Our Ethos
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
About the Team
You'll be the lead iOS engineer at Rain, owning mobile alongside the lead Android developer from the ground up. Our partners use Rain's issuance platform and APIs to power card programs, wallets, and payment experiences for their end users, and you'll be the person who brings those experiences to life on iOS. You'll work directly with product, design, and our platform engineering team to define what great mobile looks like for Rain's clients and their customers.
What you’ll do
- Own the entire iOS development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to App Store delivery
- Build polished, production-grade mobile apps that leverage Rain's issuance platform and APIs for clients and their end users
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define the mobile roadmap and translate platform capabilities into intuitive native experiences
- Architect a clean, scalable codebase that can serve as the foundation as the mobile team grows
- Integrate with Rain's APIs for card issuance, transaction management, balance queries, and other payment flows
- Implement secure authentication, tokenization, and data handling appropriate for a financial services context
- Drive decisions on tooling, frameworks, CI/CD, and testing strategy for mobile
- Contribute to the broader engineering culture as an early team member with outsized influence on how we build
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- 4–10 years of professional mobile development experience, with multiple apps shipped to the App Store
- Proficiency in Swift and deep familiarity with Apple's frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Core Data, etc.)
- Experience architecting iOS apps from scratch. You've made foundational decisions on project structure, navigation patterns, state management, and dependency injection
- Solid understanding of networking layers, RESTful API integration, and secure data handling
- A disciplined approach to code quality: you write testable code, value code review, and care about maintainability
- Comfort working autonomously with minimal direction — you'll be the mobile expert in the room
- Strong product sensibility: you think beyond tickets and advocate for great user experiences
- Excellent communication skills; you can translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders
Bonus attributes:
- Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto/web3
- Familiarity with card issuance, wallet UX, or financial transaction flows
- Experience with WKWebView-based hybrid architectures or embedded SDK patterns
- Background in building white-label or multi-tenant mobile experiences
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise, etc.)
- Experience being the first or early mobile hire at a startup

GiveWell’s mission is to help people in need as much as we can by researching the most cost‑effective ways to save and improve lives, sharing our work openly, and directing donations to the programs we believe will do the most good. Our work, which focuses on global health and well-being, is funded by tens of thousands of donors who rely on our research to inform their giving. We’ve grown from directing $1.5 million in 2010 to directing more than $400 million in 2025. We anticipate our total grantmaking is likely to approach or even exceed $1 billion this year, and we are working toward a future that could be several times that scale. Through years of deliberate groundwork, we’ve been growing our research capacity and scope in order to direct substantially more funding to the most impactful opportunities we can find.
Summary
GiveWell's senior research staff are the key decision makers for hundreds of millions of dollars in grantmaking, and we think growing that team is one of the most important things we can do to increase our impact. We're seeking one or more Senior Recruiters to help us do that.
Finding senior research staff is a hard problem for a couple reasons:
The talent pool for GiveWell researchers basically doesn’t exist as a defined group. You can’t go to one type of program, industry, or a few obvious competitors to build a reliable pipeline. The people who succeed here come from a wide range of backgrounds — economics PhDs, policy analysts, management consultants, medical doctors, neuroscientists, primate biologists, etc. — and the roles don't have clean analogues elsewhere. What they share is a set of hard-to-measure cognitive skills and quantitative fluency that doesn’t show up reliably on resumes.
Our process is very competitive. The offer rate for senior research roles is less than one in a thousand.
We want you to figure out where to find strong candidates, improve our assessment process, and do the hands-on work of sourcing, screening, and closing offers. You'll work very closely with our research leadership team. We're most excited about finding someone who helps us make better decisions about finding great talent — and hire them faster.
The role
You'd work closely with our manager, research recruiting and the team to own recruiting for some of our
Researcher
, Program Officer,
Senior Researcher
, and Senior Program Officer roles. A few problems we’ll want you to think about:
After candidates apply, is our assessment process effective?
Our offer rate for senior roles is below 0.1%. That might mean we’re extremely selective. It might also mean we’re losing good candidates somewhere in the funnel. You’ll dig into our data and find answers (How well do early screening scores predict work trial performance? What are the most common rejection reasons, and are they signal or noise? How did past hires actually turn out?). You’ll help us develop good heuristics about what to do in situations when candidates’ signals are mixed.
Where do we even find good candidates?
