ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE MISSION
You will work every day on the racks that power one of Sweden's largest AI clusters.
Mistral's compute footprint is our single largest investment and the foundation of our AI research and engineering. We're hiring Data Center Hardware Engineers to keep our clusters healthy, safe and growing — hands-on, in the data center at the intersection of high-performance computing and physical infrastructure.
You'll join a small, senior team working at a scale few engineers get to experience: GPU-dense racks (next-generation platforms), high-speed interconnects, liquid-cooled systems — with new sites under development in France and beyond.
Hardware here is not someone else's problem. As part of a small on-site team, you carry responsibility for it end to end.
Location: On-site at our data center in Dalarna region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose & repair server and cluster hardware: CPUs, memory, drives, NICs, GPUs, PSUs and interconnect problems (switches, cables, transceivers; Ethernet/InfiniBand).
- Intervene safely — power-off/lockout, ESD discipline, pre/post-work checklists, tidy and safe work areas.
- Capture everything — photos, serials, test results; open, update and close tickets with notes the next engineer can act on.
- Manage parts — receive, label and track inventory; run RMAs and coordinate with vendors.
- Help us get better — feed recurring anomalies into monitoring, alerts and SOPs; contribute small scripts (Python/Bash) if you have those skills.
- Be a good teammate — clear status updates, honest handovers and respect for the people around you.
ABOUT YOU
- Hands-on comfort in data centers or server hardware — you can (or will quickly learn to) work cleanly in racks: rails, cabling, labeling, mounting.
- Disciplined and meticulous: checklists aren't bureaucracy to you, they're craftsmanship.
- Practical electrical basics: power-off procedures, PPE, short-circuit risk awareness.
- Basic Linux (boot checks, logs) — scripting is a plus, not a requirement.
- Physically able to work in racks (lift, mount, maneuver) in a data center environment.
- Comfortable in a 24/7 operation, including a rotating on-call with emergency response expectations.
- Driver's licence (B) for travel between our sites.
Even if you don't match every criterion
Many of our best hardware engineers came from research labs, telecoms, IT services or the military. If you are rigorous, curious and genuinely motivated by hardware at scale, we would be glad to hear from you — we assess demonstrated scope rather than keyword matching.
NICE TO HAVE
- HPC/AI/cloud production experience at scale; large-fleet server install and maintenance.
- Networking fundamentals (Ethernet/InfiniBand) beyond basics.
- Vendor/RMA tooling, ticketing (Jira/ServiceNow), inventory systems.
- Python/Bash automation for checks, capture, inventory or reporting.

Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value.
Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the Security Observability & Data Platform (tens of TB/month and growing). This covers ingestion, normalization and retention, plus the query and detection layer on top. Detections are code: tested, reviewed, and measured for precision.
- Own endpoint security across the fleet: deploy, tune and respond with EDR; run and configure binary authorization; and set hardening baselines with IT Operations.
- Lead threat hunting, internal investigations and insider-threat work. Handle security incidents end to end: triage, containment, forensics, root cause, and the control that prevents a repeat.
- Build the next generation of security services and run them in production: zero-trust AuthN/AuthZ, a uniform blocking service, an application proxy, asset inventory, developer portal, and compliance as code.
- Build and run the agent platform (local and Kubernetes). Use LLM agents to automate triage, enrichment, investigation and response, with deterministic checks wherever a model's answer isn't enough.
- Review infrastructure and cloud designs (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, bare metal, CI runners) for security, and help engineering teams adopt the shared services instead of building their own.
- Run red-team and adversary-emulation exercises, and turn the results into detections and fixes.
- Write runbooks and post-mortems that someone who wasn't in the room can follow at 3 a.m.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in security engineering, detection and response, or infrastructure/SRE with a security focus, including hands-on incident response on endpoints and in the cloud.
- Experience operating an EDR, writing and tuning detections. Knowledge of macOS and Linux internals as attackers use them: persistence, credential theft, process injection, living-off-the-land binaries.
- Experience building or operating telemetry pipelines and a SIEM or security data lake at TB scale. Strong SQL, including detection logic over large datasets.
- Hands-on production engineering: Linux, containers, Kubernetes, at least one major public cloud, infrastructure as code, monitoring and alerting.
- Proficiency in Python or Go, and comfort with Rust or willingness to work in it (most of Mysten's stack are Rust).
- Working knowledge of identity: SSO (OIDC/SAML), phishing-resistant MFA, device trust, and how session and token theft work.
- Strong written communication: can run an incident channel and write the post-mortem.
- Interest in the web3 space is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building zero-trust access, identity-aware proxies or policy engines.
- Binary authorization or allowlisting at fleet scale
- Familiarity with the threat actors that target crypto companies and their methods, from social engineering and fake campaigns to supply chain compromises.
- Digital forensics (memory, disk, macOS unified logs) and malware analysis.
- Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work.
- Compliance as code (CIS benchmarks); experience in ISO 27001 or SOC 2 environments.
- Publications, conference talks or open-source security tooling.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

To support an efficient and fair hiring process, we may use technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to help identify and evaluate candidates. All hiring decisions are ultimately made by human reviewers.
Our team is remote first and we are hiring across the world. Here at Mysten Labs, you’ll be joining a world-class team with tremendous growth potential as we bring the next billion users to web3. We raised a $300M Series B round from top Silicon Valley led venture funds like Jump Crypto, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Binance Labs, Redpoint, Lightspeed, Coinbase Ventures, Electric Capital, Standard Crypto, NFX, Slow Ventures, Scribble Ventures, Samsung Next, Lux Capital, among other investment firms and strategic partners. - Identify systemic trends across sites and share lessons learned with engineering design, commissioning and regional operations teams.
- Support emergency response planning and tabletop exercises covering loss of utility, cooling failures, liquid leaks, fire/life-safety events and critical equipment failures.
Capacity delivery, commissioning and change control
- Participate in design and constructability reviews for expansions, retrofits and new AI deployments; flag operational, maintainability and resilience concerns early.
- Review commissioning and integrated systems testing plans, including power transfers, redundancy scenarios, controls failure modes, cooling recovery and operational readiness criteria.
- Challenge test results and acceptance evidence against defined electrical, thermal and operational requirements; track unresolved technical issues through handover.
- Partner with IT Operations on rack power and thermal limits, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, coolant distribution unit boundaries, leak response and load-restoration dependencies.
- Assess proposed changes to critical infrastructure, including concurrent maintenance, controls updates and brownfield works; recommend safeguards and escalation where exposure is unacceptable.
- Provide technical coaching to internal stakeholders, contribute to engineering standards and support recruitment and knowledge sharing as the portfolio expands.
Success measures
- Critical technical risks are identified early, prioritized and reduced through verified mitigation actions, supporting Mistral’s availability objectives.
- High-risk maintenance and infrastructure changes receive timely, evidence-based technical review with clear mitigations and escalation.
- Major incidents are diagnosed accurately, communicated effectively and followed by robust root-cause analysis and verified corrective actions.

- Repeat failures, unresolved high-severity defects and preventable technical deviations decrease over time.
Minimum qualifications
- 5–7+ years in critical facilities engineering, commissioning, data center operations or technical assurance in high-availability environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of critical electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, MV/LV distribution, switchgear and protection) and mechanical systems (cooling plant, pumps, controls and heat rejection).
- Ability to review single-line diagrams, operating sequences, technical procedures, maintenance plans, commissioning evidence and root-cause analyses.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents and influencing external technical teams without direct line authority.
- Clear written and verbal English communication, sound judgment under pressure and willingness to travel and participate in incident escalation as needed.
Preferred experience
- Full technical governance, multi-site operations or mission-critical facilities serving high-density AI/HPC workloads.
- Experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDUs, facility/technology cooling interfaces, water quality, leak detection and rack-level thermal management.
- Integrated systems testing, EPMS/BMS trend analysis, protection coordination, failure-mode reviews and cross-site engineering standardization.
- Experience partnering with hardware OEMs, design engineers, commissioning teams and infrastructure providers during live-site expansion.

- Own the sales process from customer discovery and qualification through pilots, negotiation, and commercial agreements.
- Work directly with prospective customers to understand their workflows, business priorities, and requirements for deploying AI agents.
- Partner with product and engineering to translate customer needs into product requirements, demonstrations, and commercially compelling offerings.
- Help define positioning, packaging, pricing, and pilot structures, testing assumptions through customer conversations and actual deals.
- Build a repeatable approach to moving customers from early experimentation into production and broader adoption.
- Establish pipeline discipline, communicate market feedback, and help the team prioritize opportunities with the strongest commercial potential.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, with a track record of closing complex agreements and building trusted executive relationships.
- Meaningful startup experience, including building a new sales motion, launching an offering, or winning early enterprise customers.
- An established network of buyers in enterprise commerce, retail, services, or regulated industries.
- Experience selling technical products and translating emerging technology into clear business value.
- Direct involvement in shaping product positioning, packaging, pricing, or GTM strategy alongside product and engineering teams.
- Strong customer discovery skills and the judgment to distinguish a repeatable market opportunity from a one-off request.
- A hands-on approach: you’re comfortable prospecting, running discovery, developing proposals, and closing deals yourself.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and a product that will evolve through customer engagement.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling AI agents, commerce platforms, payments, trust and security products, or enterprise workflow software.
- Familiarity with customer journeys such as shopping, returns and refunds, reservations, ticketing, or insurance servicing.

