Location: Berlin
Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
ROLE SUMMARY
You own the marketing-technology layer behind Taxfix's growth: the conversion signals that tell ad networks who converted, the customer data that powers CRM, the consent flows that decide what we may share and with whom, and the referral program, one of the growth mechanics the team owns end to end. This is a senior individual-contributor role with no direct reports. You set direction for a small engineering team (a tech lead plus 3–4 engineers, two-week sprints) that supports four products across three markets, with Paid Acquisition, CRM, Brand and Creative as internal customers. A typical week mixes debugging a missing ad-network event, scoping a referral reward, settling a data-sharing question with Legal, and explaining trade-offs to leadership. All work, including across markets, happens in English; German is not required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own conversion-signal engineering for paid acquisition: client-side and server-to-server events into Singular, Firebase/GA4, Google Ads and TikTok, including synthetic events, revenue values and predicted-LTV signals.
- Run the referral program as a product: reward mechanics, eligibility and fraud rules, voucher infrastructure (Voucherify), the in-app voucher wallet, entry points, and the experiments that tune them.
- Grow push and marketing-consent opt-in through permission primers, iOS/Android OS permission flows and notification preferences.
- Keep CRM data trustworthy: Braze attributes and events, Snowflake-to-Braze syncs, event-loss monitoring, and moving legacy messaging (SendGrid, Firebase) onto Braze.
- Turn consent and privacy requirements into product behaviour, and work with Legal on what data can go to which partner.
- Adapt tracking, CRM attributes and attribution to company launches, such as new subscription pricing tiers, without breaking downstream campaigns or reporting.
- Turn stakeholder requests, support escalations and spike findings into tickets engineers can start on, and decide what goes into the sprint.
- Weigh roadmap work against platform upkeep: pipeline migrations, security fixes, end-of-life SDKs.
- Design A/B tests (Eppo) and read the results for marketing and consent opt-s, and referral changes.
- Report progress, risks and trade-offs in writing to marketing leadership, including VP and C-level.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Several years as a product manager owning martech, growth infrastructure or data products, setting your own roadmap with senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on mobile and web attribution: an MMP (Singular or comparable), server-to-server events, and ad-network conversion setups (Google Ads, TikTok).
- Event-tracking depth: you can define an event schema, write a tracking spec, and trace a missing or duplicated event through Segment, Google Tag Manager and the receiving platform.
- CRM data platforms, ideally Braze: custom attributes, event-triggered segmentation, data ingestion and sync quality.
- Working knowledge of EU consent and privacy: GDPR, consent mode, iOS App Tracking Transparency, and how push permissions behave on iOS and Android.
- Experimentation: framing hypotheses, choosing and configuring metrics, judging when a result is real.
- Precise writing: specs that engineers (and AI coding agents) can start on without a meeting, and concise updates and decision memos for leadership.
- Enough technical fluency to work through trade-offs with engineers across mobile apps (React Native), backend services and data pipelines, and to triage production incidents.
NICE TO HAVE
- Performance marketing experience with the main app and web acquisition channels (e.g. Google Ads, TikTok).
- Referral, loyalty or voucher programs; Voucherify specifically.
- Predicted-LTV or value-based bidding signals (e.g. Churney).
- Deep linking and deferred deep linking across ad networks.
- AI-driven CRM orchestration (Aampe) or creative asset tooling (Frontify, AI creative tagging).
- Building AI agents or automation for product and engineering workflows.
- Querying data yourself in SQL (Snowflake), and familiarity with dbt and Airflow.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.

This is a highly influential role that requires both strategic architectural vision and deep hands-on engineering expertise. Design scalable and resilient distributed systems capable of supporting millions of users and high transaction volumes.
Establish clear architectural boundaries, service ownership, integration patterns, and data flows across multiple engineering teams.
Drive critical architecture decisions involving microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

Collaborate with the CTO, Engineering Leads, Product Leaders, and business stakeholders to align technical architecture with business strategy.
Evaluate new technologies, architectural approaches, and infrastructure solutions.
Ensure security, reliability, observability, performance, and operational resilience are embedded into architectural decisions.
Remain deeply involved in technical discussions, solution design, and implementation reviews.
Requirements
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in enterprise, platform, or solution architecture roles.
Mandatory experience architecting systems within FinTech, banking, payments, digital banking, or cryptocurrency companies.
Proven experience designing architecture across multiple interconnected products, services, or business domains.
Strong software engineering background, ideally as a Senior / Lead / Principal Engineer.

