ABOUT KEYROCK
Since 2017, Keyrock has been a change-maker in digital assets. We're a global, remote-first team of 200+ people across 40+ nationalities, with hubs in Brussels, London, Paris and New York.
We provide liquidity across 80+ centralized and decentralized exchanges - a position cemented by our Series C, led by SC Ventures. Today we run a full spectrum of capital markets businesses across centralized and on-chain venues: market making, high-frequency trading, options, OTC, DeFi trading desks, advisory, and asset management.
We're building toward the agentic investment banking capabilities for the era of digital finance. A proprietary agentic layer runs the mechanics of the market, so our people can focus on the work code cannot do: the deal, the relationship, and the judgement.
We're not just envisioning the future of finance - we're building it.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Head of Marketing to take full ownership of our marketing strategy, rebrand Keyrock and reposition us as the market evolves from crypto-native to institutional, merging with traditional finance.
This is not a maintenance role. It is a transformation mandate with full discretionary decision-making on how to implement our commercial strategy. You will work as a close strategic partner to the CCO, operating almost as co-marketeers.
The team is lean by design: 2-3 direct reports plus heavy use of AI and agentic tooling. We are looking for someone who inspires and sets direction, not someone who runs campaigns. Operational execution will increasingly be handled by AI agents.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own and execute the complete rebrand and repositioning of Keyrock in the market
- Define and drive the marketing strategy across institutional and crypto-native audiences
- Build a premium, forward-looking brand identity. Think distinctive, audacious, credible to both institutional allocators and crypto-native operators
- Push information into the market in ways that make people pay attention and take Keyrock seriously
- Partner closely with the CCO and commercial team to drive measurable commercial impact
- Build and lead a small, high-impact team augmented by AI tooling
- Shape how Keyrock is perceived as the industry converges with traditional finance
WHO YOU ARE
- Crypto-native. You have been through market cycles. You understand blockchain technology deeply but you are pragmatic, not ideological. You know this is not a binary world.
- A brand-builder, not an ops person. You are inspiring, not operational. You set direction, tone and creative vision.
- An exceptional communicator. You can face institutional allocators who care about regulation and licensing, and crypto-native counterparties who value speed and edge. You switch between both with ease.
- Confident and assertive. You project authority. You bring conviction and directness - you challenge constructively and don't default to consensus. You bring edge, energy and a slightly audacious style.
- Human-centric. You connect with people, build followership and bring teams along.
- Detail-oriented. Despite the strategic focus, you sweat the details on brand consistency, messaging precision and design quality.
- A challenger mindset. You dare to think differently, question the status quo and push things forward through constructive tension.
OUR RECRUITMENT PHILOSOPHY
We look for self-aware candidates who bring both the core skills required for the role and a deep alignment with our performance principles. We seek fiercely passionate, mission-driven people who communicate with purpose and practice proactive ownership. The perfect fit? A crypto enthusiast who prioritizes mission over ego, maintains a commercial mindset, and delivers long-term value through pragmatic flexibility.
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
REQUIRED
- Significant experience in marketing leadership at a crypto or digital-asset firm
- Deep understanding of the crypto market, its participants and its culture
- Track record of building or transforming a brand in a fast-moving, commercially-driven environment
- Strong communication skills Exceptional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
PREFERRED
- Experience positioning a firm through a TradFi/crypto convergence narrative
- Exposure to publicly listed or IPO-track companies
- Familiarity with EU regulatory environment (MiCA) and how it shapes marketing and financial promotions
- Experience working with or building AI-augmented marketing functions
WHY KEYROCK
- Step-up opportunity. Own the function globally, report directly to the CCO, shape the brand from scratch.
- Transformation moment. Keyrock is pivoting from appreciated-but-underrated to a firm that commands respect. This is a before-and-after career story.
- Commercial partnership. Not a siloed marketing role. Deeply embedded in commercial strategy with commission upside.
- Lean and AI-augmented. Small team, big impact. No bureaucratic bloat. Use agents and tools to move fast.
- Global footprint. Offices across EU, UK, US and Switzerland. International exposure from day one.
- Competitive offer. A base compensation package ranging from $145.000 to $215.000 p/a, attractive global benefits, and a performance-based variable.
