About Finom
Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer or Tech Lead who thinks like a product builder — someone who cares deeply about the "why" behind what they're building, not just the tickets in the backlog.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional domain team (Backend, Mobile, ML/AI, QA, Design, and Product) and own the end-to-end development of features that genuinely matter: company accounts and cash flows, banking transactions, card issuance and management, and AI-enabled accounting. You'll help shape architecture decisions, raise the bar on engineering quality, and mentor the engineers around you.
If you're energized by working at the intersection of great mobile engineering and real product impact — this is the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and build new features for our Android application, used daily by business owners across Europe.
Architect and implement reliable, intuitive solutions for:
Multi-account cash flow management
Banking transactions and payments
Physical and virtual card issuance, activation, and control
AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose
.
Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.
Who You Are
You're pragmatic and have a proven track record of shipping products that matter. You communicate clearly across disciplines and thrive in a cross-functional environment where everyone is solving the same customer problem together.
Your experience includes:
Strong knowledge of
Kotlin
(Java knowledge is a plus) and 5+ years of commercial Android development.
Deep understanding of
OOP
,
SOLID
, and
Clean Architecture
.
Solid experience with presentation layer patterns —
MVI
,
MVVM
, and
MVP
— and the ability to choose the right one for the context.
Hands-on experience with our core stack:
Reactive programming & async:
RxJava
,
Kotlin Coroutines / Flow
Dependency injection:
Dagger 2
,
Hilt
, or
Koin
Networking:
Retrofit
Navigation:
Cicerone
,
Jetpack Navigation Component
Modern UI:

Practical experience with
Firebase
(FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Experience with
Feature-module architecture
in production.
Confidence with
Git / GitLab
, including setting up and maintaining
GitLab CI/CD
.
A builder's mentality — you care about the product, the users, and the outcomes, not just the code.
Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Background in fintech or experience with financial products — you understand the stakes.
Solid grasp of mobile security best practices (especially critical in our domain).
Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance — reducing overdraw, improving recomposition efficiency in Jetpack Compose, and hitting smooth 60/120fps rendering.
Hands-on work with performance tooling:
Android Profiler
,
Perfetto
,
Baseline Profiles
, or similar.

you're proud of.
An active

profile with code you're happy to share.
Hands-on experience with
AI agents and LLM tools
(Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) — setting up agent environments, writing prompts, skills, and behavioral rules.
Experience with
AI-powered IDE tools
(Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) — including agent mode, rules files configuration, and integrating AI into the daily development workflow.
Understanding of model

— knowing which model fits which task and how to manage the context window effectively.
Ability to
evaluate and verify AI-generated output
— using automated tests, linters, and critical review to catch hallucinations and errors.

AI-powered accounting automation
Build polished, responsive UIs using
Jetpack Compose

Take ownership of code quality, performance, and stability — automated testing and thorough code reviews are non-negotiable.
Collaborate closely with Backend, QA, Design, and Product — you'll be shaping solutions end-to-end, not just implementing specs.
Drive technical decisions within your domain, challenge assumptions when needed, and proactively identify opportunities to build better.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices across the team.

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll help customers succeed with the Figma product suite, from individual designers to large enterprise teams. You’ll join an experienced, close-knit support team that cares about each other and about doing great work for customers. AI is changing how people design and build, and our products are changing with it. You’ll be among the first to see how customers use what we ship, you’ll learn directly from our Product and Engineering teams, and what you hear from customers will help shape what we build next.
This is a full-time role based in our Bengaluru office.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Resolve customer tickets in Zendesk, mostly by email, such as helping a designer get back into a locked account or sorting out who can view and edit a shared file
Troubleshoot technical issues across the Figma product suite, such as figuring out why a prototype isn’t behaving as expected or why a customer’s AI tool won’t connect to Figma
Review AI-generated output and credit usage to make fair, consistent calls, such as deciding whether a customer’s AI credit usage matches what they were charged and explaining the outcome clearly
Write clear bug reports and product feedback, such as documenting the steps to reproduce an issue affecting several customers so Engineering can prioritize a fix
Facilitate calls with customers when email isn’t enough, such as screen-sharing with an Org admin to walk them through their team’s setup
Stay current as our products evolve, such as joining a launch session with Product Managers and Engineers, then turning what you learned into a guide or macro for the team
Work from our Bengaluru office during a schedule that aligns with US business hours
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
2+ years in a customer support role, ideally at a SaaS company
Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, and regular use of AI tools in your work
A knack for technical troubleshooting and explaining complex things simply
Excellent written English and a warm, human communication style
Curiosity and a habit of learning new technology on your own
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Professional experience in UX or product design
Familiarity with AI design or code-generation tools
Working knowledge of Zendesk
Background in supporting both self-serve and enterprise customers