The ideal GiveWell researcher doesn’t come from one degree program, industry, or competitor. You’ll think about where to look and go after them. And you’ll continually develop new pipelines with creative methods (running structured referral conversations with our researchers, scouring conference guest lists, using sourcing tools creatively, or maybe vibe-coding your own).
How can we use data to make better decisions?
Right now, we don’t have great visibility into which sourcing channels, process changes, or pipeline stages are driving results. You’ll track data, run analyses, and help us make evidence-based decisions about where to put effort. In some cases, you might find out that we don’t have the right data architecture to answer important questions, so you’ll build it.
What are ways our hiring process could be much better?
This is harder to describe because it covers ~every strategic and tactical question we face. We want you to be thinking about all of it. Things like: Are we overweighting particular qualities and losing promising candidates without noticing? How could we run experiments on our hiring processes (randomization, A/B testing, sourcing campaigns) that actually give us useful information?
You’ll also do a fair amount of bread-and-butter recruiting work: screening applications, writing outreach emails, and interviewing candidates. We think that sort of work will keep you close to the data and help you develop strong pattern recognition.
About you
You’re excited about GiveWell's mission and methods.
You think GiveWell is doing something special, not just generically “doing good.” You can explain what makes GiveWell different.
You’re careful and truth-seeking with your beliefs.
For example, if a hiring manager says we need to find “scrappy” people, you’re likely to ask “Why do you believe that?” or “What does scrappy mean?” instead of uncritically agreeing. You’re quick to update your beliefs by picking up new information and asking sharper questions. You can probably tell us about times when you’ve changed your mind about important things.
You're unusually curious and analytical.
When you get invested in a question, you keep trying to find the right answer after many other people would have stopped. You ground your beliefs in data when possible and hedge appropriately when you’re not confident.
You have very high standards.
We have a high competence bar for our research team, and you’ll need to uphold that and own your decisions about applications that do and don’t meet our bar.
You’re entrepreneurial and high agency.
You figure things out. You have a history of solving problems. You’re very resourceful. You’re more likely to make the mistake of moving too fast than moving too slow. You'd rather try something imperfect and learn from it than wait for a perfect plan.
You're direct.
You say what you actually think even when it's uncomfortable.
You’re good at communicating in writing.
You're concise, clear, and you don't hide behind jargon. You probably enjoy an effective memo.
If you think people who know you well would agree that many of the qualities above describe you, we’d like you to apply.
Qualifications
We care much more about the qualities described above than any specific background. That said, some things that might help:
Experience in recruiting, talent operations, research operations, or a generalist role at a mission-driven organization
Comfort with data — spreadsheets and basic quantitative analysis
Strong written communication
Experience working closely with executive-level leadership
Familiarity with global health, development economics, effective altruism, or adjacent fields is a plus but not required
Recruiting experience is welcome but not required. Some of the best people in comparable roles at peer organizations came in without it. And we’ll support you if you want to move on to other things at GiveWell after making progress on our research recruiting. There's always a place here for generalists who are good at solving hard problems, and we have a history of developing high performers into different roles across our org.
Key Questions
What are some of the reasons I might not like this role?
GiveWell has a unique approach to hiring,
and it’s possible that you’ll dislike it. For example, we tend to lean heavily into work trials and finding empirical evidence about the candidates we hire. We are rigorous in how we evaluate candidates, and hold really high standards, which can lead to longer hiring rounds with more steps than what is typical elsewhere. We’re extremely quality focused and would rather hold out for the right candidate than settle on someone who’s “mostly right.”
You’ll need to deeply understand our work and culture to succeed.
We want you to be able to speak with candidates about our work and what makes GiveWell special, and provide useful input to hiring managers when we’re developing assessments and evaluating candidates.
You will be expected to hunt, not just farm.
While we receive a high volume of inbound applicants, we are looking for recruiters who effectively source and attract candidates, not just wait for them to trickle in.
You’ll be collaborating with leaders with high expectations.
We’re a founder-led, performance-driven culture and you’ll be collaborating with our executive team regularly in this role. Strong partnerships will depend on you building trust, leading with curiosity, and reliably delivering results.
You’ll be running hiring rounds from start to finish.
We consider this a full-lifecycle role, which means you should be comfortable with things like scheduling, building out roles in Greenhouse, and day-to-day coordination with candidates. While you might have support from more junior colleagues, you’ll be expected to capably manage your own pipelines.
What does growth look like in this role?
