About the company
Our client is an FDA-registered and ISO 17025 accredited independent contract microbiology laboratory providing essential testing and research services across a diverse range of industries. Based in the United States, the team serves global leaders in the pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, and food sectors. By leveraging decades of expertise in ASTM, AOAC, and USP standards, they help partners verify product efficacy, ensure safety compliance, and support innovative marketing claims through rigorous scientific analysis.

Own the commercial health of your accounts, including responsibility for renewals, retention, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansion by understanding client needs and technical requirements.
Coordinate multiple active projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication between the client and the internal technical team.
Handle account escalations with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues while maintaining the long-term integrity of the partnership.

Role Type: Full-time
About the company

Job Summary
We are seeking a consultative, technically-minded Account Executive to drive growth within the highly regulated life sciences sector. This is a vital position responsible for navigating the full sales cycle—from initial scoping and technical consultation to final closing—ensuring that clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic industries receive the precise testing services they require to bring safe products to market.

Own the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and initial discovery to proposal generation and closing.

Documented success selling complex technical or laboratory services (e.g., CRO/CDMO, contract testing, scientific instrumentation).
Proven ability to engage and influence technical stakeholders (QA/QC, Regulatory, or R&D).

Experience managing a structured sales process within HubSpot Sales Hub.
Exceptional professional written and spoken English, with the ability to draft precise technical proposals.
Proven consultative selling skills, focusing on solution-building rather than "hunter-only" transactional tactics.
Ability to work US Central Time hours (ideally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT).
Nice-to-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.
An existing network within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Cosmetics, or Disinfectant Manufacturing sectors.
Experience selling into Latin American manufacturing markets.
Fluency in Spanish.
Experience with MSA negotiations and high-level vendor qualification protocols.

ABOUT CANTINA:
Cantina Labs is a social AI company, developing a suite of advanced real-time models that push the boundaries of expression, personality, and realism. We bring characters to life, transforming how people tell stories, connect, and create. We build and power ecosystems. Cantina, our flagship social AI platform, is just the beginning.
If you're excited about the potential AI has to shape human creativity and social interactions, join us in building the future!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an ML Engineer to own the production inference stack for our text-to-speech (TTS) and speech recognition (ASR) models, end to end. Our research team delivers trained model checkpoints; you will productionize them as low-latency, real-time streaming services that run cost-efficiently on GPUs. The role covers the inference engines, the Kubernetes infrastructure they run on, and the performance benchmarking and accuracy validation that let us ship changes safely. You will bridge research and production, and own latency, throughput, cost and accuracy as we scale.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build and optimize streaming inference engines for TTS and ASR models, including multi-stage model pipelines.
- Optimize latency (time to first chunk, p50/p99) and throughput using continuous batching, CUDA Graphs, torch.compile and mixed precision.
- Maintain numerical parity with the reference implementation through automated accuracy regression tests, per stage and end to end.
- Deploy and operate GPU inference services on Kubernetes: autoscaling, containerization and infrastructure as code.
- Build CI/CD for model artifacts, with model versioning and reproducible releases.
- Own observability and performance benchmarking: p50/p99 latency, real-time factor (RTF), GPU utilization and cost per request.
- Partner with research to productionize new models.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling and optimizing ML models in production, beyond consuming model APIs.
- Working knowledge of the full inference stack, from CUDA kernels to serving frameworks, with depth in some layers; expertise across all of them is not expected.
- GPU performance optimization: profiling (Nsight Systems, PyTorch Profiler), memory bandwidth, CPU-GPU synchronization.
- Solid understanding of model serving: continuous batching, KV cache management, request scheduling.
- Production experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Python and PyTorch, and a rigorous approach to performance benchmarking.
- Experience with speech or audio models (TTS, ASR, voice conversion).
- Experience with inference frameworks such as vLLM (vLLM-Omni), SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, TensorRT or Triton Inference Server.
COMPENSATION:
When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
BENEFITS FOR U.S.-BASED ROLES:
- Competitive salary and generous company equity
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance – 99.99% of premiums covered by Cantina
- 42 days of paid time off, including:
- 15 PTO days
- 10 sick days
- 15 company holidays
- 2 floating holidays
- Generous parental leave & fertility support
- 401(k) retirement savings plan