Role Description
As a Real Estate Analyst at Checkout.com, you will provide dedicated administrative, data management, and operational support to the Head of Real Estate, focusing on mitigating risk and increasing efficiency across the global portfolio. This role is essential for managing high-risk operational tasks, such as lease event tracking, lease administration, budgeting and data reporting to ensure a structured approach and prevent critical errors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lease Administration & Governance
- Proactively track, monitor, and manage critical dates for all lease events, including renewals and break clauses, acting as the primary conduit for populating and managing the tools that host our Real Estate data.
- Support the execution of Real Estate contracts by coordinating with Brokers, Procurement, Legal etc. to finalise signing, updating project budgets, and archiving completed agreements.
- Manage operational risk by ensuring all key details related to lease obligations are accurately recorded, tracked and action is taken.
- For business case generation, gather comparable evidence, property valuations, and market data to drive strategic negotiations.
- Liaise with regional, business and central teams to capture the justification and data necessary for business case approval.
- Manage subleasing activities, including monitoring sub-tenant compliance, tracking sublease income and key milestones, and coordinating with legal and property management teams.
2. Financial and Procurement Reporting
- Coordinate with Finance, Tax and Procurement teams for Real Estate budgets, including updating and managing the Real Estate OPEX and CAPEX budget tracking tools.
- Act as the central point of contact for all property-related budget reporting, preparing quarterly reviews in a clear, digestible format that includes Real Estate and Workplace costs - giving an all inclusive cost per desk / square foot / head.
- Assist in reporting refurbishment or new office delivery costs, against business as usual spend for operational office locations.
- Support the coordination of financial and legal documentation required for transactions, such as preparing group structure charts and financials for external parties (e.g., landlords).
3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Data Collation
- Lead the coordination and collection of energy, water, and utility consumption data across the global portfolio to support future CSR reporting requirements.
- Manage the challenge of obtaining utility data in co-working and serviced spaces where direct meter readings are complex, including liaising with local teams, operators and landlords to gather the necessary information.
- Act as the conduit between the CEO Office and ESG/CSR teams to ensure our portfolio meets the needs of Sustainability policies and or regulatory requirements.
4. Departmental Administrative Support
- Assist in due diligence and preparation of business cases by researching and reporting on regional office statistics (e.g., desk counts, utilisation, attendance, capacity & commercials).
- Act as a key liaison for business case presentation and refinement.
- Maintain dynamic headcount forecasts to ensure space planning aligns with evolving business needs, particularly for high-growth regions.
- Monitor and document team shift patterns to inform workspace strategy (e.g., HVAC service requirements, after-hours access, and desk rotation models).
- Monitor and manage utilisation reports for Serviced Offices, along with onboard and offboard leaves to locations where we do not directly manage access control.
- Maintain the central digital repository for all property documentation (leases, contracts, floor plans, and insurance certificates), ensuring strict naming conventions, accessibility, and version control are met to ensure 100% audit-readiness.
- Schedule and prepare agendas, collate pre-read materials, and document meeting minutes for key real estate governance forums, proactively tracking action items to ensure timely closure by stakeholders.
- Managing the administrative aspects of the "joiner/leaver" process for office access where no assigned Workplace / People person is assigned.
- Act as the primary administrator for processing property-related invoices, performing the initial "first-pass" review to flag discrepancies against purchase orders (POs) and ensuring all costs are accurately coded before final submission to Finance.
5. Health, Safety & Physical Security Management
- Coordinate the global H&S audit schedule in partnership with SMEs, managing the central audit database, evidence library, action log, and training records to track progress and compliance.
- Support the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting framework to surface risk trends and audit completion status, allocating audits to regional teams for execution.
- Own the scheduling, chasing, and evidence trail for the audit lifecycle, acting as the primary administrative point of contact to ensure smooth execution.
- Drive the audit lifecycle by ensuring all actions are identified, triaged, and managed to resolution, proactively identifying blockers and managing overdue items.
- Ensure regional teams interpret and apply the central H&S framework in accordance with local laws while maintaining the global baseline standards.
