The Role
Own a portfolio of small and mid-sized advertisers across South Africa, selling media solutions on behalf of our partner platforms. This is a new-business hunting role first and an account management role second. If you are energised by clear targets and an active client list, this is your seat.
What You Will Do
Revenue and growth
Deliver your quarterly portfolio (BU) target, agreed with your Sales Manager. 100% achievement meets expectations.
Track against year-to-date and annual targets, quarter on quarter.
Grow your portfolio 20% year on year and retain 80% of your existing client base.
Generate 10% of quarterly revenue from new business: clients not yet onboarded, or inactive for 6+ months.
Reactivate 10 churned accounts every quarter (no spend for two full quarters or more) through proactive outreach and welcome-back incentives.
Send at least 2 revenue-driving proposals per week (deck, one-pager or email with a clear idea plus KPIs or benchmarks).
Account management
Hold at least 8 client or agency meetings per week (in person, virtual or by phone), each logged with a recap.
Run at least 6 client workshops per quarter (2 per month) and stay in weekly contact with clients.
Deliver at least 2 post-campaign reports per week, plus QBRs for key accounts.
Support Ad Ops to drive delivery and help clients reach campaign KPIs: optimise, troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
Spot and close upsells (IO top-ups, budget additions, extensions) and record them at project level in Salesforce.
Product and client knowledge
Know each client's business, history, spend and campaign performance.
Build deep working knowledge of our partner platforms, their products and updates, and educate clients through workshops.
Administration and Ad Ops
Execute Ad Ops processes accurately and on time, in line with Aleph procedures: trafficking bookings, sending IOs for signature, creating ad accounts, loading or publishing funds and granting access.
Reconcile client accounts, monitoring Go-Lives, slow-pacing IOs and expiring budgets.
Maintain tool expertise, internal process proficiency and administrative hygiene.
Salesforce and sales hygiene
Log everything in Salesforce: emails, calls, meetings, contacts, companies and upsells.
Maintain a BANT-qualified pipeline with genuine week-on-week movement and accurate closing dates.
Submit a bottoms-up weekly forecast within 20% of your agreed quarterly target.
Send meeting recaps within 24–48 hours, respond internally and externally within 24 hours, and escalate any opportunity delayed beyond 72 hours.
Keep client folders and collateral current on the shared drive (linked, never attached).
Schedule prep and debrief time around meetings, with a written agenda in every invite.
Prepare a handover document with a designated buddy for all approved leave.
Who You Are
3+ years in digital media, adtech or platform sales, ideally across SMB or high-volume portfolios
A genuine hunter — you enjoy cold outreach, you work the reactivation list, and you do not wait for inbound
Relentless energy and activity levels: five meetings and two proposals a week without being asked twice
Disciplined in CRM — you treat Salesforce as your own forecasting tool, not as admin
Confident presenting to founders, marketing managers and agency teams, and comfortable running workshops
Commercially sharp, resilient under target pressure, and quick to turn a client conversation into a proposal
Johannesburg-based, with a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally for client meetings

You will take real responsibility from the start, supported by experienced Sales leaders, coaching and a strong cohort community. This is one global programme, activated locally, with a clear platform to build a long-term commercial career.
What You’ll Do
- Master the payments craft: Build a deep understanding of Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s products, the payments ecosystem and global payment trends so you can speak credibly with prospective merchants.

- Partner with Sales: Work closely with Sales representatives to progress opportunities, maintain momentum and support the commercial lifecycle through to successful financial go-live.
- Work cross-functionally: Partner with Solutions Engineering, Underwriting, Product, Marketing and other teams to align around merchant needs and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Leverage AI and sales technology: Use Salesforce, intent data, enrichment tools, analytics and approved AI tools to improve research, personalisation, territory planning and pipeline accuracy.
- Operate with rigour: Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, apply qualification frameworks thoughtfully and use data to understand what is working and where to improve.

- Analytical ability: You are comfortable with numbers, information and data. You can break down complex problems and use evidence to decide what to do next.
- Communication and presence: You listen carefully and communicate clearly in writing, conversation and presentations.
- Technical curiosity: You are interested in technology and motivated to use AI and sales tools to work smarter, not just harder.
- Coachability: You actively seek feedback and turn coaching into changed behaviour.
- Team impact: You believe in winning as a team, share information generously and collaborate respectfully across functions.
REQUIREMENTS

