Location: Remote About the Team Netlify is a product-led growth company with an unusually large organic top-of-funnel, where tens of thousands of people discover and sign up for Netlify every day. That organic motion is real and meaningful, but paid acquisition is a new investment area for the marketing team, and there's a clear opportunity to build that capability from the ground up. As Senior Manager, Demand Generation & Performance Marketing, you'll own paid acquisition end to end - strategy, channel selection, budget, and the agency relationship that supports execution. You'll report to the CMO, with a planned transition to the VP of Growth Marketing as that function scales, and work closely with Marketing Operations, Data, Lifecycle, and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users don't just land, but convert and stick. This is a builder role at a company where the organic foundation is already strong, and your job is to build the paid layer that extends its reach. What You'll Do Build and own Netlify's paid acquisition strategy end to end, including paid search, paid social, retargeting, sponsorships, and any other channels worth testing and proving out. Own the call on where paid creates incremental value for Netlify. Design the tests, prove which channels and audiences drive growth our organic funnel wouldn't have delivered anyway, and decide where to scale, where to hold, and where not to spend at all. Manage the agency relationship(s) supporting paid/performance work by setting the brief, holding the agency accountable to targets, and deciding what to bring in-house as the function matures. Own budget planning, pacing, and ROI reporting for all paid spend, and make the case for where to double down or pull back. Partner with Marketing Operations to get attribution and UTM tracking right before scaling spend, so every dollar is measurable. Define target audiences and channel mix aligned to Netlify's ICP; partner with Product Marketing on messaging inputs for paid creative. Build the measurement framework for CAC, signup/pipeline contribution, and payback by channel. Partner with Lifecycle and Campaigns to make sure paid-acquired users flow into the right onboarding and activation journeys, not just land and drop off. As the program proves out, build the roadmap and case for a fully staffed paid/performance team. What You'll Bring 6+ years in demand generation or performance marketing, with direct ownership of a paid acquisition budget in a B2B SaaS or product-led growth environment Hands-on experience running paid search, paid social, and retargeting programs yourself - not just briefing agencies or reviewing their reports A track record of standing up or significantly scaling a paid acquisition program at an early stage, where you had to build the infrastructure and not just optimize what was already there Experience managing an external agency or partner relationship, including setting performance expectations and holding partners accountable to them Working knowledge of attribution and marketing measurement, and a history of partnering with Marketing Ops or Data teams to get tracking right before spend scales Some experience marketing to developers or technical audiences, or with a PLG motion where paid acquisition runs alongside a large organic and self-serve funnel This Role Is a Great Fit If You're energized by building and scaling a new paid program, not just optimizing one that's already mature. You think like an owner of budget and outcomes, not just a briefs-and-reports manager of an agency. You're comfortable moving between strategy (channel mix, targeting, budget allocation) and getting into the details yourself when it matters. You care about attribution being right before spend scales, not as an afterthought. You want to build in close partnership with Lifecycle, Campaigns, and Marketing Ops rather than run paid as a separate lane that hands off a spreadsheet at the end of the quarter Applying Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? Please apply anyway! When applying please include: A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts. Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Driving equality empowers our team, enables us to innovate, and helps us maintain a more inclusive environment. We don’t discriminate against employees or applicants based on gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, race, military/veteran status, citizenship, pregnancy status, or any other differences. If we can do anything to provide a better interview, i.e. accommodate a disability, then please let us know by emailing accommodations@netlify.com . About Netlify Netlify is the most popular way to build, deploy, and scale modern web applications, empowering everyone from fast moving solo developers to enterprise teams. Millions of developers and organizations rely on Netlify as their platform of choice for composing web applications that are production ready, performant, and flexible. We are a Series D company that has raised over $200M from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, EQT, Bessemer, BOND, and Menlo Ventures. As a fully distributed company, we aim to create a company culture where the best idea can come from anywhere and strive to be thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative in our work. If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’re excited to connect with you! At Netlify, we are committed to a compensation philosophy that prioritizes fairness and equity, positions our employee compensation competitively in the market, recognizes and rewards performance, and takes a comprehensive approach to our rewards package. We anchor our compensation philosophy on a market-based approach, therefore salary ranges may differ depending on the labor cost in a particular location. The salary provided is in addition to robust benefits and participation in Netlify’s equity plan. Our hiring range for this role is targeted at $150,000 - $200,000 for most US-based locations. Candidates outside the US or in premium markets should consult with their Talent Acquisition partner regarding location-based ranges, as they may be higher or lower than the average US range listed. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Location: Remote About GiveDirectly What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need? Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid. Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question: is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty? We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join. We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress. How we work Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated: Recipients first. Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves. Team next. We optimize for organizational success, not individual success. Be proactively candid. We say what we believe and share information openly. Create positive energy. We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain. Think rigorously; act quickly. We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate. Know yourself and grow. We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow. Accept reality. Propose solutions. We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems. Be productively ambitious. We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress. If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit. Want to learn more? Read and listen: We are one of Time100’s Most Influential Companies of 2026, and our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take. Location: This role is fully remote but must overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. About this role Individual Giving has set an objective to double new donor acquisition in 2027 and expand our awareness through brand ads for key segments. Paid media is the biggest lever we have to get there, and as Growth Manager, Paid Media, you'll own delivery of this important priority. To help get us there, GiveDirectly is planning to expand its spend on paid media. We are looking for someone who will be a strong cultural fit—curious, keen not to follow industry standards but to look for disproportionately high-leverage opportunities, keen to constantly learn and adjust, and comfortable launching a paid program without agency support. This role would suit someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to pivot and change tactics based on data and changing circumstances. Reporting to our Director of Individual Giving, you’ll manage all paid acquisition for Individual Giving across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok, and also work closely with the VP of Marketing to manage all upper-funnel media buys (e.g., newsletters, podcasts, etc.) for both the Individual Giving and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for executing our paid media program end to end, including negotiating and managing contracts, creating ads, capturing screenshots for documentation, publishing campaigns, and monitoring performance. You will also build our tracking and attribution systems and use that data to grow both one-time and monthly giving. To do so, we are looking for a strong individual contributor who is comfortable executing within the platforms without a big team or agency. The Individual Giving team is responsible for generating revenue across donors with an annual gift below $50k. To do so, the Individual Giving team executes compelling public fundraising campaigns, drives creative donor-facing content, and tests new marketing initiatives aimed at expanding our donor base and raising awareness of direct cash transfers. You’ll join a small but high-performing team that runs several campaigns at once and works with a lot of independence. You’ll partner with Brand and Marketing colleagues each campaign cycle to ensure integrated marketing across all public-facing materials. Level: Manager (we are willing to hire at Senior Manager for more experienced candidates) Reports To: Director of Individual Giving Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel ~1–2 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits What you’ll bring: 3–5+ years in growth or performance marketing with a proven track record running paid media to a conversion or revenue target, in-house or agency, across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Non-profit experience is a plus, but not required. Experience managing a paid media budget of at least US$5M a year with a track record of strong performance measurement, with the discipline to trust your own data over platform recommendations and the judgment to know when to scale a channel, cut it, or admit it isn't working—pause and reset. A genuine test-and-learn habit: you design multivariable testing across creative, audience, messaging, and landing pages, using these insights to scale the program. Strong written communication, the ability to own creative direction of ads (from conception and drafting through launch), and experience with or a strong eye for graphic design (Figma, Canva). You’ll work with content creation teams for bigger projects, but initial ideation and direction should come from you. Strong, succinct communication, and the ability to work productively with a Brand and Marketing team focused on brand awareness. Alignment with GiveDirectly’s values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. Experience with tracking and attribution to ensure detailed reports are shared with senior management. Bonus skills: Experience with our tech stack (WordPress, Salesforce, PostHog, Google Analytics, Tableau, Zendesk, Ahrefs) or similar tools. Experience with paid ads with a non-profit of a similar size or an agency supporting non-profits. What you’ll do Own paid media strategy and performance to execute growth and brand goals Develop and execute the paid digital fundraising strategy that acquires new donors, grows revenue, and strengthens long-term supporter value across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, and emerging platforms (approx. 50% of time). Run top-of-funnel brand ads, from placement and contracting to creative direction and development, including podcasts, OOH, and connected TV (approx. 