- Manage the integration of the H&S framework with wider Real Estate RACI to ensure clear accountability and prevent overlaps in responsibilities.
- Implement and maintain physical security policies and standards across all global office locations.
- Instruct periodic physical security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Oversee visitor management processes and physical security measures to safeguard personnel and assets.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
At Alan, we want people to find the right product to take care of themselves, as early and as easily as possible. Getting a new pair of glasses usually means an appointment, a lost prescription, 47 frames tried on in a store, and a two-week delay. Most people put it off for months.
The Shop is how Alan members get glasses, lenses and well-being products in a few clicks, covered by their insurance when possible. Most e-commerce teams are incentivized to sell more. We're incentivized to get members the right product at the right time for their health.
We're looking for a fullstack engineer to join the Shop crew. One brief: help our members choose what is right for them, when it is right for them, in a few clicks. Everything else, we figure out together.
ABOUT THE SHOP CREW
The Shop crew is a fully autonomous product team that owns the whole lifecycle of the Shop: not just the code, but the whole business. Product managers, product marketers, ops specialists, designers, data scientists and engineers work side by side on one mission.
What we've built so far:
- An end-to-end optics experience: frames and lenses, virtual try-on, prescription scanning, and checkout priced against each member's coverage.
- One commerce platform behind the whole Shop and its three verticals.
- A growing well-being catalog: about 14 brands and 170 products today, thousands soon.
The Shop is growing fast: more products, smoother flows, and an experience that's more and more integrated into the rest of Alan for our members. The crew needs to grow too, and that means plenty of new opportunities for engineers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Shop is one of the most varied crews in Alan Engineering. In the same week, you might:
- 🔌 Build integrations with our customized e-commerce back office, our in-house virtual try-on, suppliers and partner opticians.
- 🛍️ Ship member-facing flows: dynamic catalogs, purchase flows tailored to each member's coverage, prescription scanning, returns, and out-of-pocket purchases like lens upgrades and extra pairs.
- 🌿 Scale the catalog beyond optics, with discovery and personalized navigation that still work at thousands of products.
- ⚖️ Navigate legal ground: e-commerce rules, invoicing, France's 100% Santé reform, and supplier compliance. Selling medical devices is not like selling socks.
- 📣 Help products reach members in the Alan app, in campaigns, and through Mo, our AI health assistant. A shop that can't promote its products is just a warehouse.
- 📦 Work with ops on orders, deliveries and customer service, so a two-day delay never surprises a member.
You won't just write code. You'll question supplier contracts, debate marketing copy, and debug prescription-scanning logic. Some days it feels less like building software and more like running a small business. That's the point. And the impact is direct: when someone orders their glasses faster, they literally see better, sooner.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years building scalable software, with full-stack experience across backend and frontend.
- A strong product mindset. You want to understand the why before the how, and you enjoy working with members, ops, legal and marketing.
- Ownership from start to finish: you frame the problem, ship the solution, and watch the numbers afterwards.
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems. You help shape the scope instead of waiting for a spec.
- Clear communication with non-engineers, in English (French is a plus, since our first market is France).
- Humility, curiosity, and a real interest in making healthcare more accessible.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with e-commerce: catalogs, checkout, payments, order management, or a headless commerce platform like Saleor.
- Curiosity about where e-commerce meets healthcare.
- Experience with mobile (React Native) or with LLM-powered product features.
HOW WE WORK
- Our stack: React and React Native on the frontend, Python/Flask and PostgreSQL on the backend, all in one monorepo. Saleor powers our commerce back office.
- We deploy daily, and the engineers who make product decisions are the ones who build them.
- We use AI coding agents every day to move faster and focus on the hard problems.
- You own decisions, outcomes and a whole domain, and your incentive is to build what's best for members.
⭐ THE ENGINEERING TEAM ⭐
In our engineering team, we build the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first-class service to our members, health professionals, and even ourselves!
Being an engineer at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate engineers, with a lot of product interaction.
We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems!
Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them.