An overview of this role
As Director, Analytics Engineering, you'll lead a team of 8 and report to the VP of Data & Insights. You set direction across the data organization, stay close enough to the work to guide technical decisions credibly, and partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, IT, and business leaders.
You will have three mandates:
Build trusted, AI-ready self-service.
Deliver a semantic model that answers business questions correctly, with the telemetry, evals, and model flexibility to prove it and keep costs in check.
Set the strategy for how GitLab accesses data.
Own the data models, BI tools, and AI access patterns (Claude, MCP servers, Slack agents) that put trusted data in everyone's hands.
Build data applications the whole company relies on.
Ship production-grade apps that combine trusted data, APIs, and AI to answer questions dashboards can't.
What you'll do
Build and own a trusted semantic model, with governed metrics and business definitions, that answers business questions consistently across every tool
Build evals and ground-truth datasets that measure answer quality, and use them to drive improvements and catch regressions
Instrument telemetry to see who uses the semantic model and AI tools, what they ask, and where they get stuck
Build a model-selection harness so GitLab can route work across LLMs and stay flexible on cost and quality
Own data modeling and curated datasets for self-service, with the ownership, data contracts, testing, and documentation that make them AI-ready
Define the AI data access strategy: when to use BI, Claude, MCP servers, or Slack agents, with the governance and security to keep access trusted and reliable
Own the enterprise BI and self-service tools strategy (e.g., Tableau, Omni), including evaluation, adoption, and cost
Build self-service capabilities, such as Claude skills, documentation, and guided workflows, that help people find and use data on their own
Build and own company-wide data applications, from Claude-built single-page apps to apps inside BI tools, that combine Snowflake data, API calls, AI-powered deep dives, and write-back to Postgres or Snowflake
Set engineering standards for data apps (security, authentication, testing, deployment, and monitoring) so they're reliable at company scale
Set a long-range roadmap tied to company strategy, and a lightweight operating model that balances urgent stakeholder needs with investment in reusable data products and tech-debt reduction
Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of 8: build career paths, develop leaders, distribute ownership, and recognize great work
Act as customer zero for GitLab and GitLab Duo in data workflows, sharing feedback with Product and Engineering
What you'll bring
12+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI, including 5+ years leading teams and 2+ years managing managers or senior leads
Deep expertise in data modeling and semantic layers (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake semantic views, LookML, Cube), and expert dbt, including testing and CI/CD across a multi-team project
Hands-on experience building LLM-powered data access (text-to-SQL, agents, MCP servers), including evals and telemetry for answer quality, and advanced use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code
Expert SQL and strong Snowflake experience; working knowledge of Python
Strong data governance experience: data quality, lineage, certified datasets, and access controls (RBAC, row access and masking policies)
Track record of leading cross-functional data initiatives from strategy through adoption and measurable business impact, including enterprise BI and self-service at scale
Systems thinker who sees how models, pipelines, and architecture decisions connect, and designs for second-order effects
Exceptional communicator who writes clear technical specs, sets a clear vision, makes trade-offs visible, and influences executives and peers across the company
Pragmatic in ambiguity: makes sound decisions on emerging technology and ships the right next version rather than waiting for the ideal end state
Able to use GitLab, thrive in an all-remote, asynchronous company, model GitLab's remote working competencies, and work in line with GitLab's values
Nice to Have
Experience with LLM routing or gateway tools and managing model costs
Experience with Tableau, Omni, or a BI platform migration
Experience with web app development (e.g., React, TypeScript) and Postgres
Experience owning finance or revenue-critical data (e.g., ARR, consumption) where accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable
About the Team
Analytics Engineering makes GitLab's data trusted, easy to find, and ready for anyone to use, whether they ask a dashboard, Claude, or a Slack agent. We own the curated data models, the semantic layer, the self-service tools, and the data applications that let teams answer their own questions.
AI is changing how people get to data. Questions that once went through an analyst now go straight to AI tools, so the answers are only as good as the data models and business definitions behind them. Our job is to make those answers correct, consistent, and measurable.

