About the role
🤓
Finance at seQura runs on data: recurring calculations, regulatory processes, provisioning, reporting cycles, and profitability tracking. As a Senior Financial Product Data Analyst, you'll own the link between how Finance actually works, the KPIs it tracks, and the decisions those KPIs drive, turning that understanding into reliable, self-service data products.
This isn't a "receive a ticket, write a query" role. You'll work closely with Finance and Finance Tech teams to understand why a number matters before you model it, then build trusted data products that Finance teams can use independently.
Your work will directly improve how Finance operates, helping establish a single source of truth for revenue, enabling self-service reporting, and ensuring the business can make confident decisions based on reliable data.
What challenges you'll be solving 🚀
Learn seQura's Finance domain deeply enough to understand which KPIs matter, why they matter, and the business decisions they support—from pricing and provisioning to servicer settlement and product profitability.
Design and build production-grade data products, not just queries: dbt models on Redshift, fully documented and tested to Single Source of Truth standards, together with the Metabase dashboards and self-service datasets that sit on top of them.
Partner directly with Finance stakeholders to translate complex financial and regulatory processes into robust, reliable, and auditable data models.
Validate and reconcile critical Finance outputs, including servicer reports, provisioning runs, and amortisation tables, ensuring they are accurate and audit-ready.
Chase data quality issues back to their source, working closely with Data Engineering to solve problems upstream instead of applying downstream workarounds.
Help close the existing revenue gap between operational systems and the data warehouse while improving Finance models for defaults and amortisation.
Present findings, recommendations, and new data products directly to Finance leadership, connecting the data back to the business decisions it's meant to support.
Contribute to broader Data & AI governance initiatives, including metadata, documentation, and data catalog work wherever it impacts Finance.
About the Data team
🧩
Team mission
To turn seQura's raw data into trusted, well-governed data products that power business decisions, reporting, and AI across all domains.
What we own
The dbt transformation layer across business domains.
The Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for key business metrics.
Semantic models that enable consistent reporting and analytics.
Data contracts and governance standards across domains.
Data lineage, documentation, and discoverability.
Data quality, testing, and monitoring to ensure trusted data products.
Team Structure
You'll join a team of four Analytics Engineers, working alongside a Data Governance Lead and reporting to the Head of Data.
You'll collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Finance Tech, Data Engineering, and the wider Data & AI team to ensure Finance data is accurate, governed, and easy to consume.
How we work
We treat data as a product, with clear ownership, quality standards, and consumers.
We build self-service data products rather than one-off reports.
We understand the business context before building data models—we care as much about why a metric exists as how it's calculated.
We work closely with domain experts to turn business knowledge into reusable, trusted data assets.
We continuously improve data quality through governance, documentation, testing, and collaboration.
What to expect in the next 90 days
🏁
Month 1
Learn seQura's core Finance processes and KPIs, including pricing, provisioning, servicer settlement, and product profitability. Meet stakeholders across Finance and Finance Tech, and become familiar with the existing dbt models and Metabase dashboards supporting Finance.
Month 2
Take ownership of your first data quality or reconciliation initiative end-to-end, tracing issues back to their source alongside Data Engineering while contributing to an active dbt model.
Month 3
Deliver your first self-service Finance data product—a documented dbt model together with a Metabase dashboard—that Finance stakeholders can use independently, and present your work and recommendations to Finance leadership.
Tech stack & environment
🛠️
Our Finance Analytics stack is built around SQL, dbt, Redshift, and Metabase, enabling trusted, production-grade data products across Finance.
The team uses dbt for transformation and testing, Redshift as the analytical warehouse, and Metabase to deliver self-service reporting. OpenMetadata supports governance and discoverability, while Python and Airflow are used where automation or orchestration adds value.
What you’ll need 🤝
Must have:
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.
Strong hands-on SQL skills.
Practical experience with dbt, including data modeling, testing, and documentation.
Experience building dashboards and self-service data products using Metabase (or an equivalent BI platform).
Demonstrated ability to understand Finance processes, not just execute against a specification, and translate that understanding into robust data logic.
Strong business mindset, with the ability to connect KPIs to the decisions they support.
Fluent English.
Nice to have:
Experience in fintech, lending, or BNPL environments.
Knowledge of provisioning, amortisation, EIR, or IFRS 9.