30% of time). Manage and optimize paid investment daily, monitoring spend, pacing, cost per acquisition, and conversion, and reallocating budget as performance dictates. Run a continuous test-and-learn program across audiences, creative messaging, channels, landing pages, and donation experiences, and turn results into decisions rather than reports. Make key and strategic recommendations to the Director of Individual Giving and VP of Marketing on where budget spend should be allocated based on performance data. Grow one-time and monthly giving through paid Run acquisition and conversion campaigns for both one-time and monthly giving, testing paid tactics to grow the recurring program—the fastest-growing part of our portfolio. Optimize the digital supporter journey so paid campaigns connect cleanly to landing pages, donation forms, email, and CRM, maximizing conversion and retention. Analyze acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention trends by segment to inform where the next dollar goes. Measurement & Reporting Stand up standardized paid-channel attribution and UTM tracking so acquisition spend is evaluable outside the ad platforms. Build and maintain performance dashboards that connect campaign, website, and CRM data into a single view of what each channel returns. Develop a forecasting model that projects cost per acquisition and revenue by channel, so budget increases are decisions rather than bets. Report to senior management on budget and paid campaign performance on a bi-weekly basis. This role might not be for you if You are used to relying on an agency for recommendations or ad builds in the platforms themselves. You do not have experience/familiarity with both upper-funnel and direct conversion paid advertising. You are not comfortable managing projects from A–Z, including ideation, planning, launching, testing, iterating, and evaluating. What success looks like in 12–18 months A clear, measurable contribution to the 2027 goal of doubling new donor acquisition, with a 50–70% share of new monthly donors acquired through paid. The Google Ad Grant is fully deployed against upper-funnel objectives, in compliance, and contributing measurable qualified traffic. A documented acquisition model forecasts cost per acquisition and revenue by channel accurately enough to justify a materially larger paid budget. Compensation At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third-party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no-negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy here . This role is fully remote, so if you are not based in Kenya, the US, or the UK, we will share an estimated salary benchmark for the country you are based in during the hiring process. Location: Seattle, WA Workplace: Remote ABOUT DOCKER Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout. We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default. _______________________________________________________________________ We're building AI-native development practices into how this team works at a foundational level. That means infrastructure design needs to account for a new kind of collaborator: AI agents that generate, deploy, and operate software. The Staff Infrastructure Engineer on this team will keep systems running, define what safe, observable, AI-assisted infrastructure operations look like in practice, and set the standard for how the broader engineering organization follows. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON The Billing Platform Engineering team owns the systems that make Docker's commercial model real. You'll work on problems like: - How do we design infrastructure that makes AI-generated deployments safe to ship and easy to roll back? - How do we instrument billing systems so that failures — billing miscalculations, entitlement gaps, payment errors — are detected immediately and unambiguously? - How do we build infrastructure that scales with usage-based billing workloads without manual intervention? - How do we make the developer experience on this team faster and more reliable — local environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling? RESPONSIBILITIES - Own and evolve the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services: compute, storage, networking, CI/CD, and observability - Design and maintain IaC (Terraform) for billing system infrastructure on AWS; set module patterns and standards for the team - Build and own observability systems — metrics, logging, alerting — with a focus on billing accuracy and payment reliability - Define deployment patterns and runbooks that work well in an AI-agent-assisted development workflow: clear rollback procedures, safe promotion gates, automated validation - Partner with software engineers on service design — bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation before code is written - Identify systemic risks and drive improvements that span team or organizational boundaries - Lead incident response for billing system issues. This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. - Mentor engineers across the team; your technical judgment should raise the floor for everyone QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems at scale - Deep AWS expertise: ECS or EKS, RDS (Postgres preferred), networking, IAM, cost management — you've operated these systems under real load and real incidents - Expert-level Terraform; you've designed reusable module patterns and set standards others follow - Experience building and owning observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, or similar) at an organizational level — not just using them - Strong familiarity with CI/CD systems — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent — including pipeline design and developer experience ownership - Kubernetes at an operational and architectural level - A track record of identifying systemic risks and driving improvements that span team or organizational boundaries - Security-first mindset: threat modeling, blast radius analysis, least-privilege by default, audit trails as a design requirement - Strong written English; at Staff level, written communication is how you scale your influence across teams - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience WHAT SETS YOU APART You don't wait for problems to be handed to you — you find them, frame them, and drive the solution. You've operated at a scope where your decisions affected multiple teams or systems, and you know how to build consensus and move work forward without direct authority. You've thought seriously about what infrastructure needs to look like when AI agents are generating and shipping code — safe deployment patterns, strong observability, clean rollback — and you want to help define that standard here. Experience with billing, payments, or financial systems infrastructure is a meaningful plus. WHAT TO EXPECT FIRST 30 DAYS You will ship code in your first week. We run an agent-first development workflow — infrastructure changes start with a plan, specifications are written before generation, and every change is reviewed before it merges — and onboarding is no exception. You will get hands-on with the infrastructure supporting Billing Platform services early, shadow on-call, and build a clear picture of the system before you start making bigger changes. By the end of 30 days you will have shipped real work and know where the most important problems are. FIRST 90 DAYS You will have taken ownership of one or more infrastructure components and delivered an improvement from design to production with measurable impact. You will be an active participant in deployment and reliability discussions, bringing infrastructure constraints and operational requirements into the conversation early — before code is written. You will be a full participant in the on-call rotation and have begun shaping the team's technical direction. ONE YEAR OUTLOOK You will be the team's trusted authority on billing infrastructure. You will have driven meaningful improvements to observability, deployment safety, or platform reliability — and your work will be directly visible in the resilience and correctness of systems that handle real financial transactions for millions of Docker users. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. As Director, Analytics Engineering, you’ll lead the roadmap, architecture, and team responsible for the trusted data foundations that power 1Password’s business. You’ll shape how data is modeled, tested, documented, governed, and made available to teams across Marketing, Finance, Product, Analytics, and Data Engineering, while staying close to the technical work when it matters. By building reliable data foundations for Artificial Intelligence (AI), you’ll help advance 1Password’s mission to create a safer, simpler digital future. Reporting to the VP, Data Analytics, this role is remote within the United States and Canada. How we’re using AI today On the Finance team, we’re using AI to drive productivity, scale insight, and deliver better decision-making across 1Password. AI helps us move faster and sharpen our thinking, from summarizing context and pressure-testing assumptions to turning complex inputs into clear executive-level narratives. We bring AI into our work thoughtfully, improving repeatable workflows while staying accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and controls behind every output, creating space to focus on judgement, strategic partnership, and meaningful business outcomes. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: • Significant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, including experience leading and developing teams. • Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) and dbt experience, including advanced data modeling, incremental processing, testing, documentation, and multi-environment deployment. • Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, such as Kimball or star schema approaches, applied in complex Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) environments. • Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift, including decisions related to performance, cost, and scale. • Experience establishing semantic layer strategies and trusted metric definitions across an organization. • Ability to translate complex business priorities into a clear data platform roadmap and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, and AI-assisted analytics engineering workflows. What you can expect: • Own the vision, roadmap, and execution for 1Password’s analytics engineering function, including core data models, semantic layers, Business Intelligence (BI) tooling, and pipeline infrastructure. • Hire, manage, and develop analytics engineers while establishing clear career ladders, leveling expectations, and performance practices. • Set standards for data modeling, testing, documentation, code review, deployment, and data quality. • Stay close to the technical work by reviewing complex dbt models, optimizing SQL, and helping troubleshoot high-priority pipeline issues. • Serve as a senior technical partner on data modeling and metric governance, ensuring definitions are consistent, trusted, and well documented. • Partner with leaders across Data Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Go To Market (GTM) teams to turn business needs into a prioritized roadmap. • Build governed, reliable data foundations that support company-wide decision-making, AI initiatives, and Generative BI experiences. USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $204,000 USD and $306,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $200,000 CAD and $300,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. About this role GiveDirectly is looking for an experienced investigator who can establish a function, not just run cases. Concerns and allegations reach us from every program and every country we work in. Each one needs to be triaged and assessed objectively, and to end in appropriate findings and recommendations. You will manage the newly created Central Intake and Investigations Hub. It is a standalone, independent function that works across the whole organisation. The Hub investigates a range of investigations itself, and supports colleagues elsewhere who handle the rest. You will lead the team and take the most complex investigations yourself. The bigger initial task is to establish the Hub across the organisation. How it works has been designed and agreed. What it does not yet have is standing. People need to know it exists, bring things to it early, and trust what it concludes. This matters now because GiveDirectly is growing fast. Delivery volume and headcount are both rising, and the way staff concerns are handled needs to grow with them. Reports to: Director of Safeguarding and Investigations Manages: Future roles including a Program Manager, Investigations and Program Manager, Intake and Reporting to be recruited once the Senior Manager role has been filled. Level: Senior Manager Location: Remote, with a requirement to overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours, and meaningful overlap with US Eastern hours. We can only employ people in certain places at the moment, so it's worth checking our current list of eligible countries to see if yours is included. If you're based elsewhere, it's not an automatic no, but do flag it early with your recruiter. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. Travel: Occasional. Team meetings and co-locations, plus travel to a country of operation where an investigation requires it. This is not frequent, but it is not predictable either. What you'll do Establish a Central Intake and Investigations Hub across the organisation: Take an agreed design and make it something people use. Build the relationships with the People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding, HR Managers and Country Directors to ensure concerns are managed effectively. Refine how intake, triage and allocation work in practice as you learn what holds up. Lead the most complex investigations yourself. Establish the facts, produce the findings report and make recommendations. Set the investigation standard and hold other people to it: Define what a good investigation looks like at GiveDirectly. Provide oversight and support where Internal Audit or Safeguarding lead a staff related matter, and quality assure what comes out of it. Decide what training the organisation needs and set its direction. Own the record and what it tells the organisation: Create and hold the system of record for staff matters. Make sure findings and documentation are captured centrally, whoever led the case. Run regular reporting and calibration with the People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding, Country Directors and ExCo. Sign off on relevant internal and external reporting. Make the function work at scale through the responsible use of technology and data: Shape the design of the case management system and its controls, so that staff investigation records sit only where they should. Find the practical places where automation and AI reduce manual work in triage, documentation and reporting. Build the hub so that growth in concern volume does not simply mean a bigger team. Set up and lead the team: Recruit for, manage and develop a Program Manager, Investigations and the Program Manager, Intake and Reporting. Set their priorities, review their work and build their capability. What success looks like in 12 to 18 months Concerns reach the hub as a matter of course, from every country and function. People come to the hub early and while a matter is still manageable, because they have found it useful rather than because they were told to. Investigations are handled consistently, whoever leads them, and findings reports hold up when they are challenged. The hub is understood across the organisation as an independent central resource. Internal and External reporting tells its audience something they did not already know about patterns, themes and where risk is concentrating. The People team, Internal Audit, Safeguarding and country leadership treat the hub as a resource they rely on rather than a process they comply with. Additional hires for the hub are capable, developing, and the function runs day to day without you in the room. Why this role You build it. This is a new function with a mandate and a set of agreed boundaries. How it actually works is largely what you make it. Genuine independence. The hub is designed to be objective and to handle complex matters. Breadth. You will work across every function and every country GiveDirectly operates in. It matters. Getting this right protects staff and recipients, and protects the trust that lets GiveDirectly move a great deal of money to people who need it. What we are looking for: How you work matters as much as your investigation skills. Trusted by the people you also hold to account. You can tell someone that the handling of a matter was wrong, and still have a strong working relationship with them the following week. People Managers, Internal Audit, Safeguarding and country leadership should want to call you early rather than after things have gone wrong. You motivate and influence people who don't report to you. The Hub has no direct line management over Internal Audit, Safeguarding, the People team or country leadership, and it needs all of them to do the work well. You build the relationships and shape best practice. Impartial, and visibly so. People may try to influence you. You will be told the answer before you have found it. You hold to process and evidence without turning it into a fight, and you record what you could not establish as carefully as what you could. You build what isn't there yet. This function is being shaped by you. You are comfortable where the priorities are clear, but the road to them is not. You would rather design a solution rather than wait to be handed one. You work alongside people. Some of the investigative work is done by other teams, and your expertise is what lifts its quality. You get into the detail with colleagues, you are clear about what good looks like and what still needs doing, and you see it through with them. Steady with difficult material. You work with content of abuse and misconduct without losing sight of the people involved, and without carrying it in ways that wear you down. On experience, we are looking for: Exceptional alignment with GiveDirectly Values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem solving, project management, follow-through, and fostering inclusivity. 5-7 years of experience leading workplace (misconduct) investigations , including matters involving senior staff and allegations of sexual misconduct. You have run these end to end, from terms of reference to findings report. Experience in setting investigation standards and quality assuring other people's work , not only conducting investigations yourself. A working understanding of employee relations and of where an investigation ends and an employment decision begins. You have worked alongside other teams without blurring the lines of responsibility. Experience across multiple countries and legal contexts , including where local law shapes how we may investigate and how staff must be treated. Trauma-informed and survivor-centred practice in how you plan interviews, handle disclosures and support the people involved. Has made technology work for investigative teams. You have set up or improved investigative system, built reporting from case data, or introduced tools that changed how a team worked. You have used AI in professional work and can say where it helped, where it did not, and how you handled confidentiality. Language Requirement: Professional fluency in English, plus professional working proficiency in one of French, Swahili or Portuguese. Investigative interviews are often confidential and conducted in these languages. Why work at GiveDirectly? At GiveDirectly, we work to ensure that you have everything you need to excel in your role and on your team, including: A positive and supportive team with opportunities for advancement A demonstrated commitment to helping all staff develop and grow A competitive salary, including bonus A robust health benefits plan (exact details will vary by country) Unlimited PTO (that we encourage staff to take!)