Track your pipeline and performance against agreed targets
Analyze which messages, channels, and approaches generate the strongest conversion
Share market and prospect feedback with the Sales team and contribute to improving the outbound playbook

Ability to demonstrate previous pipeline targets and attainment with specific results or metrics

Recent hands-on experience with cold calling and confidence speaking with prospects by phone
Experience running outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone

Will be an advantage:
Previous experience in the maritime, aviation, or travel industry
Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions to mid-market or enterprise customers

Apply our brand voice and tone guidelines, ensuring website copy, presentations, and sales materials remain consistent.

What you need for this role:
5+ years of experience in content marketing, PR, communications, or integrated marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

Experience using content and PR tools, media monitoring solutions, content management systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, eClincher, PR Newswire).
Native-level English proficiency with exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, able to transition seamlessly from a punchy 150-character post to long-form content while maintaining brand voice.
A systems mindset focused on building scalable, localizable, and measurable content strategies rather than chasing short-term trends.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and time zones.
Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to create and adapt content, paired with strong editorial judgment on where human oversight is essential.
Comfort with data, with a proven ability to derive actionable business insights from performance dashboards.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
MISSIONS
As Alan’s Corporate Paralegal, you will own the corporate governance of a fast-growing international group (six jurisdictions and a dozen entities today, more in the coming months) and rebuild how that work gets done with AI. The role has three parts:
Own Alan’s corporate governance with full ownership.
- Prepare Boards, General Meetings and committees documentation across the group, with internal teams and auditors;
- Keep entity records, registers and filings accurate and up to date;
- Run the annual accounts approval and filings for each entity, with Finance and auditors;
- Be the go-to contact for shareholder and Board questions;
- Support cross-border projects with research and drafting.
Build the governance playbook as Alan expands.
- Set up governance for each new entity, in a way the next one can reuse;
- Write the playbooks, templates and guidance local teams need to follow our processes;
- Adapt equity frameworks and documentation to new countries and local rules.
Automate the repetitive work with AI.
- Build workflows that run in the background with light human review, using no-code tools and Alan’s internal AI, with support from our tooling team;
- Start with recurring events such as meeting minutes, equity movements and the filings calendar.
You will join the Corporate Governance Area, led by Anne-Lise Delfanne https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-lise-d-4a454bb/, and work alongside a team of legal and corporate operations experts. Our collaboration model encourages growth and curiosity, so you will never feel cornered in your role.
KEY OUTCOMES AFTER SIX MONTHS
After six months, you will have:
- Taken ownership of the recurring governance work for our French entities;
- Built AI agents and workflows that take a large share of manual work off you and the team;
- Improved our templates and documentation;
- Reviewed or drafted legal documents in several areas;
- Supported our international expansion, for example by opening an entity or onboarding a local team on our processes;
- Built strong working relationships with the Corporate Governance Area, Finance, People and local advisors.
From then onwards, the role grows with you: M&A, fundraising, reorganisations and more.
PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES
SKILLS
This role sits at the intersection of legal knowledge, corporate operations, and AI tooling. We don't expect anyone to arrive fully skilled across all three dimensions. What matters most is your ownership mindset and genuine appetite to build. For the rest, we'll grow together.
- Experience: Ideally 2+ years owning corporate secretarial work, as a paralegal in a law firm, in legal or corporate ops in-house, or as a company secretary.
- Legal knowledge: a law degree or paralegal qualification, and/or hands-on experience with several of the following: board and shareholder documentation, entity management, corporate filings, equity documentation, due diligence or transaction coordination;
- (Bonus) AI and tooling appetite: you already use no-code or AI tools (e.g. Make, Zapier, Notion automations) to save time, or you are keen to learn fast;
- Language: excellent written and spoken English (working language at Alan) and French.
We encourage applications from career changers who do not have all the above qualifications, if you have a strong interest in working at the heart of corporate operations and willingness to learn fast.
BEHAVIOURAL TRAITS
- Highly organised and rigorous, with exceptional attention to detail;
- Hands-on and self-starter: not scared of getting your hands dirty;
- Automation mindset: sees repetitive work as an opportunity to build something better, not just a task to complete;
- Intellectual curiosity: you enjoy learning, and new jurisdictions, equity mechanics, areas of law and AI tools are puzzles to solve, not constraints.
Location: We welcome applications that meet the above criteria from France, Belgium, Spain and Canada.
Level: For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B0-C0 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
THE M&A AND INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION ROLE
Alan is diversifying its activities in the fields of healthcare, prevention and insurance through mergers and acquisitions, and is actively expanding internationally. In addition, Alan recruits talent worldwide and enables its employees to work remotely in complete safety.
“Alaner, everywhere”. The role makes sure each acquisition and each country opening is legally secure, fast and humane: from HR due diligence, to transferring employment contracts, to fully integrating the people who join us.
