FP Markets Group of Companies
is a well-established multi-regulated broker, founded in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Paid Social & Mobile App Growth Manager.
You will own two of our biggest growth levers: paid social across web and app, and mobile app growth from install to first-time deposit (FTD). Sitting in the Growth Team (Global Paid Growth), you will set strategy, run a multi-channel budget and decide each month where spend goes, web sign-ups or app installs, based on cost per FTD and return on ad spend (ROAS). You will own the numbers from impression to FTD and beyond.
How success is measured
Leads and FTDs from paid social (web) and from the app, by source and region.
Cost per install, cost per registration and CPA per FTD against target, by region and platform.
Install-to-FTD conversion rate.
30 / 90-day ROAS on web and app cohorts.
Spend within the approved monthly budget.
App store conversion rate (page view to install), keyword rankings and average rating.
Responsibilities
Strategy and budget
Own the paid social and mobile app acquisition strategy, budget and forecast across all target regions.
Decide each month how spend splits between web and app objectives, based on cost per FTD, ROAS and install-to-FTD conversion.
Manage monthly budget pacing with Marketing Operations, reallocating spend weekly based on CPA, ROAS and cohort quality, and report performance against objectives.
Paid social (web and app)
Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn and Reddit, for both web leads and app installs.
Own account structure, audiences, bidding and campaign naming across all paid social platforms.
Optimise beyond installs and leads to registration, KYC completion and FTD, using value-based and event-based bidding.
Run a continuous creative testing programme with the Creative and Content teams: briefs (video, playables, static, store assets), variants, learnings and fatigue tracking.
Mobile app acquisition
Plan, launch and optimise app install and in-app event campaigns across Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns (UAC) and selected programmatic / mobile ad network partners.
Source, onboard and manage app networks and agencies, with strict fraud controls.
ASO and organic app growth
Own App Store and Google Play optimisation: keyword research, metadata, screenshots, preview videos and localisation for priority languages.
Run store-listing experiments (Google Play Experiments, Apple Product Page Optimisation) and Custom Product Pages aligned to paid campaigns.
Grow ratings and reviews through in-app prompts and review management.
Drive web-to-app and cross-channel installs with SEO, Content, CRM and Partnerships (IB/affiliate) teams, including deep links and QR flows.
Measurement and attribution
Own mobile measurement through our MMP (AppsFlyer): SDK events, deep links, SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit, Google Privacy Sandbox for Android, and UTM / tracking-link standards.
Keep web (Meta Pixel / Conversions API) and app (MMP) attribution aligned and deduplicated, so paid social results are counted once.
Work with Data Engineering on cohort, CAC, LTV, ARPU and ROAS reporting (30- and 90-day) that ties installs and sign-ups to FTD and net deposits.
Keep event tracking, postbacks and attribution windows accurate across all partners.
Funnel and conversion
Partner with Product and Dev on onboarding, KYC and first-deposit flows in the app to lift install-to-FTD conversion.
Work with the CRM & Lifecycle manager (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) on push, in-app and email journeys for new app users.
Compliance
Ensure all ads and app store assets meet the requirements of each regulator (ASIC, CySEC, FSCA and others), platform ad policies for financial products, and Apple / Google app store guidelines, including risk warnings and country restrictions.
Out of scope
Organic social and community (Discord, Reddit communities, Telegram), owned by the Organic Social & Community Growth Manager.
Candidate profile
Must have
4+ years in paid acquisition, covering both paid social (Meta, TikTok and at least one other platform) and mobile app user acquisition.
Proven experience in online retail trading (FX/CFDs), iGaming or crypto: you understand regulated, high-CPA acquisition, deposit-driven funnels and the ad-platform restrictions these verticals face.
Hands-on ownership of a multi-channel paid budget of USD 250k+ a month.
Hands-on experience with Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, MetaAds, LinkedIn, X and ASO, with proven results on both App Store and Google Play as well as driving Web/Desktop Leads and FTDs
Deep working knowledge of an MMP (AppsFlyer preferred), SKAdNetwork, post-ATT measurement and deep linking, plus Meta Pixel / Conversions API.
