SENIOR LIFECYCLE MARKETING MANAGER
ABOUT WISTIA
Making videos is easy. Making them work for your business? That is where Wistia shines. Our end-to-end platform gives businesses the tools to create, host, share, and analyze videos and webinars, all in one place.
Our mission? To be the go-to video and webinar platform for businesses. And we know that mission starts with a team that feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping our users discover, adopt and realize ongoing value with our product and features. This role will combine strategic thinking with analytical rigor and exceptional execution to serve a wide range of customers with unique needs, delivering the right message at the right moment.
This role will identify opportunities through customer insights and product data, design sophisticated lifecycle programs, lead customer engagement strategies for new products and features, and continuously evolve the user experience through experimentation. You’ll partner closely with Growth Product, Product Marketing, Content, Demand Generation, Customer Success and more to shape what content gets created based on what the lifecycle program needs, connect what happens next when someone clicks an email and lands in the product, and build customer delight programs that turn satisfied users into advocates for the brand.
Who You'll Work With: This role reports to our Senior Director of Demand Generation, and partners closely with the Growth Marketing, Content, Marketing Operations, Growth Product, Demand Generation and Customer Success teams.
What It's Like Working on This Team: This is a hands-on, high-ownership IC role that will own the strategy and the execution. You'll be the person in the room asking whether something is actually right for the person receiving it, not just convenient for an upcoming initiative, and you'll proactively mine the database for what's missing: which segments are underserved, which lifecycle moments have no coverage, where we're leaving user potential on the table. While your primary, initial execution is email, your thinking extends beyond that, asking what happens after the click and flagging when a complementary channel, in-product moment, or webinar should be running alongside it.
This role will leverage AI to meaningfully scale what they are able to do — accelerate experimentation, sharpen segmentation, find patterns in the database faster than any manual process could — and bring what you learn back as a resource for the broader marketing team, not just apply it to your own work. You will regularly translate what you are seeing in customer behavior into input that shapes what the rest of marketing invests in next.
- Why is this role exciting? The lifecycle program has strong foundations ready for a dynamic and more personalized approach that’s connected to how users actually grow with Wistia. You will not be executing someone else's playbook; you will be building the next one. You’ll partner with Product Growth and other marketing teams to create key touchpoints with our user base and have ownership of one of marketing's highest-leverage channels at a company with a loyal, engaged customer base and a product that delivers real value.
- How does it directly support Wistia's mission? Wistia's mission is to be the go-to video and webinar platform for businesses. This role will help users realize that value by discovering what the product can do, deepening how they use it, and understanding what Wistia can mean for their business long-term. You will be building and influencing the engine that makes those connections happen.
- What interesting challenges will candidates tackle? Evolving a maturing email program toward trigger-based, behavior-driven lifecycle marketing takes real craft and cross-functional reach. You will shape what content gets created, work with product and growth teams on the infrastructure that enables personalization at scale, and use AI to do things that were not previously possible with a lean team. The challenge is not just technical — it is also about building the internal relationships and trust that let you influence how the whole organization thinks about engaging its users.
Work Environment: Remote — open to candidates anywhere in the US.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deeply understand our users and our product to help them succeed and grow
- Own the strategy and execution of 1:many and 1:few lifecycle programs, primarily through email, focused on driving product adoption, feature awareness, and cross-sell/purchase readiness across trial and customer audiences — setting users up for the expansion moments that matter, upstream of the transactional triggers.
- Build and evolve a trigger-based, behavior-driven email program that supports what users are actually doing in the product.
- Proactively mine and analyze our existing database for opportunities: identify underserved segments, under-engaged users, and untapped lifecycle moments that email can address, and build programs around what you find.
- Develop a customer delight program to reward and celebrate our customers for their success, turning them into advocates for our brand.
- Partner closely with Content to identify gaps and shape what gets created based on what the lifecycle program needs to drive adoption and awareness. Yes, you’ll use existing assets, but also actively influence the content roadmap.
- Partner with Events, Webinar, and Product Marketing stakeholders to ensure lifecycle email is integrated with launches, live programming, and feature releases and vice versa. When a feature ships or a webinar goes live, this person should already have a lifecycle angle ready.
- Work alongside Marketing Ops as a partner on HubSpot strategy and architecture, having input into how the platform is structured and maintained to support lifecycle goals.