You'll join the Expansion crew inside the People team. You'll work closely with the crew owner, and with Corporate, Finance, team Leads and General Managers involved in each deal.
THE PEOPLE TEAM
The People team is made up of 13 people who work in an environment shaped by Alan's Leadership Principles. Every one of them is a genuine fan of our products (Culture being one of them) and deeply committed to Alan's Prevention and Health mission.
The team covers Learning and Development, Payroll and Admin, Employee Experience and Operational Efficiency, Compliance and Employment Law, Comp and Ben, and now M&A and International Expansion.
It is a generalist team: everyone shares three core missions, namely People on-call (answering the day to day questions from Alaners, which is now AI-powered), individual situation management, and HRBP responsibilities. This represents roughly 50% of our time. Then each person owns one or more cross-functional topics depending on their flavour. In your case: M&A and expansion.
YOUR MISSIONS
On top of the core missions shared across the People team, you will work on a very diverse range of high-impact topics:
You will own to the People workstream of M&A transactions from due diligence to integration, alongside the crew and in close collaboration with the Corporate team, Legal, Finance and the business owners of each deal.
Depending on the nature of the deal, you will own:
- HR due diligence: reviewing headcount, employment contracts, collective agreements, compensation & benefits, liabilities and risks of target companies, and flagging red flags clearly to the deal team;
- Transferring employment contracts in France and abroad, and choosing the right path for each deal and country;
- Integrating acquired teams: day-1 and first-months plans, harmonising contracts and benefits, communicating with acquired employees, onboarding them into Alan's way of working;
- You will support the people transition of acquired teams, working with the crew and leads on team set-up, keeping key talents, and supporting every individual situation with care;
- Working with external advisors (law firms, HR advisory, relocation and EoR providers): writing clear briefs and challenging their advice.
Also:
- Opening new countries on the People side: entity vs employer of record, compliant local contracts, benefits and payroll partners
- You will handle international relocations and cross-border situations for Alaners moving or working between countries (visas, social security, tax, type of contract);
- Building reusable playbooks (HR due diligence checklist, integration playbook, "country opening – People" checklist) so each new deal is faster than the last
- Taking on global and cross-border individual situations (mobility, work from anywhere, sensitive cases)
- Raising the team's expertise: sharing your knowledge of employment law and M&A practices with the crew and the wider People team
- Leveraging AI and automation to multiply the impact of your work
OUTCOMES WITHIN YOUR FIRST MONTHS IN THE TEAM
BY 2.5 MONTHS:
- You are autonomous on day-to-day People on-call requests;
- You have mapped our current M&A and country-opening practices and shared a first list of gaps and quick wins;
- You have contributed to the People workstream of at least one live deal or country opening (due diligence, contract transfer or integration);
- You have contributed to our reusable playbook (e.g. HR due diligence checklist);
- You have shadowed and been reverse-shadowed on individual situation management.
BY 5 MONTHS:
- Depending on the ongoing projects, you own the People workstream of a deal end to end, from due diligence to integration, with the crew as a sounding board;
- You have run, or co-run, one talent density assessment and the parting ways cases that came with it;
- You handle cross-border individual situations without supervision;
- Your playbooks are used by the crew and by Legal / Finance on new deals;
- Leads and crew members come to you as the go-to expert on these topics.
IS THIS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR?
You may be a great fit for this role if:
- You have around 5 years of experience focused on HR M&A and integration topics, for example in a reputable HR advisory firm or in an HR team that focuses on these topics.
- You have worked on acquisitions in the Tech industry, not only on very large corporate groups, and you know the method is not the same.
- You master HR due diligence and the transfer of employment contracts.
- You have worked on post-merger integration, including talent density and parting ways, not only on the pre-signing side.
- You have international exposure: you have worked on deals or entities outside France.
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken (all of our internal processes, documentation and communications are in English).
- You are adaptable and creative: you adjust your method to each type of company and deal instead of copy-pasting one process.
- You are very organised: you run several confidential workstreams in parallel without dropping balls.
- You are a strong communicator, with very different audiences (founders, acquired employees, leads, lawyers), in writing and orally.
- You are strong technically and can teach us things.
- You show judgement and discretion with confidential information and sensitive human situations.
NICE-TO-HAVE
We are not looking for all of the below. Any one of these can be a strong signal.
- You have a legal background, ideally in employment law.
- You have worked in or with a Tech scale-up that made several acquisitions.
- You have opened entities or set-up employers of record in new countries.
- You speak another language relevant to our expansion (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese; Arabic).
- You are AI-enthusiastic and actively use tools to multiply your impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're building agents that run real parts of our business, take on real work, and get better based on the results they produce. You'll build them with whatever is most capable right now: our own agents platform, the latest orchestration tools, and frontier models. The hard part is making them reliable, measurable, and safe enough for the business to depend on.
You'll sit in Marketing Engineering and be forward-deployed to our growth pods, where you'll find the problems worth solving and own the solutions end to end. You might be a forward-deployed builder, an applied AI engineer who has taken agents beyond the demo stage, or a full-stack engineer who is curious about growth.
REQUIREMENTS
- Python, SQL, LLM APIs and agent orchestration

