An Overview of this role
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to serve as an internal PM embedded within this team. This is not a traditional external-facing product role—it is an internal platform product leadership position. You will own the roadmap for our enterprise systems, act as the strategic voice of the business within engineering, and bring senior product craft to a team of Analysts and engineers who build and operate GitLab's revenue infrastructure.
This role is ideal for a seasoned product leader who has deep Quote-to-Cash or Finance domain knowledge, thrives at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, and is energized by mentoring high-performing teams through complex, multi-program environments.
What You’ll Do
Internal Product Roadmap Ownership
Define, own, and maintain the multi-quarter internal product roadmap for QTC and Finance Systems, covering Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite, and the CDot metering platform.
Translate business strategy from Finance, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Sales into sequenced, prioritized system capabilities with clear outcomes and success metrics.
Balance competing program demands—stabilization, net-new capability delivery, and technical debt reduction—with transparent trade-off frameworks.
Drive quarterly and annual planning ceremonies, partnering with Engineering Managers and Business Systems Analysts to align capacity with roadmap commitments.
Stakeholder Partnership & Requirements Translation
Serve as the primary internal product voice for all QTC and Finance Systems initiatives, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, and Legal.
Lead discovery, requirements workshops, and business process design sessions to translate complex financial and commercial requirements into actionable system specifications.
Own the decision layer between "what the business needs" and "what engineering builds," resolving ambiguity with structured frameworks and documented decisions.
Navigate cross-functional stakeholder dynamics including SOX compliance, audit controls, and revenue recognition governance (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
Team Mentorship & Capability Building
Act as a product craft mentor and senior thought partner for the BSA team, actively upskilling analysts in product thinking, requirements structuring, acceptance criteria definition, and roadmap communication.
Model and instill product management best practices—user story writing, prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW), sprint review discipline, and outcome tracking—across the team.
Partner with leadership to evolve the operating model of the team from project-execution-focused to product-thinking-led, raising the bar for how ETA delivers business value.
Provide structured feedback and growth coaching to BSAs on career development, helping analysts grow toward senior and lead levels.
Program Strategy & Delivery Oversight
Lead product strategy for major multi-quarter programs (e.g., consumption-based billing iterations, CLM/Order Forms, Zuora Product Catalog refactors, ERP optimization) from discovery through go-live.
Define and maintain program-level dependency maps across concurrent workstreams, surfacing risks early and driving cross-team resolution.
Own UAT strategy and acceptance criteria in collaboration with BSAs, ensuring system changes meet business requirements before production release.
Support post-launch stabilization and continuous improvement cycles, prioritizing defect resolution and incremental enhancements based on business impact.
Systems Architecture Collaboration
Partner with Enterprise Architects and Engineering Managers to evaluate build-vs-buy-vs-configure decisions for new capabilities.
Bring informed opinions on QTC platform architecture trade-offs (e.g., billing model design, middleware integration patterns, revenue recognition rule configuration) based on deep domain knowledge.
Stay current on platform roadmaps for Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite, identifying opportunities to leverage native capabilities before custom builds.
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in an internal platform PM, enterprise applications PM, or systems product leadership role.
Deep domain expertise in Quote-to-Cash systems: Salesforce CPQ, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and NetSuite ERP are the core stack—hands-on configuration or implementation experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to own and communicate multi-quarter internal product roadmaps to senior business and technology stakeholders.
Strong command of revenue lifecycle processes: opportunity-to-quote, order management, billing and collections, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and financial close.
Experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment with an understanding of audit trails, approval workflows, and change management requirements for financial systems.
Track record of successfully running complex, multi-program delivery environments with competing priorities and shared engineering resources.
Sufficient technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineering on API design, data model decisions, and integration trade-offs—without needing to write code.
Experience with consumption-based or usage-based billing models
About the team
You'll be joining the Revenue Lifecycle & Finance Systems team within GitLab's Enterprise Technology Architecture organization. Our team is responsible for the systems and processes that power GitLab's entire revenue lifecycle—from configure-price-quote through contract execution, billing, revenue recognition, and financial close.