Strong analytical skills: cohort analysis, LTV modelling, incrementality thinking and ROAS-based budget decisions; comfortable in Excel / Google Sheets and BI dashboards.
Experience optimising to down-funnel events (registration, deposit), not just clicks or installs.
A track record of running structured creative testing at scale.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
Experience with programmatic and mobile ad networks.
Experience with Snapchat, Reddit and other social or new ad channels such as ChatGPT.
Knowledge of financial-promotion rules (ASIC, CySEC, FSCA) and Apple / Google policies for financial apps.
SQL or BigQuery; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
A second language relevant to our key markets (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Thai or Vietnamese).
Personal attributes
Commercial and numbers-driven: you decide on cost per FTD, not clicks or installs.
Comfortable owning a large budget and explaining every euro of it.
A fast tester who learns from failures and scales winners quickly.
Collaborative with Creative, Product, CRM and Data Engineering.
Our offer
A welcoming, young and multicultural team with approachable leadership.
Real autonomy over a large growth budget, and the chance to contribute to a dynamic business in a growth phase.
Support for your ideas and room to put your expertise into the company's best practices.
Continuous personal development, a training and development budget, growth with the company and the opportunity to learn from industry leaders.
Competitive remuneration, regular salary reviews and performance-based incentive schemes.
A vibrant company life: from team activities to global celebrations.

About Us
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Close is a CRM built around the communication tools sales teams use every day: email, calling, SMS, workflows, reporting, and AI. Underneath that product is a broad technical surface — Python services and a large application backend, a TypeScript and React frontend, public APIs, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and integrations with providers that handle sensitive customer data.
Security work happens across it all today, but the ownership is spread across Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security & Trust. We’re hiring our first dedicated Product Security Engineer to make that work systematic. You’ll report to the Backend Platform team manager within EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design), while working across the entire product and infrastructure surface. You’ll find vulnerabilities, determine which findings matter most, and drive them through remediation. Often you’ll fix the problem yourself. Other times you’ll give the owning team a clear reproduction, a practical path forward, and enough context to prioritize correctly.
You’ll analyze code, build proof-of-concepts, test running applications, tune or replace noisy tools, and automate the repetitive parts of vulnerability management. This is not a role where you forward scanner alerts and call the queue managed. Product and application security will be your responsibility. You’ll partner closely with our Infrastructure team on cloud security, access, and secrets, and with our Security & Trust Lead on GRC Engineering https://grc.engineering/, compliance (SOC 2) goals, audits, and corporate security.
This role is a new one at Close. You’ll have significant room to decide where better tooling, clearer ownership, and a small amount of code can reduce the most risk.
OUR STACK
Our backend is primarily Python, with Flask and FastAPI services and TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger and Temporal handling much of our asynchronous work. We expose REST https://developer.close.com/ and GraphQL APIs and store data in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Our frontend is a large single-page TypeScript application built primarily with React. We bundle with Vite, target modern browsers, and test with Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Chromatic. The product updates in near real time and uses technologies including WebSockets and WebRTC. Our mobile application is built with React Native.
We build and test Docker images in CI/CD and continuously deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS. Our infrastructure uses managed services including EKS, MSK, and ElastiCache, alongside services running on EC2. Terraform and Ansible automate much of the underlying infrastructure, and our containerized local development environment lets engineers run the full system on their own machines.
For this role, our stack extends beyond simply backend or frontend: browser behavior, frontend state, API authorization, asynchronous processing, data access, third-party integrations, containers, and cloud configuration can all be part of the same attack path.
We love open sourcing our code and ideas on our GitHub https://github.com/closeio and on The Making of Close https://making.close.com/, our behind-the-scenes Product & Engineering blog. Check out our open source projects like SocketShark https://github.com/closeio/socketshark, TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger, LimitLion https://github.com/closeio/limitlion and ciso8601 https://github.com/closeio/ciso8601.
AI is both how we build and what we ship, and that's reshaped what engineering looks like. This is a transformation we’re embracing and find deeply exciting.
