Cantina Labs is a social AI company, developing a suite of advanced real-time models that push the boundaries of expression, personality, and realism. We bring characters to life, transforming how people tell stories, connect, and create. We build and power ecosystems. Cantina, our flagship social AI platform, is just the beginning.
If you're excited about the potential AI has to shape human creativity and social interactions, join us in building the future!
About the Role:
As an Android Engineer at Cantina, you’ll lead the development of innovative, high-performance features — from crafting personalized feeds and immersive custom UIs to empowering bots with AI-driven capabilities like chatting, text-to-speech, voice selection, image creation, and real-time media effects. Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Sean Parker, you’ll influence the direction of a product central to the company’s mission, move quickly to deliver impactful updates, and enjoy the autonomy to bring your ideas to life.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on pushing the limits of Android development and has a passion for creating visually stunning, high-performance experiences. Your expertise in custom graphics, animation frameworks, and media pipelines will help shape the creative foundation of our flagship app.
What you'll do:
- Build and ship high-quality Android features using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and modern Android architecture patterns.
- Develop and optimize video/audio pipelines, real-time media effects, and AI-powered visual features on Android.
- Craft immersive custom UI experiences with deep expertise in Compose animations, custom drawing, and motion design.
- Leverage deep Android internals knowledge — memory management, rendering pipeline, Choreographer, RenderThread — to deliver buttery-smooth performance.
- Architect and maintain clean MVVM application structure with well-separated concerns across UI, domain, and data layers.
- Set up and manage dependency injection using Koin or Hilt, ensuring scalable and testable module graphs.
- Participate in architecture discussions and uphold high standards for code quality, testability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver polished, scalable experiences.
- Take ownership of features as part of a small, fast-moving team shipping to a large user base.
What you'll bring:
- 8+ years of experience developing Android applications, or equivalent.
- Expert-level Kotlin — idiomatic usage, coroutines, Flow, and advanced language features.
- Deep Jetpack Compose expertise: custom layouts, state management, animation APIs (Animatable, Transition, AnimationSpec), and performance profiling.
- Strong command of MVVM architecture and the Android architecture components ecosystem (ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Room, Navigation, WorkManager).
- Hands-on experience with dependency injection using Koin or Hilt in production Android apps.
- Strong understanding of Android internals: View system, RenderThread, Choreographer, garbage collection, and battery/memory profiling.
- Experience with media frameworks: ExoPlayer, MediaCodec, Camera2/CameraX, and real-time effects.
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, documented, and well-tested code.
- Experience with RESTful API integrations and proficiency with Git.
- Keen attention to detail, motion, and animation — you notice when something is 2px off.
- Bonus: experience with AI-driven media features, real-time video/audio effects, or WebRTC on Android.
Compensation:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $180,000-$240,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Claude is trained and served on hardware in data centers Anthropic operates and in sites partners build and run for us. DCSE secures that footprint: the sites, the hardware moving through them, and the people and vendors who touch it. Security at that scale runs on data, and you'll be the engineer who owns it and the systems that produce it: component-level hardware inventory and chain of custody, fed by software that runs at our sites and on hosts, and continuous control monitoring, with the posture calculations that decide what each site is cleared to run.
You set the architecture, agree schemas and interfaces with the teams, operators and vendors that own the sources, build the pipelines, stores and tools, and run what you ship. The goal is security that runs itself: custody, access and evidence verified continuously from records, with tools and AI agents doing the reviews. We favor simple, standard controls and tools that can be verified over elaborate ones. We use Claude throughout our engineering workflow and expect you to as well.
You'll work with the rest of DCSE, including the engineers on its security monitoring platform, with Anthropic's compute and data center operations teams, and directly with data center operators, hardware vendors and logistics providers. The role is based in San Francisco, with remote applicants in the US considered, and involves regular travel to data center sites, which are critical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Hardware inventory and chain of custody:
own the component-level record of what hardware exists, where it is and who has handled it: the data model, the pipelines that join inventory and custody events from many source systems, change history on every record, and the tamper-evident stores behind it
Tools, automation and AI agents:
build the tools and agents the team runs on this data: reconciliation, audit evidence exports, custody checks. When a review keeps costing people time, you build the tool or agent that retires it
Custody workflows and field software:
build the workflows and the site and host software that capture custody events as they happen (a receipt, a move, a data wipe, a decommission) and enforce who is authorized to record them
Continuous control monitoring and posture:
own the pipelines that turn check outcomes, assessment results and findings into per-control and per-site measures over time, against the compliance frameworks we and our partners are assessed against, and the posture calculation that decides what a site is cleared to run
Data quality:
build coverage checks, reconciliation against sources and alerts on a silent or drifting feed, so a wrong or missing record is caught the same day; own retention and access controls on the records
Integration and reporting:
agree schemas and interfaces with the engineers who run the security monitoring platform, and build the query surfaces and reports the team, site leads and leadership use directly
Minimum qualifications
Have designed and run production data systems (relational schemas, change data capture, batch or streaming pipelines and the services around them) and kept them correct: coverage measured, records reconciled against the source, alerts on silence, and a design that expects records to get corrupted or lost
Have integrated with systems you did not control (inventory tools, ticketing systems, vendor APIs) and built data models that outlive any one source
Have shipped software that runs outside a central service (host agents, site-local services, edge collectors) and kept it correct in the field, or built metrics a team made decisions on and defended them when challenged
Have worked hands-on with data about physical assets or security controls: a hardware fleet, data center or supply chain inventory, asset custody, or the control and evidence data of a security or compliance program
Read and review other people's code, and build with AI coding agents using Git and code review
Own a domain end to end: set the approach, design and build it with the teams and vendors whose systems it depends on, and run it as something people use every day
Write SQL and at least one general-purpose programming language well
Preferred qualifications
Experience with asset management, supply chain or warehouse systems where serialized tracking and custody transfer are the core problem