About Us

What the Role Is
Babylist is creating a new
VP of Merchandise Planning, Allocation, and Inventory Management
to own how the company plans, buys, and allocates inventory as it scales beyond $1B in merchandise revenue. This is a net-new leadership role, reporting to the CFO/COO and sitting alongside senior functional leaders across Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Data/Finance. The VP will own the strategic vision, operating standards, and systems roadmap for Planning. The mandate: give Babylist's planning function a clear point of view, faster decisions, and enough operational rigor to deliver a great customer experience and financial results through inventory. This role is remote and open anywhere in the US, with a preference for West Coast candidates.
Who You Are
Proven executive leadership of a merchandise planning, inventory management, and allocation function at a wholesale retail business across hundreds of vendors, ideally $500M to $2B+, through double-digit growth
A strong people manager with a track record of building a high-performance team culture: setting clear expectations, coaching direct reports toward promotion-ready capability, and building bench strength as the team scales.
A track record of setting strategic vision and operating standards for a planning organization: defining what "great" looks like, not just executing against someone else's model.
Demonstrated speed and conviction in high-stakes decisions (org design, staffing, systems investments) and the discipline to hold those decisions through execution
Experience building the planning point of view behind allocation as we expand the distribution network, the inventory deployment and drop-ship strategy that comes with adding fulfillment nodes.
Direct experience owning a demand planning or allocation platform implementation (e.g., Intuendi, Blue Yonder, o9, ToolsGroup, Impact Analytics) through to full adoption, closing the gap between "live" and "trusted and used."
A history of designing and scaling planning organizations, roles, levels, and career paths, for a rapidly growing and evolving business.
Comfort operating as an equal, vocal strategic partner to Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Data/Finance leaders.
Fluency in inventory KPIs (in-stock rate, weeks of supply, weeks on hand, aged inventory, working capital efficiency) and experience owning to in-stock or inventory incidents.
Experience owning operations that sit between planning and supply chain, vendor onboarding, vendor performance analytics, or drop-ship EDI a plus
You naturally reach for AI in your work. At Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
How You Will Make An Impact
Define and develop the team to MerchandisePlanning's north star: the standards, operating cadence (OTB, team ceremonies), and expectations for every level of the function of a high-performance team
Take the forecasting/allocation platform from "migrated" to "trusted."
Finalize and execute a scalable org design for Planning, Inventory Management, and Allocation built for a $1B+ business. Fill open roles, set reporting lines, and communicate changes with enough lead time for the team to plan around them.
Build and drive the planning point of view behind the warehouse network expansion and inventory deployment across the network.
Own the inventory strategy: when to drop-ship vs. own, when to invest more vs pull back, when to pull back vs add more SKUs based on cannibalization or customer need with Merch partners. Set the criteria, make the call, and work through your team to execute on that strategy.
Own inventory health end to end: in-stock rate, weeks of supply, aged, and working capital efficiency, including leading the org's response when network in-stock performance slips.
Lead leaders: develop the team below you into stronger, more autonomous operators.
Establish Planning as an equal, vocal partner to Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Data & Finance in MBRs, S&OP, OTB, and other cross-functional forums, showing up with a point of view, not just support.
Why This Role
You'll sit at the same table as Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Data & Finance leadership, directly shaping how Babylist buys, allocates, and delivers inventory to families.
You're inheriting real momentum, not a blank slate: a forecasting platform already live, a team that's proven it can adapt, and real opportunity to build out the team as the business scales
Direct visibility with the CFO/COO on working capital and inventory strategy, including board-level conversations on inventory efficiency.
About Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation.
We offer a competitive base, meaningful equity, and the bonus target.
Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.