YOU ARE
- An application security engineer who writes code. You can move from reading an unfamiliar code path, to reproducing an exploit, to proposing or shipping a production-quality fix. Strong Python or TypeScript experience would be especially useful; fluency across both backend and frontend systems is even better.
- Skilled at finding vulnerabilities conventional scanners may miss. You use modern AI-assisted review pipelines, guided by expert judgment, to uncover subtle flaws in web apps and APIs—from authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation to injection, SSRF, unsafe data flows, and business logic. You can threat-model designs, white-box review code, and test running systems.
- Offensive-minded and operationally responsible. You know how to test like an attacker without being careless with customer data or production systems. You can turn a finding into a safe reproduction, assess exploitability and business impact, and retest the eventual fix.
- An automation builder. You have worked with some mix of SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secrets scanning, or cloud posture tooling. More importantly, you know how to tune tools, connect them to engineering workflows, and remove noise.
- AI-native and accountable. You use coding agents and LLMs to accelerate investigation, code review, and repetitive engineering work, but you verify their output. You think carefully about what happens when agents clone untrusted code, install dependencies, or receive access to credentials.
- Able to separate severity from priority. A score is an input, not a foregone conclusion. You consider reachability, existing controls, customer impact, and attack chains, then explain the risk in language that is legible to an engineer or business owner.
- Comfortable working across the business. You’ll collaborate with product engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Security & Trust Lead, auditors, and external researchers without confusing partnership for pass-off ownership. You will follow findings to closure even when another team is responsible for the fix.
- Self-directed in a remote environment. You can take an ambiguous surface (say, secret rotation or dependency remediation) and learn how it works across multiple systems then turn it into a practical plan with measurable progress.
You do not need to arrive as the deepest expert in every part of this scope. You do need to be able to investigate an unfamiliar system, determine what matters, and bring the right people with you.
YOU WILL
The work spans hands-on application security, security automation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure partnership. Depending on where you find the greatest risk and leverage, projects could include:
- Build a recurring product security review program. Threat model new features, audit high-risk areas, review code, and build safe proof-of-concepts in isolated development environments. Work across our backend, frontend, APIs, and customer-facing integrations.
- Improve application security testing. Combine static analysis, dependency and secrets scanning, dynamic testing in development, and carefully scoped production testing. Use existing tools where they fit and build focused automation where they don’t.
- Own vulnerability intake and remediation. Triage findings from HackerOne, scanners, penetration tests, audits, customers, and internal research. Reproduce issues, assess exploitability and impact, track remediation, and verify fixes. Serve as technical lead for our bug bounty program while contract and budget ownership remain elsewhere.
- Turn security alerts into useful engineering work. Verify scanner coverage and automate ingestion, deduplication, enrichment, prioritization, and routing—so teams spend less time interpreting alerts and more time fixing important issues.
- Make dependency remediation safer and less manual. Improve scanning across our Python and TypeScript codebases, then build workflows to assess upgrades, stage pull requests, run checks, and route work without exposing credentials to untrusted packages or build steps.
- Make secrets routinely rotatable. Partner with service owners and Infrastructure to inventory application secrets, add graceful rotation paths, document provider-specific runbooks, and automate rotation where the provider and risk justify it. Expand our use of Vault-backed dynamic credentials and reduce the number of rotations that require a coordinated fire drill.
- Strengthen AWS security with Infrastructure. Evaluate and improve automated detection of risky configuration across identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, and registries. Turn findings into secure defaults, just-in-time access patterns, infrastructure guardrails, and actionable remediation—not build a second Infrastructure team.
- Support audits and raising the security floor. Partner with Security & Trust on external assessments, provide technical context, and ensure findings are fixed rather than rediscovered. Along the way, create documentation, paved roads, and lightweight training that helps engineers make safer choices without waiting for a security review.
- Take a key technical role in security incident response. Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to coordinate investigation, containment, and remediation. Contribute to root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements, translating lessons learned into stronger controls and reduced recurrence.
Tech you’ll touch: Python, TypeScript, React, Flask, FastAPI, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Vault, GitHub Actions, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch and the security tooling you help us choose.