GiveWell’s growing, and you’re going to help shape that. Your growth will be tied directly to the impact created by the people you help hire. Beyond day-to-day recruiting, you’ll have the opportunity to work on more strategic projects, including shaping our overall hiring approach and improving our employer brand. In this role you’ll also have significant exposure to executive leadership and many corners of our business. The talent acquisition team is doubling in 2026, which means there are clear opportunities for mentorship and potentially growing into a team leader.
What does this interview process entail?
We'll use a combination of interviews, written exercises, and work trials to assess the qualities described above. Past versions have looked like:
Simulating a hiring manager intake conversation
Walking through a sourcing strategy for a hard-to-fill role
Reviewing a job description or process and offering a critique
Writing a candidate outreach email or internal communication
We'll share more specific details if we invite you to move forward, but our current plan is:
Screen with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
Career history interview with the Manager, Talent Acquisition
Work trial, which will include live conversations and written work
Values interview with VP, People
Final conversation with Manager, Talent Acquisition

Team structure
This role sits on GiveWell's People team and reports to our Manager of Talent Acquisition. Day-to-day, you'd work in close partnership with our Research Program Director, who owns senior research hiring decisions and is part of our Research Leadership Team. You'd collaborate regularly with other members of the People and Research teams on sourcing and candidate evaluation.
We'll likely also want you to attend research team meetings, develop 1:1 relationships with research team members, and potentially join research team-building retreats. We’ll be interested in ~any kind of team embedding that helps you build useful context.
The details
Compensation:
NYC or the San Francisco Bay Area: $149,600

About GiveWell
GiveWell is dedicated to finding and evaluating highly cost-effective global health and development opportunities, and we publish all the work, reasoning, and uncertainties behind our funding decisions. Our
giving funds
enable donors to contribute to the most impactful and cost-effective programs our researchers identify.
GiveWell is one of the world’s largest private funders of global development efforts. Trusted annually by tens of thousands of donors, GiveWell searches for highly cost-effective programs that save or improve lives the most. Since 2007, more than 150,000 donors have given over $2.6 billion through GiveWell to the most promising programs its research has identified, which we estimate will save more than
340,000 lives
.
GiveWell is most well-known for recommending a small number of
Top Charities
, which currently support
seasonal malaria chemoprevention
,
insecticide-treated nets
,
vaccine incentivization
, and
vitamin A supplementation
. However, most of our research capacity and grantmaking is devoted to
cost-effective opportunities outside of those programs
.
GiveWell
grants
have:
Helped governments
navigate changes to the funding landscape
and implement high-impact health programs, like
HIV/syphilis screening and treatment
for pregnant people in Zambia and Cameroon.
Sought to scope and scale promising interventions that don’t have clear existing implementers. We are supporting the
Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Incubator
to identify potentially cost-effective interventions and create programs that we would be excited to support in the future. For example, we
funded a program
to prevent tuberculosis among young children in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India, that we co-designed with CHAI through the Incubator program.
Provided funding to ensure that programs that recently faced foreign aid funding cuts could continue, like
healthcare support and malnutrition treatment
in northern Cameroon.
Funded program delivery alongside strengthened monitoring and evaluation, as in our grants to support
treatment of clubfoot
and to
evaluate the program
.
Tested our
assumptions and refined our understanding
through further research and data collection, including
improved estimates of disease burden
and studies on
the effect of water chlorination on mortality
and
the impact of a tree-planting program on farmers’ income
.
We make our reasoning public and transparent so others can challenge it (sometimes we even
pay people to point out our errors
). We go to unusual lengths to check our assumptions and assess our impact, including
funding research
to address our uncertainties and gathering
independent monitoring and evaluation data
about the programs we support. We
change
our minds when the evidence demands it. For more about GiveWell, listen to Ezra Klein’s
recent interview
with GiveWell’s co-founder and CEO Elie Hassenfeld.
Additional information
We don’t want to miss candidates that could do great things at GiveWell. Practically, that means a GiveWell staff member reviews every application carefully, considering the whole picture of your background and potential. If you’re on the fence about applying because you meet some but not 100% of our preferred qualifications (some studies suggest this hesitation is especially common for women and people of color), we encourage you to apply anyway.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The Growth team's job is to keep Anthropic on the exponential by getting more people and companies using and paying for Claude. Growth Data Scientists partner closely with growth product managers, engineers and marketers on experimentation, opportunity sizing, strategic analysis, metrics and personalization.
We're hiring for two focus areas within this posting. Tell us in your application which one fits you best, or if you're excited about both:
Growth generalist:
a strong generalist across marketing and product who drives experimentation, opportunity sizing, marketing measurement and strategic analysis.