- Annual Team Retreats. A yearly offsite dedicated to strategy, celebration of our wins and fun team activities

About Eneba
At Eneba, we’re building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for the gamers of today and tomorrow. Our marketplace supports close to 20m+ active users (and growing fast!), provides a level of trust, safety and market accessibility unparalleled to none. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Join us as we continue to scale, diversify our portfolio, and grow with the evolving community of gamers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Head Of Business Unit to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving significant project growth, with a clear mandate to scale and significantly increase our operations and outcomes. You will serve as a key strategic Leader, leveraging your start-up experience to navigate challenges, identify growth opportunities, and execute high-impact commercial initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Full accountability for the unit's P&L: revenue, margin and cost base — you set the KPIs, build the reporting, and make the pricing and investment trade-offs rather than escalating them.
- Stand up a new business line from a standing start — validate the opportunity, ship the first version, and get it to real revenue rather than inheriting something already running.
- Define positioning, pricing and channel strategy, plan market entry, and take accountability for the launch landing — not just the plan being written.
- Keep milestones, resources and dependencies on track across every workstream, without needing to be chased.
- Pull product, engineering, marketing and finance in the same direction, translate between them, and surface blockers early — usually without direct authority over the people involved.
- Replace manual workarounds with processes that scale as the unit grows, so the business doesn't depend on you holding it together.
- Develop and own the 12–24 month growth strategy. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, product categories, or monetization channels that materially move the needle.
- Transition from "founder-mode" execution to building scalable processes. Institutionalize repeatable playbooks for category management, supplier onboarding, and performance monitoring that enable sustained, rapid growth.
- Foster a high-velocity testing culture. Build the framework for hypothesis-driven development, design, launch, measure, and iterate on large-scale initiatives that unlock new revenue streams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a high-growth B2C startup or ecommerce marketplace environment within the Digital Products ecosystem. You have personally owned a growth metric and successfully scaled it significantly (e.g., from early-stage to high-scale operations).
- Exceptional commercial and numerical acumen. You do not just read data—you build sophisticated models, surface non-obvious insights, and translate complex metrics into clear, actionable business strategies.
- A history of leading large-scale projects from concept to market-ready execution. You have experience navigating the friction of cross-departmental alignment and delivering measurable outcomes under pressure.
- You thrive in unstructured, high-velocity environments. You have a proven ability to shape chaos into process and define order where none exists.
- Strong people-management capabilities (experience leading teams of 10+ is a plus). You know how to hire, coach, and mentor high-performing talent, and you possess the executive presence to present plans to leadership.
- A relentless "Get Things Done" mindset. You are results-driven, comfortable challenging the status quo, and willing to put in the necessary effort to hit ambitious growth targets.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in English. You can influence peers, negotiate with external suppliers, and provide clarity to C-level stakeholders regarding project health and strategic pivots.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
dbt Fusion is building the next generation of data execution and connectivity infrastructure, enabling dbt workloads to run efficiently across diverse compute engines and data platforms. As a Senior Engineer on the Fusion Adapters and Connectivity team, you’ll design and ship core abstractions powering how dbt communicates with execution systems — leveraging Rust, Go, Arrow, and emerging open standards. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of systems programming, database internals, and high-visibility open-source development. Your work will shape a foundational platform leveraged across the dbt ecosystem and the broader data community.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain Rust-first connectivity layers, execution APIs, and adapter scaffolding.
Partner with teams building the dbt compiler, semantic layer, and runtime to evolve adapter interfaces and system boundaries.
Contribute to Arrow/ADBC and other open-source specifications or implementations, strengthening the data ecosystem.
Own CI, testing frameworks, profiling, error reporting surfaces, and release readiness for Fusion adapters.
Debug complex interoperability and performance issues across drivers, engines, and compute domains.
Collaborate with internal and community maintainers to review PRs, write RFCs, and evolve public code architectures.
Mentor engineers on systems best practices and contribute to shared patterns around resilience, debuggability, and API clarity.
Skills We’re Looking For
Strong programming background in Rust, Go, C++ or similar performance-oriented languages.
Experience designing or maintaining SDKs, libraries, connectors, or compute/data integration codebases.
Exposure to data warehouses, query engines, Arrow/columnar ecosystems, or execution runtimes.