With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Why This Role Exists
Xsolla is going all-in on becoming an AI-first company, and we're not waiting for a slow rollout to get there. We're offering AI Engineer Internships in regions across the globe to help drive that shift directly, not by sitting in the back office, but by building.
You'll work on two things:
Internal AI initiatives – helping unlock AI tooling and integrations across Xsolla faster than our existing teams can alone.
Proof-of-concept builds on our own APIs – showing our product and engineering teams what's possible when you build with AI as a core part of your workflow, not an afterthought.
This isn't a shadow-and-observe internship. You'll ship code that goes to customers – internal teams or external players and game developers – working closely with senior engineers and fellow interns across our global regions.
Who You'll Work With
You won't be isolated on an intern-only project island. You'll work closely with senior engineers who are actively rebuilding how we write software, and you'll be part of a global cohort of interns building in parallel across our regions. That combination is the point: senior engineers give you a bar for what production-grade, customer-facing code looks like, and your fellow interns give you a peer group to trade ideas, code, and AI workflows every week.
What You'll Do
Partner and collaborate with senior engineers to identify where AI tooling and integrations can remove friction, and build the fix.
Build applications and integrations on top of Xsolla's APIs and SDKs that show internal teams how to move faster using AI-assisted development.
Ship work that matters. What you build is expected to reach real users – whether that's an internal tool an engineering team adopts or a customer-facing integration – not a throwaway exercise that gets shelved after your internship ends.
Use agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as your default way of working – not a novelty you reach for occasionally.
Share what you build. We run weekly 30-second lightning-talk demos where everyone shows how they used AI to solve something that week – you'll be expected to bring something real.
Work with minimal process. You'll get context, a problem, and a mentor – the rest is on you to figure out and build.
Learn from and collaborate with both directions: senior engineers who'll mentor you on production-grade practices, and fellow interns across markets you'll trade ideas and code with at the weekly demos.
What We're Looking For
You build things because you want to, and that you already use AI to do it faster.
Genuine passion for building.
You have side projects, hackathon entries, open-source contributions, or something you shipped just because you were curious. You didn't need an assignment to make it happen.
Real AI fluency.
You've actually used tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools to build something – not just asked ChatGPT to explain a concept. You should be able to explain how you used AI to get there and how you confirmed it actually worked – not someone who fires off a prompt and hopes for the best.
Bias toward action.
Given an ambiguous problem, you start building before you ask for a spec.
Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions
– we care more about how fast you learn than what you already know cold.
Open to current graduate students and recent graduates of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program
.
How to Apply
Please include:
A link to a GitHub profile, deployed project, or anything else you've built – the more recent and self-directed, the better.
A short answer (2-3 sentences, or a 2-minute video/Loom if you'd rather show than tell) to:
“What's something hard you built recently, and why did you build it?”
We're not grading for correctness or polish. We're looking for whether you have a real answer, and whether it's clear you actually did the work yourself (with AI as your tool, not your ghostwriter).

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE TEAM
Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Our customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the Cloud Platform team builds the systems that make that possible — compute orchestration, Kubernetes, bare metal, storage, networking, and the datacenter fleet that runs it all.
We run it all on our own metal, our own network, our own datacenters — which means when something breaks, the fix is ours to write.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
This is a people-leadership role from day one. You will manage the team — hiring, coaching, performance, growth paths, honest feedback — while staying close to the code: roughly half your time in architecture decisions and the hardest technical problems the team faces, the other half leading your squad. If you are looking for a senior IC role, this is not it.
AI agents don't run in browsers. They run in sandboxes — and you will lead the team building ours.
We build secure, isolated, network-controlled environments with snapshotting primitives, designed for AI agents and reinforcement-learning workloads. An RL training run doesn't need one environment; it needs thousands, created and destroyed every second. An agent needs to be sandboxed from the world while still feeling fast enough to be useful. That tension — airtight isolation, at fleet scale, at low latency — is the product.
Your customers are the people building the next generation of AI software on our infrastructure; the primitives you ship become the runtime their agents live in.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build the isolation layer: microVMs or containers, namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, snapshot and restore.
