Role Overview
We are looking for a Hardware Lab Technician to own the physical side of a large-scale robot data collection operation. You’ll keep the fleet running, build what’s next, and be the person the lab calls when something stops working. This is a hands-on role across research and low-volume production where embodiments, grippers, and camera rigs change fast—and the hardware has to keep up. Day-to-day teleoperation is handled by a dedicated operator team you support; you maintain what they run on and help ensure data quality through reliable, well-calibrated hardware.
Project Details
Location: 100% Onsite (Santa Clara, CA, US)
Employment: Full-time W-2
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM or 9AM - 5:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension
Rate: $40 per /hour
What You’ll Do
Build, wire, and bring up data collection stations — robot arms, multi-camera rigs, workstations, teleoperation hardware, and cable management that survives daily operator use.
Keep the fleet running: daily checks, preventive maintenance, calibration routines, and diagnosing faults on arms, hands, and sensors.
Swap and integrate end-effectors and grippers, dexterous hands, force/torque and tactile sensors, and RGB-D cameras.
Run calibration and firmware procedures across the fleet, and catch drift before it reaches the data.
Assemble and iterate prototype hardware coming out of our mechanical and electrical engineers — printed parts, off-the-shelf components, vendor-fabricated parts, and custom harnesses.
Soldering, crimping, connectorization, harness building, and PCB rework support at the bench.
Own the lab's physical state: spares and consumables inventory, parts kitting, bench and tool organization, and shipping, returns, and RMAs with vendors.
Support teleoperators on hardware issues during live collection — triage fast, fix or escalate, and get the station back up.
Document what you do. Build sheets, maintenance logs, calibration records, and hardware SOPs the next technician can follow.
Help bring up new embodiments and new stations alongside engineers and researchers.
What we need to see
3+ years hands-on technician experience in a lab, prototyping, or low-volume build environment — robotics, medical devices, aerospace, semiconductor equipment, or similar.
AS in a technical field, a relevant trade or technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Mechanical assembly fundamentals: fasteners and torque, bearings, belts, linkages, and the ability to read CAD and mechanical drawings (Onshape, SolidWorks, or similar).
Electrical hands: soldering including basic SMD rework, crimping and connectorization, harness building, and confident use of a multimeter and oscilloscope.
Comfortable in Linux at the command line — SSH into a workstation, run a calibration script, read a log, and tell us what it said.
Experience with motors, encoders, and sensor integration, and an understanding of what a bad ground or a marginal cable does to a data stream.
Methodical and self-documenting. An undocumented fix is a future outage.
Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change, and able to prioritize when more than one lab needs you at the same time.
Able to work on-site in Santa Clara, with flexibility on shift coverage as the labs run extended hours.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
Humanoid or bimanual platforms (Unitree, Fourier, ALOHA/ARX-class rigs) and dexterous hands.
Maintenance and calibration on collaborative or industrial arms — UR, Franka, xArm, ARX, or equivalent.
Multi-camera rig build and calibration; RealSense, ZED, or Orbbec-class depth cameras.
Running and maintaining FDM or SLA printers, and designing your own simple fixtures and adapters.
Light scripting in Python or bash to automate a repetitive bench or calibration task.
Experience in a high-throughput lab or production line where uptime or yield was a number someone tracked.
Vendor-facing experience: RMAs, lead times, and spares planning.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Enterprise Account Executive to drive ElevenLabs’ growth across Insurance: the carriers, MGAs, and brokers people rely on when life gets expensive and complicated. These organizations win or lose on trust and service at massive scale, under some of the most demanding regulatory standards anywhere.
Our ideal candidate learns fast, closes well from a warm introduction, and is passionate about AI voice technology. You’ll act as a strategic partner to insurers reimagining how they serve, sell to, and sound to their customers, safely and at scale.