Personalization:
building and evaluating the models and experiments that pick the right message, offer or product experience for each user, across lifecycle marketing, onboarding and in-product experiences.
We work in an AI-native way. Much of our analysis, reporting and experiment work is done with Claude as a collaborator, and we expect you to push that further.
Responsibilities
Across both focus areas, you will:
Design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments across activation, retention and monetization, and turn the results into a clear call on what to ship
Define systems of metrics and guardrails that tie short-term wins to long-term value
Present analyses and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, leading with the decision and keeping the numbers in support
In the Growth generalist focus, you will also:
Size opportunities and make the case for what Growth should work on next
Measure the incrementality of paid and lifecycle marketing with holdouts, geo experiments and other causal methods, and turn the results into budget and channel recommendations
Tie acquisition and lifecycle programs to long-term value (LTV, CAC and payback)
In the Personalization focus, you will also:
Build and ship targeting and personalization models that decide which users get which message, offer or experience, working closely with growth product managers and engineers
Design the tests that evaluate and iterate on our personalization strategy, including holdouts, bandits and off-policy estimates where A/B tests aren't practical
You may be a good fit if you have
7+ years of experience in data science, with significant time on growth, marketing, lifecycle or personalization problems
Deep expertise in experimental design and causal inference, including A/B testing at scale, holdouts and quasi-experimental methods when randomization isn't available
Experience analyzing growth funnels: acquisition, activation, retention and monetization
Proficiency with Python and SQL
Clear written communication, and a track record of recommendations that changed priorities or what a team built
A bias for action and comfort in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
An interest in Anthropic's mission of building safe and beneficial AI
For the Growth generalist focus, we're also looking for:
Experience measuring marketing: incrementality testing, holdouts or geo experiments, and LTV/CAC for paid or lifecycle programs
For the Personalization focus, we're also looking for:
Hands-on experience building and shipping machine learning models that drive user-facing decisions (targeting, ranking, recommendation or personalization)
Strong candidates may also have
Experience defining activation metrics and lifecycle measurement for a product-led business
Experience with experimentation platforms and meta-analysis across experiment portfolios
Background at consumption-based, multi-product companies serving both consumers and enterprises
Experience using LLMs or coding agents in your own analytical workflow
Experience with marketing mix modeling, geo experiments or synthetic controls
Experience running contextual bandits, uplift models or similar decision systems in production
Experience with lifecycle or CRM personalization (email, push, in-product messaging) and its measurement problems, such as global holdouts and interference between campaigns
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$285,000
—
$380,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

As a Transformative AI Research Economist at Anthropic, you will build macroeconomic models of AI that could be genuinely transformative and develop the scenario-based forecasting tools that let us reason quantitatively about economic trajectories with no historical precedent. You will work on questions of aggregate growth, income distribution, and economic governance under scenarios that most of the profession has not yet modeled seriously.
You will ground projections in microeconomic signals from the
Anthropic Economic Index
— usage patterns across millions of real-world AI interactions, surfaced through privacy-preserving measurement — so that scenario forecasts are disciplined by what we actually observe about task transformation and productivity. You will use frontier methods in growth theory, computational macro, and structural estimation, and contribute to AI-powered tools that expand what economic research can do.
Our team combines rigorous empirical methods with novel measurement approaches. We're building first-of-its-kind datasets tracking AI's impact on labor markets, productivity, and economic transformation. Using our

Anthropic is investing $50 billion in American computing infrastructure, including datacenters custom-built for our workloads, and this role sits at the heart of that effort. As a Staff Engineer on the Datacenter Server Lifecycle team, you will own the end-to-end operational journey of every machine in our datacenters – from initial provisioning and deployment, steady-state operation, maintenance, and repair.
This is greenfield work: you will help define the services, tooling, standards and processes that govern how we operate critical hardware at scale, powering frontier model development and serving. You will have the opportunity to define AI-native workflows for datacenter operations and to help drive innovations on efficiency, performance, and reliability.
A distinguishing aspect of this role is its deep intersection with security. The machines in our datacenter handle some of the most sensitive workloads in AI – training frontier models and serving millions of users interacting with Claude. Ensuring that every machine in the fleet is trusted, attested, and operating with a verified chain of integrity from the hardware up is a core part of the job, not an afterthought. You will partner closely with our Infrastructure Security team to define and enforce trusted compute standards across the lifecycle, from secure provisioning through end-of-life handling.