An overview of this role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our
Change Record
team within GitLab’s
Source Code stage
. As AI agents increasingly write code alongside people, every change needs a clear, trustworthy record of what changed, why, and who or what made it. You’ll build that record into GitLab’s source code experience, for humans and agents alike. This is a backend-focused role for an engineer with full-stack experience who enjoys balancing work on existing systems with new product development.
That work happens in one of GitLab’s oldest and most complex product areas, where you’ll use Ruby on Rails to improve a critical system serving GitLab.com, self-managed instances, and GitLab Dedicated. Source Code provides the interface layer, through Gitaly, to the Git repositories behind a large share of GitLab traffic, so you’ll help keep it reliable through performance tuning, caching, rate limiting, observability, and resiliency, collaborating with product, design, security, Gitaly, Code Review, and Source Code Experience teams. Supporting production systems and improving established experiences are central to the role, especially while you’re onboarding, and over time you’ll also help build experiences for developers working with agents.
You'll work remotely from the United Kingdom or Poland.
What you’ll do
Develop secure, well-tested, performant features and improvements using Ruby on Rails and GraphQL, among other technologies.
Work through complex requirements and legacy constraints to deliver clear solutions while protecting the reliability of this critical system.
Design and maintain backend services, APIs, data models, and business logic that support intuitive source code workflows.
Collaborate across functions and teams, both asynchronously and synchronously, and involve domain experts when their input will improve the outcome.
Use AI agents for well-scoped work when they can speed up delivery without sacrificing quality, and critically review their output.
Write maintainable code that follows GitLab's standards and contribute to constructive code reviews.
Help strengthen reliability by monitoring production health metrics, participating in Tier 2 on-call, troubleshooting incidents, contributing to root cause analysis, and improving observability and resiliency.
Share knowledge through code review, technical documentation, and everyday collaboration while learning from others.
What you’ll bring
Professional experience building backend web applications, services, or application programming interfaces, with experience using Ruby and GraphQL.
An understanding of relational databases, structured query language, data modeling, caching, background processing, and backend performance practices.
Experience with full-stack development to build and maintain user-facing workflows and their underlying systems.
Experience writing backend unit and integration tests, with familiarity with the testing pyramid, Git, and collaborative code review processes.
Clear written and spoken English communication skills, including sharing useful status updates in a remote, asynchronous environment.
The ability to manage assigned priorities, work through ambiguity, take ownership of your work, and seek guidance when needed.
Experience using AI coding agents to speed up software development while critically reviewing their output.
Bonus: you’ve built agents or agent-based workflows that run in production, not just prototypes.
About the team
The functional team works across Europe and North America, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration. It includes four engineers, comprising both backend and frontend engineers. We work closely with other Source Code teams, Agentic Preview, Repository Services, and Hardening, as well as other teams in the company such as the Gitaly team, and the AI Governance team.