- Leverage AI tools to scale the sophistication and output of the email program in the short term while also planning ahead for what will be needed in the future.
- Define and track KPIs tied to adoption, engagement, and cross-sell readiness. Translate those signals into input for the broader marketing team by surfacing what the data tells us about user behavior, content needs, and where we are leaving value on the table.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Growth Marketing, Growth Product, Marketing Ops, and Customer Success to ensure the email program is working in concert with the broader GTM motion and that your insights about the customer lifecycle are actively shaping how the team operates.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 9+ years of email and lifecycle marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company, with a consistent track record of owning strategy and program outcomes — not just execution.
- You may have managed a team at some point in your career, and you are choosing to stay hands-on. You know your leverage is in your craft, your systems, and your ability to scale through smart use of AI — not headcount — and you have built your career around that.
- You are already using AI tools in meaningful, practical ways to scale output and program sophistication — from content generation to segmentation logic to experimentation velocity. You bring that muscle into this role and keep pushing it forward.
- Deep HubSpot expertise: you can architect segmentation, automation workflows, and dynamic content at a program level, and you are comfortable co-owning the platform with an Ops partner rather than operating within someone else's setup.
- A strong cross-functional influencer, particularly with Content, Events, Webinars, Product Marketing, and Growth Product teams that produce things the lifecycle program should be amplifying and integrating.
- You know how to identify what the lifecycle program needs, build alignment with partners who have their own priorities, and get results without direct authority.
- A genuine user advocate — you think about what is right for the person receiving the email, not just what is useful for the business sending it, and that instinct makes the programs you build more effective.
- Analytically sharp: you can look at funnel and engagement data, identify where email can move the needle, and build a compelling case for what to prioritize next.
- Experience with adoption and engagement-focused programs — you think about email beyond acquisition and conversion and understand how to use it to build product habits and deepen customer relationships over time.
- Experience with PLG or product-led growth motions — trial activation, feature adoption signals, self-serve upgrade behavior — is a meaningful plus.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING AT WISTIA
At Wistia, we are building the leading video platform for small and medium B2B businesses, and we know that starts with our team. We support, challenge, and celebrate one another, and we invest deeply in connection. Why? Because strong relationships drive better outcomes, and because work is more meaningful when we genuinely care about the people we do it with.
We care a lot, so our benefits are actually benefits, not just the fun stuff like swag and snacks in the office (though we have lots of those too!). We know the biggest investment we can make is in our employees, so we provide:
- A competitive compensation package that includes employee stock options
- 401k with 3% company contribution, regardless of whether you contribute (Roth 401k available)
- Fully paid healthcare, dental, and vision insurance premiums (family plans included)
- Pre-tax FSA and Dependent Care Account
- 16 weeks of paid parental leave
- Flexible Time Off. Everyone should get out of their office to recharge and reboot.
- Annual professional development stipend (courses, conferences, and more)
- New hire bonus to enhance your home office setup
- Pet insurance discount

What The Role Is
As a
Senior Engineer
at Babylist, you take on hard problems and own them end-to-end. Millions of families depend on what we build. Agents write most of the code now. So the hard part is yours: what to build, how it should work and whether what shipped was right. You're still in the code for the genuinely hard problems. Agents handle the volume. You spend your time on the parts that need a person.
We're building well beyond the registry now: the financial side of raising a kid, maternal health made simpler and more human, the education new parents are looking for and the community around them. The hard problems run across all of it, plus the platform underneath and the AI we already ship to families. You'll start on a team, but you won't be boxed into it. The roadmap is open, your scope grows as you do and you have a say in what you take on next. Senior here means owning whole problems; Staff is the next step up, setting direction across a domain.
What You'll Own
A Senior Engineer here owns problems, not just features. You're handed an outcome, you decide what to build, ship it and own whether it worked. You act on incomplete information and change course fast when the evidence says you were wrong.
What you do depends on what the team needs:
Frame the problem with your PM as a peer, run the experiment and bring customer evidence into what gets built.
Harden a critical path, kill a class of incidents or design the abstraction your team builds on.
Be the reviewer people want on the risky changes.
Manage up with crisp choices: raise the risks early and protect the right tradeoffs.