Experience building continuous control monitoring or metrics for a security or compliance program, or producing evidence an assessor accepted, for example against NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001 or SOC 2
Experience with risk or posture scoring that combines control results, findings and other evidence into a measure people make decisions on
Familiarity with data center hardware and its lifecycle from receipt to decommission, and with sites and parties you did not control: colocation, cloud or GPU cloud operators, hardware manufacturers, logistics providers
Have run software on many hosts or at remote sites with versioned rollout and a way to know each copy is still reporting
Have built AI agents or automation that replaced recurring manual work
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards that improve system quality and team effectiveness.
We hire talented and passionate people from different backgrounds because workplace diversity and inclusion is critical to our ability to serve creators worldwide. If you're excited about a role but your past experience doesn't match every bullet point outlined above, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway. Patreon operates under a hybrid work model, where employees based in office locations are expected to come into the office two days per week, excluding sick time and paid leave. The goal of this policy is to be intentional about the in-person time we spend together to strengthen the feeling of community at Patreon. Who We Are
OKX is one of the world's leading crypto platforms — a regulated exchange, a self-custody wallet, and a growing ecosystem of decentralized applications used by millions globally. We move fast, ship constantly, and operate across trading, DeFi, payments, and social products — each with distinct users and design challenges.
Our design organization is in the middle of a meaningful transformation: raising craft standards, building tighter brand-to-product coherence, and embedding AI into how we work. We're backed by our core principles — We Before Me, Do the Right Thing, and Get Things Done — and we take those seriously in how we hire, build, and ship.
About the Opportunity
This is a hybrid onsite position. Candidates must be in the Bay Area, CA.
We’re looking for a Senior Visual Designer to join the Visual System Team, the team responsible for how OKX looks and feels across every product surface, including mobile and web. You’ll work at the intersection of brand expression and product design, crafting the visual layer that makes OKX products feel distinctive, coherent, and trusted.
This isn’t a role where you receive a finalized wireframe and simply apply a visual layer. You’ll be involved early, shaping how features are visually conceived, how brand moments are integrated into product flows, and how visual systems scale across an ecosystem of products used by millions.
You’ll work within OKX’s Visual Systems infrastructure alongside the Design System and Content System teams, contributing to scalable visual frameworks including illustration guidelines, motion principles, iconography standards, and brand-in-product patterns that raise quality across the entire product.
What You'll Be Doing
Design product visual experiences.
Create high-quality visual and UI designs for OKX products across trading, wallet, payments, and social features. Own the visual execution of key product surfaces, from concept through to pixel-perfect delivery. Balance beauty with clarity in a domain where trust and usability are non-negotiable.
Contribute to visual systems.
Work within and contribute to OKX’s visual systems, including shared illustration styles, motion tokens, color systems, iconography, layout patterns, UI components, and design tokens. Your work should strengthen the system, not create one-off exceptions. Think in terms of reusable, scalable assets and patterns, not just individual
Bridge brand and product.
Translate brand direction into in-product visual experiences. Work with the Brand Design team to ensure that visual identity is consistent from marketing to core product, while adapting it thoughtfully to product goals, user needs, and performance metrics. You’ll help create room for the product’s own visual expression without going off-brand.
Design product campaigns and key moments.
Create engaging visual experiences for in-product campaigns, launches, and feature moments. These should feel distinctive and expressive while remaining native to the product experience and aligned with the broader brand.
Use AI tools in your design workflow.
Actively integrate AI into your daily practice using generative tools for ideation, exploration, variation, prototyping, and asset production. You’re expected to experiment with AI-assisted workflows and bring what works back to the team. This is a core part of how we work, not an optional extra.
Collaborate cross-functionally.
Partner with product designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure visual design decisions are grounded in user needs and technically feasible. Participate in design reviews, give and receive critique constructively, and communicate your rationale clearly.
Pitch and present.
Propose creative concepts to team leads and stakeholders. Articulate the reasoning behind visual choices, not just what you designed, but why it is the right solution for the user and the brand.
What We Look For In You
4–6 years of experience in visual design, UI design, a digital-focused role within a brand team, or a related discipline, with a portfolio demonstrating strong craft, modern taste, and attention to detail.
Experience taking product experiences from wireframes to polished, production-ready UI. You understand how visual design supports usability, hierarchy, trust, product goals, and measurable outcomes, not just aesthetics.
Strong UI and digital design fundamentals across product, responsive web, and mobile experiences. Mobile-first experience is essential.
Exceptional visual craft across typography, color, composition, layout, interaction, and detail. You have a clear point of view, make thoughtful design decisions, and care about the polish that separates good from great.
Experience creating or contributing to scalable design systems. You understand tokens, components, patterns, and how to create a coherent visual language across a product.
Comfortable working at the intersection of brand and product. You can translate brand direction into product experiences that meet user and business needs while leaving room for distinctive product expression.
AI-forward in your practice. You actively use generative tools for ideation, exploration, prototyping, and production, and are excited to experiment with new workflows. You use AI with strong creative judgment, refining outputs rather than relying on unedited generated assets, and look for ways to make visual work more scalable.
A clear, collaborative communicator who can articulate design rationale and work effectively with product designers, engineers, product managers, and Brand Design.
Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, with the ability to communicate interaction and motion intent through high-fidelity prototypes.
Experience creating light animation is a strong plus. Experience with 3D software or a genuine willingness to learn is also highly valued.
What Sets You Apart
Experience designing for fintech, crypto, or trading platforms — you understand the visual language of trust, precision, and data density.
Strong visual. illustration and interaction idea skills — you can create original visual assets, not just compose them.
An exceptional eye for layout, composition, and hierarchy. You can turn ideas into clear, high-quality visual solutions quickly and decisively.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed with a high bar for craft and attention to detail.
Experience working with globally distributed teams across offices and time zones.
Familiarity with how visual design integrates with front-end implementation. You understand CSS, design tokens, and component architecture well enough to collaborate effectively with engineers.

