About Somnia:
SOMNIA is the Agentic Chain - a hyper-performance L1 operating at an order of magnitude faster than existing networks. We empower builders and traders to create real-time, autonomous, and fully decentralized products, powered by agents, that were previously impossible and cannot be built anywhere else. It’s where the future of Web3 protocols will be built, so we’re facilitating a new wave of on-chain applications from DEX to Prediction Protocols and much, much more.
Somnia is being developed by Somnia Foundation backed by Improbable https://www.improbable.io/, a British tech Unicorn +++ that has been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. Somnia received initial funding from MSquared https://www.msquared.io/, which raised $150 million https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220407005101/en/Improbable-Raises-US150m-to-Establish-M%C2%B2-MSquared-a-Metaverse-Network-and-Ecosystem-Powered-by-Its-Morpheus-Technology from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.
About the Role:
DreamDEX makes a hard claim: CEX execution without DEX custody. A fully on-chain CLOB with sub-10ms, zero trading fees, self-custody and transparent rules, competing head-on with Hyperliquid, Lighter and the large centralised exchanges.
An exchange wins or dies on liquidity, and early liquidity comes from relationships. Market makers must sign and quote tight. Builders must route flow to us. Institutions must trust a new venue with size. You will own those relationships.
You'll run business development for dreamDEX and carry the wider Somnia story (the L1, Somnia Agents, Prophecy) into institutional conversations. You'll work directly with the GTM leads and core team, with a mandate to source, structure and close the deals that put depth on the book and volume through it. We measure every deal by the liquidity, volume and TVL it produces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the market maker pipeline: source, pitch, negotiate and onboard MMs, from DeFi-native firms early on to an anchor tier 1 relationship, structuring deals across CLOB rewards, fee arrangements and liquidity commitments
- Get DreamDEX integrated with the major spot and cross-chain aggregators, then manage those relationships so we keep winning flow on price
- Build and activate the institutional pipeline: trading firms, funds, family offices, OTC desks, prime brokers and custodians, with white-glove onboarding for qualified institutions
- Build an active Builder pipeline: Trading terminals, AI strategies and native apps to drive users and volume to the Dex.
- Close liquidity deals that grow TVL: institutional LPs, protocol and DAO treasuries, and vault operators
- Land distribution partnerships that feed the exchange: wallets, perp aggregators and bridges
- Support broader Somnia BD where your network applies: ecosystem projects, stablecoin partners and treasury deals on the L1
- Feed market intelligence back to product: you hear first what MMs and institutions need (RFQ flow, reporting, credit arrangements, API features) and help shape the roadmap
- Represent DreamDEX and Somnia at conferences and in the rooms where these deals get done
Requirements:
Must Have
- Business development experience at a crypto exchange (CEX, perp DEX or spot DEX) covering market makers, institutional clients or listings
- A real network across institutions in crypto and/or TradFi: trading firms, market makers, funds, prime brokers and OTC desks. You open doors on day one rather than building a list from scratch
- Closed deals with measurable impact on volume, liquidity or TVL, and the ability to walk us through the numbers
- A working understanding of exchange mechanics: order books, spreads and depth, perps and margin, liquidations, MM economics and incentive design
- Ability to run a full deal cycle alone, from sourcing through structuring and negotiation to post-signature relationship management
- Comfort operating early in a venue's life, when you are selling the roadmap as much as the product
Nice to Have
- TradFi background in prime brokerage, electronic trading or institutional sales
- Existing relationships with DEX aggregators, wallets, custodians or vault operators
- Experience taking a new venue through cold start; you have solved the empty order book problem before
- Experience structuring token or incentive-based deals
- Working knowledge of DeFi: CLOB DEXs, vaults, stablecoins and yield products
- Experience selling to DAOs and protocol treasuries
Why Join Somnia?
Design The Future: Join Somnia to work remotely with a global team, earn competitive compensation with token incentives, and help build the future of Web3 at a company where your impact truly matters.
First of its Kind: Make Somnia famous as the only hyperspeed L1 with native AI inference.
High Stakes: Influence a brand targeting a $1M+ launch budget in the 2026 peak-fragility market.
Incentives: Competitive salary + tokens.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⚡ THE CORPORATE TEAM AT ALAN
You will join Alan's Corporate team, the unit that covers legal, privacy, governance, risk, compliance and security as Alan scales.
Alan wants to be in 10 countries within five years, and that only works with corporate processes built to scale with it. This is a newly created role, and your job is to make Alan's regulated development seamless and integrated with how we build product.
You will benefit from close mentorship and structured support, you won't be left on your own, and the deep legal, privacy, and security expertise stays in the team around you. At Alan, roles evolve, so you will have real opportunities to expand your scope across topics and countries as you grow.