A desire to build foundational platform components that other teams and community members rely on.
Comfort working in public code review loops, async-first communication, and collaborative RFC processes.
A mindset grounded in debuggability, reliability, and ownership in ambiguous problem spaces.
You’ll have an edge if you have:
Contributed to or interacted with Arrow, ADBC, DuckDB, Presto, DataFusion, Spark, ClickHouse, or similar engines.
Experience shaping adapter/plugin standards, driver contracts, or architectural interfaces used by others.
Familiarity with Rust async ecosystems (tokio, tower, tracing) or Go concurrency practices.
Prior OSS governance experience — triaging issues, reviewing PRs, or working with community maintainers.
An interest in building developer-experience layers or scaffolding frameworks for adapter authors.
Qualifications:
6+ years experience in software engineering, with strong systems-level skills.
2+ years working in open-source, SDK, runtime, or low-level integration environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / related field or equivalent experience through industry OSS contributions.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to build ElevenLabs' public sector business across France. The Public Sector Partnerships Lead will identify and build relationships with government institutions across France, bridging the gap between government and our GTM team to drive adoption of ElevenLabs' products and grow government into a strong, durable revenue stream for the company. The role also involves building strategic partnerships with policymakers, industry associations, and coalitions, as well as monitoring regulatory developments and supporting policy campaigns and impact initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Drive government adoption and revenue (primary)
- Identify government partnership opportunities across France — from healthcare and education to transport, public banks, and other state-owned enterprises — and bridge the gap between government institutions and the GTM team to drive adoption and deployment of ElevenLabs' products.
- Build and maintain a wide network of relationships across French government institutions — spanning ministries, agencies, établissements publics, and SOEs — not limited to regulatory or policy counterparts.
- Promote government adoption of ElevenLabs products and services in partnership with the GTM team.
Build strategic partnerships (secondary)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups.
- Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events, advancing the company's public policy goals.
Monitor and advise on policy (tertiary)
- Lead ElevenLabs engagement with government bodies and officials across France, with a focus on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and/or digital rights.
- Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations impacting the company — including EU-level developments given France's influence in shaping EU AI policy.
- Support the development of internal policies by our Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams.
- Provide strategic counsel to company leadership on regional policy trends and their business implications.
- Define and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives that advance company objectives.
Who you are:
- You're genuinely interested in the future of AI and emerging technologies, bringing curiosity and enthusiasm to your role.
- You stay up-to-date on AI regulation and industry trends, and are eager to apply this expertise to cutting-edge products.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, working cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support and scale a growing business.
- You're comfortable working independently and handling ambiguity, excelling in situations where you must make informed decisions quickly.
- You bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to each project, focused on moving the business forward.
What you bring:
Primary requirements
- 10+ years' experience in public and private sector (in-house, firm) roles, with a track record of building relationships with government that led to commercial or technology-adoption outcomes — not solely policy or regulatory roles.
- A wide, current network of contacts across French government institutions — spanning ministries, agencies, établissements publics, and SOEs, including in healthcare, education, and transport. Prior government or grands corps experience is a plus but not required if network breadth is strong.
- Experience identifying and opening doors for technology partnerships with government institutions is strongly preferred.
- Contacts or experience navigating EU institutions or other major European markets is a plus.
Also required
- Strong knowledge of the French and EU AI policy landscape, including general AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.
- Demonstrated success in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes, as well as coalition building.
- Public policy experience across France.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including when briefing government officials and other policymakers.
- Fluency in English and French.

This role is located in France.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly systematic Senior Creative Producer to own the ad creative engine for one of our core D2C subscription products in the consumer AI category. You will be fully responsible for the full concept-to-performance loop, generating the angles, driving production volume, running structured tests, performing competitor research, and turning creative-level data into the next round of winning concepts.
This is a high-impact role. Your ad creatives will be the primary performance lever: your work moves CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS directly, and you are accountable for those numbers alongside the User Acquisition team. The bar is high and so is the upside; performance here is directly and significantly rewarded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creative Strategy & Concepting
- Own the creative angle strategy: Define which hooks, pains, and value propositions get tested next.
- Develop creative concepts: demo-led ads, UGC-style video, statics, and AI-generated formats.
