HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ THE MISSION OF THE UNION RELATIONS LEAD
Unions and social partners play a central and legitimate role in how social protection is designed, negotiated and implemented in France. We're looking for a Union Relations Lead to build and animate Alan's relationships with unions, their federations, and the broader paritariste ecosystem, making Alan a trusted, substantive and well-known interlocutor of French social partners, and supporting our Enterprise & Public Sector teams across large private employers and public institutions.
⭐ WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GENUINELY UNIQUE
- You'll shape how one of Europe's fastest-growing health tech companies builds its relationships with the French social partner ecosystem (from confederations to sector federations to paritariste institutions).
- You'll operate at the highest levels of the paritariste ecosystem: confederal leadership, sector federations, IP boards, organisations patronales.
- You'll shape the strategy, not just execute it. Alan is at an early stage of building this capability (the playbook is yours to define)
- You'll work directly with Founders, Public Affair as well as Public Sector and Enterprise leadership.
- Real ownership from day one, in one of the fastest-growing tech unicorns in Europe.
⭐️ YOUR ROLE
Relationships & Presence
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with the organizations that represent employees and members across the sectors that matter to Alan (unions, federations, and the structures that convene them).
- Map the ecosystem, prioritize interlocutors, and design the engagement strategy at confederal, federal and branch level.
- Represent Alan in federations, working groups, congrès and paritariste institutions where our sector’s future is discussed.
- Be the credible consistent Alan voice social partners recognise
Partnership with Alan's Enterprise & Public Sector work
- Be a partner to our teams serving large private employers and public sector clients, briefing them on the social partners context and how Alan’s offer speaks to their priorities
- Introduce the right contacts at the right moment in the commercial cycle, turning Alan’s ecosystem relationships into concrete commercial leverage.
- Share Alan’s content with social partners to help them assess Alan on its merits and form their own view.
Sector Engagement & Anticipation
- Follow the dialogue at branch level and across the paritariste ecosystem and turn that understanding into internal clarity.
- Represent Alan in the federations and working groups where our sector's future is discussed, contributing a constructive and recognizable voice.
- Be a sharp, early internal voice on where social dialogue is heading and on the implications for Alan's strategy.
Build & Scale
- Knowledge base: Build and maintain a knowledge library on social partner positions, branch agreements, and paritariste institutions shared with Enterprise and Public Sector deal teams to increase win rates.
- Framework & tools: Implement processes and AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of our social partner engagement and documentation.
- Collaboration: Share best practices with the broader Enterprise & Public Sector team and contribute proven methodologies to their scaled commercial operations.
- Market intelligence: Provide competitive intelligence on how social partners and competitors position themselves in our key markets.
⭐ IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll be a great fit for the Union Relations Lead role at Alan if you:
- Have at least 8 years of total experience in social partner relations: in a union organization, a branch federation, a paritariste institution, or in an external affairs role at a mutelle, IP or insurer
- Have legitimate credibility at federation level: ability to engage federation leadership as a peer, built through a personal representative past or years of substantive engagement at federation level on employer side.
- Have deep knowledge of the paritariste ecosystem: branch agreements, confederal mandates, protection sociale reforms, and how institutions at each level function
- Have proven ability to build trust with social partners from the employer/state side
- Have outstanding stakeholder management: calm, long-game, trustworthy, discreet, able to represent Alan substantively without making it about yourself.
- Have ability to translate Alan’s product and strategy into compelling narratives for social partner audiences
- Demonstrable impact from prior social-partner work on an organization’s commercial and strategic outcomes
- Are a self-starter: comfortable building from scratch in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Are ego-free and lever-minded: you accelerate others, you don't seek the spotlight.
- Are based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris.
Nice to have:
- A confederal or federal elected / permanent past.
- Experience inside a paritariste institution
- Experience inside a sector federation on its social dialogue agenda.
- Legal background in droit social and comfort reading accords collectifs quickly.
- International exposure to the European social dialogue ecosystem.
- Prior experience with RFPs or tenders involving union-negotiated or paritariste schemes.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS A PLUS. WE CARE ABOUT HAVING A DIVERSITY OF EXPERIENCES, PROFILES AND BACKGROUNDS IN OUR TEAM.

About Teleport
Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it.
Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.
Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the COO, the VP of Finance will serve as the senior financial executive responsible for the full spectrum of corporate finance, including FP&A, accounting, strategic planning, board reporting, and IPO-readiness. You will manage a high-performing finance team, build the systems and processes that support a scaling infrastructure as a service business, and act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization.
This is a high-ownership role for a builder who is equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the details. A successful hire will be able to turn complex business data into clear strategic guidance and scale a lean finance function without losing rigor by leveraging the latest technology available.
There is not currently a CFO in place, so there is also potential room for growth into that role for high performers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the COO and CEO — bringing a financial lens to company-level decisions on market positioning, competitive strategy, pricing, geographic expansion, and capital allocation
- Co-own the company’s long-range strategic plan alongside executive leadership, shaping not just the financial expression of strategy but the strategy itself
- Identify the financial and operational levers that drive sustainable growth, and advocate for resource allocation decisions that reflect Teleport’s most important strategic bets
- Own the annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles, delivering accurate, driver-based financial models across revenue, cost, and headcount
- Lead scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to pressure-test strategic options and support key investment decisions
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for the COO, CEO, and Board of Directors by connecting day-to-day performance to long-term strategic goals
Accounting & Controls
- Oversee all accounting operations including monthly close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and financial statement preparation
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and audit readiness
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
Board & Investor Reporting
- Prepare board-level financial packages, investor updates, and management reporting with clarity and precision
- Support fundraising, debt financing, and M&A diligence processes as needed
- Develop the financial narrative for investors and analysts, underpinned by robust SaaS metrics
Business Partnering
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and People leaders to drive financial accountability across the business
- Own financial metrics and provide regular performance analyses
- Support revenue operations, pricing strategy, and go-to-market financial planning
Team & Systems Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team including FP&A, accounting, and revenue operations
- Drive the selection, implementation, and optimization of financial systems and tools (ERP, FP&A platforms, billing infrastructure)
- Build scalable, automated financial processes that support rapid growth and eventual public-company readiness
- Champion and model the use of AI and modern technology tools — actively embedding automation, AI-assisted analysis, and intelligent workflows into finance operations to move faster, reduce manual work, and raise the quality of output
- Set the standard for technology fluency on the finance team: encourage experimentation with tools like Claude and other AI systems for modeling, reporting, and documentation, and create space for the team to share what works
WORKING AT TELEPORT IN THE AGE OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY
At Teleport, using the best available tools and systems isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s part of how we work. We expect every Teleporter to actively adopt modern technology to do their job better: move faster, think harder, and produce work they’re proud of. That means embracing automation, better documentation systems, analytics, and tools like Claude regularly, bringing technology into your problem-solving, and sharing what works with your team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 18+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with significant time as VP of Finance, CFO, or equivalent senior finance executive
- Proven record of success at a high-growth B2B Cybersecurity, SaaS or infrastructure technology company in Series D/E/F stages with over $200mln in ARR
- Strong command of GAAP accounting, SaaS financial metrics, financial controls, and audit processes
- Demonstrated experience supporting a company through key inflection points — Series C+, late-stage private, or IPO preparation
- Outstanding communication skills — able to present complex financial matters to executive teams, boards, and investors with confidence and clarity
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, geographically distributed finance teams
- Hands-on experience evaluating, selecting, and scaling financial systems (NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive Insights, or comparable platforms)
- Collaborative, data-driven decision-maker who thrives in a fast-moving, distributed environment
- Ability to be in-person in our HQ in Oakland, CA, a few times a week for in-person collaboration with the executive team.
NICE TO HAVE
- CPA, CFA, or MBA from a leading program
- Experience taking a company through late stage private funding stages and IPO
- Open-source or developer-tools experience.
Why Teleport

Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value.
Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring an Enterprise Sales Lead to define and build the commercial opportunity for our emerging agentic products. You’ll identify where this technology solves meaningful customer problems, build relationships with enterprise buyers, and turn early interest into commercial deployments.
This role combines hands-on enterprise selling with product and GTM development. Working closely with our CTO, product, and engineering teams, you’ll help determine what we sell, who we sell it to, and how we package it. You should be comfortable taking an emerging capability to customers, learning quickly, and helping shape the offering as you build the business.
We’re building this effort with a small, focused team that works directly with customers, prototypes quickly, and turns promising technology into products people will use. Joining this team means helping define a new product category, its customer experience, and the business around it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how businesses participate in the agent economy and bring that vision to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop the enterprise sales and GTM strategy for our agentic products, identifying priority industries, buyers, use cases, and routes to market.
