About the role
Rove Next is a new premium line from Rove Concepts, a Vancouver-based modern furniture brand selling direct to consumer across Canada and the US. Rove Next launches with improved versions of best-selling pieces and needs its own marketing built from the ground up. The role involves owning how Rove Next reaches and retains customers, focusing on email and lifecycle marketing. The goal is to scale marketing through AI and systems rather than headcount, building a clean function rather than inheriting one. This is not a coordination role but requires problem-solving and proactive management.
Scope
Initially focused on Rove Next, with potential to expand across the Rove Concepts group as the brand grows.
What you'll own
— Email and lifecycle as the primary owned channel, including campaign calendar, flows, segmentation, deliverability, and list health, using Klaviyo.
— Quality control on all outgoing materials: copy, creative, link destinations, offers, regional versions, ensuring errors are caught before shipping.
— Building AI into daily work, shipping AI solutions rather than just proposing them.
— Collaborating with lifecycle and email team, designers, and external ads partner to maintain the campaign calendar.
— Translating marketing results into clear business language, explaining spend, revenue, and recommendations.
Must-haves
— Five or more years in ecommerce or DTC marketing with real ownership of email and lifecycle marketing, experience with Klaviyo or comparable ESP.
— Demonstrated ability to build AI workflows independently and solve problems proactively.
— Fluent, native-level English, both written and spoken, capable of writing premium-sounding copy.
— Strong attention to detail, able to assess assets for alignment with promises, tone, and offer accuracy.

Position Summary:
The Software Deployment Engineer I/II is an individual contributor responsible for end-to-end delivery, configuration, installation, and support of Kommand warehouse execution/control systems and related material handling hardware such as pick-to-light, overhead illuminators, AutoStore, and T-sort integrations. The role includes project-level system configuration, commissioning, installation, upgrades, and live troubleshooting independently across on-site and remote/office phases. Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Delivery:
— Lead software commissioning of Kommand and peripheral hardware systems at customer sites as primary technical owner.
— Full-scope installation of pick-to-light and overhead illuminator systems including wiring, physical installation, configuration, and functional testing.
— Conduct Installation Qualification (IQ) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with formal documentation and customer sign-off.
— Sole owner of Kommand and system-level troubleshooting for live production issues during on-site engagements.
Remote / Office Delivery:
— Independently deliver new Kommand installations including application pre-configuration, database scripting, and pre-deployment testing.
— Deliver Kommand version upgrades including SSDT schema comparisons, version control, local pre-install testing, and customer coordination.
— Perform production upgrade execution after business hours to minimize downtime.
— Work on DEV, QA, and Sandbox environments during business hours.

About Analytics at LawnStarter
The analytics team supports the entire company including product, marketing, operations, and finance. The data platform includes a centralized Redshift data warehouse, modeled in dbt and orchestrated by Airflow, with Segment feeding event data. The team is mid-migration to Lightdash as the single BI platform, replacing Tableau and Metabase. Currently, data quality, tracking standards, and platform hygiene are side tasks handled by analysts.
The Role
The Analytics Engineering Manager will be the first dedicated person for data governance, responsible for data trustworthiness and the roadmap to improve it quarterly. Responsibilities include ensuring quality and freshness of source data, pipelines, reports, metric definitions, Segment event tracking standards, Lightdash workspace health, data feeding ML models, and data security. The role involves collaborating with product, marketing, ops, and finance to prioritize platform work. It is a hands-on role starting solo, building automation, checks, fixing issues, and establishing scalable processes. Eventually, the manager will hire a Lead Analytics Engineer and grow the function as needed.
