowledge and improve support processes.
Contribute to building and refining internal support tools and workflows, including automation and troubleshooting utilities, to make diagnosing and resolving issues more efficient.
Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations, providing timely emergency support for self-managed customers operating in restricted and compliance-focused environments.
Support the growth of the team by reviewing applications and assessments, and participating in interviews and hiring decision discussions.
What you’ll bring
Due to government security requirements, you must be a United States Citizen (defined as any individual who is a citizen of the United States by law, birth, or naturalization) to be eligible for this position
Experience managing customer-facing cases across the full support lifecycle, from initial inquiry and triage through reproduction, escalation, and resolution
Strong Linux systems administration knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot performance and configuration issues in complex environments
Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered developer tooling and gateway architectures (for example GitLab Duo, AI gateway configurations, or similar model-serving/proxy layers), including how they're deployed and troubleshot in self-managed or air-gapped environments
Ability to use scripting languages (preferably Ruby or Bash) and work within model-view-controller frameworks (preferably Ruby on Rails) to investigate and resolve issues
Practical experience with Git and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows
Skill in creating and maintaining clear, accurate support content and technical documentation
Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, empathetic way to customers and coworkers with varying technical backgrounds
Familiarity with DevOps practices and container-orchestration technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
Understanding of common information security and compliance concepts and controls (for example DISA STIG and SELinux), and eligibility to work on United States federal customer environments as required for this role
About the team
At GitLab Federal, LLC, the U.S. Government Support Engineering team partners with public sector organizations and United States government agencies to support GitLab in highly secure, mission-critical environments. Our work directly enables national security outcomes, supporting customers across the Intelligence Community, Department of War, and other federal, state, and local government entities operating within regulated and restricted boundaries.
We are embedded within Support Engineering and work closely with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales to solve complex, high-impact technical challenges. Our team frequently dives into code, logs, and architectural behavior to understand not just what is failing, but why; especially in environments with sanitized data, limited visibility, and strict compliance controls such as FedRAMP. We collaborate asynchronously across time zones and through structured pairing and discussion to share knowledge, strengthen solutions, and continuously improve how GitLab supports secure, air-gapped, and regulated deployments, while upholding GitLab's standards for rigor, transparency, and technical excellence.

Our client is a multi-brand e-commerce and digital marketing business focused on growing brands through channels such as TikTok Shop, creators and affiliates, Meta Ads, Shopify, Amazon, and organic social. Operating across multiple brands, departments, and marketing channels, we need someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and moving pieces simultaneously.
The ideal candidate has a background managing marketing projects for
U.S.-based DTC marketing agencies or in-house DTC brands
. They should have experience overseeing complex, multi-channel initiatives with a minimum of
$1 million in monthly marketing or advertising budgets

This person will ensure projects stay aligned and on track by establishing clear deliverables, ownership, timelines, and priorities. They will help the team maintain visibility, follow through on commitments, and identify potential blockers before they become problems.
We are not looking for a generic corporate Project Manager.
We want someone who has been close to marketing, creative, DTC, creators, paid media, e-commerce, or agency work and understands the pace and complexity of this environment. Experience simply managing tickets, scheduling meetings, or updating project boards is not enough. The ideal candidate has worked somewhere with multiple brands, campaigns, departments, and deadlines moving at the same time—and knows how to bring order to that environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects across multiple brands and departments
* Create clear timelines, deliverables, owners, priorities, and deadlines
* Keep projects and team members aligned, accountable, and on track
* Follow up on outstanding tasks and make sure important work gets completed
* Identify blockers, missed handoffs, and potential delays before they become problems
* Keep leadership updated on project status, priorities, and risks
* Improve internal processes, workflows, and organization
* Coordinate across marketing, creative, creators, paid media, social, e-commerce, and leadership
* Help ensure launches, campaigns, and important deadlines do not fall through the cracks
AREAS YOU WILL WORK ACROSS:
• TikTok Shop • UGC & creative strategy
• TikTok creators / affiliates • Trybe / creator programs
• Shopify • Organic social / social management
• Meta Ads • Creative production
• Amazon • Product launches & campaigns
* You do not need to personally execute every channel, but you should understand how modern digital marketing and
creative teams operate.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
* Everyone knows what they are responsible for and what matters most
* Priorities and deadlines are clear and visible
* Leadership can quickly understand where projects stand
* Blockers are identified early instead of becoming last-minute emergencies
* Teams communicate and execute effectively across departments
* Processes continuously improve as the company grows
* The organization becomes more structured without becoming slower or overly corporate
Requirements
3+ years of experience managing marketing projects for a U.S.-based DTC marketing agency or in-house DTC brand.
Experience managing complex, multi-channel projects involving a minimum of $1 million in monthly marketing or advertising budgets.
Hands-on experience with projects across Amazon, TikTok, and Shopify.
Comfortable managing multiple projects, stakeholders, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.

Extremely organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and strong at follow-up.
Able to establish ownership, maintain accountability, and ensure deliverables are completed on time while maintaining strong working relationships.