- Own the security boundary. Customers run code they didn't write and can't fully trust — your systems make that safe.
- Scale to fleets: creation latency, density, and lifecycle management for thousands of concurrent environments.
- Write Go alongside your team and own the architecture and the hardest implementation decisions.
- Grow the engineers, not just the software — set the standard for ownership and coach people past their comfort zone.
- Own people management for the team: hiring, performance, growth paths, and honest feedback.
- Partner with Product Managers to turn frontier research needs into shippable primitives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of real people leadership. You have managed engineers — hired, coached, given honest feedback, and grown them. Hands-on contribution matters here, but this role is judged on the team you build and lead, not just the code you write.
- Deep Linux internals: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, virtualization — ideally microVMs of the Firecracker class.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Not dabbled. Shipped.
- You understand network isolation at the packet level — not just firewall rules.
- Performance instincts: you know what a syscall costs, and you have the profiles to prove you've cared.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
- You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

Our Security and IT team keeps the 360Learning platform secure, compliant and auditable for the 1,500 organisations that learn on it every day. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, your mission is to make our infrastructure secure by design, detectable by default, and provable at audit time.
360Learning runs its learning platform on Azure and Kubernetes, certified ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II. Over the past two years the technical security workload has grown on every front: a larger and more regulated customer base sending their own scans and security assessments, a wider detection and response scope, more infrastructure to keep hardened and auditable, and a growing backlog of security engineering projects that never reach the top of the queue.
We are creating this position to add real technical capacity on the infrastructure side of security, and to move part of our security posture from manual effort to automated guardrails. You will be the bridge between security and platform engineering: deep enough in infrastructure to fix things yourself, and close enough to security operations to know what to look for.
“Ours is a small, senior team with a broad scope: information security, compliance, infrastructure governance and internal tooling, with dual audit accountability on ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II. That means direct impact and no layers between you and the decision. Roughly half of this role is greenfield build work you will own end to end.” Guillaume Seigneuret, CISO and Hiring Coach.
Within 1 month, you will:
Complete our onboarding and learn how we work through our own platform and our Convexity culture
Map our Azure and AKS environment, our detection and logging coverage, and our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 control scope with the CISO and the Security Engineer
Meet the DevOps, platform engineering and IT teams you will work with daily
Shadow alert triage and one customer security assessment end to end
Within 3 months, you will:
Be autonomous on our AKS and Azure environment and handle infrastructure related alerts end to end
Have shipped at least one concrete hardening or automation improvement in production
Own the infrastructure scope of vulnerability management, from triage to remediation follow up
Within 6 months, you will:
Have the honeypot live and producing high fidelity alerts
Have measurably widened SIEM connector coverage, with documented log sources and retention
Run infrastructure vulnerability remediation on a predictable cycle with SLA reporting
Within 12 months, you will:
Manage detection content as code, with reviewed and tested rules and documented runbooks
Have largely automated audit evidence on the infrastructure scope
Have eliminated long lived credentials on the critical paths, so engineering teams ship on secure defaults they did not have to think about
The Skill Set:
5+ years in infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering with a strong security focus, or in security engineering with hands on infrastructure practice
Production experience with Kubernetes: RBAC, network policies, admission controllers, secrets handling, workload identity, runtime security
Solid cloud experience, ideally Azure. Strong AWS or Google Cloud experience with a genuine interest in converting works too
Infrastructure as code: Terraform, GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines
Scripting and automation: Python or Go, plus shell. Comfortable reading and writing code, and opening pull requests on repositories owned by other teams
Log analysis and investigation: cloud audit logs, query languages, correlation across identity, network and application sources
Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR).

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
Modal’s Inference Runtime team owns the container runtime stack used to run inference and training workloads across our fleet. We work at the boundary of Linux, containers, filesystems, storage, GPU drivers, and distributed systems.
Our goal is to make demanding ML workloads start quickly, run efficiently, and remain securely isolated, whether they use a single GPU, hundreds of gigabytes of memory, or multiple GPUs connected with RDMA.
