About the Job:
Feature management and experimentation have converged into a single market, and the buying dynamic at the top has shifted. Engineering teams are no longer the sole evaluator — data scientists and data-focused PMs now carry equal weight on the largest deals. The bar for statistical depth, warehouse ergonomics, and experiment-first workflows is rising quickly.
In traditional experimentation we have built the foundation: a trusted runtime control plane, a growing experimentation engine, and early warehouse-native capabilities. We are winning lower-maturity buyers at healthy rates. We are not yet consistently winning the most sophisticated data organizations. Closing that gap is the job.
In AI experimentation, we have an early lead: the AI-native tooling category has invested in evaluation and conceded production experimentation, and we already have the primitives (statistical significance, multi-armed bandits, experiment-aware guardrails) that no AI-native competitor ships. Extending that lead is the other half of the job.
This leader will own whether LaunchDarkly becomes the definitive experimentation platform in an AI-accelerated world.
Responsibilities:
Own the Experimentation pillar.
Direct leadership of the Product team. Partner with Engineering and Design counterparts in a triad model. Accountable for the pillar's strategy, roadmap delivery, and commercial outcomes. Make the investment case across the in-product experimentation experience, the warehouse-native analysis layer, and the infrastructure that scales them.
Make experimentation the measurement layer of the AI SDLC.
Partner with our AI product, observability, and core feature management leaders to productize the capabilities we already have as AI-native primitives. Build a closed loop from offline evaluation through production experiments, to automatic promotion and rollback, to a self-improving feedback loop for agents.
Win the high-maturity buyer.
Earn the technical confidence of senior data scientists and data-focused PMs. Decide what statistical depth, warehouse coverage, and experiment-first workflow capabilities are non-negotiable, and get them shipped on a timeline that wins pivotal reference deals.
Make warehouse-native a weapon.
Expand coverage across major data warehouses and query layers. Deliver parity on analysis-only mode, variance reduction, ratio and percentile metrics, exposure validation, and arbitrary-window analysis.
Operate a high-performing function.
Run a disciplined roadmap, ship predictably against quarterly commitments, drive AI-assisted engineering productivity inside the org, and hire where gaps exist.
Be the external face of the category.
Credibly represent the product with Data scientists, PMs, experimenters, analysts, and partners. Translate the strategy to the field and equip sales to win head-to-head.
How you'll be measured:
Win rate on experimentation-involved deals, especially head-to-head competitive evaluations — step change in the first year, sustained improvement thereafter.
Reference-grade customers at the top of the maturity curve, including named strategic logos.
Monthly active customers and active-account ARR growth against plan.
Experimentation attach rate on new and expansion enterprise deals.
Engineering throughput — roadmap delivery velocity and AI-assisted development adoption inside the function.
Qualifications:
Senior product leader (GM, VP, or equivalent) with a track record of owning a product line that competes on statistical rigor and data infrastructure.
Deep, operator-level fluency in experimentation methodology: causal inference, variance reduction, ratio metrics, sequential testing, exposure design, multi-armed bandits, and composite/multi-objective metrics — and the realities of running these at scale against production data warehouses and against non-deterministic systems where output variance, not just user variance, drives sample-size and significance decisions.
Has earned credibility with data science leaders and experimentation specialists at sophisticated organizations — and can recruit them.
Has led a function that includes engineering, design, and data science. Comfortable setting a multi-quarter roadmap, championing investment allocation, and reporting results to an executive team and board.
Clear, direct communicator. Decides fast with incomplete information. Prefers shipping and learning to requirements documents.
Opinionated about where experimentation is going in an AI-native world — and specifically, how agents and autonomous systems will use experimentation infrastructure differently than human teams do.
Preferred Qualifications:
You have built or scaled experimentation at an organization where it was core infrastructure, not a secondary analytics capability.
You have personally won competitive evaluations where a sophisticated data-science organization was the deciding voice.