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
Role Summary
We are seeking an Applied AI, Forward Deployed Engineer to build customer use cases on top of the Mistral stack. You will turn "we have agents" into "we shipped something a client uses." This role is about composing cybersecurity-related agentic workflows, configuring harnesses for real-world scenarios, and delivering value directly to clients.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Mistral, you may also work on use cases outside cybersecurity, bringing the same context engineering, orchestration, and eval work to enterprise workflows in finance, manufacturing, defense, or the public sector.
What You Will Do
- Client-Facing Agentic Solutions
- You'll individually help deploy into production use cases with considerable business impact across various industries, with cybersecurity client assignments as a priority
- You'll work on state-of-the-art GenAI applications, driving a crucial technological transformation together with our customers
- Tackle iconic use cases that no existing solution on the market can address - from custom configuration of cybersecurity harnesses for cloud defense, to optimizing agentic vulnerability scanning solutions, to customizing agentic red-teaming solutions or penetration testing scenarios
- You'll work directly on client use cases, translating security requirements into agentic solutions
- You'll be involved in pre-sales calls to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and aspirations, providing technical guidance on our products and explaining Mistral technologies to various stakeholders
- You'll collaborate with our product and science teams to continuously improve our product and model capabilities based on customer feedback
How We Work in Applied AI
- We care about people and outputs
- What matters is what you ship, not the time you spend on it
- Bureaucracy is where urgency goes to vanish. You talk to whoever you need to talk to. The best idea wins, whether it comes from a principal engineer or someone in their first week
- Always ask why. The best solutions come from deep understanding, not from copying what worked before
- We say what we mean. Feedback is direct, timely, and given because we care
- No politics. Low ego, high standards
- We embrace an unstructured environment and find joy in it
About You
- You are fluent in English
- You have 2+ years as a technical individual contributor (data scientist or software engineer) on AI-based products
- You have proven experience in AI or machine learning product implementation with APIs, back-end, and front-end interfaces
- You have experience tackling advanced RAG, building agentic use cases, or fine-tuning LLMs
- You have a deep understanding of the concepts and algorithms underlying machine learning and LLMs
- You have strong technical coding skills in Python
- You have strong communication skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Strategy & Ops Senior Associate role is an experienced generalist role at Clipboard suited for the “all-around athlete” type who can do it all and wants exposure to a range of problems and opportunities.
You’re likely someone who’s interested in and capable of solving different problem types – you’re resourceful, adaptable, and confident you can figure it out if you can sink your teeth in deep enough.
Your first “tour of duty” will be on the Billing team (see more below). The specific projects you take on will depend on your strengths and what we learn during the recruiting process and your first days at Clipboard; that being said, here is a list of example initiatives to give you an idea:
- Build an internal predictive analytics model and corresponding underwriting process to catch bad payers early with high accuracy to inform our contracting decisions and risk mitigation tactics
- Research, vet, and onboard a new vendor that embeds AI agents into our customer-facing collections efforts
- Redesign our process for converting workplaces to new methods of payment, such as getting customers who send checks to start paying us via eCheck to speed up the cash conversion process
- Manage a team of Billing Account Managers
FIRST TOUR OF DUTY – QUICK BACKGROUND ON BILLING
Our most immediate need right now is on the Billing team. The TLDR is that we want to maximize our profitability by collecting money as fast as possible and minimizing losses, while preserving the customer experience, all in service of reliably converting revenue into cash (the lifeline of a capital-intensive business like ours). This in a way is “ensuring high-quality growth” for the company.
Although Clipboard provides a service where workplaces can find qualified professionals to fill shifts, we are in many ways a lending company at our core since we pay professionals immediately after they work a shift. For illustrative purposes: a nurse works a shift → we pay the nurse $100 immediately with our cash → the workplace pays us $120 a month later. We extend debt to workplaces using cash we borrow, with interest, from an Asset-Backed Line (ABL) of credit – workplaces use that debt to pay their staffing costs, and we expect to be paid back by the workplaces at a later date based on agreed-upon net terms.
Billing is doing the critical work of converting our revenue into cash that we put in the bank. Otherwise, money we cannot collect is money we’ve already burned. With thousands of customers operating in different regulatory environments, under different conditions, with nuanced capital structures and corporate setups, and using varied complicated processes…this can be hard to do at scale. We consistently fight a multi-faceted battle: a battle wherein we must maximize the speed at which we recognize revenue, maximize the margin associated with each shift, and maximize the customer experience, all without letting one unduly impact the other.
Optimizing collections is critical to make sure Clipboard is generating sustainable, high-quality growth and turning top-line revenue into cash that we use to service or grow other parts of the business, and you will help us do that.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We find those who are most successful in this type of role:
- Are insatiably curious and notice non-obvious clues and patterns: Curiosity https://creatingvalue.substack.com/i/46535664/noticing-and-curiosity sits atop our company values. Understanding something from first principles and getting to the root cause of the problem will often reveal the best solution, and a natural and unwavering curiosity to keep asking questions and digging will take you most of the way.
- Roll up their sleeves and go to the source: There are multiple ways to say this: touching reality, dogfooding, seeing for yourself, going to the front-lines, etc. Don’t just take someone’s word for it – go find out yourself by testing the feature, or listening to the agent call, or calling the customer, or executing the workflow. This is how you seek truth.
- Bring a tenacity and persistence to problem-solving: You’ll hit walls and find yourself in uncertain and unfamiliar situations. If you can sit with the uncertainty, look at the problem from new angles, and keep applying pressure to a problem – you’ll position yourself for breakthroughs.
- Bounce back from failure quickly: You’ll make mistakes, move in the wrong direction, and stumble from time-to-time. Just avoid big mistakes and don’t make the same mistakes twice, and learn from them quickly. Worry less about failing and more about losing momentum in your feedback loop. If you fail cheaply and quickly, that's worth the lesson/learning you get in return.
While performance on your case and interviews during the hiring process is the most important aspect of your candidacy, your years of relevant working experience will be taken into consideration for both (a) the work you’re placed into once hired and (b) compensation.
Please note: We are currently accepting applications only from candidates based in North America, South America or Europe. This role requires an overlap of at least 5 hours with the PST (UTC-8) time zone.
WHY JOIN CLIPBOARD?
- 100% Remote – Always. Work from anywhere in the world.
- Fast-Paced Startup Environment. Join a company that values curiosity, independence, and growth.
- A Hiring Process That Rewards Skills, Not Just Experience. Every applicant gets a fair shot—our selection is based on real-world problem-solving ability, not just credentials.
- Opportunity to make a significant impact with our workplace customers.

The role
You own operational procurement for a defined commodity/category of components end-to-end — from purchase order to component delivered to our factory, on time, in the right quantity and at the agreed quality. Because we run our own production across several manufacturing locations, you are the day-to-day single point of contact with your suppliers and the link between them and our Planning, Quality, Logistics and Finance teams.
We move fast, and our scope keeps growing and changing. We expect a strong getting-things-done attitude and hands-on. Own your issues end-to-end, stay close to the detail, and close them.
Key responsibilities:
Full order management, expedite / de-expedite and drive OTIF ≥ 97 % for your category (e.g., passive components, PCBs, semiconductors, mechanicals, plastics, raw materials, radio modules).
Manage shortages and escalations end-to-end; keep production running across our sites and stakeholders informed.
Own the day-to-day cost of your category — recommend solutions that optimise cost without compromising quality or delivery.
Visit suppliers and production sites as needed — including urgent cases and primary/quality inspections — to understand the process and strengthen good results and cooperation.
Uphold integrity in all supplier dealings — transparent, fair and free of conflicts of interest.
Drive process improvements and digitalisation within your scope.
What we expect:
8+ years as Commodity Buyer / Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist in a manufacturing environment — ideally supplying components to in-house production.
Solid command of the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process and a confident user of an ERP system + Excel
English at B2 level for daily work with international stakeholders across our manufacturing locations.
Ability to manage several projects and priorities at the same time, identifying problems and driving them to a result.
Strong getting-things-done attitude: ownership, sense of urgency, hands-on involvement, structured problem-solving, and flexibility for a growing and changing scope.
Willingness to travel to suppliers and production sites as required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or similar); a technical degree is a plus.
Hands-on SAP experience — a strong plus as we evaluate it for our procurement landscape.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Master’s degree in finance, engineering, or supply-chain / foreign-economic-activity.