Share what you're learning about AI openly, so the whole team gets sharper.
A few problems people at this level are working on right now:
Deciding what the registry recommends to each family, from the ranking to the model behind it, and proving in a live experiment that it actually helps.
Building the evals system that catches our AI support agent making things up before a customer does.
Making a child's info one source of truth instead of five disconnected flows, so parents set it up once and new products like Early Investor build on it.
Who You Are
You've been shipping production systems for years, and you've got the judgment to show for it. You can pick up an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture.
The strongest Senior engineers here are generalists, and usually the most prolific builders on their team. You go wherever the problem leads: a backend service one week, a stubborn frontend bug the next, the data pipeline after that. When it's hard you dig in, and you learn unfamiliar parts of the stack fast. Range is the Senior signature.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a Canada-based Senior Engineer, the starting base salary range is $255,900 to $318,600 CAD, plus a target annual bonus of 15 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly $294,285 to $366,390 CAD. On top of that you get meaningful equity and an RRSP match. Where you start in that range depends on your experience, and your pay grows from there with performance and scope.
How We Build
AI is the default here. Engineers run agentic sessions for most of the work, and a lot of the interesting engineering now lives in the scaffolding that makes the agents good: the eval harnesses, the curated context, custom review skills and fast CI. Agents also triage incidents and handle a big share of support. A human always owns the outcome. The architecture is intentionally simple: one Rails monolith, MySQL and few moving parts. That's deliberate. Simple infrastructure lets us move fast and lets AI reason about the whole system, so the hardest problems are the ones in front of customers.
The Stack
Core app:
Rails, Packwerk, React, TypeScript, Sidekiq
Mobile:
iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin)
Data, search & events:

deep learning, matrix factorization, retrieval & ranking, AWS SageMaker, MLflow
AI & dev tooling:
Claude Code, Devin, Linear, CodeRabbit, Warden, LangChain, Bedrock AgentCore, Maxim
Infra & ops:
AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Datadog, incident.io, LaunchDarkly

Why Babylist
An engineer, expecting her first baby, couldn't find the registry she wanted. So she built it. That's how Babylist started, and it's still how we work: engineers solving problems for families. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest moments in a person's life. Millions reach it for the first time every year, making thousands of decisions and figuring it out as they go. That's who we build for, and we're a long way from done.
Ten million people give gifts through Babylist every year. We did more than $750M in revenue in 2025, up 45 percent over the year before, and we've been profitable for eight years while staying independent. So you can take on a hard, multi-year problem without watching over your shoulder for the next round or the next correction. And the team is small, around 65 engineers, so what you ship stays visible and your scope stays wide.
How We Work
Remote-first across the US and Canada, and we have been for years. That's not changing. We trust you to own your time and your outcomes, and we get everyone in a room together twice a year. Teams are small, pods of three to five engineers, so nothing you ship disappears into a committee. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, design and data, and with the partners across the business who rely on what you ship. You'll also stay close to customers yourself: sitting in on user interviews, watching session recordings, riding along with support. Here that's part of the engineering job, on a regular basis.
How We Hire
Three rounds, usually two to three weeks, start to finish.
Recruiter conversation (30 minutes).
Trade context: what you want next, what we're building and straight answers on comp, team and remote.
Technical screen (1 hour).
One round, no AI, language-agnostic. Reach for Google when you normally would. We just want to see how you reason from first principles.
Final round (4 hours).
Four one-hour interviews: system design, AI-assisted coding with the tools you'd actually use here, product sense and culture and values. You'll hear back either way within 24 to 48 hours.
If your timeline is tight, tell us and we'll move faster.
Benefits
Company-paid medical and fully covered dental and vision
A RRSP match
Generous paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus a gradual return-to-work program
Winter Wonder Week, a paid company-wide week off at the end of the year
A remote-work stipend
Mental-health and wellness support
A Few Things To Know
We record and transcribe interviews to evaluate candidates, in line with applicable privacy laws.

What The Role Is
As a
Staff Engineer
at Babylist, you own some of our hardest domains and decide where they go.
You'll own a big piece of the product, but you won't be boxed into it. The roadmap is open. You have a say in which bets we make, and you pick what you take on next.