- Translate product features and capabilities into concrete, scroll-stopping propositions for target audiences.
- Build and maintain a documented library of proven angles, hooks, and creative patterns.
PRODUCTION & TESTING VELOCITY
- Own the creative pipeline across ad networks (Google, YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Applovin, etc) shipping new concepts every week.
- Structure systematic A/B testing frameworks, isolate variables, and analyze the results to bring solid conclusions.
- Produce clear creative briefs for designers to execute high-performing concepts aligned with the brand.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS & ITERATION
- Own creative-level metrics: hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Generate testable hypotheses from performance data and retire underperforming angles quickly.
- Identify winning patterns, codify why they work, and scale them into new concept batches.
- Deliver structured creative performance reviews with clear recommendations for the next cycle.

T
ogether, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for an engineering manager to lead our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform: the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own technical excellence and delivery of a single team, from evolving high-throughput APIs and data models, to hardening reliability and latency for enterprise and single-tenant customers, to shipping new discovery and catalog capabilities in close partnership with product. You'll set direction, review designs and code, remove roadblocks, and grow the engineers on your team through coaching, feedback, and clear career development.
What You'll Do
Lead and grow a team of software engineers, owning hiring, onboarding, coaching, career development plans, and regular 1:1s and check-ins
Own project delivery for your team against the quarterly plan, and be accountable for the reliability and performance of the services you own (e.g. uptime and latency targets)
Review technical designs and code, and provide feedback grounded in a deep understanding of the Metadata product area and architecture
Drive the team to address technical quality — incidents, bugs, tech debt, and post-mortems — within SLA and metric targets
Partner with product and business stakeholders on planning, and maintain a realistic, prioritized feature and project backlog with a high completion rate
Contextualize and communicate the engineering vision and strategy to your team, and share the team's work and business impact with adjacent teams
Ensure engineering processes (e.g. FDLC) are implemented and consistently followed
Delegate effectively and build autonomy and a positive, high-trust culture within the team
Address performance issues and conflict promptly and fairly
Ensure your team uses AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
Experience managing and growing a software engineering team (ideally a customer-facing product development team); including hiring, coaching, and running a full performance and career-development cycle
Strong technical foundation with the ability to review designs and code and make sound architectural trade-offs in a distributed, cloud-based systems environment
Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule while holding the team to high standards of quality, reliability, and performance
Experience owning production services and driving operational health — incident response, on-call practices, tech-debt reduction, and meeting SLAs
Ability to plan and prioritize with product partners, maintain a realistic backlog, and drive high sprint and quarterly completion rates
Communicates clearly and effectively across the team and with adjacent teams and stakeholders; keeps people well informed
Fluent in using AI code assistants, coding agents, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to support the software development lifecycle, and able to establish those practices across a team
Bonus Skills
Experience building or operating metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem
Experience supporting enterprise or single-tenant customers with strict reliability and latency requirements

About seQura
seQura provides innovative, flexible and easy-to-use payment technologies that help merchants acquire, convert and retain more customers.
We make a difference in sales performance by tailoring our solutions to different sectors, to address their unique pain points and deliver superior results in Retail, Education, Eyewear, Repairs and Travel.
We also empower smart shopping to consumers who seek more value, convenience, and flexibility in their shopping, with new payment experiences that allow them to save, access interest-free credit, or pay in small, comfortable installments of up to 24 months.
Born in Barcelona, seQura is a privately-owned fintech, currently expanding throughout southern Europe and Latin America, growing above 50% CAGR.
Over 6000 businesses, almost 3 million shoppers, and almost 400 employees continue to rate us as one of the most loved and trusted fintechs out there, with an NPS of 87%, a Trustpilot rating of 4.7/5, and a Glassdoor rating of 4.1/5.
About the role
🤓
At seQura, we are looking for someone who doesn't just animate scenes, but brings ideas to life.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a
Senior Motion & Graphic Designer
to shape how seQura looks, moves and feels. Motion is becoming a core part of how we express our brand, and this role will elevate seQura's positioning through every visual touchpoint, becoming a creative reference across the company.
This role goes far beyond moving elements on a screen. We are looking for someone with a strong visual culture across motion, photography and graphic design; someone who can read an image before animating it, understand what makes a story work, and find the right rhythm to make an idea move.