🤝 YOUR MISSIONS
Corporate protects Alan and its members, but regulated work can still be slow, manual and disconnected from how we build. You are here to build the compliance product that fixes that: processes and tooling that hold as Alan grows, and that make regulated work lighter on both sides, for the teams you serve and for the experts you work with.
- Make regulated work scale. Alan's regulatory load grows with every new member, market and product. You build the layer that absorbs it, so Corporate's load stops climbing in lockstep with the company: a clear path from each request to the right owner, and tooling that takes on the recurring work.
- Rebuild processes end to end. You find the painful process, work out what people are really doing to get around it, and redesign it so it is faster for everyone. You stay on it after launch, watch how it is used, and keep improving it until it becomes the way people work.
- Build practical automation and AI-enabled workflows from end-to-end. You identify where no-code, low-code, AI tools or other forms of automation can remove repetitive work, improve consistency and help people make better decisions. You design workflows that combine tools, data, controls and human judgment appropriately.
- Spot the next bottleneck before it bites. You design solutions that keep Alan compliant and fast at the same time, rather than trading one for the other.
- Measure what you ship. You set clear goals and check them, so every change makes life easier on both sides: the Corporate team you work with and the people they serve.
In your first six months, you will have:
- Shipped a first system that gives the teams you serve one simple, fast way to get what they need from Corporate.
- Owned at least one process from problem to a live, automated solution that people actually use.
- Become a trusted, pragmatic builder for the Corporate team and for the people they serve.
- Established a clear approach to measuring adoption, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
🚀 PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
What you bring
- You have built things people kept using. You have turned manual, repetitive work into automated or self-serve solutions with no-code, low-code and AI tools, whether at work or on your own projects. You can explain what you built, why you built it and how people used it.
- You understand AI-enabled workflows. You are familiar with current AI tools and have experimented with using them to improve research, decision-making, knowledge work or operations. You are interested not only in using AI tools, but also in combining them into reliable workflows that solve real problems.
- You are drawn to regulated work. You want to understand why these processes exist and where they create friction, and you ramp up fast on a domain that is new to you. Hands-on experience in one of these areas is a plus that speeds your ramp-up, not a requirement.
- French and English (professional level).
Qualities we look for to join our team
- Builder mindset: You can operate independently, make progress with incomplete information, prioritise ruthlessly, involve the right experts and bring a project to a useful outcome without waiting for perfect certainty.
- Explorer mindset: You are curious about a vague problem, dig deep to frame it well, stay solution-oriented, and escalate early.
- Systems thinking: You look beyond isolated tasks and understand how people, processes, tools, data and controls fit together.
- Appetite for regulated complexity: The complexity of regulated work energises you as much as the tooling does, and you approach it with a try-and-retry, challenger mindset.
- Sound judgment: You sense where a shortcut would break a legal, privacy, security or compliance requirement, and you know when to stop and ask.
- Project ownership: You drive projects end to end, from user research and planning to delivery, and you own what happens after launch: adoption and continuous improvement.
- Clear communication: You are proactive and clear with stakeholders, you show progress, and you explain why.
For this role we are looking to hire within the C0-C1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.

Location: You must be legally eligible to work from France, Belgium or Spain.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Senior Software Engineer, GenAI Platform
About the Team
Deliveroo's GenAI Platform team sits within Machine Learning Platform and builds the shared infrastructure that helps DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo teams safely bring GenAI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalisation to production. Our mission is to increase the velocity of business impact from GenAI. A central pillar of that work is running frontier open-weight LLMs and VLMs (such as GLM, Qwen, Kimi, and DeepSeek) ourselves — real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning on autoscaling GPUs — delivering large cost and latency wins (for example, a billion embeddings produced roughly 20× cheaper and visual models served roughly 72% cheaper). We also own core platform surfaces including the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution.
About the Role
You will join a small, high-leverage team building production infrastructure for Generative AI at Deliveroo and DoorDash, leading the design and architecture of our open-weights model platform spanning inference and fine-tuning: real-time GPU serving, high-throughput batch inference, and model fine-tuning. You’ll set technical direction across model serving and inference engines, fine-tuning and training pipelines, GPU autoscaling and utilization, batch pipelines, backend services, and observability, and mentor engineers as you go. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys owning ambiguous, high-impact systems and pushing the cost/performance frontier of GPU inference and fine-tuning in a fast-moving technical area where product needs, model capabilities, vendor ecosystems, and cost/performance tradeoffs are evolving quickly.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Lead the design of infrastructure that helps teams move GenAI ideas from prototype to production, increasing the velocity of business impact from AI across the company.
Own and evolve our open-weights serving stack — real-time GPU endpoints, high-throughput batch inference, and fine-tuning (SFT/DPO/LoRA) — alongside the LLM Gateway, Agent Gateway, evals infrastructure, guardrails, and cost attribution.