What You'll Own
A Staff Engineer here sets direction. You own a domain: a product surface, a platform area or a capability that cuts across several teams. You set where it's going over the next year or two, sequence the bets that get there and make the technical and product calls along the way. You're still in the code. We don't have architects who've stopped building. If you stepped away, multiple teams would feel it. Your influence shows up in the systems and the work other teams choose to build on. You don't need direct reports to have that reach. It comes from what you build.
In practice, you:
Take a fuzzy business problem from the first sketch through to production, and stay on the hook for whether it actually helped customers.
Build the platform or tooling other teams adopt by choice, and own it as it scales.
Make the architecture calls that span teams and the ones that are expensive to reverse.
Set the standard for how your domain builds with AI. Decide what good looks like, build the patterns and evals that get agents there and catch the output that's confidently wrong before it ships.
Partner with product, design and data as a peer, shaping what's worth building from the start.
Coach Senior engineers through the hard calls, the ambiguous ones as much as the technical ones.
A few problems people at this level are working on right now:
Resolving one customer across registry, shop and health, plus the friends and family buying for them, so personalization works everywhere without each team rebuilding it.
Designing the knowledge system our coding agents reliably load, and working out how much context actually helps before it starts to hurt.
Building Early Investor, our new family finance product, from scratch, on a deadline that can't move.
Who You Are
You've shipped production systems for enough years to have earned strong opinions, and you hold them loosely. You can pick up an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture. You've already changed how a team builds with AI, and the new way stuck. Most Staff engineers lean one of two ways, and both do well here. Some point their depth at the systems everyone runs on: the platforms, the reliability and security bar, the harnesses that make AI produce good code. Others point it at the customer: framing the problem with PMs as peers, owning a journey end to end, deciding what to build and learning whether it worked. You don't have to be both. You do have to be excellent at one and fluent in the other.
A few things that tend to be true of people who thrive here:
You measure yourself by impact: a customer outcome, or a system a dozen teams come to depend on.
You're curious: you spot problems before they're filed and push your own ideas until they ship.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a Canada-based Staff Engineer, the starting base salary range is $299,300 to $372,600 CAD, plus a target annual bonus of 20 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly $359,160 to $447,120 CAD.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Engineering Manager for Product Engineers, you will lead a group of talented builders creating the core developer experience of the Render platform. This role blends strong technical leadership with product thinking: you’ll partner closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into high-quality, scalable systems that developers rely on every day. You’ll be responsible for guiding technical direction, developing engineers, and ensuring the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while maintaining the high standards that define Render’s platform. - Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
- Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes.
- Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver value quickly while supporting long-term platform evolution.
- Ensure teams maintain a strong understanding of the developer experience and customer impact of the features they build.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, customers, and internal teams to understand needs, align priorities, and ensure delivery of impactful features and solutions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem
- 2+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features.
- Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience building products for developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools.
- Background working on highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices.
- Experience building products used directly by developers or technical users.
- A track record of successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to drive adoption and retention.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.

www.mattermost.com
We are seeking a
Senior Full Stack Engineer
to help build and scale Mattermost's core web platform for teams operating in defense and critical infrastructure sectors. You will contribute across our Go backend and React/TypeScript web frontend, building features that hold up under strict security, compliance, and reliability requirements.
Our engineering culture is AI-forward. We expect engineers to work fluently with AI coding agents such as Claude Code day-to-day — for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — and treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut. We would rather hire smart people who get stuff done than chase an exact tech-stack match. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Architect and build full-stack features optimized for scalability and performance across Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Leverage AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor as a core part of your daily workflow while retaining full accountability for correctness, security, and design decisions
Develop internal tooling and testing infrastructure to speed up the team's delivery, including agentic workflows and skills that make AI tooling more effective for the broader team
Own testing strategy across frontend and backend code you ship
Design and consume REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
Maintain the security and compliance standards required by our government and enterprise clients
Contribute to Mattermost's open-source codebase
What We Are Looking For
Required:
Strong full-stack development experience in Go and React, or a comparable stack
Experience designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
Relational database experience including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
Hands-on daily fluency directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — with the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to take the wheel yourself
Bias toward shipping and owning complex software end-to-end without close supervision
Nice to Have:
Experience with distributed systems or high-availability service architecture
Familiarity with enterprise or regulated-environment security requirements
Background in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure products
Open-source contributions
Experience working on distributed or remote-first teams
Experience building tools, skills, or workflows on top of AI coding agents including MCP servers, agent skills, or CI-integrated agents
How Success Is Measured
First 90 Days: Shipping full-stack features on the core platform using an AI-forward agentic development workflow and owning testing strategy across the code you ship.