In this role you will:
- Focus on prospecting and landing net-new customers to expand the market footprint that ElevenLabs has in the Insurance industry
- Balance a diverse pipeline of large national carriers that require a white-glove experience with regional and mid-sized insurers that require speed to close
- Identify where conversational AI can drive growth, automation, or cost efficiency in customer-facing and internal workflows, such as claims intake, policy servicing and renewals, billing and payment support, agent and broker support, and contact center coaching
- Stay current on the conversational AI landscape, including competitive solutions, build-vs-buy dynamics, and emerging trends in insurance AI governance and regulation
- Develop and execute account strategies across the whole buying group (Claims Operations, Customer Service and Contact Center, Distribution, Digital and Technology, and Compliance, Legal, and InfoSec), landing with one high-impact use case and expanding across lines of business
- Partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to solution high-impact use cases, manage a successful Proof of Value, guide customers through security, architecture, and AI governance review, and set them up to scale in production
- Partner closely with Legal teams to drive strategic, fast-moving negotiations
- Serve as a trusted advisor on generative AI and voice, and share what you learn in the field to sharpen our Insurance positioning, messaging, and references
Requirements
- 7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology, ideally with exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based products, or API-driven platforms
- Insurance experience (carriers, MGAs, brokers, insurtech) is preferred but not required. We weigh demonstrated adaptability and fast ramp in a new industry heavily
- Proven success closing [six- and seven-figure] deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Proven ability to take a warm introduction through discovery, Proof of Value, and procurement to close
- Experience selling to both technical buyers (product and engineering) and business buyers (claims, customer service, distribution, digital), and to compliance and risk gatekeepers, translating complex technology into business value
- Adept at deeply understanding a customer’s business and translating ElevenLabs’ capabilities into solutions that deliver against their needs
- Proficient in enterprise procurement, security review, and legal processes, including regulated-industry vendor risk, AI governance, and data protection reviews, and able to work autonomously as a cross-functional partner
- Strong executive presence, the ability to build relationships with senior executives, and willingness to travel frequently for onsite client visits and conferences
- High EQ, self-aware, and curious. Low ego and hands-on, comfortable running your own prospecting and deals
- Comfort in an early-stage, high-growth environment, where ambiguity is the norm and the state of play changes rapidly
- Passion for voice and conversational AI and how it can unlock transformative value for customers

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Enterprise Account Executive to drive ElevenLabs’ growth across Financial Services: the banks, credit unions, insurers, lenders, and wealth managers people trust with their money, their families, and their futures. These institutions win or lose on trust and service at massive scale, under some of the most demanding regulatory standards anywhere. Their customers increasingly expect to talk, not type, whether they’re checking a balance, disputing a charge, filing a claim, or asking about a loan.
Our ideal candidate learns fast, closes well from a warm introduction, and is passionate about AI voice technology. You’ll act as a strategic partner to institutions reimagining how they serve, sell to, and sound to their customers, safely and at scale.
In this role you will:
- Focus on prospecting and landing net-new customers to expand the market footprint that ElevenLabs has in the financial services industry.

- Develop and execute account strategies across the whole buying group (CX and Contact Center Operations, Digital and Product, Technology, and Risk, Compliance, Legal, and InfoSec), landing with one high-impact use case and expanding across lines of business
- Partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to solution high-impact use cases, manage a successful Proof of Value, guide customers through model-risk, security, and architecture review, and set them up to scale in production
- Partner closely with Legal teams to drive strategic, fast-moving negotiations
- Serve as a trusted advisor on generative AI and voice, and share what you learn in the field to sharpen our Financial Services positioning, messaging, and references
Requirements
- At least 7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology, ideally with exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based products, or API-driven platforms
- Financial services experience (banks, credit unions, insurers, lenders, payments) is preferred but not required. We weigh demonstrated adaptability and fast ramp in a new industry heavily
- Proven success closing [six- and seven-figure] deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Proven ability to take a warm introduction through discovery, Proof of Value, and procurement to close
- Experience selling to both technical buyers (product and engineering) and business buyers (CX, operations, digital), and to risk and compliance gatekeepers, translating complex technology into business value
- Adept at deeply understanding a customer’s business and translating ElevenLabs’ capabilities into solutions that deliver against their needs
- Proficient in enterprise procurement, security review, and legal processes, including regulated-industry vendor risk, model risk, and data protection reviews, and able to work autonomously as a cross-functional partner

Location: Valencia
Workplace: OnSite
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Software Engineer, Simulation and Modeling
- Location: Valencia
- Reports to: Reports to: Laboratory Lead & Test Architect
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As a Software Engineer, Simulation and Modeling, you’ll build the software world the satellites live in (orbits, emitters, signals, truth and scoring) so the whole team can ask “what if” and get a number back. ICEYE is building a space-based RF constellation covering 100 MHz to 30 GHz alongside its SAR fleet, and the Experimentation Lab in Valencia is where we develop, simulate and validate that capability.
Customers and our own engineers ask questions we currently answer by hand-waving: what revisit a cluster gives over an area, how many emitters we detect in a crowded scene, how geolocation accuracy moves with cluster spacing or timing error, and what a next-generation architecture choice buys. The answers need a simulation framework that models the constellation and the emitters end to end, generates the signals each satellite would see, and scores what comes out against a known truth. It doesn’t exist yet. You’ll build it, and it will become a tool used by engineers, analysts and customer-facing staff.
You’ll work daily with the lab, signal processing and ground segment teams, and you’ll have direct influence on how ICEYE builds and proves this capability.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Model the constellation: orbit propagation, cluster geometry, attitude and pointing, antenna beams, access and contact windows, with spacing and timing as swept variables.