- Bring an established network of enterprise relationships and build new connections with decision-makers across commerce, services, and/or relevant regulated industries.
- Own the sales process from customer discovery and qualification through pilots, negotiation, and commercial agreements.
- Work directly with prospective customers to understand their workflows, business priorities, and requirements for deploying AI agents.
- Partner with product and engineering to translate customer needs into product requirements, demonstrations, and commercially compelling offerings.
- Help define positioning, packaging, pricing, and pilot structures, testing assumptions through customer conversations and actual deals.
- Build a repeatable approach to moving customers from early experimentation into production and broader adoption.
- Establish pipeline discipline, communicate market feedback, and help the team prioritize opportunities with the strongest commercial potential.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 12+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, with a track record of closing complex agreements and building trusted executive relationships.
- Meaningful startup experience, including building a new sales motion, launching an offering, or winning early enterprise customers.
- An established network of buyers in enterprise commerce, retail, services, or regulated industries.
- Experience selling technical products and translating emerging technology into clear business value.
- Direct involvement in shaping product positioning, packaging, pricing, or GTM strategy alongside product and engineering teams.
- Strong customer discovery skills and the judgment to distinguish a repeatable market opportunity from a one-off request.
- A hands-on approach: you’re comfortable prospecting, running discovery, developing proposals, and closing deals yourself.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and a product that will evolve through customer engagement.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling AI agents, commerce platforms, payments, trust and security products, or enterprise workflow software.
- Familiarity with customer journeys such as shopping, returns and refunds, reservations, ticketing, or insurance servicing.
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement, security reviews, and requirements for controlled or regulated workflows.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Mysten Labs is looking for a hands-on Security Engineer with strong application security fundamentals and a track record of finding and fixing real vulnerabilities. You’ll own bug bounty programs and external audits, secure our code and software supply chain, and build tooling that protects Mysten’s products and users across the Sui ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Run Mysten's bug bounty programs: triage, severity, responses, internal escalations, fix validation, and the budget and payouts. Turn recurring report classes into automated checks.
- Own audit engagements: scope and schedule external audits, act as the technical counterpart during the engagement, and track findings through remediation and fix validation.
- Conduct code and design reviews of systems built by Mysten, its subsidiaries and partners (Rust, TypeScript, Move). Drive issues to conclusion, including investigation and incident response, and run variant analysis so each bug class is closed everywhere it occurs.
- Own software supply chain security: dependency and CI/CD malware defenses, Endor Labs, the code security service (GitHub controls, merge bots), and the ongoing code security self-auditing service. Detect and respond to compromised packages, maintainers and build pipelines, and secure the provenance and signing of what Mysten ships.
- Build and improve anti-scam and anti-abuse tooling for the Sui ecosystem: detect phishing sites, malicious dApps, drainer contracts and other threats that target Sui users, and work with wallet teams on mitigations.
- Build security tooling: LLM-driven triage and review agents, and static and dynamic analysis (taint, call graphs, fuzzing) wired into CI and code review. Build in known-clean checks so people trust the results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, application security or product security, with a track record of finding real vulnerabilities (bug bounty reports, audit findings, CVEs or published research).
- Strong Web2 security fundamentals: XSS, CSRF, SSRF, authorization flaws, injection, deserialization, software supply chain failures, cryptographic failures.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, TypeScript, Python or Move, and experience reviewing and writing security-sensitive code.
- Hands-on knowledge of software supply chain attack surface: package ecosystems (npm, crates.io http://crates.io, PyPI), CI/CD (GitHub Actions workflow injection, token exposure, unpinned actions), and build provenance.
- Solid understanding of applied cryptography fundamentals and the common ways cryptographic systems are misused in practice.
- Experience on either side of a bug bounty program or an audit engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence teams you have no formal authority over.
- Interest in the web3 space is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Smart contract or wallet security: Move, Solidity or Rust-based chains; Sui's object and capability model is a plus.
- Static or dynamic program analysis: CodeQL, Semgrep, taint analysis, fuzzing, symbolic execution.
- Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work.
- Anti-phishing, anti-fraud or trust & safety experience: domain and content monitoring, crawling, classifiers, threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of recent crypto incidents and the defect classes behind them: drainer kits, DeFi frontend compromises, package-registry compromises.