You have shipped warehouse-native data products and understand the operational realities of running experiments directly against customer data infrastructure.
You see experimentation as how software teams prove that any change — whether built by a person or an AI agent — actually worked. That evidence layer is core infrastructure, not a reporting afterthought.

About Ondo
Ondo Finance is building institutional-grade financial infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets. We operate at the intersection of traditional finance and on-chain systems, which means our product surface has to hold up against both the ordinary threats that hit any high-value fintech and the specific ones that follow value on-chain.
About the Role
We are hiring a
Senior Security Engineer - Product Security
to own how we ship secure products at Ondo. You will be a security partner for our product engineering teams, driving threat modeling, owning secure code reviews for new products or feature expansions, maintaining and tuning AppSec tooling, and improving the existing SSDLC. You can expect to take ownership of the bug bounty program, new feature to existing product reviews, and similar broad ownership of critical functions paired to a dedicated ProdSec lead. An AI-native approach is welcome, paired with AI-driven approaches should expect to be justified by describing how doing so enables risk outcomes.
This is a hands-on IC role. You will read code, run threat models, review architecture proposals, own tooling, and push engineering teams to build products that are secure by default. You partner closely with adjacent security function like AppSec, Infrasec, and SecOps.
What You’ll Do
Drive threat modeling for new features, integrations, and architectural changes across the product surface. Push threat models past templates into decisions that engineering teams actually implement.
Own secure code review for high-risk changes — authentication, session management, cryptographic paths, wallet and signing flows, RPC and third-party integrations, permission and consent surfaces.
Expand the AppSec tooling stack and treat “reducing false positives” as a first-class deliverable. AI-native integrations are welcome.
Design and evolve our secure SDLC: where security fits in the dev workflow, what triggers a review, what a lightweight security sign-off looks like versus a full one, and how do we validate controls.
Run our responsible disclosure and bug bounty program. Set scope, triage inbound reports, decide payouts, and drive findings to closure with engineering.
Support and own appropriate scope for the intake and closure of findings from external audits and pentests — coordinate with audit vendors (Coinspect, Cantina, NCC Group, and others), organize findings into our internal risk register, and drive remediation with engineering owners.
Partner with engineering leads to align o secure-by-default patterns - libraries, templates, sensible defaults, and paved-road implementations of anything security-relevant.
Threat model blockchain-integrated components like wallet flows, RPC integrations, signing infrastructure, on-chain admin actions triggered from off-chain systems in partnership with engineers who own the on-chain code.
Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and pushing the technical bar on the Security team.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in Product Security or Application Security, including senior IC time at a fast-moving product company.
Deep secure code review skills in at least one modern stack (TypeScript / JavaScript, Python, or Go). Ability to move across stacks at the level required to threat model.
Strong threat modeling skills, appropriate to experience - you can drive a real threat model with an engineering team, not just fill in a template. In practice, we look for core understanding of industry-relevant TTPs and IoCs and strong intuitions on how to apply those lessons learned to our products.
Practical experience owning or majorly contributing to an AppSec tooling program. You have shipped rules, tuned noise, and measured impact.
Comfortable running or building a bug bounty / responsible disclosure program end-to-end assuming properly resourced to do so.
Strong working knowledge of modern web and API security - session and auth flows, OAuth and OIDC, browser security model, common web/API vulnerability classes, and their less-common variants.
Comfortable reading Terraform, cloud IAM policies, and CI/CD configuration well enough to reason about how a product vulnerability crosses into an infra risk.
Strong engineering partnership skills - you engage constructively, understand the “why” before proposing risk controls, you know when to accept risk, and you write things down.
Willing to grow into blockchain-adjacent product security on the job, including the specific attack surface introduced by wallet, signing, and on-chain-integration code.