The Role
We are seeking an experienced English into Bosnian (Cyrillic) Review Lead to serve as the language quality owner and primary client-facing linguistic expert for a leading global technology client.
You will own the locale’s interpretation of the client’s quality standards and make sure that the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers all work to the same shared understanding of “good”. You will be the main point of contact for the client’s Language Manager on quality discussions, arbitration, and escalations, and you will drive consistency, quality governance, and continuous improvement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
Project Details
- Location: Remote (based in one of the approved countries below)
- Expected volume: Approximately 24 hours per month
- Employment type: Freelance / Independent Contract
- Task type: Language Lead Support
- Content types: UI, Marketing, Informational, Legal, Product, Support
- Language pair: English into Bosnian (Cyrillic)
What You Will Do
-Analyse requirements: Review every style guide and glossary update, assess which quality categories and content types it affects, and record the changes. Track what the client’s Language Manager actually corrects and says in calibration and quality calls, not only what is written down.
-Relay expectations: Run regular alignment roundtables with the language community and publish a structured monthly quality digest covering performance, priority improvement areas, style guide updates, and notable errors and arbitration outcomes.
-Manage review quality actively: Coach Reviewers one-to-one using specific examples, run shadowing sessions, and deliver training built from real alignment data.
-Improve the standard: Turn recurring justification patterns into well-reasoned style guide proposals, and share cross-locale patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
-Maintain alignment with the client: Treat Language Manager decisions as the standard, raise concerns with evidence at the right forum, and aim for fewer surprises over time.
What You Will Own
-The locale’s review service score, including RQE audit and alignment performance
-The community’s shared understanding of quality
-The integrity of the arbitration record, ensuring that every arbitration sent to the client is valid and well-evidenced
-The working relationship with the client’s Language Manager, including clarifications, escalations, and expectation tracking
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles
- Client and stakeholder management: Direct experience as the primary point of contact for client Language Managers, managing formal arbitration or escalation processes, and facilitating conflict resolution
- Quality audit frameworks: Deep, practical experience with localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping
- Style guide and expectation analysis: Ability to analyse style guide changes, identify implicit client expectations, and map tolerance by content type (for example, Marketing vs. Legal vs. UI)
- Meeting facilitation: Hands-on experience with one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting
- Analytical approach: Skill in tracking error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores, and in converting justification patterns into style guide improvements
- Language: Native-level Bosnian (Cyrillic) and professional-level English
- Preferred: Prior experience supporting major technology localization programs and working with calibration or alignment tools
Additional Key Information
- Successful candidates will be provided with a dedicated device for project work.
- A background check is required as part of onboarding.
- Candidates must be physically located in one of the approved countries.
Approved countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and build new features for our Android application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:
Multi-account cash flow management
Banking transactions and payments
Physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control
AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose
.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.

,
Hilt
, or

(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with

in production.
Confidence with

, including setting up and maintaining

.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency in Jetpack Compose, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Android Profiler
,
Perfetto
,
Baseline Profiles
, or similar.
Published apps on
Google Play
you're proud of.
An active
