ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Clipboard is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to help build and run the systems behind our sales organization.
You'll work across Salesforce, data, automation, and internal tools to help our sales team operate more effectively. That might mean building an automation that eliminates a recurring workflow, investigating a messy data problem, redesigning part of our Salesforce setup, or building a new system from the ground up.
We are a small team with an unusual operating model. Much of our execution runs through AI agents that we direct and quality-check, allowing each analyst to operate with the leverage of a much larger team.
This is equal parts builder and operator. You'll own systems end to end, work through ambiguous requests from reps and leadership, and be accountable for making sure the things you build actually work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own live systems. Take ownership of production systems such as account distribution, deal intelligence, competitor tracking, and data sync pipelines. You'll be accountable for their accuracy and reliability.
- Solve ambiguous problems. Work through requests from sales reps, managers, and leadership, figure out what is actually needed, and execute quickly.
- Direct AI agents. Write specs and prompts, supervise AI agents, and rigorously QA their output before it touches production data.
- Build automations and tools. Create scripts, scheduled jobs, Slack bots, and lightweight web apps that turn recurring manual work into scalable systems.
- Analyze and report. Use SQL and other tools to answer important revenue questions and build reporting the organization can trust.
- Guard data quality. Handle merges, deduplication, account mapping, enrichment, and other work required to keep our systems accurate at scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Evidence of building. You've built scripts, automations, tools, systems, or other solutions to real problems.
- AI-native working style. You already use AI to multiply your output and understand where it can fail and how to verify its work.
- High judgment under ambiguity. You can take a loosely defined problem, figure out what matters, and know when to act versus when to ask.
- Strong attention to detail. You're comfortable being the last line of defense before changes affect production systems and large datasets.
- Bias to ownership. When something you own breaks, you don't just fix the immediate issue. You look for the underlying problem and improve the system.
SQL and Python experience are strong pluses, but we're more interested in your curiosity, judgment, and ability to ship than checking every technical box.
NICE TO HAVE
- Salesforce administration or development experience, including flows, SOQL, or data model design.
- Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, analytics, or a similar environment.
- Experience building automations with tools, scripts, APIs, or AI agents.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
1. Application Review – We'll review your experience and evidence of things you've built, automated, or owned.
2. Take-Home Assessment – A practical, ~2-hour assessment using a fictional company, mock website, and CRM. You'll have 48 hours to complete it, and AI tools are encouraged.
3. Technical Walkthrough – A 30-minute session where you'll demo what you built, explain your decisions, and make a small live change to your system.
4. Manager Interview – A 30-minute conversation focused on communication, ownership, judgment, and how you operate under ambiguity.
5. Final Steps / Offer! – Some candidates may have an executive conversation, followed by references and an offer.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary
- Insurance benefits + 401k options
- Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays
- Remote-first working environment

About the role
As an Applied AI Engineer on our Enterprise team, your role is to guide some of France's largest businesses to the frontier of AI and help them deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working. You will become the go-to Claude Platform specialist and trusted technical advisor for your customers, advising their engineering teams on architecture, agent design, and evaluation, and working with the C-level and senior executives who sponsor these programmes to show the business value Claude can create and help them reach a confident decision to build on Claude.
Enterprise deals are different. Procurement cycles are longer, more stakeholders are involved, and success depends on being able to connect the technical work to the outcomes the boardroom cares about. You will be as comfortable advising an engineering team on evaluation and architecture as you are presenting a value case to a CIO or CTO, and you will carry the technical thread across every stage of a multi-quarter engagement. Much of this work happens in French, with French executives and engineering teams, so native or fluent French is essential for the role.
You will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take each customer from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude. Once they have decided, you set their systems integration partner up to deliver, agreeing the target architecture and what good looks like, and you stay close as the customer's technical advisor on Claude throughout deployment, while the partner does the build. Working alongside Anthropic's Product and Engineering teams, you will use your knowledge of the Claude Platform to advise on evaluation, recommend architectures that meet enterprise security and scale requirements, and create the technical and business resources that help large organisations succeed with Claude.