- Notable bug bounty rankings, CVEs, publications or conference talks.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

An overview of this role
As the Corporate Development Director, you'll help influence how GitLab invests to win: what we build, what we buy, where we partner, and what we should not pursue. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships.
This role straddles strategy and M&A engagements. You'll lead research that frames GitLab's options: mapping the markets in and around our AI-powered DevSecOps platform, testing where we have a right to win, and turning that into clear recommendations for the executive team. When the answer is to acquire, you'll drive the deal process end to end, from outreach through close and integration.
Success here is not measured by deal count. It looks like sharper strategic choices: a well-reasoned point of view on our priority markets, investment theses that product and executive leaders rely on, acquisitions that speed up the roadmap when buying is the right answer, and an educated no when it isn't. You'll own the wider market perspective rather than individual product categories, and work with the team's Analyst on the research behind it.
What you'll do
Strategy and research
Own the wider market view.
Research the broader market GitLab competes in, beyond specific product categories: competitive dynamics, AI-native entrants, technology shifts and where value is moving. Collaborate with the team's Analyst on the research and turn the findings into a clear point of view on where GitLab should play.
Build an investment thesis for each focus area.
Work with Product and Engineering leaders to define the problems worth solving, the capabilities GitLab needs, and what it would cost in time and money to get there on our own.
Own the competitive and landscape view.
Maintain market maps and a current read on GitLab's competitors: their strategy, product direction, positioning, pricing, and M&A and funding activity. Produce competitor analyses that show where we lead, where we're exposed and how rivals are likely to move. Flag shifts by competitors, hyperscalers and AI labs that change our options, and bring the implications to Product and the executive team.
Define where GitLab should not play.
Identify adjacencies that dilute focus and markets where the economics or competition work against us. Make the case for a no with the same rigor as a yes.
Build, buy or partner
Run the build, buy, partner analysis.
For each strategic gap, compare the options side by side on speed, cost, risk, control and strategic fit, and bring a clear recommendation.
Deliver strategic clarity to
executives and the Board.
Produce short strategy memos/decks and business cases that set out the decision, the trade-offs and what we give up with each path.
Feed company strategy and planning.
Bring an outside-in view of the market and the inorganic options available into annual and long-range planning.
Work hand in hand with Strategic Partnerships.
When partnering is the right answer, frame the opportunity and hand it to the partnership owner with a clear thesis. When it isn't, explain why.
Deal execution and integration
Own end-to-end deal process management.
Validate target fit against GitLab's our target profile, product roadmap and other criteria, and build the acquisition rationale and business case. Drive our M&A process from intro call through the various steps through to closing and integration.
Evaluate the deal.
Develop valuation, commercial integrity assessment, impact on GitLab's business and provide negotiations assistance to the VP and the executive team.
Lead cross-functional diligence.
Run pre-LOI validation and diligence across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and People, and communicate findings clearly.
Drive deal documents with Legal.
Prepare NDAs, LOIs and purchase agreements with GitLab Legal and outside counsel.
Own integration outcomes.
Lead post-acquisition integration as the DRI, measured against the roadmap and business goals in the business case. Bring lessons learned back into the strategy work.
Build the external network.
Maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, bankers and advisors that bring us early insight and pipeline.
What you'll bring
Strategy and deal experience.
8+ years across corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting or technology investing, including 5+ years leading acquisitions end to end in enterprise software.
Structured strategic thinking.
You form a point of view from incomplete information, test it against data, and change your mind when the evidence says so. You're as comfortable recommending that we stay out of a market as that we enter it.
Market research depth.
Skilled in market sizing, competitive analysis and landscape mapping, and in turning research into a recommendation, not a report.
Deal craft.
Skilled in valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring, negotiation and integration planning, with experience across varied consideration structures.
Technical fluency.
A working understanding of software development, DevSecOps and the AI landscape, enough to hold substantive conversations with product and engineering leaders about roadmaps and architecture.
Clear executive communication.
You write short, decision-ready updates and present trade-offs plainly to executives and the Board, in an async-first environment.
Influence without authority.
You build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal and move decisions forward across functions.
Ownership with collaboration.
You own the strategic view and the recommendation, and partner closely with the team's Analyst on research and analysis.
Preferred:
familiarity with the DevSecOps, security, AI and open source ecosystems.
You value the
all remote
lifestyle and share our
values
.