Blockchain Exposure Note
This role firmly lives in Web2 prodsec. But, it also requires someone who understands what “Web2 vs Web3” terminology means. In other words, how our products interact with blockchains creates unique threat models that all product security teammates must grasp. At a minimum, by Day 1 you should have strong intuitions about how blockchains will make your prodsec experience unique, you should grasp the common terminologies, and you should be able to discuss with colleagues several incident post-mortems that demonstrate how Web2 compromises lead to Web3 funds losses.
You do not need to be an expert in smart contract auditing, blockchain security architectures, or decentralized consensus-driven risk controls.
Nice to Have
Prior work at a crypto, fintech, or other company where products handle high-value or irreversible actions.
Familiarity with wallet, signing, or key-management flows.
Reading-level familiarity with Solidity or Rust, target: when ProdSec intersects with smart contracts or other on-chain applications, you can parse what the code is likely doing, and work with blockchain security subject matter experts from there.
Bug bounty history - reports, CVEs, or published write-ups.
Familiarity with browser-extension security, mobile app security, or account-abstraction wallet designs.
Public output - talks, blog posts, open-source tools, CVEs.
How We Work
The Security team values a high trust team environment where respectful candor can thrive. We expect senior engineers to have an opinionated take on how to accomplish a task, accept feedback from the team and other external stakeholders and return it in kind, and to always assume positive intent. Professionalism, ethics, and enabling stakeholders towards common goals are important always.
RELOCATION TO GERMANY adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we’ve become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Architecting Intelligence to Optimize 200M+ Daily Decisions
As the intelligence core of our engineering organization, our Data Science team doesn’t just deploy models, we engineer the fundamental decision engine that powers our platform. At a scale of 770 million users and 100,000+ predictions per second, we are solving a multi-objective optimization problem that balances user incentives, advertiser ROI, and long-term platform health in real time. Our architecture is built on a 1PB+ behavioral data lake, providing the high-fidelity input necessary to train deep learning models that predict individual user engagement with precision. We aren’t just optimizing clicks, we are dynamically calculating optimal reward structures to sustain a global value exchange. Engineered for performance, our stack leverages Tensorflow and PyTorch for model training, NVIDIA Triton to achieve sub-100ms inference. We own the full ML lifecycle from high-level research and feature engineering to deployment and A/B experimentation. Here, you will find the autonomy, the data depth, and the massive scale required to solve the most complex optimization challenges in the adtech ecosystem.
The data infrastructure behind this runs at real scale: 2TB ingested in real time every day, 100+ Airflow jobs and data pipelines, and ML models handling p99 latency of 100ms across 100,000+ predictions per second.
As a Data Engineer on this team – you’ll be building and maintaining the infrastructure that makes them possible: the Feature Store, the data pipelines, the data quality systems, and the data architecture that data scientists depend on to move fast.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
Data engineering at ML scale. You have 5+ years in data engineering on a modern stack, with proven experience handling systems that process several TB of data per day and thousands of events per second. Flink is your default for real-time. You have hands-on experience with Apache Flink for stateful stream processing and real-time feature computation. You’ll translate Data Science requirements into high-performance streams, enable Data Scientists to contribute new features and implement features yourself when needed.
Pipeline bottlenecks don’t survive long around you. You know how to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in complex ETL jobs, whether handling high-volume batch processing or real-time streaming systems like Kafka. At adjoe, data velocity is critical: slow pipelines directly impact model freshness and prediction quality at sub-100ms inference.
You think in layers, not tables. You move beyond raw data to design robust, multi-layered data architectures using dbt, and can reason confidently about storage formats, Data Lakehouse models, and what belongs where in a 1PB+ data lake. Familiarity with Medallion Architecture is a strong plus.
The bridge between Data Science and Backend. You’ve worked closely with Data Scientists on online ML systems with low latency requirements, and understand what it takes to make experimental research production-ready. Strong Java required; Go or Python a plus.
Owns quality, not just delivery. You implement data validation, monitoring, and governance processes in production, because in a system where model inputs directly drive advertiser ROI, data integrity isn’t optional.
Experience with Airflow, Kubeflow, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