Responsibilities
AI strategy and delivery.
Set the AI strategy for Operations and own its delivery end to end. Find where AI can remove manual work, build the business cases and lead implementation with functional, product and engineering owners. Set common evaluation standards, track benefits and make sure every solution runs with appropriate controls and human oversight.
AI automation.
Treat automation of operational processes as a core objective. Set targets for the share of work automated, prioritise the highest-value processes and measure the capacity released.
Strategy and roadmap.
Own and build the team that translates operational strategy into a prioritised improvement and AI roadmap. Define the problem each initiative addresses, the intended benefit, its dependencies and who is accountable for delivery, and lead delivery of key strategic projects.
Capacity and workforce planning.
Build a consistent approach to capacity and workforce planning. Develop demand forecasts and capacity models that help the business allocate resources.
Process redesign.
Lead cross-functional process redesign, focusing on how work moves between functions and where it can be automated. Work with the Head of Operations, who owns day-to-day process performance, and agree changes with process owners.
Operational controls.
Establish a practical framework for documenting operational controls and coordinating first-line testing. Help process owners identify gaps and track corrective actions, working with Risk and Compliance on the approach.
Portfolio management.
Manage the overall improvement portfolio, making dependencies and resource constraints visible. Bring clear recommendations to the COO and functional leaders when priorities compete or expected benefits no longer justify the work.
Measuring benefits.
Define how improvements will be measured, establish credible starting points and assess the effect of changes on service quality, control performance, capacity and cost.
Requirements
Significant experience in operational strategy, transformation or operational excellence in financial services, fintech, payments or another regulated, high-volume environment.
A proven record of setting an AI or automation strategy and delivering it in an operational setting, from use cases and business cases through to deployment, adoption and measured results such as reduced manual effort or capacity released.
Experience building and leading a team of operations managers, analysts, planners or improvement specialists.
A track record of running an improvement portfolio: building business cases, prioritising competing initiatives, managing dependencies and stopping work that no longer pays off.
Understanding of capacity and workforce planning, including demand forecasting and how to build capacity models that leaders use to make resourcing decisions.
Process improvement expertise (for example Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods) applied across functions, with measured results.
Working knowledge of first-line control frameworks, control documentation and testing, and experience working with Risk and Compliance.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to set credible baselines, measure benefits and present clear recommendations to the COO and senior leaders.
Nice to have
Experience in online brokerage, trading platforms or digital banking.
Experience with operations spread across several regulated entities or countries.
Hands-on familiarity with LLM tools, workflow automation or RPA platforms.
Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Jira or workforce management and process mining platforms.
Recognised portfolio, programme or project management qualification.