Why Mattermost
Mission-driven work: Your contributions directly support the organizations and missions that depend on secure, reliable collaboration including the U.S. Department of War and critical infrastructure operators worldwide
Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere with a globally distributed, high-trust team built for autonomy and ownership
AI-forward environment: We actively adopt and build AI-enabled workflows. Agentic development is core craft here, not a novelty
End-to-end ownership: Ship and own complex software across the full stack with real accountability for what you build
Open source at the core: Be part of a vibrant developer community shaping the future of secure collaboration
Target Salary Range: $142,723- $172,723
Mattermost takes a market-based approach to pay and pay may vary depending on your location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Mattermost offers a remote-first work environment with medical, dental, and vision coverage. You’ll also receive unlimited PTO plus company holidays, a work from home stipend, an annual learning and development budget for conferences, certifications, and courses, paid parental leave for all parents, and a 401(k) plan.
U.S. Eligibility & Compliance
This role may require obtaining and maintaining a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must meet federal eligibility requirements to be considered. For more information visit
Security Clearances — United States Department of State
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled information as defined by U.S. export control laws, including EAR and ITAR. For more information visit the

Mattermost is an EEO Employer, we are a remote-first, open-source company.
We are continually working to expand our hiring in more countries and regions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, which takes time.
Mattermost values your unique perspective—we welcome all applicants. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply and are committed to assessing candidates based on their skills and qualifications. ABOUT AVOCA
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our GTM Recruiter, you'll partner with the Head of GTM Recruiting to build out Avoca's commercial organization at one of the most pivotal moments in our growth. You'll own end-to-end recruiting across Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Marketing, and adjacent commercial roles, with the autonomy to shape how we attract, evaluate, and close talent as we scale.
This is a builder's seat. You'll inherit a foundation but have real ownership over candidate experience, sourcing strategy, and the systems that will define how Avoca hires for years to come. You'll work directly with sales and commercial leadership as a trusted partner, and report to our Head of GTM Recruiting.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run full-cycle recruiting across all GTM functions, holding a high bar on quality and speed while managing multiple searches in parallel.
- Identify and engage passive talent that isn't on the market yet, building relationships over weeks and months so that when the right role opens, the right person is already in conversation.
- Shape a candidate experience that becomes a competitive advantage, where every touchpoint reflects our culture, declined candidates refer their network, and our process itself is a reason people say yes.
- Craft authentic outreach and positioning that cuts through the noise of generic pitches and gets elite candidates to take the call.
- Partner with hiring leaders on intake, calibration, and closing strategy, influencing decisions with data and conviction.
- Build the operational backbone, from pipeline tracking, scorecards, sourcing playbooks, that lets us scale without sacrificing quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5-7 years in GTM recruiting at high-growth startups (agency backgrounds welcome), ideally early-stage experience.
- A track record of sourcing and closing top commercial talent, not just running process on inbound.
- Demonstrated ability to identify passive candidates and build long-arc relationships that convert.
- Strong stakeholder management: you can push back on a hiring manager and earn their trust at the same time.
- Comfort managing multiple reqs simultaneously with rigorous follow-through and organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ideally fluency in our core stack: Ashby, Noon AI, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion.
WHO YOU ARE
- Builder mentality: you see gaps in process and want to fix them, not flag them.
- Energized by inflection points and the ambiguity that comes with scaling fast.
- Thoughtful about candidate experience as a craft, not a checkbox.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Solutions Product Marketing Manager to define and own Baseten's up-market, enterprise, and industries go-to-market strategy. You'll build the playbook that helps Baseten win large, complex deals and the vertical go-to-market strategies that let us compete in Financial Services, and Health & Life Sciences, and the use cases that scale across all of them.