You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to turn concepts into compelling visual stories that build the seQura brand, while also bringing your expertise to projects across the company.
What challenges you'll be solving
🚀
Turn concepts into high-quality motion graphics, video and visual storytelling that go beyond campaigns: work that repositions the company and strengthens its brand narrative.
Define and document seQura's motion language: principles, timing and transitions that other designers and partners can apply consistently.
Join projects from the idea stage, shaping concepts alongside copywriters and other creatives rather than executing finished briefs.
Build visual narratives where rhythm, composition, photography, typography and movement all serve a clear purpose.
Own every project from concept to final delivery, with consistency and attention to detail at each step.
Bring structure to the process: manage timelines and deliverables without lowering the creative bar.
Integrate AI tools into your workflow to explore faster and push further, never as a substitute for judgement or craft.
Become a trusted reference for teams across seQura, contributing wherever your expertise adds value.
Keep exploring new tools, formats and approaches that raise how we communicate as a brand.
What we offer
😎
We have a strong and sustainable foundation, where we provide a secure and reliable workplace. You have the freedom and trust to make the best contribution possible.
One of our most valued strengths by our employees is our fellowship and supportive culture, which fosters a sense of belonging by working closely with our values. With us, you will have challenging projects to work on and push your skills and knowledge.
In addition, we are very proud of the unique office we have, which offers a comfortable and inspiring environment to work in with everything you need.
23 vacation days + 2 days of free disposal per year.
Professional development workshops or seminars.
Flexible compensation plan for transportation, restaurants, and kindergarten with Cobee.
Health insurance discounts with Sanitas and Adeslas.
Urban mobility by using your own bike with Kleta.
Free access to healthy, organic, and sustainable fruits and snacks.
Moreover, we offer a
Wellness Program
that embraces a holistic approach by covering 6 areas (occupational, physical, financial, emotional, social, environmental consciousness). Each area will include a variety of activities, and you'll be able to choose from 34 different activities that best meet your needs to configure a plan that best works for you.
What you’ll need
🫱🏼🫲🏽
A portfolio that shows craft and systems thinking together, not just showreel moments.
Senior-level judgment: you know which risks are worth taking, and which aren't.
Conceptual depth: the ability to connect motion, brand and interaction into one coherent experience.
Fluency with AI and generative tools for image, motion and audio generation.
Expert in motion & editing tools
:
it's not about which tools you prefer, but how well you use them. Think After Effects for motion, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve to finish a project end to end, Cinema 4D/Blender for 3D, but if you achieve the same results in a different way, that works too.
A solid foundation in composition and photography: you understand what makes an image work before you animate it.
Sharp judgement, connecting every visual decision to the idea behind the piece.
Experience developing ideas with copywriters and other creative profiles, not just receiving briefs.
Real ownership: you manage projects, meet deadlines and answer for your work end to end.
Flexibility to move across projects, formats and teams in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English
Nice to have
Experience in fintech, technology or other fast-paced environments.
Experience in Figma.
About you
You notice when an animation feels just a little too slow.
You know when an easing curve doesn't quite feel right.
You care about craft but understand how to ship quickly.
You're comfortable working in ambiguity, helping define patterns before they exist.
Most importantly, you believe motion isn't decoration. It's a critical part of how great products communicate.

We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time and look forward to sharing this journey with you. ABOUT THE TEAM
The Risk & Fraud team exists to protect the thing that makes a marketplace work: trust. Every transaction we process depends on us drawing a clean line between genuine players and bad actors, without getting in the way of the good ones.
The work spans both ends of the problem: the day-to-day defense — alert review, chargeback management, and escalations from Customer Support — and the longer game of partnership strategy, fraud program design, KPI ownership, and staying ahead of how fraud evolves. We don't treat fraud as a cost centre — we treat it as a discipline.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As the Head of Risk & Fraud, you own the line between trust and loss for the entire business.
You're not refereeing from the stands. You set the fraud strategy across all our products, you lead the team, and you own the decisions that actually move the number — which partners we work with, which models we trust, where we draw the risk line, and what we tell Product when a new feature opens a door we'd rather keep shut. You're the person the stakeholders turn to when the question is "how exposed are we, and what are we doing about it?" and you answer with evidence, not vibes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owner of the Number: You own the fraud P&L. Payout rate, chargeback rate, approval rate, false-positive rate — across the business, these are yours. You're the one who can explain every movement and who's accountable for the trend line.