About the team
The Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team helps GitLab decide how to grow beyond what we build on our own. We own inorganic strategy: acquisitions, strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and AI labs, and the research that tells us which to pursue and which to pass on.
We work across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and the executive group. We set direction and do the detailed work ourselves, with a high degree of ownership and transparency in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.

ABOUT MYSTEN LABS
Through Sui and our financial products, we’re building infrastructure and experiences for trading, liquidity, and asset management. Alongside that work, we’re developing the infrastructure and products AI agents need to operate reliably, handle sensitive information, and interact under clear rules.
As agents take on more responsibility, they need more than intelligence. They need persistent context, trusted access to information, and clear boundaries around what they can do. Mysten brings together capabilities across storage, memory, privacy, and policy-controlled interactions to help make that future possible.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Product Lead to turn our emerging agentic technologies into products customers can understand, adopt, and buy.
Your role is to translate our product capabilities into useful experiences and commercially viable offerings—for example, a commerce-focused product that helps retailers manage agent-driven shopping, returns, or refunds.
Working closely with our CTO, Sales Lead, and engineering, you’ll identify customer problems, rapidly prototype solutions, and help bring the strongest opportunities to market. You’ll connect customer discovery, product definition, experience design, and commercialization, staying close to the work from the first concept through launch.
Joining this team means helping define a new product category, its customer experience, and the business around it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how businesses participate in the agent economy and bring that vision to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and prioritize customer problems our other agentic products are well positioned to solve.
- Lead customer discovery alongside our CTO, developing a clear understanding of buyer needs, user workflows, and adoption barriers.
- Rapidly create prototypes, interactive demonstrations, and product variants using AI-assisted design and coding tools.
- Test concepts with customers and use their feedback to refine the experience, scope, and value proposition.
- Define product requirements and work with engineering to turn validated prototypes into reliable, production-ready offerings.
- Shape packaging, pricing hypotheses, positioning, and GTM strategy in partnership with sales and the broader team.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps.
And beyond.
🛡️ THE ROLE
Most GRC roles are about keeping auditors happy. This one is about earning our members' trust: every day, they share their diagnoses, their claims and their care with us.
You'll own security governance and risk at Alan end to end. That means one clear framework across our certifications and regulations, which the whole company uses to decide what matters most. You set the direction, make the calls on risk, and help every team own its part.
We just earned our HDS certification, and there's much more to build as we grow from 1M to many millions of members, across more countries and regulators. That includes how we govern AI, which Alan uses across its products and operations.
This is a hands-on senior role. You do the work yourself, mentor the junior GRC engineer we're hiring alongside you, and grow the team over time.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make our security framework a tool for the whole company. You own the full certification cycle (ISO 27001, HDS and those to come), and turn it into something teams use every day to prioritise, not a binder for auditors.
- Bring the security view on regulation. Legal and Risk own the regulatory relationships. You bring the security answer: what the rules mean for how we protect data, and which controls make it work in practice.
- Run risk as an ongoing programme. You map and prioritise security risks, including AI risks, turn them into clear treatment plans, and feed them into company-wide risk decisions with the Risk team.
- Help every team own its risks. You define the controls framework and the standards, while the teams who build and run our systems own the controls. You brief the board and audit committee, and you know which findings need an urgent call and which can wait for the quarterly report.
- Own incident governance. You triage and escalate incidents, own business continuity and disaster recovery, and shape the security side of our regulatory incident reports.
- Be a credible partner to engineering. You work with engineering teams early on new designs and spot control gaps (access, encryption, logging) before they ship. You don't need to be an architect, but you can hold the conversation.
🏗️ WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
- One governance model: clear ownership of risks and controls across teams, so security decisions don't bottleneck on one person.
- A living risk map: prioritised risks that actually drive company and engineering decisions.
- One compliance backbone: a single control system across our countries and regulators, built to scale.
- An automated evidence engine: evidence collected straight from engineering systems, so audits run continuously instead of as a quarterly rush.
You'll work closely with Legal, the Data Protection Officer, Internal Audit and Risk, and day to day with engineering and operations teams.
⭐ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Your team
You'll join Alan's Corporate team, which brings together our control functions: Risk, Corporate Governance & Internal Control, Legal, Compliance and Security. They share one mission: building what lets Alan operate at scale, safely and responsibly. Within that group, you carry the security governance and risk dimension, working hand in hand with the security engineers who run our infrastructure and platform security, and with a junior GRC engineer we're hiring alongside you. You'll be hands-on every day, building and owning the work yourself. Along the way, you'll mentor the junior engineer and help shape how GRC grows at Alan.