This is a highly cross-functional, largely greenfield role. You'll partner closely with the Industries sales team, product marketing, demand gen, and executive leadership to build on our enterprise go to market motion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Deal Playbook & Buyer Enablement
- Build the enterprise deal playbook and full bill of materials (BOM) — pricing guides, one-pagers, TCO/ROI guides, landing pages, and event/field collateral — mapped to every stage of the buyer's journey
- Build the system for keeping every sales asset current — clear ownership, last-updated dates, and a refresh cadence
- Develop industry-specific event concepts featuring anchor customers and AI-native accounts to build credibility with target executive audiences
Vertical GTM & Industry Go-to-Market Kits
- Build vertical sales kits and ICP/positioning frameworks for priority industries
- Own industry-specific landing pages, messaging, and TCO guides, extrapolating from early AI-native accounts to larger enterprise targets
- Design and help launch ABM experiments in partnership with demand gen
Industries AE Enablement & Onboarding
- Design role-specific onboarding for Industries AEs, including certifications, customer-grounded scenarios, and async, refreshable content
- Build sales playbooks tied to real customer examples, and package assets into an AE-ready enablement motion (first call, competitive deals, legal/finance/procurement, TCO/ROI, self-hosted)
- Become a trusted partner to the industries team so onboarding and enablement stay grounded in what sellers actually need
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, or a related GTM function, ideally at a technical or infrastructure company
- Experience building enterprise or vertical go-to-market motions — ICP definition, buyer journey mapping, and full-funnel sales collateral
- Comfort translating technical, infrastructure-heavy concepts (inference, self-hosted deployment, TCO/ROI) into narratives for both technical buyers and non-technical stakeholders like legal, finance, and procurement
- Track record designing and running sales enablement or onboarding programs for technical sellers
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills — you can pull together sales, customer marketing, demand gen, and executives around a shared plan
- Comfortable owning execution as well as strategy: landing pages, decks, one-pagers, and written content, not just frameworks
- Thrives in ambiguity — this role is about building the enterprise motion from a fairly blank slate
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in (or a fast ability to ramp on) financial services, manufacturing/industrial, or health/life sciences
- Experience running or contributing to a Customer Advisory Board or executive champion program
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, inference, or developer tools
- Experience partnering with technology partners on co-marketing or joint events
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

About the Job:
Feature management and experimentation have converged into a single market, and the buying dynamic at the top has shifted. Engineering teams are no longer the sole evaluator — data scientists and data-focused PMs now carry equal weight on the largest deals. The bar for statistical depth, warehouse ergonomics, and experiment-first workflows is rising quickly.
In traditional experimentation we have built the foundation: a trusted runtime control plane, a growing experimentation engine, and early warehouse-native capabilities. We are winning lower-maturity buyers at healthy rates. We are not yet consistently winning the most sophisticated data organizations. Closing that gap is the job.
In AI experimentation, we have an early lead: the AI-native tooling category has invested in evaluation and conceded production experimentation, and we already have the primitives (statistical significance, multi-armed bandits, experiment-aware guardrails) that no AI-native competitor ships. Extending that lead is the other half of the job.
This leader will own whether LaunchDarkly becomes the definitive experimentation platform in an AI-accelerated world.
Responsibilities:
Own the Experimentation pillar.
Direct leadership of the Product team. Partner with Engineering and Design counterparts in a triad model. Accountable for the pillar's strategy, roadmap delivery, and commercial outcomes. Make the investment case across the in-product experimentation experience, the warehouse-native analysis layer, and the infrastructure that scales them.
Make experimentation the measurement layer of the AI SDLC.
Partner with our AI product, observability, and core feature management leaders to productize the capabilities we already have as AI-native primitives. Build a closed loop from offline evaluation through production experiments, to automatic promotion and rollback, to a self-improving feedback loop for agents.
Win the high-maturity buyer.
Earn the technical confidence of senior data scientists and data-focused PMs. Decide what statistical depth, warehouse coverage, and experiment-first workflow capabilities are non-negotiable, and get them shipped on a timeline that wins pivotal reference deals.
Make warehouse-native a weapon.
Expand coverage across major data warehouses and query layers. Deliver parity on analysis-only mode, variance reduction, ratio and percentile metrics, exposure validation, and arbitrary-window analysis.
Operate a high-performing function.
Run a disciplined roadmap, ship predictably against quarterly commitments, drive AI-assisted engineering productivity inside the org, and hire where gaps exist.