We are in an exciting and demanding phase: transitioning GitLab's go-to-market from a pure subscription model toward consumption-based offerings while simultaneously modernizing our core platforms. This role will be central to shaping how that evolution happens—and how the team grows in capability and product maturity alongside it.

An overview of this role
GitLab is building the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps platform, and this role will help shape how teams move from planning to code in an AI-native software development lifecycle.
As Senior Product Manager, Source Code, you'll shape how planning and managing source code will evolve in an AI-native software development lifecycle. This role is focused on bringing planning and code closer together, so teams can move from requirements and specifications to commits, merge requests, and customer value with speed and quality.
This area is evolving quickly. We're exploring how AI agents can use specifications, context, and human feedback to build the right thing, not just build the thing right. You'll define new product experiences for spec-driven, human-in-the loop development: how the link between planning intent and the code that implements it gets created, stays accurate as both change, and gets used at review time. The hard part is that this link decays. Code moves, specs might not follow, you will define how to make that connection self-maintaining.
This is an ambiguous, high-impact opportunity for a product manager who has strong software development lifecycle knowledge, is comfortable working with technical teams, and wants to help create something new in DevSecOps.
What You’ll Do
Define and drive product strategy for experiences that connect planning, source code management, and AI-assisted development.
Shape workflows where teams and agents move between intent and code in both directions, so a specification can be traced to the merges that implement it and a diff can be read and reviewed against the intent behind it.
Work with engineering, design, and other product teams to build product experiences that support human-in-the-loop and autonomous development workflows.
Partner with teams working on demos and prototypes, including near-term work around spec-driven planning and autonomous development modes, including which decisions stay with a human and why.
Use customer insights, product usage data, and market context to identify opportunities that can deliver customer value quickly.
Help teams ship fast with quality, balancing near-term execution with longer-term product direction.
Explore how planning can better account for reviewing code, reviewing test cases, and validating that work produced by agents matches the intended outcome.
Collaborate across Plan, Source Code Management, Code Review, and AI product areas to reduce friction across the software development lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
Experience as a product manager working on developer tools, DevOps tools, source code management, planning tools, AI-native products, or related software development lifecycle products.
Direct, hands-on experience with the source code lifecycle, including branches, merge requests, code review, CI/CD, and releases, whether as a product manager or as an engineer, along with a strong understanding of how software moves from ideas and requirements through planning, coding, review, testing, and delivery.
Experience working with technical product areas and engineering teams, with enough technical depth to understand developer workflows and tradeoffs.
A data-forward approach to product management, including experience using data to identify customer impact and guide prioritization.
Comfort operating in ambiguous spaces where there may not yet be a clear market pattern or established product category.
Experience building or shipping with AI tools and agents, not just using them, and a point of view of your own on where AI helps and where it does not across the software development lifecycle.
Ability to think creatively about how AI changes the software development lifecycle and how product experiences should adapt.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in an all-remote, asynchronous environment.
A bias toward action and the ability to help teams ship meaningful customer value quickly.
About the team
This role sits within the Product organization and will work closely with teams across Plan, Source Code Management, Code Review, and AI. We are focused on helping GitLab customers plan, build, and deliver software in a faster, more connected way.
You'll join a group that is rethinking how planning and coding should work as AI changes the speed and shape of software development. Rather than treating planning, coding, and review as separate stages, we're exploring how to bring these workflows closer together so humans and agents can collaborate more effectively.

Work closely with our product team, leaders, and customers to help design and develop features that make Fivetran the one-stop shop for data activation.
Mentor early-career engineers, perform thoughtful and constructive code reviews, advise on best practices, provide project-level leadership, operate across teams, departments, and time zones.
Lead major projects, from driving research spikes, to writing and socializing design documents, to planning the implementation and rollout

About Hex Trust
Hex Trust is a fully-licensed and regulated financial institution for digital assets. We hold licenses in Dubai (VARA) and Singapore (MAS), are registered in Hong Kong (TCSP), and operate 24/7 from offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Vietnam.
