Provectus is an AI consultancy founded in 2010 and led by its founders. As an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Preferred Partner, we help Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences companies design, build, and operate production AI systems. With offices across North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we work with clients worldwide.
We are hiring an Account Executive to turn incoming enterprise leads into signed consulting engagements. Clients buy multi-month consulting engagements. You won't build pipeline from scratch. Anthropic and AWS share qualified enterprise leads with us.
Your job has four parts:
Qualify those leads quickly.
Run discovery with buyers at banks, insurers and life sciences companies.
Scope the work with our architects.
Close.
What you'll do:
Pick up new leads as they arrive, decide which to pursue, and be able to explain why.
Run discovery calls with business and technology leaders. Map their process, data, regulatory constraints, budget and decision path.
Work with delivery leads and architects to scope proposals and SOWs that we can deliver. You are selling consulting engagements, not software licenses.
Negotiate and close to a signed SOW, with the Chief Commercial Officer joining larger deals.
Run the full sales cycle: discovery, solution scoping, proposal, negotiation, close.
Translate Anthropic's product roadmap and partnership incentives into the client propositions.
Keep Anthropic and AWS partner reps informed on the leads they share, and take part in joint pipeline reviews.
Keep the CRM current and forecast your deals accurately.
Bring buyer objections and patterns from each industry back to leadership and marketing.
Travel for client meetings, up to 30% of your time.
What You Need:
2–4 years in a client-facing commercial role in a consulting or IT services firm where you closed deals yourself, such as account executive, account manager, or consultant who owned client sales. Be ready to share the specifics: what you closed, at what size, and how long each deal took.
OR experience with banks, insurers, or pharma/biotech companies in one of these roles: selling services or technology to them (including smaller deals you closed yourself or larger deals where you supported the lead); working on client projects at a consulting firm, including proposals or scoping; or working inside one of these companies on projects where you helped evaluate and select outside vendors.
Working knowledge of Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets) or Life Sciences (pharma, biotech). You have worked in the industry or sold into it, and you can discuss a buyer's process and regulatory constraints in their terms.
Experience selling services engagements or complex B2B deals with several stakeholders.
Clear written and spoken communication with director-, VP- and C-level buyers.
Comfort handling a steady volume of leads and choosing where to spend your time.
Strong plus:
Experience selling AI/ML, data or cloud services.
Experience working partner-referred leads from Anthropic, AWS, GCP or Azure.
Why this role is worth your time:
Leads arrive every day, so your time goes into closing rather than prospecting.
You learn enterprise AI consulting sales in two regulated industries.
You close with support: our architects scope the work with you, and the Chief Commercial Officer joins larger negotiations.
The delivery team can execute what you sell: 350+ people, 150+ certified architects, and 100+ customers in production.
Work at the intersection of two AI partnerships: Anthropic and AWS.
High-impact role with direct visibility to leadership.
Compensation and benefits:
Base $90–120K + commission, OTE range $140–170K.
The salary range is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, and alignment with market data.
B2B contract model or full-time model.
Unlimited vacation policy.
Generous health, vision, and dental insurance, and life insurance.
401(k) matching plan.
Our process:
A 30/45-minute call with our recruiter.
An interview with the AE about a deal you closed.
An interview with the Chief Commercial Officer.
An interview with the CEO.

ABOUT PEEC AI
AI search is changing how brands are discovered and chosen. People now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google’s AI answers what they used to search for, and AI assistants increasingly shape the journey from discovery to purchase. Winning customers now means winning over the AI systems that influence their decisions.
Peec AI is an AI search platform that helps marketing teams understand and improve how their brands are discovered, represented, and recommended. We show them where they stand, what’s shaping it, and where to act. Since launching in January 2025, Peec AI has passed $20M ARR and 4,000 paying customers. We’re a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, with 100+ people across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
THE ROLE
Almost everything Peec shows a customer passes through a model at some point. We track brands, products, sentiment, citations and sources across millions of AI answers. Those answers change whenever a provider ships a new model and differ by country, language and prompt. Turning that into numbers customers can trust and act on is the core data science problem at Peec.
Our data science team has grown fast, with AI-powered features shipping across the product. We're now growing the team further and need someone to lead it. You'll turn a group of strong individual contributors into a high-powered, fast-shipping team. You'll report directly to the CTO.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Leading people
- Hire, onboard and grow the data science team. We're hiring several data scientists right now, and you'll shape who joins and how they ramp up.