Key responsibilities
Build automation to support datacenter fleets at scale.
Define and own the end-to-end system lifecycle strategy – from provisioning and deployment through operation, maintenance, refresh, and decommissioning – and maintain automation and operational procedures for common lifecycle events (e.g., hardware failures, firmware upgrades, fleet rotations).
Partner closely with Infrastructure Security to design and enforce trusted compute standards across the server lifecycle.
Work closely with our Networking team to ensure end-to-end connectivity across all sites.
Build and maintain tooling to track machine health, configuration, and operational status across the full datacenter fleet.
Minimum qualifications
Hands-on experience with server hardware, including rack deployment, cabling, troubleshooting, and understanding failure modes at scale.
End-to-end understanding of hardware lifecycle management: asset tracking, provisioning workflows, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning practices.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Rust, Go, or Java).
Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes and large scale cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
Ability to communicate clearly and build consensus with a wide range of stakeholders.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and making progress on complex, cross-functional problems.
Willingness to travel occasionally to datacenter sites across North America.
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of experience in datacenter infrastructure management, or a closely related discipline.
Hands-on experience with GPU or AI accelerator hardware (e.g., NVIDIA A100/H100, Google TPUs, or AWS Trainium) and an understanding of their operational demands.
Familiarity with modern provisioning and OS tooling such as LinuxBoot and NixOS
Experience building or contributing to datacenter automation or fleet management platforms.
Experience building and deploying server operating system distributions across large server fleets.
Background in large-scale capacity planning and hardware refresh strategy, ideally at a hyperscaler or large cloud provider.
Experience with trusted compute and hardware security concepts such as secure boot, TPM, hardware attestation, and firmware verification — or a strong desire to develop deep expertise in this area.

Anthropic exists to ensure the world safely navigates the transition through transformative AI. That work is funded by commercial revenue — and every dollar of it runs through Billing Platform. We build and operate the infrastructure that turns product usage into revenue across everything Anthropic ships:
Claude.ai
, the Developer Platform, Claude Code, and whatever comes next. The faster we can price it, charge for it, and account for it correctly, the faster Anthropic can fund the mission.
We’re looking for a software engineer to join Billing. Depending on where you land, you might be building the integration contracts product teams plug into so they can launch a paid SKU without becoming billing experts, automating the quote-to-cash lifecycle so enterprise deals don’t bottleneck on manual ops, or building the reconciliation and data foundations that keep every revenue number trustworthy at audit time. This is production-critical infrastructure where correctness is non-negotiable — a rounding error here is a revenue discrepancy somewhere else — and you’ll work closely with Finance, Product, Sales, and Accounting to build systems that scale with the business.
What you’ll do
Design and ship billing capabilities end to end — pricing primitives, payment flows, contract and entitlement models, revenue data pipelines — depending on the surface area you own.
Build for correctness first. Billing data is financial data; you’ll develop the instincts for where idempotency, reconciliation, and audit trails matter and where they don’t.
Own the interfaces. Whether it’s the billing API a product team integrates against or the revenue dataset Finance closes the books on, you’ll design contracts that hide the complexity and hold up under change.
Make build-vs-buy calls. We lean heavily on third-party billing, payment, and tax platforms, and you’ll decide where to extend them and where to build our own primitives around them.
Own the payments stack. Authorization rates and retry logic so a good card doesn’t silently decline, processing cost as a real number you drive down, automated dispute response, and fraud controls that stop bad actors without blocking real customers.
Drive down the manual work. Enterprise contract amendments, pricing config changes, billing support escalations — a lot of it is still human-in-the-loop, and closing that gap is a direct line to scale.
Operate what you ship. You’ll own SLOs on customer-facing flows, instrument the revenue pipeline so discrepancies surface before month-end close, and be on the hook when it pages.
Partner across the company. Growth wants promotional mechanics, Sales wants quote flexibility, Finance wants GAAP-clean data, product teams want it yesterday — you’ll help thread that needle.
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years building backend or platform systems in production, 3+ years leading large scale, complex projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead
Have a track record of shipping in fast-moving environments where the requirements shift under you and you still land something correct and maintainable.
Care about correctness and data integrity as first-class design concerns, not afterthoughts — and know how to build systems that are easy to reason about when money is on the line.
Enjoy cross-functional work. Billing sits between Product, Finance, Sales, and Legal, and a lot of the job is translating between those worlds.
Strong candidates may also have
Built billing, payments, subscription, or fintech systems before — and know firsthand how a small pricing change ripples through the whole stack.