We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:

And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.

You’ll join Oyster as a Senior AI Solutions Engineer, reporting to the AI Director and partnering closely with functional leadership across Oyster.
Your mandate goes beyond automating individual tasks. You’ll help make Oyster’s business functions AI native, initially across areas such as People & Legal, Finance, and Operations. This means rethinking how people work with AI, where agents can take on operational work, and where human judgement creates the most value to build a more effective AI enabled organization.
You’ll be part of a connected group of Senior AI Solutions Engineers transforming different departments across Oyster. Together, you’ll establish shared standards, reuse successful approaches, and ensure Oyster’s AI transformation is coordinated rather than siloed.
This is a senior, hands on role. You’ll independently identify high value opportunities, decide where AI should and should not be used, and lead complex solutions from discovery through adoption and measurable business impact.
Successful candidates will be aligned to the business function where their experience, strengths, and interests can create the greatest impact, with the flexibility to support different functions as Oyster’s transformation priorities evolve.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Make business functions AI native
Reimagine how teams work with AI. Move teams from manually operating tools and workflows toward humans orchestrating AI powered ways of working, with human judgement where it matters.

Partner with functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and frame high impact transformation opportunities.
Lead solutions from start to finish
Own complex initiatives from an ambiguous problem through design, build, deployment, adoption, and improvement.

Drive AI adoption and self sufficiency
Partner with functional leaders, managers, and champions to embed AI into everyday work. Help teams move beyond consuming AI outputs toward confidently creating reusable prompts, workflows, and AI powered ways of working.
Own solutions beyond launch
Measure adoption, quality, reliability, and business impact after release. Continuously improve solutions based on real usage and outcomes rather than treating launch as completion.
Connect the organization and raise capability
Build trust with functional leadership, share reusable patterns with AI Solutions Engineers supporting other departments, mentor colleagues, and help teams develop the skills and confidence to operate effectively in an AI enabled environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of hands on AI and automation experience, supported by broader experience delivering complex solutions in business operations, functional transformation, Solutions Engineering, systems integration, or a related field.
- A track record of redesigning workflows or operating models, rather than only automating isolated tasks.

- Strong automation capability using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or comparable orchestration technologies.
- Strong hands on experience designing, building, deploying, and improving production AI agents and agentic workflows using LLMs, APIs, tools, and enterprise data.

- Ability to influence functional leaders, challenge assumptions constructively, and align technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- A track record of mentoring others, sharing expertise, and raising standards across a team.
BONUS EXPERIENCE
- Experience with enterprise systems and platforms used across functions such as People, Legal, Finance, or Operations.