Architect scalable, high-performance systems for model serving, batch inference, GPU autoscaling, and fine-tuning that power real customer and internal automation use cases
Push the cost and latency frontier of GPU inference — turning batch jobs that took days into hours and cutting inference cost by multiples — while giving product teams a clean choice across open-weight and closed-source models with reliability, fallback, observability, and cost controls built in.
Build platforms that support rapid experimentation while meeting production standards for latency, scale, monitoring, SLOs, playbooks, and operational excellence.
Partner closely with — and raise the technical bar for — ML engineers, product engineers, data scientists, and platform teams across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo to turn emerging GenAI capabilities into durable platform primitives.
Set technical direction for the future of the company's centralised GenAI platform — including emerging directions such as reinforcement learning (RLHF/RLVR), agent optimisation, and other post-training and agentic techniques — enabling the next generation of AI-powered products, agents, automation, and personalisation.
We’re excited about you because…
BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of industry experience in software engineering
Deep backend engineering fundamentals, especially in Python and distributed systems.
Track record of designing and owning production services, APIs, data pipelines, or ML infrastructure at scale.
Experience operating systems in production, including observability, debugging, reliability, incident response, and performance/cost optimization.
Deep hands-on experience with LLM inference and/or fine-tuning of open-weight models in production — serving (latency, throughput, batching, autoscaling, GPU utilization) and/or fine-tuning (SFT/DPO/LoRA).
Demonstrated technical leadership: leading design across ambiguous, fast-moving technical areas, mentoring engineers, and turning customer use cases into reusable platform capabilities
Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software
Nice To Haves
Experience with LLM inference engines and serving frameworks (e.g., vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM) in production
Experience with distributed/multi-node fine-tuning and training pipelines (SFT, DPO/RLHF, LoRA), including data preparation and evaluation
GPU performance work — multi-node/distributed inference, KV-cache/memory optimisation, quantisation (FP8/INT8/AWQ/GPTQ), or cold-start/throughput tuning
Experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), GPUs, serverless/elastic GPU platforms (e.g., Modal), or high-throughput batch systems
Experience with LLM gateways, model routing, vendor abstraction, or cost attribution
Experience building developer platforms, internal platforms, or self-serve infrastructure
Experience building and deploying AI agents or MCP servers in production
Experience with eval systems, LLM observability, tracing, RAG, search, or vector databases

An overview of this role
At GitLab, our mission is simple: to enable everyone to contribute to and co-create the software that powers our world.
As a Senior Backend Engineer on
Tenant Controls
, you'll design, implement, and evolve backend capabilities for a global platform that millions use. You'll solve problems of high scope and complexity, influence technical and product direction, and improve system quality, reliability, and performance beyond assigned feature work. Working across product, frontend, infrastructure, data, and security, you'll make pragmatic architectural trade-offs and partner with product managers and designers to deliver value to users in a remote-first, asynchronous environment.
What you’ll do
Design and ship moderate to complex backend features with minimal guidance, choosing between modular-monolith code, shared components, and independently operated services.
Influence team objectives, technical direction, and long-range goals, partnering with product managers and designers to shape requirements around user needs.
Define backend standards for style, maintainability, testing, application programming interfaces (APIs), and operational readiness, advocating for quality, security, availability, and performance.
Mentor associate and intermediate engineers, remove technical blockers, and improve delivery practices through code and design reviews.
Diagnose and prevent performance and reliability issues at scale, participate in incident response, and act as a technical owner where appropriate.
Experiment with and integrate agentic AI into production engineering workflows, evaluate its effectiveness, and coach others on responsible use and sound judgment.
What you’ll bring
Strong command of backend architecture, APIs, data systems, and performance tuning in a complex product or service environment.
Proficiency in modern backend languages and a deep understanding of systems programming, with the ability to learn and adapt rather than mastery of a single language.
Experience designing or evolving modular backend boundaries, bounded contexts, and migration-safe architectures.
Ability to lead through influence, technical judgment, and clear asynchronous written communication, connecting product needs with technical decisions and directing your own work.
Experience building or operating agentic AI systems in production, including loops, tool use, and error-handling strategies that support reliability at scale, beyond prompt engineering alone.
Helpful, but not required: experience with high-throughput distributed systems, concurrency or profiling; containerized production operations (such as Kubernetes); database performance (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, schema evolution or partitioning); large-scale modular monoliths or event-driven systems; public technical communication, open source maintenance or developer-focused software as a service (SaaS).
About the team
You'll join
Tenant Controls
within Production Engineering, where we own application-level rate limiting on GitLab.com. We build the framework that defines, counts, and observes every application rate limit and migrate existing implementations onto it. Our mission is to give GitLab.com a single way to define, configure, and observe these limits, so operators can understand them during an incident and change them without a deploy.