- Build a team culture that matches our values: a high bar for quality, full ownership of outcomes, and kindness towards each other
- Lead and inspire the team through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback and clear career paths
Leading the technical work
- Set the technical direction and roadmap for data science, together with product and engineering leadership, and decide what the team works on and what it doesn't
- Own quality in production with strong operational excellence and reproducibility across the ML lifecycle
- Drive innovation by investing in scalable machine learning data infrastructure
- Stay close to the work: review designs and code, and step in hands-on when it matters
- Represent data science to leadership and customers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years in data science or machine learning, including 3+ years managing data scientists or ML engineers as direct reports, ideally at a high-growth startup or an established tech company
- A track record of building great teams: hiring well, developing people, and creating the standards and rituals that make a team more than the sum of its individuals
- Experience taking ML products from research to production, and building the practices that keep them reliable: evaluation, monitoring, reproducibility
- A solid understanding of LLMs and strong instincts for measurement and statistics when outputs are noisy
- Strong technical depth to review architecture and modeling decisions, ideally in cloud-native environments (GCP a plus)
- Clear communication with executives, engineers and customers, including being honest about uncertainty
- Good judgment under ambiguity, and the ownership to deliver outcomes despite blockers
OUR STACK
A standard Python and SQL stack on GCP. We work with all the major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) as well as open-weight models.
BONUS POINTS
- Contributions to open-source projects or ML tooling
- Public side or research projects that show technical depth
- Publications or talks at ML or AI conferences
- Founder experience or senior technical leadership at a high-growth startup
WHAT WE OFFER
- A defining leadership role with real impact and ownership at one of Europe's fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin

- Strong Written & Verbal Communication: You speak plainly and truthfully. You can communicate complex ideas in a simple and easy-to-understand way for any audience.
- Proactive & Action-Oriented: You act without being told what to do, take full ownership of your work, and proactively seek help and input when needed.
- High-Level Judgment: You exercise strong judgment in complex situations, making informed decisions and anticipating potential consequences for your projects.

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Device Trust Platform team, the group responsible for the lower-level platforms that power 1Password Device Trust and that will, over time, underpin Device Security and the broader 1Password security platform. These systems ingest, process, and store a high volume of telemetry from the devices our customers depend on. Our customers expect this to work with Tier 0 reliability: the services this team owns are always on, and when something fails, it fails over without anyone noticing.
This is an end-to-end team responsible for the data pipelines, storage systems, and infrastructure that keep the product reliable at scale, as well as the application code that runs on top of them. You will lead a group of senior and staff engineers who are already deep in this architecture, and you will grow the team over time, adding engineers as the platform's scope expands and onboarding new hires into a team with high operational standards.
You will be responsible for the resiliency and reliability of our applications. That means owning availability targets, incident response, capacity, and the architectural decisions that keep a multi-region system honest. It also means running a healthy engineering team: planning, design reviews, career growth, and hiring. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Engineering for Device Trust.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years managing and mentoring software engineering teams, including senior and staff engineers, with a track record of engineers growing in scope and seniority under your leadership.
- A strong background in the infrastructure behind highly reliable, high-volume data systems: ingestion pipelines, streaming or queueing systems, large datastores, and the operational tooling around them.
- Hands-on experience operating multi-region systems with failover and redundancy, and owning availability for a service customers treat as critical: SLOs, incident response, postmortems, and the follow-through that keeps incidents from recurring.
- Experience owning production observability: instrumentation, dashboards, alerting, and using telemetry to drive reliability and capacity decisions. Datadog experience is strongly preferred.
- Significant hands-on development experience and strong technical judgment: you can review the code your team writes and partner with staff engineers on architecture and system design.
- Demonstrated success leading a hybrid team that spans infrastructure and application engineering on one roadmap.
- A leadership style grounded in empowering the team: you set direction, clear the path, and defer to the engineers closest to the problem, staying calm and structured under pressure.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including explaining reliability risk and trade-offs to product and leadership partners.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails applications at scale, or with Go services and agent-based data collection.
- Experience with osquery, endpoint telemetry, or other device-data pipelines.