We’re looking for a systems engineer who enjoys working deep in the stack. You’ll build production runtime infrastructure in Rust and Go, diagnose difficult Linux and performance problems, and help determine the architecture of Modal’s container platform. You’ll also work closely with maintainers of gVisor and contribute to the runtime itself when the right fix belongs upstream.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
- Make container startup, checkpoint, and restore dramatically faster for large inference and training workloads
- Build multi-GPU and accelerator-aware snapshotting, including efficient handling of GPU memory and RDMA-enabled workloads
- Design zero-copy and low-copy data paths between container memory, filesystems, storage, and Modal’s runtime
- Optimize large snapshot pipelines using techniques such as parallel uploads, direct I/O, incremental snapshots, and more efficient memory handling
- Improve container image and filesystem performance across EROFS, FUSE, page caches, overlay filesystems, and remote storage
- Extend our sandboxed runtime to support new GPUs, drivers, profiling tools, and device capabilities across NVIDIA and AMD hardware
- Debug complex failures involving system calls, virtual memory, process lifecycle, kernel behavior, GPU drivers, and container isolation
- Safely roll out runtime and kernel changes across a heterogeneous fleet using compatibility controls, scheduling constraints, feature flags, and observability
- Work across the runtime, scheduler, storage, and GPU infrastructure, and take ambiguous production problems from investigation through deployment
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have strong Linux systems knowledge, particularly processes, virtual memory, filesystems, system calls, scheduling, namespaces, cgroups, and signals
- You’ve built or debugged container runtimes, sandboxes, the Linux kernel, or similarly low-level infrastructure
- You have strong programming ability in Rust, Go, or another systems language, and an interest in becoming productive in both Rust and Go
- You’ve profiled and improved systems where memory movement, I/O, synchronization, or kernel interactions dominate performance
- You’re comfortable debugging across abstraction boundaries, from application behavior down through runtimes, drivers, and the kernel
- You can turn loosely defined production problems into well-designed, reliable systems
- You want to own important infrastructure and work closely with both internal teams and customers
NICE-TO-HAVE:
Any of the following would be helpful, but none is required:
- gVisor, runsc, runc, OCI runtimes, seccomp, or checkpoint/restore systems
- Linux kernel development, virtualization, sandboxing, kernel modules, or device proxying
- CUDA, ROCm, GPU drivers, accelerator virtualization, or GPU profiling
- RDMA and high-performance networking
- FUSE, EROFS, direct I/O, mmap, page-cache behavior, or storage engines
- Large-memory or multi-GPU inference and training systems
- Contributions to open-source systems software
Prior gVisor or machine-learning experience is not required. We care more about strong systems fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn unfamiliar parts of the stack.
WHY THIS ROLE:
The container runtime is directly on the critical path for inference performance. Improvements here can substantially reduce cold starts, increase token throughput, unlock new accelerator types, and make previously impractical workloads possible.
This is an opportunity to work on unusually deep systems problems with immediate production impact. You’ll have room to shape the architecture, contribute to open-source runtime technology, and take ownership of foundational infrastructure used by every inference and training workload on Modal.

We’re looking for a Legal Operations Lead to join us as the first dedicated legal operations hire at Modal. You’ll own the systems, records, and workflows that let a small legal team keep pace with a high-growth tech company, and you’ll have an opportunity to build most of them from scratch.