Direct experience integrating or extending third-party billing and payment platforms, and opinions on where they fall short.
Worked on revenue reconciliation, financial reporting pipelines, or systems that had to survive an audit.
Experience with enterprise commerce — CPQ, quote-to-cash, contract management, or the operational side of B2B billing.
Owned payments optimization in a self-serve or PLG environment — authorization rates, payment cost, fraud, chargebacks — and know what it takes to move those numbers without breaking the good customers.

About The Opportunity
OKX is building local exchange businesses from the ground up across multiple emerging and high-growth markets. We are looking for a product leader who has driven a complete 0-to-1 cycle in a priority overseas market — someone who will own the product strategy and local growth playbook for a specific region or country, and be directly accountable for product competitiveness and business growth outcomes in that market.
This role sits at the intersection of the Local business team and Global product and engineering. You'll go deep into the local market — translating user profiles, regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics into product and growth strategies — while driving Global product and engineering resources to deliver locally, ensuring the product experience and competitiveness actually take off on the ground.
We are not prescriptive about which specific region you've built in previously — LatAm, Southeast Asia, Turkey, MENA, or others are all relevant. What matters is that you have personally built a business in an emerging market, closed the growth loop, and can transfer that methodology to OKX's priority regions.
This is a product leadership role, not a country general manager role — but you need to operate with near business-owner accountability: responsible for the region's core growth metrics and product competitiveness, not just shipping features.
What You’ll Be Doing
Regional Product Strategy & Local Growth Planning
Own product strategy and local growth planning for a specific region or country, working across the Local business team and Global product and engineering to be directly accountable for local product competitiveness and business growth outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of local user profiles, legal and regulatory frameworks, competitive landscapes, and cultural nuances, and translate these into a comprehensive product competition strategy and channel growth strategy with clear prioritization.
Continuously track the local crypto and fintech ecosystem — with a focus on global players and regional leaders across exchanges and fintech — as well as macro factors such as inflation, currency depreciation, and cross-border remittance demand that shape user trading behavior.
Local Product Experience & Competitiveness
Own the end-to-end local product experience and competitiveness, covering onboarding, fiat deposit, market analysis, trading, and earn — the core stages of the user journey.
Build a comprehensive local product feedback loop — from user behavior data and funnel analysis, to local user feedback collection — to identify key bottlenecks and high-leverage opportunities in conversion, retention, and engagement, and drive iterative improvement.
Adapt to local market characteristics (inflation-driven demand, competitor switching costs, payment method preferences, etc.) to reduce drop-off from registration to first trade and shorten time-to-first-trade.
Channel Growth & Cross-team Collaboration
Work with local teams to identify effective user acquisition channels; lead the discovery, introduction, integration, and scaling of high-impact channels.
Leverage your local network — KOLs, fintech partners, payment providers, regulatory contacts — to accelerate market entry and growth.
Collaborate closely with regional BD, Marketing, Operations, and Global product and engineering to ensure product initiatives align with local growth objectives.
What We Look For In You
0-to-1 business building and growth experience in an emerging market
(e.g., LatAm, Southeast Asia, Turkey, MENA, or similar) — you can clearly articulate the regional metrics you owned and the business outcomes you delivered. You held a product, strategy, or growth role during the early stage of an international expansion at a tech company or at a high-growth local champion in the region.
Comprehensive business growth and user growth methodology
— you have fully owned a user funnel (acquisition → activation → retention) and can speak to results with data: CAC, activation rates, D7/D30 retention, LTV, reactivation. Your work was growth experimentation and product intervention, not just media buying.
Strong product management capability
— you can define product strategy and success metrics, prioritize a roadmap, drive A/B testing, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver. This is a product leadership role, not a GM or pure growth marketing role.
Proven cross-functional collaboration
— able to drive alignment across teams (design, engineering, data, commercial), manage external partnerships, and navigate regulatory conversations. Effective at aligning resources between Local and Global organizations.
Deep local market knowledge and an established local network
— you understand local user behaviors, payment ecosystems (e.g., PIX, SPEI, Mercado Pago, UPI, GCash, DANA, M-Pesa, depending on region), regulatory environments, and competitive dynamics. You have partners, KOLs, and industry relationships in the region that you can activate.
Consumer product management experience
in fintech, crypto, or trading preferred. Candidates with experience managing or mentoring product teams will be considered for the Senior Product Director level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus for effective collaboration with HQ teams.