- Experience running Kubernetes-based platforms on AWS or another major cloud, including infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience managing remote and distributed teams.
- Experience building systems that balance rapid iteration with enterprise-grade security and compliance requirements.
- Deep experience with Datadog, including APM, log management, custom metrics, and SLO-based monitoring.
What you can expect:
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of senior and staff engineers who own the platform layer of Device Trust, measuring your success by the team's success rather than your own visibility.
- Hire, onboard, and integrate new engineers as the team grows and as Device Security and other 1Password products come to depend on these platforms.
- Give engineers room to design the solutions they believe are right for customers, while holding them accountable to outcomes. The team closest to the problem makes the technical call; you make sure they have the context, time, and support to make it well.
- Spend your time listening and removing obstacles: unclear priorities, missing context, cross-team dependencies, and process that slows the team down. Advocate for the team's needs with leadership and partner teams.
- Support career development through regular feedback, mentorship, and growth planning, including the path from senior to staff.
- Foster a culture of ownership, trust, and psychological safety, where incidents produce learning rather than blame, and lead by example on transparency, follow-through, and humility.
RELIABILITY AND OPERATIONS
- Own the reliability and resiliency of Device Trust applications and the platforms beneath them, against a Tier 0 expectation from customers.
- Define and maintain SLOs, error budgets, and the monitoring and alerting that make them meaningful.
- Lead the on-call program for the team: rotation design, escalation paths, and runbooks that let any engineer respond with confidence.
- Run incident response and blameless postmortems, and drive remediation work to completion.
- Plan and execute multi-region failover, disaster recovery, and capacity work, and verify it with regular exercises rather than assumptions.
OBSERVABILITY
- Own observability for the Device Trust platform as a product in its own right: metrics, logs, traces, and the dashboards, monitors, and SLOs built on them in Datadog, our observability platform.
- Continue the work already underway on the team to instrument services end to end, so that latency, throughput, error rates, and data freshness are visible per customer, per region, and per pipeline stage.
- Make the health of the platform legible to people outside the team, including support, product, and leadership, through dashboards and status reporting that answer "is it working" without an engineer in the loop.
- Treat alert quality as an engineering problem: reduce noise, tie alerts to SLOs, and ensure every page has a runbook and an owner.
- Use observability data to drive capacity planning and to find reliability risk before it becomes an incident.
TECHNICAL DIRECTION
- Partner with staff engineers to evolve the data ingestion, processing, and storage architecture so it scales ahead of customer growth.
- Set the technical direction for how these platforms generalize to serve Device Security and future products, not only Device Trust.
- Maintain a high bar for performance, security, and data integrity in a security-first enterprise environment.
- Identify and mitigate risks introduced by architectural change, migrations, and new dependencies before they reach production.
DELIVERY AND PLANNING
- Scope, plan, and drive execution of platform initiatives with the team, balancing reliability investment against feature work.
- Coordinate cycle planning, design reviews, and project planning so the team ships predictably.
- Cascade priorities, progress, and risk to stakeholders across Device Trust and partner teams, keeping roadmaps transparent.
- Contribute to cross-team and departmental initiatives that raise the reliability bar across the engineering organization.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Corporate Security Engineer, you'll help secure the systems GitLab team members rely on every day across a fully remote environment. This role sits within Corporate Security Engineering and focuses on building secure-by-default controls for endpoints and the SaaS platforms that support them, with a strong emphasis on macOS. You'll own meaningful technical decisions around endpoint hardening, automation, and detection, and you'll help turn security requirements into scalable engineering systems that are measurable, auditable, and designed to reduce friction for end users.
This is a strong fit if you're motivated by solving security problems with code. You will work across endpoint management, identity, and security operations to improve how GitLab manages macOS, iOS, Windows, and Linux devices through Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, and GitOps workflows. In your first year, you'll be expected to strengthen endpoint security architecture, expand automation, and improve the reliability and auditability of how controls are deployed and maintained.
What you’ll do
Help lead the security architecture of GitLab's endpoint fleet and related infrastructure, with a primary focus on macOS.
Design and support automation for secure endpoint deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management using code-based workflows.
Manage endpoint and SaaS security configuration through Terraform, version control, merge requests, continuous integration pipelines, and automated rollouts.
Define and enforce security baselines across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints.