This is a great fit for a highly organized, systems-oriented operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build operational foundations, not just maintain them. You’ll report to our General Counsel and collaborate closely with the Finance, BizOps, GTM, and People teams.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Build and maintain contract operations, including designing the contract lifecycle management workflows and approval logic, and continuing to iterate and improve those processes
- Design a legal intake process to support and route legal requests from internal stakeholders
- Make the legal function faster with AI, and build and configure tooling to make us more efficient
- Manage corporate administration and record-keeping, including Board and stockholder matters, signature coordination, and building a knowledge management system and database
- Be the point person for corporate compliance, including entity management, foreign and domestic qualifications and filings, and coordination with registered agents
- Support stock administration and cap table hygiene
- Manage outside counsel and legal spend
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:

THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to join us as the first commercial lawyer at Modal. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and build the templates, playbooks, and positions that guide our operations. You’ll report to our General Counsel and collaborate closely with the Sales, BizOps, Finance, and Engineering teams and help build the foundation for a small but growing legal team.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own customer contracting, including MSAs, service orders, NDAs, DPAs, and BAAs, negotiating directly with customers and partnering with the Sales team throughout the full deal cycle
- Lead vendor-side contracting, including capex procurement, SaaS tools, and consulting arrangements, among others
- Build and maintain contract repositories, template libraries, and contract playbooks
- Partner with Legal Operations on our CLM, including approval workflows and escalation logic
- Review and revise operational policies (terms of service, privacy policy, acceptable use, and website terms) and customer-facing marketing materials
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have approximately 5-10 years of combined law firm and in-house experience negotiating commercial technology agreements, with meaningful time supporting an enterprise sales motion
- You have a JD and active bar membership in good standing in New York or California
- You’re deeply familiar with SaaS contracting
- You’ve worked extensively within Ironclad or a similar CLM
- You can build templates and playbooks from scratch
- You have working knowledge of privacy and regulatory data protection frameworks, such as GDPR and HIPAA
- You have sound commercial judgment and know how to balance risk with the business needs of a high-growth tech company
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with infrastructure, compute, or datacenter supply agreements

Our trailblaze together culture is what drives our success, powered by our people and the way they work. Using progressive technology, we drive cutting-edge innovation and improve how our customers discover, book and experience their holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to accelerate your growth through meaningful challenges, new experiences and the freedom to shape your own path. You’ll create impact for our future by taking ownership, contributing to shared goals and helping shape what comes next, all as part of our enhanced international community of talented, collaborative and passionate teams.
The difference you’ll make
You’ll sit within the Shopping team, reporting to the Lead Product Manager. The Shopping team turns travel supply into accurate, commercially optimised, bookable and payable holidays. It provides shared data and services that help customers, teams and partners make better selling decisions.
On the payments side, you’ll work closely with Engineering and Commercial Payments to own product strategy and delivery for the Payments platform. Together, the team will make it easier for other teams to offer, operate and improve payments without rebuilding the same logic in each customer journey. You will:
- Build a flexible international payments platform: Define the shared services, data and APIs that meet local customer and market needs, while allowing payment methods to be launched and managed consistently across markets and customer journeys.
- Create reliable foundations: Improve the payment data, provider integrations and fraud controls that keep payments secure, dependable and easier to manage.
- Make payment methods easier to launch: Help teams configure, test and release supported methods safely, with less engineering work and clearer ownership.
- Enable payment optimisation at scale: Provide shared data and platform capabilities that help teams improve payment success and offer relevant payment methods across markets and journeys. Apply AI to improve insight and enable responsible automation where it delivers measurable value.
Your day-to-day:
- Working with your lead engineer and stakeholders to set the Payments vision, roadmap and success measures.
- Working with market experts, commercial teams and Customer Product teams to understand payment needs. Provide data to inform their decisions and translate agreed requirements into reusable platform capabilities.
- Exposing reliable payment data and provider insights so teams can understand failures, drop-off, acceptance rates and customer pain points. Work with those teams to prioritise the platform improvements needed to improve payment performance.
- Leading delivery: Lead work across payment services, provider integrations, payment data, configuration and fraud controls. Keep the platform straightforward for other teams to use.
- Working directly with payment providers and aggregators to solve issues, evaluate new capabilities and hold partners to the standards customers need.
- Explaining trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and building agreement on decisions that span several teams.
Your skillset:
- Platform product experience: You have owned a technical, API-led, data-rich or internal platform product that is used by more than one team or customer journey and involves a payments ecosystem.
- Systems thinking: You can understand how payment data, provider integrations, customer journeys, commercial rules and operational processes fit together, then turn that into reusable product capabilities.
- Technical fluency: You can work closely with engineers on APIs, integration patterns, data models, reliability, observability, security and migration work. You do not need to be an engineer, but you can make sound product trade-offs with them.