We are an integrated provider of custody, trading, financing, staking, and tokenization services. Our custody platform, Hex Safe, is one of the strongest in the market and serves 600+ institutional clients globally: investors and allocators (VCs, funds, family offices), Web3 companies (foundations, protocols, token issuers), and service providers (wealth managers, OTC desks, brokers, PSPs, corporates, banks). It stands out as the only platform offering regulated cold wallets with transaction signing under 1 second, compared to an industry average of around 2 hours.
As a pioneer in digital asset infrastructure, we are now expanding our ecosystem by strategically entering the payments’ business space. This expansion marks a pivotal milestone in our growth, aimed at bridging traditional finance with the digital economy through compliant, scalable and instant payment infrastructure.
Position Summary
We offer an attractive, formula-based, uncapped bonus structure tied directly to originated revenue, paid quarterly.
We are looking for a VP / Director Senior Sales for Cross-border Payments Solutions with a strong network across the payments and PSP ecosystem in APAC and the GCC. The ideal candidate has sold payment infrastructure into institutional clients, understands how PSPs and fintechs make integration decisions, and can speak credibly about stablecoins, on/off-ramps, settlement, and APIs.
As a Senior Payments specialist, you will help spearhead Hex Trust's strategic expansion, transforming our core enterprise capabilities into cutting-edge merchant solutions and global digital payment networks.
This role carries two mandates:
Scale our existing Convert-to-Pay business
by originating and closing PSP, acquirer, and fintech clients across APAC and the GCC — driving payment volume, recurring revenue, and stickiness from day one.
Secure a flagship design partner
to co-develop the next generation of programmable stablecoin payment infrastructure — a strategic, build-the-future mandate at the frontier of where payments and digital assets are heading.
This is a pure origination role with high autonomy and direct impact on revenue. You will own the commercial cycle end-to-end: prospecting, structuring, closing, integration coordination, and ongoing client coverage. The platform is proven, the licenses are real, and we have the right to win.
Duties & Responsibilities
Own the full commercial cycle for Convert-to-Pay: prospecting, qualification, structuring, closing, integration coordination, and ongoing client coverage across APAC and the GCC.
Identify and win new PSP, acquirer, fintech, and payment-infrastructure clients to grow stablecoin payment volume, recurring revenue, and assets in flow — this is a hunting role.
Translate Hex Trust's regulated, API-first stablecoin payment capabilities into commercial wins with senior payments and treasury stakeholders.
Identify, qualify, and secure a flagship design partner to co-develop the next generation of programmable stablecoin payment infrastructure — shaping requirements, structuring a co-build relationship, and turning early collaboration into a long-term commercial anchor. This is a core responsibility and a key deliverable for the role.
Work closely with product, client operations, compliance, and legal to deliver smooth onboarding and integration.
Feed product, marketing, and leadership with market intelligence and client signals that shape the roadmap and our go-to-market.
Requirements
7–10 years of institutional or B2B sales / business development experience, with meaningful time in payments.
Proven track record of selling payment infrastructure — ideally cross-border, on/off-ramps, acquiring, or stablecoin/digital-asset payment rails — into PSPs, fintechs, or financial institutions.
An existing, active network in the PSP and payments ecosystem across APAC and/or the GCC. This is critical; we are not building your network from scratch.
Strong working knowledge of stablecoins, settlement, treasury workflows, and payment APIs — you do not need to be an engineer, but you must speak credibly on these topics to technical and commercial audiences alike.
Demonstrated ability to run the full sales cycle independently — prospecting through close — in a lean, fast-moving environment, including consultative, product-minded selling and co-creating solutions with early or strategic partners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex products clearly to senior stakeholders.
Fluent English is required. Mandarin (for HK/Singapore) or Arabic (for GCC) is a strong plus.
Highly organized and self-driven, comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Candidates who do not tick all the boxes are still encouraged to apply, those with less experience will still be considered for the position but with an adjustment to the level of seniority.
Benefits
As one of the leading Web3 innovators,
Hex Trust
offers a front-row seat in the ever-changing blockchain & crypto industry.