Develop patching and software distribution approaches that align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.
Partner with Information Technology, Security Operations, and Detection and Response teams to improve endpoint telemetry, detections, and response models.
Drive process improvements that reduce manual work and lower risk by favoring automation, policy-driven controls, and auditable change management.
Mentor engineers across Corporate Security and Information Technology, and serve as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint security issues.
What you’ll bring
Experience designing and delivering endpoint, systems, or corporate security solutions in environments that require scalable, durable controls.
Deep knowledge of endpoint management platforms such as Jamf Pro or FleetDM, especially for architecting and securing macOS environments.
Strong hands-on ability with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices, including module design, state management, and pipeline-based deployment.
Experience working with GitOps workflows where changes are managed through Git repositories, merge requests, code review, and automated pipelines.
Strong proficiency in scripting or programming for automation and security tooling, such as bash, Python, PowerShell, or Go.
Familiarity with cloud identity providers and directories, including platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, LDAP.
Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across distributed teams, and work independently in an all-remote environment.
Openness to bringing transferable experience from adjacent security, systems, or platform engineering backgrounds, along with a practical and security-focused approach to problem solving.
About the team
The Corporate Security Engineering team secures the internal environment GitLab team members use every day, including endpoints, identity systems, SaaS applications, and platforms that store sensitive internal data. It's a small, high-leverage team that treats security work as engineering work: building with code, operating through Git, and using reviewable, testable, and auditable workflows by default. The team partners closely with Information Technology, Security Operations, and Engineering across regions, collaborating asynchronously to build controls that scale across GitLab's all-remote workforce while reducing friction for end users.

ABOUT ELEVENLABS
ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology.
We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses - from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors are some of the world's most prominent, including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $22B - multiples of 11, always.
We have expanded from voice into three main platforms:
- ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale.
- ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
- ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.
Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. IOI medalists and ex-founders. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you.
HOW WE WORK
- High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy.
- Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you.
- AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations.
- Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.
- Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to define the trajectory of AI, surrounded by a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
- Growth paths: Joining ElevenLabs means joining a dynamic team with countless opportunities to drive impact - beyond your immediate role and responsibilities.
- Learning & development: ElevenLabs proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend.
- Social travel: We also provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year, however you choose.
- Annual team offsite: Each year, we bring your entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia, Italy and Cancún
- Co-working: If you’re not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend.
ABOUT THE ROLE
ElevenLabs has grown to over 1,000 in three years, and the rate of growth is not slowing down. As Talent Lead, you will be in charge of one of the most visible and impactful functions in the company: hundreds of hires a quarter across Research, Engineering, GTM and Operations, in one of the most competitive talent markets in history. You’ll move Talent from a high-volume recruiting engine to a strategic partner that tells leaders what is achievable, and you’ll rebuild how we hire using the same AI products we make.
You'll run the entire Talent team (currently 20 - 30 recruiters, sourcers, and talent operations) across verticals, setting the strategy, building the systems, and staying hands-on where it matters. You'll report directly to the Operations Lead and be a close partner to the People team. This isn't a pure executive role - we want someone who still loves the craft of recruiting and can model what great looks like for the team around them.
The right person has done this before at scale - at a company that grew fast and hired harder. Your team will look to you not just for direction, but as someone they can genuinely learn from. This will be an opportunity to shape the direction of Talent at ElevenLab; where we go, how we get there and who we get there with. If you want to shape the future of the Talent industry by building industry-defining playbooks using the latest technology and AI solutions, whilst building an expert team - this might be your best fit yet.
In this role you will:
- Lead the full talent function across Research, GTM, Engineering & Product, and G&A hiring - setting strategy, managing team performance, building a recruiter capacity engine, and driving outcomes across all verticals.
- Shape Talent Operations: ATS (Ashby) configuration, headcount tracking, hiring velocity metrics, and recruiter tooling - ensuring the function runs with precision and minimal friction.
- Identify innovative ways of approaching Talent: design the next-gen Talent org structure, envision how Talent processes can be agentified and work with the team to build ElevenLabs products throughout.
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads and hiring managers, bringing market intelligence, pipeline health visibility, and honest counsel on what it takes to consistently win the best people in the market.