- Payments and commercial judgement: You understand the payment ecosystem and how method availability, payment success, fraud, cost and customer trust affect growth.
- Data-led problem solving: You are comfortable using data to investigate problems, define useful measures and judge whether a change is improving payment performance.
- Customer empathy: You understand that payments can be stressful, especially when people are making high-value holiday purchases or managing payments after booking. You use this to advocate for clear, dependable journeys.
- Strong delivery and communication: You can lead complex work through ambiguity, make priorities clear and bring technical, commercial and operational stakeholders with you. You deliver iteratively, focusing each step on meaningful value while keeping the team aligned to a clear long-term direction.
- AI literacy: You use AI tools confidently and can demonstrate their impact. You understand their strengths and limitations and can apply them responsibly to improve your work and payment capabilities.
The interview journey:
- Talent intro, 30 minutes
- First stage with the hiring manager, 45 minutes
- Final stage with key stakeholders, including a platform case to present, 1 hour
- Behavioural and culture conversation with the Director of OTA Platform (Shopping’s pillar), 45 minutes
Perks of joining us:
- Company pension contributions at 5%
- Individualised training budget for you to learn on the job and level yourself up
- Discounted holidays for you, your family and friends
- 25 days of holidays per annum (plus 8 public holidays) increases by 1 day for every second year of service, up to a maximum 30 days per annum
- Ability to buy and sell annual leave
- Access to our electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme
- Cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan and eye care vouchers
Our commitment to inclusion
At loveholidays, we focus on creating an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute, grow and succeed. We value the different perspectives, experiences and ideas each person brings, because they help us work better together, challenge our thinking and make stronger decisions.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we want everyone to feel supported and able to do their best work. We’re also committed to making our hiring process accessible, so please let our Talent Acquisition team know if you need any adjustments at any stage.

THE ROLE:
We’re hiring a Field Marketing Manager in San Francisco to build and run the programs that turn Modal’s target accounts into active customers. You’ll work closely with our Sales team to plan regional campaigns, run events for the engineers and technical leaders we sell to, and report on how those programs contribute to pipeline and revenue. This is a hands-on role for someone who has run account-based field programs at a technical company and wants to help shape the function as it grows.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales, aligning field programs with sales priorities and helping AEs create and accelerate pipeline in their territories
- Develop and execute account-based programs for named accounts, working with Sales to identify key stakeholders and the right mix of touchpoints for each
- Decide which industry conferences and sponsorships are worth investing in, and own what we bring, who we send, and whether we go back next year
- Plan and host high-touch 1:1 and 1:few events for prospects and customers, such as executive dinners, roundtables, and technical workshops, in partnership with AEs
- Own pre-event and post-event execution, including targeted invitations, meeting booking, and timely follow-up with Sales
- Build co-marketing programs with VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners to reach their portfolio companies and customers
- Track and report on program performance, including meetings booked, account engagement, and sourced and influenced pipeline, and use the results to plan future investment
- Own the VIP experience at Modal’s flagship events, including our annual conference, Runtime
- Build repeatable processes and playbooks as the team grows
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have a track record of running field programs at a technical company and can point to specific ones and clear outcomes
- You’ve worked directly with AEs and you’re happy sharing a number with them
- You have good judgment about where to spend: a lot of sponsorships look better than they perform, and you can tell which is which
- You’re organized and self-directed, and comfortable running many events, partners, and vendors at once
- You’ve produced events across a range of formats, from small executive dinners to large conference sponsorships and brand events
- You have strong attention to detail and a high bar for taste and the quality of every event and touchpoint
- You’re comfortable with data and reporting, including CRM, attribution, and pipeline analysis
- You’re familiar with ABM, intent data, and marketing automation tools
- You’ve built AI into marketing workflows, such as account research, audience development, event operations, and reporting
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience at an AI, developer tools, or cloud infrastructure company
- Experience marketing to technical audiences such as engineers, ML teams, and technical executives
- Experience bridging product-led and sales-assisted growth
- Existing relationships with Bay Area VCs, accelerators, or AI communities