Nice-To-Haves
Proficiency in a local language relevant to the target region (Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic, Turkish, etc.).
Crypto exchange product experience — spot/derivatives trading, order types, fee structures, token listings, and fiat on/off-ramp flows.
Familiarity with local payment rails and fiat-to-crypto conversion flows in emerging markets.
Hands-on trading experience in FX, equities, or crypto.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking Software Engineers to join our Observability team within the Infrastructure organization. The Observability team owns the monitoring and telemetry infrastructure that every engineer and researcher at Anthropic depends on, from metrics and logging pipelines to distributed tracing, profiling, error analytics, alerting, and the dashboards and query interfaces that make it all actionable. By joining this team, you'll have a direct impact on the reliability and operational excellence of Anthropic's research and product systems.
As Anthropic scales its infrastructure across large GPU, TPU, and Trainium clusters, the volume and complexity of operational data is growing by orders of magnitude, and an increasing share of the most challenging problems live below the application layer. We're building next-generation observability systems, including high-throughput telemetry pipelines, fleet-wide continuous profiling, eBPF-based tracing and network visibility, and agentic diagnostic tools, so engineers can detect, diagnose, and resolve issues in minutes rather than hours, even when the answer lies in the kernel, the network stack, or an accelerator rather than on a dashboard.
Key responsibilities
Design and build scalable telemetry ingest and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and error data across Anthropic's multi-cluster infrastructure
Build observability solutions that give engineers deep, low-overhead visibility into system behavior across the fleet
Own and evolve core observability platforms, leading migrations and architectural improvements that improve reliability, reduce cost, and scale with organizational growth
Build instrumentation libraries, SDKs, and eBPF-based auto-instrumentation to emit high-quality telemetry, with and without code changes
Reduce mean time to detection and resolution by building cross-signal correlation (from kernel-level events up to application traces), unified query interfaces, and AI-assisted diagnostic tooling
Improve fleet-wide efficiency by turning continuous profiling and utilization telemetry into actionable optimization insights across CPU, memory, and accelerator fleets
Partner with Research, Inference, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure observability solutions meet the unique needs of each organization
Minimum qualifications
Experience building and operating large-scale observability or monitoring infrastructure
Hands-on experience with observability signals end to end, from instrumentation through ingest to query and analysis
Understanding of high-throughput telemetry pipelines and the tradeoffs involved in collecting, storing, and querying operational data at scale
Comfort debugging below the application layer, in the kernel, the network stack, or the hardware
Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with internal teams to improve their operational visibility and incident response capabilities
Ability to work independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
Preferred qualifications
Experience building or operating eBPF-based observability in production, such as tracing, profiling, or network visibility
Experience running continuous profiling at fleet scale, including managing overhead budgets and symbolization
Kernel- and syscall-level debugging experience and performance engineering skills
Experience profiling or instrumenting accelerator workloads
Experience operating metrics systems at very high cardinality, or large-scale telemetry storage backends
Experience with log storage migrations or operating columnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse, BigQuery) for analytics workloads
Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation, collector pipelines, and tail-based sampling strategies
Interest in applying AI/LLMs to operational workflows such as automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, or intelligent alerting
Enthusiasm for building foundational infrastructure

Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.

As the Sales Manager for Life Sciences at Anthropic, you’ll lead the foundational team introducing our frontier AI platform to the medtech ecosystem, spanning medical device, diagnostics, and digital health manufacturers. You’ll build and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives who drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with large medical device companies, diagnostics providers, and emerging medtech innovators. You’ll bring deep domain fluency in how medical devices are designed, validated, cleared or approved, manufactured, and monitored in the field to coach your team’s consultative sales approach, while becoming a trusted advisor yourself to senior medtech stakeholders, helping them embed and deploy AI across the product lifecycle from design and development through post-market surveillance. In collaboration with Product and Marketing, you’ll continuously refine the team’s value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to resonate with decision-makers across each medtech sub-segment.
The ideal candidate has a passion for developing new market segments within medtech, pinpointing high-potential opportunities across engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, clinical, and commercial functions, and building a team that can execute strategies to capture them. By driving deployment of Anthropic’s emerging products across medtech organizations, you’ll help them bring safer, better devices to patients faster while advancing the ethical development of AI.