Responsibilities
Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to take enterprise customers in France from first conversation, through technical evaluation, proof of value and procurement, to the decision to build on Claude
Lead the technical side of each opportunity through to that decision, and remain the customer's technical advisor on Claude as they deploy
Set customers and their systems integration partners up to deliver: agree the target architecture, define what good looks like, and stay on hand to advise the delivery team as the build progresses
Guide enterprise customers to the frontier of AI, advising them on how to deploy Claude into their operations, their products, and their ways of working
Help customer engineering teams see how they would build on Claude, covering architecture, agent design and evaluation, so they can make a confident decision
Build and present the business value case for Claude with C-level and senior executives, in French and English, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes such as cost, revenue, risk, and time to market
Guide customers through long, multi-stakeholder procurement and adoption cycles, including technical evaluations, proofs of concept, security and architecture reviews, and a clear path to production
Work with Account Executives on account strategy, deal qualification, and executive engagement plans, and with Applied AI Architects to keep context and continuity across every engagement
Run executive briefings, technical workshops, and enablement sessions for both leadership and engineering audiences
Navigate enterprise requirements around security, compliance, data residency, and governance, working with Anthropic's internal teams where needed
Identify patterns across enterprise engagements and feed insights back to Product, Engineering, and the wider Applied AI team
Travel to customer sites across France for executive meetings, workshops, and relationship building
You may be a good fit if you have
Native or fluent French, written and spoken, as you will work day to day with French enterprise customers at both executive and engineering level
6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder
Experience in a pre-sales or technical advisory role selling into large enterprises, ideally in the French market, including scoping and designing complex solutions
Experience with value-based selling, meaning you can build a business case, quantify impact, and present it to senior decision makers
Comfort presenting to, and building relationships with, C-level and VP-level stakeholders
Experience owning the technical win in enterprise deals: evaluations, proofs of concept and technical due diligence with engineering, security, legal and procurement teams
Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale
A hands-on engineering background, including building and deploying production applications, so you can relate to engineering leaders and their teams
Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements, and experience working through them with customer teams
The ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences, and to move between industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing
A passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
The IT Operations team keeps Anthropic running — we make sure every employee can do their best work without friction. We're seeking an IT Support Engineer who combines deep technical skills with a genuine service mindset and sound judgment.
Anthropic is growing fast, and our IT operations need to keep pace. That means onboarding at scale, automating repetitive processes (including with Claude), and continuously improving the employee experience. You'll handle support challenges across our primarily macOS environment while contributing to the operational improvements that help us scale. You'll work closely with IT Engineering and Security, with opportunities to grow into more technical infrastructure work over time.
Responsibilities
End-User Support
Triage and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking, and accounts — primarily through our ticketing system, with additional support via Slack and in-person
Diagnose and resolve issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and our core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian)
Troubleshoot device issues, including enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement
Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding, reorgs)
Handle escalations requiring cross-team coordination
Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours
Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers
Communication & Documentation
Communicate clearly with users of all technical levels
Write and maintain internal documentation including runbooks, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles
Identify patterns in support requests, surface recurring issues to the team, and identify opportunities for automation or systemic solves
Operational Improvement
Help streamline onboarding and other high-volume operations as the company scales
Contribute to automation efforts
Maintain and improve device management, identity, and access systems
Assist with scripting (Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks
You may be a good fit if you
Have 7+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
Are an excellent communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people solve problems
Have strong troubleshooting skills and are methodical, curious, and persistent
Demonstrated supporting macOS endpoints and comfortable supporting ChromeOS, iOS, and Android
Have significant experience with Google Workspace administration
Have experience with Slack administration — workspace management, permissions, and troubleshooting
Have substantial experience supporting and administering additional SaaS tools
Understand identity and access fundamentals — SSO, MFA, directory services
Are familiar with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management concepts
Have experience with basic scripting (Bash or Python) for automation
Take ownership of problems and follow through until they're resolved
Think beyond the immediate fix — you ask "why did this happen?" and "how do we prevent it?"
Are organized enough to manage competing priorities without things falling through the cracks
Propose solutions when you see a process that doesn't scale
Are looking to develop deeper technical skills and take on more complex systems administration challenges over time
Strong candidates may also
Be familiar with zero-trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling
Have experience with networking basics — DNS, DHCP, VPNs, networking fundamentals
Have contributed to IT projects beyond day-to-day support (migrations, tool rollouts, process redesigns)
Have experience using AI tools to improve personal or team productivity
Location
This role is based in Tokyo, Japan and there is a 4 day/week in office expectation.
What Makes This Role Unique
You'll be joining a high-impact IT team supporting some of the world's leading AI researchers and engineers. The pace is fast and you'll have real ownership over your work. This isn't a role where you follow rigid scripts — you'll be trusted to use your judgment, improve our processes, and grow with the team. Because we're scaling rapidly, you'll have meaningful opportunities to shape how IT operations work at Anthropic.
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be received on a rolling basis.