- Leader of the Team: You won't just run the team; you'll build a strong second line of leadership beneath you and develop the people in it, so the function stays sharp whether or not you're in the room.
- The Strategy Setter: You own the fraud-reduction roadmap. You decide what we build versus buy, where we invest, and how the multi-product fraud program is designed — then you make sure it actually ships.
- The Partnership Principal: You own the commercial and strategic relationships with our fraud-prevention partners. RFPs, champion-challenger tests, SLAs, and the negotiations themselves sit with you.
- The Cross-functional Bridge: You're the operational partner to Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal. When the business builds something new, you make sure fraud risk is designed in from the start — not patched in after the first loss.
- The Compliance Anchor: You own our risk-side regulatory and compliance obligations — PSP requirements, KYC, and law-enforcement requests — and make sure we're defensible as we scale across markets.
- The Final Word on Risk: You're the top escalation point for the hardest risk calls, and you represent Risk & Fraud in cross-functional and leadership forums with structure, data, and a clear point of view.
Requirements
-
- A Proven Track Record: You have solid experience in fraud, risk, or financial crime (think 4+ years in a fast-paced or high-growth environment) and have led a team before. What matters most is the scope you've owned — you've been accountable for fraud outcomes end to end, not just clearing queues.
- An Owner of Outcomes: You don't just talk about "reducing fraud" — you have the receipts. You can point to specific times you moved fraud rate, chargeback rate, or approval rate through structural change, and explain the trade-offs you made to get there.
- A Commercial Operator: You've owned partner selection and negotiation, managed budgets and SLAs, and know how to hold a partner accountable to the numbers they promised.
- A Data Native: You have a sixth sense for dashboards. You can look at a metric gap, diagnose the root cause, and make the call without waiting for an analyst to hand you the answer. Comfort in SQL / Databricks-type environments is a strong plus.
- A Builder of Teams: You find genuine satisfaction in developing leaders and building a function that thrives independently. You set clear expectations and you coach.
- Familiar with Our World: Ideally you've spent time in digital marketplaces, e-commerce, payments, or gaming, and you know the failure modes — promo abuse, reseller fraud, account takeover — and the pace of a high-volume digital business.
- Compliance-Fluent: You're comfortable operating against regulatory, PSP, and KYC obligations, and you know where the risk function's responsibility starts and stops.
- A Strong Communicator: Since we operate internationally, your written and spoken English needs to be sharp enough to set strategy, influence executives, and lead a diverse team.

An overview of this role
As a Backend Engineer on the Plan: Spec-Driven Development team, you'll help build GitLab's intent-to-code loop: agentic workflows that turn a stated intent into a refined work item, an implementation plan, and verified, mergeable code. You'll own early-stage backend work across the flows, application programming interfaces, data models, and evaluation systems behind this experience, using Ruby on Rails, Python, PostgreSQL, GitLab Duo Agent Platform, large language model application programming interfaces, and an artificial intelligence gateway.
You'll join a small, distributed team working on one of GitLab's highest-visibility product bets, collaborating with design partners toward a public beta. In your first year, you'll lead major features from an unclear problem through release, help shape scope with product and users, mentor other engineers, and influence technical decisions across agent workflows and evaluation methods.
What you’ll do
Lead backend features from early product discussions through technical design, implementation, rollout, and post-launch learning.
Build the flows, application programming interfaces, and data models behind agent-generated work items, implementation plans, durable specifications, and mergeable code.
Develop evaluation and benchmarking systems that measure workflow quality, token cost, and success rate.
Use Ruby on Rails and Python to build reliable production systems, with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, representational state transfer, GitLab Duo Agent Platform, large language model application programming interfaces, and an artificial intelligence gateway.
Collaborate directly with product, design, engineers, design partners, and users to shape scope and make practical trade-offs.
Coordinate multi-person projects across the team and communicate decisions clearly in GitLab's asynchronous, all-remote environment.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical direction across the Plan group and related artificial intelligence initiatives.

T
ogether, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