- Build and maintain a strong talent brand through thoughtful candidate experience, community engagement, building a Talent events program and creative sourcing strategies.
- Coach and develop a team of recruiters, establishing clear standards for quality of hire, speed, and candidate experience.
- Partner with functional leaders across Research, Engineering, GTM, and Operations - acting as a trusted advisor who can challenge, align, and mobilize leaders around talent priorities and workforce strategy.
We’re moving quickly on this search. Applications close on 13 November 2026, and we’ll start reviewing right away, so we’d encourage you to apply early.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record leading large TA functions at high-growth companies, with direct experience filling hundreds of roles per year across multiple functions and geographies.
- Hands-on recruiting instincts - comfortable being in the weeds on critical searches, not just managing from a distance.
- Strong people leader who builds, develops, and retains recruiting talent.
- Sharp on process: able to design and iterate on systems, tooling, and workflows that make a team of 20–30 perform at a high level with AI.
- Close collaborator with People, Finance, and business leaders - comfortable operating at the intersection of headcount planning, compensation, and hiring strategy.
- Held a high bar for quality of hire while hitting aggressive volume, with the metrics to show it.
- Advised founders and executive suite on workforce planning, and changed a plan with your judgment.
- Worked with Finance, People and RevOps on headcount planning, capacity modelling, compensation and offer strategy.
- Has recruited across the Americas, EMEA and APAC and understands the differences between markets.
LOCATION
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere, with the ability to operate from New York or London strongly preferred. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Trust & Safety within Render’s Security team. Your mission is to keep Render a trusted place to build and run applications by preventing fraud and abuse, protecting customers from malicious activity, and making it harder for attackers to use our platform.
You’ll lead a team of engineers who build and operate the systems behind this work: detection pipelines, investigation tools, automated enforcement, and protections across the customer lifecycle. You’ll combine strong people leadership with technical judgement, helping the team respond effectively to incidents while investing in systems that prevent recurring problems.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Infrastructure, customer-facing teams, Finance, and Legal to translate emerging threats and customer needs into practical engineering work. The decisions your team makes will directly affect customer safety, platform reputation, fraud losses, and the experience of legitimate developers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and grow the Trust & Safety engineering team through hiring, mentorship, regular feedback, performance management, and career development.
- Define the team’s roadmap, balancing investigations and operational needs with sustained investments in prevention, automation, and platform protections.
- Guide the design and delivery of systems that detect phishing, malicious workloads, payment fraud, and other forms of platform abuse.
- Build investigation and enforcement tooling that gives responders the context to act quickly, records decisions, and supports consistent handling of escalations and appeals.
- Lead the team’s response to significant fraud and abuse incidents, coordinating with other Security teams, Infrastructure, Support, Finance, and Legal.
- Establish sustainable on-call and response practices, including clear ownership, runbooks, escalation paths, and learning from incidents.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to introduce protections at the right points in the customer lifecycle, balancing prevention with onboarding friction and false positives.
- Turn knowledge of attacker behavior and recurring abuse campaigns into improvements that protect customers and reduce repeat incidents.
- Define and use metrics for fraud losses, detection and response time, false positives, repeat abuse, and operational workload to guide investment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years experience managing and developing engineers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and building a healthy, inclusive team.
- A strong background in software and security engineering, with the ability to guide system design, review technical proposals, and make pragmatic architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience building or operating systems for fraud prevention, abuse detection, Trust & Safety, or adversarial security problems.
- Experience leading teams with on-call or incident response responsibilities, and sound judgement when decisions must be made with incomplete information.
- The ability to translate ambiguous threats and business needs into clear priorities, incremental milestones, and shipped improvements.
- Experience using data to evaluate detection quality, understand operational problems, and measure whether interventions work.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across engineering and business teams, including explaining risks and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical partners.
- Empathy for customers and responders, high integrity, and a strong sense of ownership for both team outcomes and long-term system health.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or services that run customer-controlled code and workloads.
- Experience addressing payment fraud, phishing, malware hosting, account compromise, or coordinated abuse campaigns.
- Experience building threat intelligence pipelines, linking related malicious accounts, or integrating external reputation signals.
- Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, or Temporal.
- Experience partnering with Legal and customer-facing teams on sensitive enforcement decisions and external abuse reports.
- Experience building and scaling a team at a growing company.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