We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).
We are looking for a Product Owner to own the paying customer's experience after purchase.
We're not looking for a task manager. We're looking for someone who will own a part of the product end-to-end, from hypothesis to results.
Your mission
You'll own what happens after a user pays: getting every paying customer to a quality match as fast as possible.
This is not a classic subscription-retention role, and it's not SaaS onboarding. We need someone who knows how to increase the share of customers who reach the value moment, through better activation, matching, relevance, and experience.
What you'll work on
— Getting offer volume right: making sure customers see neither too many nor too few options
— Improving the relevance of recommendations and building trust in what we show
— Increasing relevant invites to paying customers
— Raising the probability that a new customer forms a quality match in their first week
— Designing mechanics that bring users back into conversations (e.g. gamification, nudges, reminders)
— Understanding which matching parameters matter most for different user segments, and using segmentation, personalization, and data enrichment of offers to improve results
The quality of free members' communication itself is outside this role. Your focus is activation, matching, relevance, and experience.
How you'll work
— Find bottlenecks and growth points in the post-purchase journey using data, research, and common sense
— Turn ideas into clear, testable hypotheses with defined success metrics
— Work with engineers, designers, analysts, and data/ML specialists to ship fast and efficiently
— Manage requirements, priorities, and timelines for smooth, predictable delivery
— Run experiments, analyze results and product metrics, then iterate and scale what works
Who we're looking for
A B2C product person with hands-on experience in:
— Customer experience and customer journey design, activation, onboarding, or the first-session experience
— Discovery-driven products with a large volume of offers or listings
— Search or feed relevance, matching, or recommendation systems
— Segmentation, personalization, and enriching offers with data
Relevant backgrounds
Marketplaces and aggregators, dating and social discovery, real estate and classifieds, e-commerce with large catalogs, or any product built around discovery, matching, recommendations, or personalization.
We expect from you
— You know how to formulate hypotheses and define requirements
— You can drive delivery
— You know how to validate results and run A/B tests and other experiments
— You're comfortable with qualitative and quantitative product research
— You work well cross-functionally with designers, analysts, and engineers
— You understand product metrics and how to find growth opportunities
— You focus on results, not process
— You take ownership instead of waiting for direction
— You're comfortable with changing priorities
— You communicate clearly and directly
— You treat failures as learning, not setbacks
What do we offer:
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
to work full-time;
The
initial pay level
or
pay range
for this role will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process and before the commencement of employment;
Vacation
28 calendar days per year;
7 wellness days per year
(time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
Bonuses up to $5000
for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
50%
payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings;
Corporate discount for
English lessons;
Health benefits.
According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
Workplace organization.
The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
Internal gamified gratitude system:
receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for our merchandise, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.

Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Elasticsearch, Scala) to join a team powering food search and logging for one of the world’s leading health and nutrition platforms. You’ll contribute directly to the systems that drive search — backend services, search infrastructure, and experimentation — with a focus on improving core metrics: conversion rates, time to log, query abandonment, and result relevance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to, build, and maintain backend services that drive the food search experience, integrating with systems across the broader engineering organization.
- Perform search performance tuning end-to-end — data design, indexing, query evaluation, and iterative improvement within Elasticsearch.
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of search and data technologies that improve result quality and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with senior search engineers, product management, and leadership on solution discovery, experiment planning, and delivery.
- Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and metrics for measuring and monitoring search quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Elasticsearch
- Demonstrated experience with performance tuning, query analysis, and relevance optimization in Elasticsearch at scale.
- Strong understanding of index design, mapping strategies, cluster management, and scoring/ranking mechanics.
- Familiarity with high availability, disaster recovery, and operational monitoring for Elasticsearch clusters.
- Ability to deploy new indexes or clusters as needed for load balancing or experimentation.
- Ability to translate product specifications into technical requirements and deploy ranking and relevance experiments with clearly defined success criteria and metrics.
Scala
- Strong experience writing, shipping, and maintaining Scala services in production.
- Comfortable working across a stack that also includes SQL and Python — Scala is the primary language for this engagement.
Agentic development
- Active user of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable AI-powered coding environments — shipping production code with them, not just using autocomplete.
- Familiarity with agentic coding patterns and workflows — code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test authoring.
- Able to articulate how AI tooling fits into their development process and where human judgment remains critical.
Engineering fundamentals
- First-hand experience building, scaling, and supporting large-scale data infrastructure systems in production.
- Strong understanding of database design, data architecture, and performance tuning across multiple data stores — MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar.
- Experience with high-volume messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
- Strong peer code review practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leveraging AI workflows for meaningful development acceleration beyond autocomplete — code generation, refactoring, debugging, and test authoring at scale.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
This role offers direct involvement in how a company is built and run: the choices about products, people, capital and execution that determine its success.
You’ll work with Barney and the leadership team to investigate difficult questions, develop independent recommendations and turn them into results. Your work might range from diagnosing why a product is underperforming to evaluating a new market, shaping a fundraising narrative or leading a company-wide initiative.
The standard is high. You’ll need to get deep into unfamiliar subjects, interrogate the numbers, challenge assumptions and explain your reasoning clearly. You’ll be expected to contribute your own view and take responsibility for what happens next.
As you build trust and context, you’ll take on greater autonomy, represent Barney in important discussions and own substantial work on his behalf. You’ll see how decisions play out and develop your judgement through direct experience.
For someone who intends to found a company, lead a business or become an investor, this is an opportunity to build the operating experience and commercial judgement to do it well.
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to partner with our CEO. Working alongside the leadership team, you’ll be the right hand to our CEO, driving the priorities that matter most across Cleo 🌱
- Investigate consequential questions. Analyse markets, products, customer behaviour and business performance. Establish what the evidence says, identify the choices and trade-offs, and make a clear recommendation.
- Own major initiatives. Take priorities off the CEO’s plate and drive them from an ambiguous starting point through to delivery. Work across functions, establish ownership, resolve obstacles and stay accountable for the outcome.
- Improve business performance. Get close to Cleo’s numbers. Identify where results diverge from expectations, work with leaders to understand the causes and help drive a credible response.
- Support fundraising and board decisions. Work with the CEO, Finance and leadership team on rigorous analysis, compelling materials and a clear account of our strategy, performance and capital needs.
- Make leadership time count. Shape discussions around the decisions that matter, prepare useful briefs and follow commitments through to completion. Partner with the CEO’s EA to align his time with his priorities.
- Write and communicate with precision. Produce decision papers, presentations and internal and external communications. Make complex ideas understandable and the reasoning behind recommendations easy to assess.
- Exercise independent judgement. Surface uncomfortable facts, challenge assumptions constructively and explain what would change your view. Build relationships across the business so your recommendations are informed and your work gets done.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
We’re looking for someone with exceptional ability, independent judgement and the ambition to take on consequential work. You may have developed these qualities in strategy, finance, technology, research, entrepreneurship or another demanding field. We’ll assess the quality of your thinking, the difficulty of what you’ve taken on and what you personally achieved.
- A record of exceptional achievement. You’ve distinguished yourself through the quality and impact of your work. You can point to difficult problems you solved, significant responsibility you earned and results you personally delivered. We’ll want to understand your contribution and what made the work demanding.
- Intellectual depth and range. You’ve gone deep in at least one area and can get to grips with unfamiliar subjects quickly. You ask incisive questions, reason from first principles and connect ideas across disciplines.
- Independent judgement. You distinguish evidence from assumption, form a clear view and explain your reasoning. You’re comfortable challenging strong opinions, admitting uncertainty and changing your mind when the facts warrant it.
- Analytical and commercial ability. You’re confident working with numbers, interrogating business performance and evaluating trade-offs. You can turn incomplete information into a sound recommendation and connect detailed analysis to its implications for the company.
- A record of execution. You bring structure to open-ended problems and take ownership through to the outcome. You earn cooperation from strong colleagues, resolve obstacles and follow through without needing to be chased.
- Exceptional communication. You write precise, persuasive prose, listen carefully and make complex ideas clear. You can disagree constructively, earn credibility with senior leaders and represent the CEO’s thinking accurately while contributing your own.
- Ambition, composure and low ego. You seek significant responsibility, welcome direct feedback and hold yourself to a demanding standard. You remain effective under pressure, handle sensitive information with discretion and bring care to both consequential decisions and routine preparation.
- Intelligent use of AI. You actively use AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, writing and execution. You test their outputs and retain responsibility for the quality of your work.
We welcome unconventional paths and evidence of excellence from different settings. Be ready to show us how you think, what you’ve built or changed, and what you learned from the results.
What you’ll gain
Direct access to the CEO’s thinking, close work with experienced leaders and the opportunity to see your recommendations tested in a real business. Your responsibility will grow as you demonstrate judgement and deliver results.
You’ll develop a practical understanding of how to set direction, allocate resources, evaluate performance and lead through others at a profitable AI company operating at scale.

We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

Strong ability to create

rather than relying primarily on flat or vector-based design.
Ability to work
quickly, independently, and consistently at a high quality bar
, including under changing production requirements.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to push artwork from a good first pass to a truly polished, premium final result.
Advantage:
3D knowledge or experience
with tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, or similar.
Ability to use 3D as part of the UI art workflow for

Experience creating assets and visual systems specifically for
slot or social casino games
.
Understanding of animation/VFX principles for UI, including glows, light sweeps, particles, reward reveals, and win celebrations.
Visual Quality & Style
The UI should feel
rich, dimensional, glossy, illuminated, tactile, and highly polished
. Reflective gold, luminous gems, dramatic lighting, premium materials, bold typography, strong contrast, and theatrical effects are key parts of the visual language.
Special attention is given to
pop-ups, win screens, rewards, promotional features, and major player moments