Mysten Labs is looking for a hands-on Security Engineer with strong application security fundamentals and a track record of finding and fixing real vulnerabilities. You’ll own bug bounty programs and external audits, secure our code and software supply chain, and build tooling that protects Mysten’s products and users across the Sui ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Run Mysten's bug bounty programs: triage, severity, responses, internal escalations, fix validation, and the budget and payouts. Turn recurring report classes into automated checks.
- Own audit engagements: scope and schedule external audits, act as the technical counterpart during the engagement, and track findings through remediation and fix validation.
- Conduct code and design reviews of systems built by Mysten, its subsidiaries and partners (Rust, TypeScript, Move). Drive issues to conclusion, including investigation and incident response, and run variant analysis so each bug class is closed everywhere it occurs.
- Own software supply chain security: dependency and CI/CD malware defenses, Endor Labs, the code security service (GitHub controls, merge bots), and the ongoing code security self-auditing service. Detect and respond to compromised packages, maintainers and build pipelines, and secure the provenance and signing of what Mysten ships.
- Build and improve anti-scam and anti-abuse tooling for the Sui ecosystem: detect phishing sites, malicious dApps, drainer contracts and other threats that target Sui users, and work with wallet teams on mitigations.
- Build security tooling: LLM-driven triage and review agents, and static and dynamic analysis (taint, call graphs, fuzzing) wired into CI and code review. Build in known-clean checks so people trust the results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, application security or product security, with a track record of finding real vulnerabilities (bug bounty reports, audit findings, CVEs or published research).
- Strong Web2 security fundamentals: XSS, CSRF, SSRF, authorization flaws, injection, deserialization, software supply chain failures, cryptographic failures.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, TypeScript, Python or Move, and experience reviewing and writing security-sensitive code.
- Hands-on knowledge of software supply chain attack surface: package ecosystems (npm, crates.io http://crates.io, PyPI), CI/CD (GitHub Actions workflow injection, token exposure, unpinned actions), and build provenance.
- Solid understanding of applied cryptography fundamentals and the common ways cryptographic systems are misused in practice.
- Experience on either side of a bug bounty program or an audit engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence teams you have no formal authority over.
- Interest in the web3 space is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Smart contract or wallet security: Move, Solidity or Rust-based chains; Sui's object and capability model is a plus.
- Static or dynamic program analysis: CodeQL, Semgrep, taint analysis, fuzzing, symbolic execution.
- Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work.
- Anti-phishing, anti-fraud or trust & safety experience: domain and content monitoring, crawling, classifiers, threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of recent crypto incidents and the defect classes behind them: drainer kits, DeFi frontend compromises, package-registry compromises.
- Notable bug bounty rankings, CVEs, publications or conference talks.

ABOUT MYSTEN LABS
Through Sui and our financial products, we’re building infrastructure and experiences for trading, liquidity, and asset management. Alongside that work, we’re developing the infrastructure and products AI agents need to operate reliably, handle sensitive information, and interact under clear rules.
As agents take on more responsibility, they need more than intelligence. They need persistent context, trusted access to information, and clear boundaries around what they can do. Mysten brings together capabilities across storage, memory, privacy, and policy-controlled interactions to help make that future possible.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Product Lead to turn our emerging agentic technologies into products customers can understand, adopt, and buy.
Your role is to translate our product capabilities into useful experiences and commercially viable offerings—for example, a commerce-focused product that helps retailers manage agent-driven shopping, returns, or refunds.
Working closely with our CTO, Sales Lead, and engineering, you’ll identify customer problems, rapidly prototype solutions, and help bring the strongest opportunities to market. You’ll connect customer discovery, product definition, experience design, and commercialization, staying close to the work from the first concept through launch.
Joining this team means helping define a new product category, its customer experience, and the business around it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how businesses participate in the agent economy and bring that vision to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and prioritize customer problems our other agentic products are well positioned to solve.
- Lead customer discovery alongside our CTO, developing a clear understanding of buyer needs, user workflows, and adoption barriers.
- Rapidly create prototypes, interactive demonstrations, and product variants using AI-assisted design and coding tools.
- Test concepts with customers and use their feedback to refine the experience, scope, and value proposition.
- Define product requirements and work with engineering to turn validated prototypes into reliable, production-ready offerings.
- Shape packaging, pricing hypotheses, positioning, and GTM strategy in partnership with sales and the broader team.
- Design experiences that make agent capabilities, permissions, policies, and human oversight understandable to users.
- Balance customer-specific needs with opportunities to build reusable capabilities and repeatable products.
- Define success measures across customer value, adoption, conversion, and revenue, using results to guide iteration.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of Product Management, Product Design, or related experience
- A track record of taking new products from an ambiguous opportunity through customer validation, launch, and commercial adoption.
- Startup or similarly entrepreneurial experience, with direct ownership of building and shipping under uncertainty.
- Strong prototyping skills and hands-on experience using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools to build and iterate on functional experiences.
- Experience working directly with customers to define products, validate demand, and support pilots or sales conversations.
- Commercial judgment, including experience contributing to packaging, pricing, positioning, or GTM decisions.
- Strong UX instincts and the ability to make complex technology approachable without obscuring important controls or constraints.
- Enough technical fluency to collaborate with engineering on integrations, feasibility, and the path from prototype to production.
- A hands-on working style and the ability to influence across product, design, engineering, and sales.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with customer-facing AI, enterprise commerce, payments, trust and security, or workflow products.
- Experience with agent permissions, approval flows, auditability, or other mechanisms that help businesses control automated actions.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.