- Model the emitters and the theatre: emitters as state machines with real antenna patterns, scan behaviour, modes and duty cycles, placed at order-of-battle density. Start from the lab’s real captures and extend synthetically.
- Generate the signals: propagation and link modelling (path loss, delay, Doppler, ionosphere in the low band) and synthetic I/Q per satellite, at a fidelity the RF hardware and the processing chain can consume.
- Own the truth together with the processing team: a truth ledger of every simulated emission, position and time, kept out of reach of the system under test, plus the association and scoring that turn a run into detection rate, false-alarm rate, geolocation accuracy and latency.
- Drive the hardware together with the RF team: provide the geometry and timing the channel simulator and playback hardware need, so a recorded radar can be heard by three simulated satellites with the right delays and Doppler.
- Make it a platform: versioned scenarios, seeded and reproducible runs, provenance on every result, tests, CI, documentation and an interface that non-authors can use.
- Answer real questions: capacity, revisit and performance studies for the payload, product and sales teams, and architecture trades for future generations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Strong software engineering in Python (and ideally a compiled language): clean architecture, version control, testing, code review, packaging
- Experience building a simulation or model of a physical system that others used, and validating it against measurement or real data
- Numerical and scientific computing: NumPy/SciPy or equivalent, vectorisation, performance awareness
- Working knowledge of at least one of orbital mechanics and access computation, RF link budgets and propagation, or signal processing
- Habits that make results reproducible: seeds, configuration management, data provenance
- Clear written and spoken English
Nice to haves:
- Constellation, mission or system-level modeling and simulation (STK, Orekit, GMAT, Basilisk or in-house)
- Radar, EW or emitter modeling; scenario or order-of-battle generation
- TDOA/FDOA/AoA geolocation or estimation theory
- Synthetic I/Q generation, GPU acceleration, or real-time and hardware-in-the-loop interfaces
- Cloud-native deployment, containers, workflow orchestration, and data stores for large runs
- A simulation framework of yours that outlived your involvement in it
- Eligibility for national security clearance (an advantage)
What success looks like:
- 6 months: a first end-to-end scenario (cluster geometry, a handful of emitters, synthetic I/Q per satellite, truth logged, a first score) is used to answer at least one real capacity or performance question.
- 12 months: a reproducible, documented framework runs without you on the team; geometry drives the RF channel simulator; real captures enter scenarios alongside synthetic emitters.
- 24 months: the simulation is part of the end-to-end loop with the flatsat and ground pipeline, runs in regression, and backs performance numbers we put in front of customers.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Application Screening
- TA call
- Hiring Manager call
- Onsite interview

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity:
We build
Tempo
, the open-source distributed tracing backend behind Grafana Cloud Traces and Grafana Enterprise Traces (GET). Tempo makes it easy to search traces, generate metrics from spans, and connect tracing data with logs, metrics, and profiles across the Grafana stack.
2026 is an inflection point for Tempo. After a major architectural upgrade and the launch of TraceQL metrics, we are shifting from foundational work to product and operational excellence, and evolving Tempo from a SaaS database into a platform that powers Grafana’s next generation of observability products (App Observability, Asserts, Traces Drilldown, and AI-driven assistants).
Over the next year, you will help us:
Make Grafana Cloud Traces “just work” for customers by eliminating rough edges, confusing limits, and hidden failure modes.
Achieve operational excellence at scale as we grow from close to 50 cells today into triple digits this year, with autoscaling, parameterized rollouts, and aggressive toil reduction.
Evolve Tempo into a platform enabler: higher-density APIs, trace aggregation, TraceQL metrics math, and machine/LLM-friendly interfaces that downstream products and agents can build on.
Push performance further: faster query latency at hundreds of MB/s ingestion and performant 30-day query ranges to match competitors.
Prepare Tempo for an agent-driven world: larger, burstier, higher-cardinality workloads, and new categories of AI-powered workflows, such as assistant-driven triage and “why is this slow?”- style investigations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Engineer on Tempo, you will own technical direction on the hardest problems in our roadmap and raise the bar across the team.
Deliver significant technical projects.
Take well-scoped, multi-month initiatives from problem framing through rollout, e.g., trace aggregation APIs, Limitless Tempo, autoscaling cells and customer limits, or query engine improvements. Partner with Staff engineers and the tech lead on broader, cross-team direction.
Own major components of Tempo.
Contribute to and own parts of ingestion, storage, query, and metrics generation. Write and present design docs, participate in design reviews, make sound trade-offs on performance, cost, and complexity, and document the “why” for the team.
Build APIs for humans and agents.