Key responsibilities
Build and lead a specialized team of Strategic Account Executives covering medical device, diagnostics, and digital health accounts, setting growth targets by sub-segment and coaching reps through the full sales cycle from outbound to close
Design and oversee sales strategies tailored to the distinct procurement cycles of medtech, including product development and engineering budgets, quality and regulatory compliance investment, manufacturing and supply chain programs, commercial and field organization budgets, and enterprise IT and digital transformation programs, translating market and trend analysis into account plans and campaigns that meet and exceed team revenue targets
Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities across product design and development, design controls and verification and validation, regulatory affairs and submissions, quality management and CAPA, manufacturing and supply chain, clinical evidence generation, complaint handling and post-market surveillance, and commercial and reimbursement functions, partnering cross-functionally to differentiate Anthropic’s offering for medtech use cases
Run a disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence across the team, managing an evolving sales process to deliver predictable, coachable performance against quota
Serve as Anthropic’s domain expert across the medtech value chain, including device design and development, software as a medical device, regulatory submissions (510(k), PMA, De Novo, EU MDR), quality systems, manufacturing, post-market surveillance and vigilance reporting, and commercial launch, and translate that expertise into repeatable playbooks, frameworks, and go-to-market strategies your team and the broader field organization can scale
Partner directly with C-suite and senior functional leaders (CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, Chief Quality Officers, CMOs, CCOs, and Heads of R&D, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs) across medtech organizations to design multi-year AI transformation roadmaps and build long-term trusted advisor relationships
Partner closely with Product and Applied AI to translate feedback from design engineers, regulatory and quality professionals, manufacturing teams, clinical affairs, and commercial teams into product and roadmap input, strengthening Anthropic’s value proposition across the segment
Build strategic relationships with medtech-focused system integrators, technology vendors (including QMS, PLM, and ERP providers), contract manufacturers, and industry organizations to scale go-to-market capabilities
Establish Anthropic’s position as the AI partner of choice across medtech through conference presentations, white papers, case studies, and participation in industry forums
Codify learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices, partnering with Marketing and Enablement to scale winning use cases and proof points across medtech accounts
Minimum qualifications
10+ years of experience in life sciences, with at least 5 years specifically selling into or working within medical device, diagnostics, or medtech organizations (R&D, engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, or commercial functions, or related consulting)
Experience in leadership roles managing or coaching enterprise sales teams, with a track record of driving measurable revenue outcomes in medtech or adjacent life sciences settings
Deep understanding of medtech business models, operations, and economics, including the device product lifecycle, the regulatory environment (FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and QMSR, ISO 13485, EU MDR, IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 11), and competitive dynamics
A track record of managing or overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within medtech organizations, securing strategic deals by understanding both technical requirements and engineering, regulatory, quality, and commercial use cases
Proven experience exceeding revenue targets by effectively managing a team’s pipeline and an evolving sales process
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present confidently across medtech audiences, from design engineers and quality and regulatory leaders to C-suite executives
A genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and motivation to advance Anthropic’s mission of building safe, beneficial AI
Preferred qualifications
Deep understanding of buying cycles, decision-making processes, and key pain points across multiple medtech sub-segments (e.g., large device manufacturers, diagnostics, digital health and SaMD) and across functions (engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, commercial)
A strategic, analytical approach to assessing the medtech market, paired with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities and a willingness to roll up sleeves on deals alongside the team
Experience developing and refining AI use cases in collaboration with customers and channel partners, spanning design and development, regulatory and quality documentation, manufacturing, post-market surveillance, or commercial functions
Experience building or scaling a specialized sales team from an early stage
Passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems and their applications in medical devices and diagnostics, with strong conviction around safe, ethical development of AI in these contexts

About the role:
We are hiring our first Tokyo-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day to day. Additionally, you’ll help us identify – and close – gaps in our team’s technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale.
This role requires native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, as candidates will support both Japanese-speaking customers and those across APAC/ANZ in English.
Note: Specialists in Tokyo will work 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Become an expert in all Anthropic products
Respond to user support cases, in English and Japanese, with a variety of complexity, from simple billing or account questions for individuals to complex API debugging for large businesses
Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model to assisting consumer users in a rapid pace
Manage on-call tasks for high-urgency user issues with extreme ownership. This includes being on critical ‘pager duty’ during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 Support for Critical Queries.
Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape
Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations
Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale
Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates
Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in providing technical product support, in both English and Japanese, within a second tier, escalated, or priority support team.
Are familiar with APIs and technical SaaS products and can deeply understand technical docs with ease
Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g. CSAT, SLA, etc.)
Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution
Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details
Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts
Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward
Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team – this is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work. And particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC.
Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products
Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team!