ABOUT ENEBA
At Eneba, we’re building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for the gamers of today and tomorrow. Our marketplace supports close to 20m+ active users (and growing fast!), provides a level of trust, safety and market accessibility unparalleled to none. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Join us as we continue to scale, diversify our portfolio, and grow with the evolving community of gamers.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We’re the Eneba Engineering team. We bring together product-minded engineers, tech leads, and managers who are passionate about building and maintaining a stable, scalable marketplace for gamers. Our mission is to keep Eneba running smoothly while enabling steady, iterative growth. We focus on reliability, clear ownership, and pragmatic engineering that serves real business needs.
We're looking for a Head of Engineering to own Eneba's engineering organization day to day. You'll drive technical decisions, people structure, process evolution, and AI adoption across an org of 70+ engineers spanning Software Engineering, Mobile, Security, and IT Admin. You'll report directly to our VP of Technology and work in close partnership with our Director of Product.
What you'll own in year one
- Own the overall stability, reliability, and efficiency of Eneba’s core technology, ensuring the platform runs smoothly while continuing to evolve iteratively over time.
- Lead, mentor, and support a lean core of engineering managers and tech leads fostering a culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, and strong technical ownership.
- Maintain and continuously improve engineering practices, processes, and documentation so that teams can onboard quickly, rotate between projects, and keep the “machine” well oiled despite ongoing growth.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical priorities that optimize for long-term maintainability over constant reinvention.
- Anticipate scaling and stability risks (e.g., headcount changes, new projects, or shifts in focus) and proactively prepare the platform, architecture, and teams to handle them with minimal disruption.
- Ensure a high bar for code quality, security, and operational excellence, while keeping the organization lean and efficient rather than growing the team unnecessarily.
- Create an environment where Eneba can safely experiment with new practices and technologies that improve efficiency or enable future projects when needed, without compromising the stability of the existing platform.
- AI adoption: setting the culture, tooling, and behavior modeling for AI/LLM usage across the engineering organisation
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years as a Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior engineering leadership role
- Proven experience leading engineering organisations of 40+ engineers in product-focused tech companies, operating as a manager of managers with tech leads and engineering managers reporting into you across multiple disciplines (backend, frontend, mobile)
- Strong hands-on software engineering background earlier in your career, with the ability to make architecture and system design decisions across the stack and earn the trust of senior engineers independently
- Track record of scaling engineering teams in startup or high-growth environments, with a demonstrated ability to move fast, make decisions without heavy approval chains, and operate in ambiguity
- Experience working in consumer-facing product companies (marketplace, e-commerce, gaming, consumer fintech, or similar)
- Genuine enthusiasm for people leadership at scale — you've built and coached engineering managers and tech leads over multiple years, developed talent, and handled underperformance, restructures, and difficult conversations directly
- Active user of AI/LLM tools in your own work, with demonstrated experience driving adoption within your engineering team — including a clear point of view on trade-offs around cost, quality, and use cases
- Demonstrated ability to run stable, scalable platforms with a focus on reliability, predictability, and incremental improvement over time
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience partnering closely with product leadership and representing engineering in executive-level and cross-functional discussions
- Comfortable operating without rigid long-term roadmaps; able to bring judgment, structure, and continuity while preparing the organisation for likely challenges
- Experience working in multi-product or multi-project organisations is a strong plus
- Based in Lithuania or willing to travel regularly to our Kaunas headquarters, particularly in the first three months
- Fluent English (business proficiency required)
What it’s like to work at Eneba
- Opportunity to join our Employee Stock Options program.
- Opportunity to help scale a unique product.
- Various bonus systems: performance-based, referral, additional paid leave, personal learning budget.
- Paid volunteering opportunities.
- Work location of your choice: office, remote, opportunity to work and travel.
- Personal and professional growth at an exponential rate supported by well-defined feedback and promotion processes.

Own the disclosure checklist and eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) review process, and identify ways to improve disclosure quality, clarity, and consistency.

Experience in owning SEC reporting deliverables, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, in a public company or a public accounting environment serving public company clients.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to own a calendar, drive accountability across teams, and manage competing deadlines independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and interpret complex accounting guidance.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating with Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and business partners.
Proficiency with Workiva Wdesk and NetSuite is preferred.

Participate in sprint ceremonies and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation.
Proficiency in automated UI testing frameworks, preferably Playwright with JS/TypeScript.
Strong hands-on experience with API automation.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Experience working with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate test development and debugging.
Preferred Qualifications:
