Location: USA - New York
From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt are building the open data infrastructure that powers AI agents you can trust.
Fivetran is looking for a Staff R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team. Your data stack was built for humans — but agents are the new primary data consumers, and they have fundamentally different requirements. Agents can’t intuit context; it must be explicitly codified, governed, and traceable. We’re building the governed context layer that solves this problem: Agents Schema, an open standard for storing agent-ready context directly in the customer’s own data warehouse, and Context Builder, the managed service that keeps it filled and fresh.
This role goes well beyond standard engineering. You’ll research emerging techniques in the fast-moving AI landscape and bring real product and market understanding to decide which ideas are worth pursuing — and then you’ll take what you’ve learned and ship it as production software. We’re looking for a true generalist who is willing and able to wear whatever hat the moment calls for: prototyping a new retrieval technique one week, hardening a backend service the next, then doing SRE or QA work when the team needs it. At this level, you’re expected to be a trusted expert beyond your own team — defining technical direction that other teams build on, taking high-level direction and turning it into concrete plans with a high degree of independence, and using sound judgment to decide what deserves your attention. Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range and ambiguity rather than staying in one lane.
Fivetran is the epitome of data-driven development — our engineering team is focused on building a world class product that:
Builds Infrastructure Agents Can Trust
— join our mission to deliver the governed context layer that AI agents depend on: accurate semantic definitions, traceable lineage, data contracts, and auditable history baked in from the start.
Embraces Open Standards
— help build portable, interoperable data infrastructure: Agents Schema, open formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake), MCP-native interfaces, and connector skills that work with any model and any compute.
Scales Without Breaking
— work to make Fivetran AI efficient at agent scale, where unit costs deflate as volume grows and context retrieval is fast, accurate, and cost-controlled.
We emphasize using no-nonsense tools and take great pride in the simplicity and effectiveness of the systems we build. Our back-end is built on Java, Python, Postgres, and Kubernetes, and our front-end is built on React and TypeScript.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our New York, NY office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Java, SQL, dbt, LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), vector databases, BigQuery / Snowflake / Databricks, MCP protocol, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and decide what’s actually worth pursuing for Fivetran AI’s roadmap — then convince others
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Define technical direction that spans multiple teams within Fivetran AI, ensuring architecture decisions made in one area don’t create problems in another
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Drive the AISQL capability forward: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability across the platform: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the system trustworthy at scale
Set the bar for testing and QA practices, and do hands-on QA work yourself when it matters most
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Take high-level direction from product and leadership and independently define and execute the concrete plan to get there
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the Fivetran AI team
Contribute to hiring by participating in and helping shape the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert beyond your own team, able to exert influence and define technical direction across multiple teams
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes, then production systems
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Track record of taking ambiguous, high-level direction and independently defining and executing the concrete work to deliver it
Experience with SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)
Genuine willingness to work across the full stack: research, backend, frontend, SRE, and QA, as the team’s needs demand
Writes well-structured, performant code and can dive into unfamiliar codebases to suggest improvements
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions beyond your immediate team
Thrives in a startup-like environment with shifting priorities and a high degree of ownership
Bonus Skills
Experience with LLM-powered applications — RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, or agent frameworks
Familiarity with semantic layers — dbt, LookML, Sigma, or similar
Experience with the MCP (Model Context Protocol) ecosystem or building AI agent integrations
Background in site reliability engineering — monitoring, alerting, incident response
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or building data connectors
Experienced working in a cloud environment utilizing AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Docker
Contributions to open source AI or data projects

We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why This Role?
We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Cohere's customer-facing Program Management team, with a focus on UK public sector and defence accounts. This is a highly specialised role requiring an individual who understands technical program delivery, the technical complexity of frontier AI models and the unique requirements of government and defence organisations.
You will be the critical bridge between our cutting-edge AI capabilities and the specific needs of UK Government and defence organisations.
Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.
Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and evaluate what’s actually relevant to Fivetran AI’s roadmap

Partner with product and design, bringing your own understanding of the AI tooling market to shape what gets built next
Develop software designs and contribute to the technical roadmap for the Fivetran AI platform
Contribute to hiring by participating in the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert in your subject area, capable of executing complex, ambiguous tasks with minimal hand-holding
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype

Location: USA - Austin (dbt)
Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.
Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Austin, TX office.
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and evaluate what’s actually relevant to Fivetran AI’s roadmap
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Contribute to the AISQL capability: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the platform trustworthy at scale
Write and maintain tests, and do hands-on QA to catch issues before customers do
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Analytical mindset to identify gaps in existing systems and design practical, pragmatic improvements

Location: France
Eligibility: Critically, this individual is required to be a French citizen living in France with fluency in French as this will enable immediate engagement with critical defence and national security customers.
Security Clearance: Active French Secret clearance is preferred; candidates eligible and willing to obtain clearance will also be considered.
What You'll Do
Customer Program Leadership:
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery for French and broader European public sector and defence customers, from initial deployment through production scaling

- Present technical roadmaps and status updates to senior stakeholders including departmental executives
- Represent Cohere's technical capabilities in sensitive government and defence contexts.
Complex Program Management:
- Create and manage project schedules that account for public sector and defence timelines, security review processes, and approval cycles
- Identify and manage dependencies across government departments, security authorities, cloud service providers, and internal Cohere teams
- Navigate risks unique to government and defence deployments: privacy compliance, security, political and regulatory, technology and infrastructure.
- Drive alignment between product development priorities and specific customer requirements.

What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't typical program management - it's a highly specialised role at the intersection of frontier AI, national security, and public sector digital transformation. You'll work on some of Canada's most sensitive and impactful AI deployments, helping government organisations harness cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics, and accountability.
If you're passionate about responsible AI adoption, understand the unique constraints and opportunities within government, and want to have an outsized impact on how Canada leverages AI to serve its citizens, this role is for you.

About Provectus
Provectus is an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner, working at the frontier of applied AI. We help enterprises turn Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into measurable business outcomes — through bespoke applications, managed services, and advisory engagements. With offices in North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we partner with clients worldwide.
Our work centers on two verticals — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we deploy five pre-built AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint rebuilds a critical business process front to back, shipped from working code and tuned to a client's specific book, regulators, and operating posture.
Our team holds 100+ AWS certifications, is Claude Code certified, and co-delivers Anthropic's Agentic SDLC program, Cowork Activation, and AI Blueprint engagements.
Where this role sits
You will work in a small, senior pod alongside an FDE and an FDX,
Forward Deployed Executives (FDX)
own the commercial relationship and the business outcome. Works alongside the client's leadership or C-suite level to move the client's KPIs.
Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE)
embed with a client, map the client workflow, identify the business problem underneath it, design and build a working AI solution, present to the client, and transfer the knowledge to the client's team. Owns technical direction of the whole solution.
Senior AI Engineer.
When an FDE comes back from the client with the business problem, you will help turn that into an agentic system that runs in production and will be responsible for evaluation, observability, and guardrails. You'll have real ownership of components and of the technical decisions inside them.
Requirements:
Mindset
Proactive and self-directed;
you push for clarity rather than waiting for a ticket
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership.
B2+ English, comfortable collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
Technical depth
5+ years in software or ML engineering, with production systems you were accountable for
.
Solid AI/ML foundations. You understand what the models do well enough to reason about failure modes.
Shipped to production LLM applications and agentic workflows — not demos, not POCs, not notebooks.
Agentic orchestration: multi-step workflows, graph-based orchestration, tool use, state management, and recovery from partial failure
Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI) and agent frameworks.
Experience building and optimizing RAG systems in production.
Strong engineering fundamentals. Full-stack mindset, comfortable across AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure. Python and/or TypeScript proficiency; depth matters more than stack.
Dropped into an unfamiliar codebase, you're productive.
Hands-on AWS in production: Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR, or similar. GCP or Azure is a plus.
Cloud-native delivery: containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD applied to AI pipelines.
You evaluate. You have built or owned an eval suite for a non-deterministic system, and you can explain what you measured, how you produced ground truth, and what gated a release.
Model and agent monitoring, drift detection.
Cost and latency discipline: model tiering, caching, and the ability to say what a workload costs to run before it runs.
Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem — Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, skills files. Spec-driven development — writing the intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before you let an agent build — is a strong plus.
MCP: you can say why an agent would prefer it to a REST integration. Having authored a server is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work in a pair with an FDE and an FDX.
Build and ship production GenAI systems into the customer’s environment (cloud-native data, LLM-based, and agentic AI solutions).
Build and optimize RAG systems for production use cases
Build the evaluation harness before you build the feature.
Write production code across the stack — AI, backend services, data pipelines. We choose tools to fit the customer.
Integrate AI components into backend services and RESTful APIs
Take systems to production on AWS (GCP or Azure where the customer requires it): containerised, CI/CD. Implement LLMOps and AgentOps practices: agent tracing, prompt and version management, cost and latency monitoring, regression testing, drift detection
Start from the blueprint, contribute to enablement and handover: clear documentation, runbooks, and pairing with the client engineers who will inherit the system. Feed reusable components and lessons back into the Provectus Blueprints
Participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions
Conduct model evaluation, improve failure modes you find, optimize model performance, efficiency, and reliability
Mentor junior and mid-level AI engineers, conduct code reviews and share knowledge across the team through documentation, presentations, and workshops.
Nice to Have:
Experience in one of the industries: financial services, insurance, healthcare.
Consulting, professional services, or other embedded customer-facing delivery.
AWS and Claude Code Certifications
A2A: you can explain agent-to-agent interoperability
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Practical experience with one or more use cases from the following: NLP, LLMs, and Recommendation engines.
Experience in an additional language (Go, TypeScript, or Rust).
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Kafkа
What We Offer:
The chance to shape how leading enterprises across LATAM, Europe, and North America adopt AI, from strategy through first deployment
A forward-deployed model working in small, senior teams alongside FDE and FDX
A growing AI delivery practice where you help build the tooling and frameworks, not just use them

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Bulgarian Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join a long-term.
As a Linguistic Tester, you’ll help bring high-quality Bulgarian content to life and ensure it feels natural, accurate, and polished for end users. Your main focus will be reviewing and refining localized content, making sure it reads smoothly and is free from errors. This includes checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual accuracy.
You’ll also work hands-on with products by executing test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting issues through internal bug-tracking systems. Once fixes are implemented, you’ll help verify that they’ve been resolved correctly. From time to time, you’ll also have the opportunity to translate content from English into Bulgarian. In addition, you’ll explore user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues, playing an important role in delivering a seamless and user-friendly experience.
This role is ideal for someone with native-level Bulgarian fluency, strong attention to detail, and an interest in quality assurance within digital products. If you’re looking for a stable, long-term role (no end date) where you can apply both your language expertise and technical skills, this is a great opportunity.
MAIN DUTIES
- Write and report relevant bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system.
- Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
- Native language skills and cultural awareness of Bulgarian and Bulgaria.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases.
- Discover and report defects (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools.
- Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
- Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Bulgarian; be able to research and resolve linguistic questions.
- Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.
- Troubleshoot basic problems; be able to communicate effectively and escalate testing issues.
- Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
👉 ABOUT THE ROLE
Product designers at Alan are at the forefront of building our product(s), taking them from inception to completion. They work hand in hand with product managers, researchers, and engineers to ensure we create meaningful and human experiences that improve the health of our members.
The community of designers is vibrant and inclusive; we are all learning, growing, and improving together!
As a product designer, you will:
- Develop a product vision and enable teams to explore, ideate, and experiment towards it. When required, you should be able to autonomously take product bets from zero to one.
- Communicate transversally and be a compelling storyteller, employing written visual and verbal techniques.
- Build an understanding of our members to nurture product thinking and transform insights into actionable opportunities.
- Maintain strong working relationships and collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers, from identifying problems and opportunities to finding solutions and delivering the product(s).
- Develop and evangelize design understanding and sensibility across the organization, improving ways of working and design processes.
- Mentor junior designers, increasing collective performance and quality across the team.
- Deliver a UI consistent with Alan’s brand with thoughtful design choices and a high-quality bar in delivering products.
- Contribute to the design system with components documentation for designers and engineers.
- Evaluate and maintain the quality of Alan’s product through continuous monitoring and testing.
✏️ Qualifications
- Based in (or within commuting distance of) one of our hubs (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid, or Barcelona), with the ability to work onsite twice per week.
- 5+ years of product design experience - You've designed and built products from concept to launch
- Track record of shipping quality products - You're experienced working within cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Design mentorship experience - You've coached and guided junior designers, helping them grow their skills and careers
- Full-stack design expertise - You have proven skills across UX research, UI design, and visual design, with the ability to deliver production-ready assets that developers can implement seamlessly
- Embrace of AI and other innovative tools - You're curious about and experienced with leveraging AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies
- Strong English communication - You're fluent in English and can collaborate effectively with our international team (French is a plus but not required)
🙌 Products or teams you may work on
You'll be designing the direct touch points that connect our members with their healthcare journey. Your work will focus on:
- Alan Clinic: When prevention alone is not enough, our members need the best care possible. That's what the Alan Clinic is for. 120 health professionals (and one AI) work behind the scenes to answer all our member's questions, consult in video, redirect you to the nearest hospital, interpret your lab results. And while it feels effortless for members, the logistics behind it are next level. We plan to grow the clinic further in the best medical suite of tools for both members and doctors.
- Alan Spain: We're building Alan's own health network from scratch in Spain, designed around the real needs of Spanish members: from navigating a fragmented system to accessing the right care at the right time. At the heart of it is Alan Flex, our subscription model that goes beyond insurance to become a true health companion for individuals and families.
🌍 HOW WE WORK
Location: You must be legally eligible to work from the EU