Help shape the next generation of Tempo’s interfaces (structured, deterministic, discoverable) so that Act 3 products, LLM-driven assistants, and external integrators can build on Tempo reliably.
Contribute to operational excellence.
Own outcomes for the areas you build against concrete SLOs (P99 write latency, incident recurrence, TCO per ingested GB), and help move the team toward Zero Ops through automation, parameterized rollouts, and actionable alerts.
Collaborate with Product and sibling teams.
Work with PMs and with App Observability, Asserts, Drilldown, and Grafana Assistant teams to understand how Tempo gets consumed and to ship what unblocks them.
Mentor and support engineers.
Raise the bar through thorough code review, constructive design feedback, and pairing, especially with junior and mid-level engineers.
Participate in on-call
for the services you help build, and contribute to incident response and post-incident learning.
Contribute to open source.
Tempo is OSS. You will engage the community, review external contributions, and contribute to the project in the open.
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
Example problems you could work on
These are the kinds of projects landing in 2026:
Trace aggregation and higher-density APIs:
extend TraceQL metrics, design LLM-friendly response types, and make Tempo a first-class data source for Grafana’s AI assistant.
Autoscaling end-to-end:
customer limits and Tempo cells, with hysteresis, predictive scaling for spikes, and safe scale-down.
Agent-scale ingestion and query:
guardrails for bursty, high-cardinality, agent-generated workloads.
Query performance:
new data formats, smarter query pipelines, targeted optimizations for common Drilldown and Traces workflows, and 30-day query ranges.
Rollouts and multi-cell operations:
parameterized rollouts, push-button deploys, and the tooling to grow safely into triple-digit cell counts without a proportional increase in alert noise.
Limits and self-service:
drive customer-facing configuration and observability so escalations trend toward zero.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Technical ownership.
A track record of delivering complex, multi-month projects that spanned design, delivery, and operations, and of helping the teammates around you grow.
Solid systems experience.
Significant hands-on experience building and operating distributed data systems in production: ingestion pipelines, storage engines, query execution, or similar.
Strong software craftsmanship.
You write clean, robust, performant software that others can maintain, and you know when to optimize vs. when to ship.
Strong Go, or a path to it.
We write Tempo in Go. Solid experience in other systems languages (Rust, C, C++) translates well.
Operational mindset.
You’ve owned production services, carried a pager, reduced toil, and treated SLOs as a product feature, not a chore.
Customer focus and pragmatism.
You break complex problems into short feedback loops: analyze, design, deliver an MVP, learn, iterate.
Collaboration and clear writing.
You contribute through design docs, reviews, and shipped code, and you communicate clearly in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with tracing, OpenTelemetry, or large-scale observability systems.
Experience designing query languages, SQL/TraceQL-like engines, or APIs intended to be consumed programmatically (by services or agents).
Experience with columnar storage formats (e.g., Parquet) or purpose-built on-disk formats for analytical workloads.
Experience operating multi-tenant, multi-cell SaaS infrastructure at scale on Kubernetes.
Experience building for AI/LLM consumers: structured APIs, metadata/discovery endpoints, deterministic outputs, evaluation harnesses.
Open-source contribution or maintainership, and comfort engaging a community in the open.
Experience as an on-call user of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo in a previous role (or on a homelab).
Experience in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
How we work
We are a remote-first team that meets regularly over video and does most of our work asynchronously, in writing. We value creativity, diverse perspectives, and clear communication. Tempo is relied upon by prominent global organizations to monitor critical applications and infrastructure, and we expect everyone on the team, including our senior engineers, to contribute ideas that make it a more reliable, more useful, and more loved product.
In US, the OTE (On-Target Earnings)/Base compensation range for this role is USD $154,445 - $185.334. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.

We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Role Overview
As a Member of Technical Staff in Post-Training Data Infrastructure, you will build and own the pipelines that produce the post-training data for our large language models (LLMs), from SFT and RL data to synthetic and human-annotated data. You will work closely with researchers and annotation teams so they can iterate on data as quickly as they iterate on models.
Key Responsibilities

- Own dataset quality, versioning, and reproducibility.
- Turn research data recipes into production-grade, reusable components.
- Scale model inference for data generation and model-based grading.
- Design data formats and schemas that keep post-training datasets consistent and efficient to train on.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to make sure data pipelines keep pace with the needs of cutting-edge language models.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering skills.
- Experience designing and building large-scale data pipelines for machine learning, ideally for LLM post-training.
- Track record of running distributed data processing and model inference at scale.
- Good understanding of post-training methods (e.g., SFT, RLHF, DPO) and how data shapes model behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills.
This is neither an exhaustive nor necessary set of attributes. Even if none of these apply to you, but you believe you will contribute to Cohere, please reach out. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives at Cohere
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