What you bring
- You want to build and own things yourself, and you enjoy helping someone else grow while you do it.
- 6+ years in security, with real GRC ownership.
- You've run a GRC roadmap in a certified or strongly regulated environment (ISO 27001, HDS, SOC 2, or regulated sectors like health, insurance or finance). You're comfortable working with certification auditors, and you can explain what a framework requires and why it makes sense for business teams.
- You take a stand on risks, and you'd rather close one real risk than write ten policies.
- You're fluent in French and English.
A big plus
- You've driven a certification or audit cycle end to end yourself.
- You've automated compliance work, or you're eager to, and you have a view on where AI can help.
- You've presented risk to senior leaders or a board.
- You've mentored or onboarded someone before.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
Location: You must be legally eligible to work from France, Belgium or Spain.
Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility.
Contract type: Permanent contract only (no freelancing).
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

Workplace: none
About us:
At Praktika.ai we are on a mission to deliver efficient and engaging learning experiences for billions of students worldwide by bridging the gap between learning apps and human tutors.
We have done this by creating a fully automated language tutorship experience powered by generative AI Avatars.
After raising $30 million in Series-A funding, we are growing and looking for a Chief of Staff to join us! We are a global small team of 50 innovators who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in language learning and tutoring.
In this fast-paced environment we like independent self-starters who can work well in a team as well as unassisted and who enjoy the working environment of an early-stage startup.
About the role:
Be the glue across the company, the heart of the role:
Run the leadership rhythm.
Prepare the weekly leadership sync, write down what was decided, and follow up every action until it is done.
Know what every team is doing.
Spot work that falls between teams and either fix it or get someone to own it.
Turn priorities into plans.
Take the CEO's priorities and turn them into plans with an owner, a date and a one-line weekly status.
Unblock decisions.
Bring each open decision to the right person with the facts and a recommendation, so nothing waits for weeks.
Own what has no owner.
When something lands with no obvious home, it comes to you.
Finance, about 40% of your time
Own the financial model.
Update it monthly, or weekly when needed. Build scenarios such as a fundraise, a cash view next to the accrual view, and unit economics like LTV:CAC and renewal curves.
Run the monthly close
with our external accountant. Review the numbers, catch errors before they reach the books, and report actuals against budget to the leadership team.
Get us ready to raise.
Prepare the finance and reporting for investors and the board, so we are ready for the next fundraise.
Run tax and entity admin
across our UK, US and UAE entities, with outside advisers: VAT returns, US tax and transfer pricing.
Manage vendor spend.
Approve and pay invoices, negotiate the big contracts (payments, cloud, analytics, AI providers) and track every renewal date.
Look after equity admin:
option grants and the cap table, with our lawyers.
Compliance and legal
Run the compliance programme
with our engineering lead: ISO 27001 and SOC 2, the yearly audits, policies and evidence.
Support enterprise deals.
Work with the B2B team on security questionnaires, data processing agreements and contract reviews.
Keep the company in order:
contracts, board consents and minutes, visas and entity filings, with our lawyers and people team.
Strategic projects
Take big bets from idea to launch:
new markets, new distribution platforms and large partnerships.
Spot opportunities nobody owns,
such as an award, a partnership or a market, and move them without being asked.
Run one-off projects
for the CEO and the leadership team: research, business cases, incentive plans and process fixes.
What are we looking for from you:
A finance background.
Investment banking, private equity, venture capital or corporate finance. This is not optional.
Strong financial modelling.
You can build and run a company model from scratch, and explain it to people who do not work in finance.
Proactive.
You see what needs doing and do it before anyone asks. We value this trait above all others.
Autonomous.
You make decisions on your own, with incomplete information, and you are comfortable with ambiguity.
A clear writer.
We work async, so most of your influence will happen in writing.
Low ego.
You do the unglamorous tasks as well as the strategic ones, and you see them as the way to learn the business.
Built for startup pace.
Urgent turnarounds and changing priorities do not throw you. You would rather ship, learn and fix than wait for perfect.
Why should you join Praktika:
We expect dedication and hard work but we also believe in rewarding it. Our compensation reflects the effort and results you bring to the table.
Top-tier salary to match your top-tier skills