Be the external face of the category.
Credibly represent the product with Data scientists, PMs, experimenters, analysts, and partners. Translate the strategy to the field and equip sales to win head-to-head.
How you'll be measured:
Win rate on experimentation-involved deals, especially head-to-head competitive evaluations — step change in the first year, sustained improvement thereafter.
Reference-grade customers at the top of the maturity curve, including named strategic logos.
Monthly active customers and active-account ARR growth against plan.
Experimentation attach rate on new and expansion enterprise deals.
Engineering throughput — roadmap delivery velocity and AI-assisted development adoption inside the function.
Qualifications:
Senior product leader (GM, VP, or equivalent) with a track record of owning a product line that competes on statistical rigor and data infrastructure.
Deep, operator-level fluency in experimentation methodology: causal inference, variance reduction, ratio metrics, sequential testing, exposure design, multi-armed bandits, and composite/multi-objective metrics — and the realities of running these at scale against production data warehouses and against non-deterministic systems where output variance, not just user variance, drives sample-size and significance decisions.
Has earned credibility with data science leaders and experimentation specialists at sophisticated organizations — and can recruit them.
Has led a function that includes engineering, design, and data science. Comfortable setting a multi-quarter roadmap, championing investment allocation, and reporting results to an executive team and board.
Clear, direct communicator. Decides fast with incomplete information. Prefers shipping and learning to requirements documents.
Opinionated about where experimentation is going in an AI-native world — and specifically, how agents and autonomous systems will use experimentation infrastructure differently than human teams do.
Preferred Qualifications:
You have built or scaled experimentation at an organization where it was core infrastructure, not a secondary analytics capability.
You have personally won competitive evaluations where a sophisticated data-science organization was the deciding voice.
You have shipped warehouse-native data products and understand the operational realities of running experiments directly against customer data infrastructure.
You see experimentation as how software teams prove that any change — whether built by a person or an AI agent — actually worked. That evidence layer is core infrastructure, not a reporting afterthought.

Quarterly and periodic business reviews
KPI and performance reviews
Strategy and risk discussions
Annual and multi-year planning activities
Leadership decision and follow-up processes

Strategic Initiative Leadership
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span studios, functions or SIE organizations.
Establish clear objectives, decision rights, milestones and measures of success.
Assign members of the Strategy & Planning team to priority initiatives based on business need and individual capability.
Coordinate work across teams without assuming ownership that appropriately sits within existing functions.
Surface dependencies, resolve ambiguity and escalate issues when leadership decisions are required.
Ensure strategic initiatives are sequenced appropriately so the organization is not overloaded by competing demands.
Step into ambiguous or high-risk work where direct senior leadership involvement is required.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Build strong partnerships across Production, Finance, Development Strategy, Technology, Portfolio Management, HR and studio leadership.
Connect information and priorities across teams that may otherwise operate independently.
Support alignment between Studio Business Group priorities and broader SIE planning and operating rhythms.
Help clarify roles, ownership and decision rights when work crosses organizational boundaries.
Facilitate productive executive discussions around competing priorities and trade-offs.
Represent the Strategy & Planning function in senior-level cross-SIE planning and operating forums.
Leadership Expectations
The Senior Director will lead a small team while also operating as a senior individual contributor on the organization’s most consequential work.
The successful candidate must be able to move fluidly between:
Advising senior executives
Setting direction for the Strategy & Planning function
Developing and coaching team members
Leading complex cross-functional initiatives
Reviewing and elevating the quality of team output
Personally producing analysis and recommendations when the work is highly sensitive, ambiguous or strategically important
The role requires strong judgment regarding what to own directly, what to delegate to the team and what should remain with established functional leaders.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, portfolio strategy or a related field.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high-performing strategy, operations, consulting or planning team.
Experience directly advising C-suite or equivalent senior executives and supporting complex enterprise-level decisions.
Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
Strong business judgment and the ability to understand connections among strategy, operations, financial performance, organizational design and execution.
Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes or performance management systems.

Improved quality, speed and clarity of executive decisions
A consistent and effective business operating cadence
Greater visibility into business performance, risks and strategic trade-offs
Stronger alignment across studios, functions and SIE partners
Clearer accountability and follow-through on leadership decisions
High-quality strategic insights and executive recommendations