ABOUT MORPHO
Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol backed by a16z crypto, Paradigm, Ribbit Capital, Apollo, Vaneck, Coinbase Ventures, Variant and 50 others to build an open credit network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing exponential adoption, with over billion in deposits on the network and used by institutional clients including Bitwise, Galaxy, and Anchorage Digital and the largest crypto exchanges, such as Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as the open credit network, not just of DeFi, but of the world.
WHY MORPHO EXISTS
Everyone has the potential to build something great for the world. But fulfilling that ambition almost always requires more: people willing to trust you with their capital. Yet access to capital still depends on where you live, who you know, and which institutions are willing to trust you. Even when capital is available, it sits fragmented across disconnected networks and hidden behind intermediaries. The result is a system that fails most of the people it should serve. Borrowers overpay. Lenders earn less than they should. Many are shut out entirely, not because they are unworthy of credit, but because today's infrastructure was never built to connect them. Morpho exists to solve this. Full article here https://morpho.org/blog/why-morpho-exists/.
LOCATION:
Paris or remote (from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Head of Security, you'll define and drive Morpho's security strategy across the entire organization - corporate IT, cloud and infrastructure, application, supply chain, identity, incident response, threat intelligence, and counterparty security - and you'll build the team and function to deliver it. This is a hands-on leadership role: in the early days you'll personally do the work while you hire, and you'll stay close enough to the technical detail to earn the trust of a deeply technical organization. You'll also be Morpho's credible security voice, internally to leadership, and externally to the integrators, institutions, and ecosystem partners who depend on us. You'll partner closely with Engineering on infrastructure and deployment integrity, and with our Integration team, which works with various partners across the Morpho ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and continuously evolve Morpho's security strategy and roadmap across, cloud/infrastructure, application, supply-chain, identity, and operational security.
- Build and lead the security function - hire, grow, and develop the team, recruiting skillsets across security operations and application security.
- Oversight of the IT function
- Stay hands-on. Personally execute critical security work - threat modeling, architecture review, control implementation, and incident command - while the team scales.
- Set the governance architecture: a coherent security framework that ties tooling and controls together, rather than accumulating tools in isolation.
- Own incident response end to end - runbooks, incident command, severity and escalation structure, and market communication during an event.
- Build and run a counterparty security program for curators and partners - identity verification, screening, operational diligence, and bidirectional incident-coordination channels.
- Lead Morpho's certification strategy (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001), meeting both the spirit and the letter sustainably.
- Represent Morpho's security posture externally - to fintechs, financial institutions, and the broader ecosystem - and internally to executives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Protocol, and Integrations, driving security outcomes through both direct ownership and influence.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
FIRST 30 DAYS
- You've built a clear, independent picture of Morpho's posture, architecture, threat model, and in-flight work - and pressure-tested the existing strategy against it.
- You've met the team and established working relationships with the people who own the surfaces you'll most depend on.
- You understand the path-to-funds attack surface in depth and have an early, evidence-based view of the highest-severity risks and quick wins.
- You know exactly where incident-response readiness stands today.
FIRST 60 DAYS
- You've published a clearly prioritized security roadmap with clear sequencing, owners, and the rationale for what's deferred and aligned leadership behind it.
- You've defined the team build-out plan and opened the first hire.
- You're personally driving the top-severity gaps - identity and authentication enforcement, deployment guardrails, and a documented incident-response runbook among them.
- You've set the governance framework and the certification path in motion.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Demonstrable progress closing the highest-priority gaps, with key controls enforced rather than optional.
- A documented incident-response capability that's been validated by at least one tabletop exercise.
- Hiring underway, and a clear operating rhythm established with Engineering, Protocol, and Integrations.
- Morpho's external security posture is taking shape - trust surface, counterparty security program, and ecosystem engagement - and you're recognized internally and externally as Morpho's credible security voice.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 10+ years in security, several of them building or leading a security function, ideally at a crypto/web3, fintech, or financial-services company where security is core to the business.
- Strong grasp of the crypto/web3 threat model
- Proven experience building and growing a security team from a small base, recruiting across security operations and application/infrastructure security.
- Deep, hands-on technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, supply-chain, identity, and application security - you do the work, not just direct it.
- Owned incident response end to end, including incident command and external communication.
- Sharp prioritization and the ability to galvanize action through hard and soft influence, including driving outcomes through teams you don't own.
- Exceptional, organized, responsive communication - credible to executives and to external audiences from fintechs to Fortune 500 institutions.
- Humble.
NICE TO HAVE:
- An established network and public profile in the security or crypto-security community, and comfort representing security work publicly (talks, writing, framework contribution).
- Offensive security depth, or experience standing up red/blue capabilities.
- Familiarity with institutional and regulatory expectations and threat-sharing networks (e.g. Crypto ISAC, TIBER-style frameworks).
- Taken an organization through certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent)
PERKS & BENEFITS
We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career. Expect fair, top-tier compensation, real flexibility, time together in Paris, great health coverage, and support to keep learning.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to identify and reduce security risks across n8n's product and internal systems, using threat modelling, hands-on security expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to help teams design, build, and operate more secure systems.
You'll join our growing security team at a pivotal stage, acting as a trusted security partner to teams across the business. You'll help us build a move from reactive security management to a proactive, scalable security practice.
Here's what you'll be driving:
THREAT MODELLING, RISK ASSESSMENT & SECURITY DESIGN
- Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments across product features, AI agents, cloud infrastructure, corporate IT, internal applications, and data systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending practical mitigations.
- Partner with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Data teams to review security designs, define actionable security requirements, and influence the implementation of appropriate controls.

VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT & COORDINATED DISCLOSURE
- Participate in the security triage rotation, assessing incoming vulnerability reports, validating findings, and prioritising remediation based on severity and business impact.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to coordinate vulnerability remediation, verify fixes, and support secure patch and release processes.

SECURITY OPERATIONS & INCIDENT READINESS
- Help establish and improve logging, detection, and protective monitoring capabilities across our infrastructure, corporate systems, and internal applications.

CUSTOMER TRUST & COMPLIANCE ENGINEERING
- Support SOC 2 compliance by helping establish continuous control monitoring, automated evidence collection, and processes that make security assurance part of everyday operations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to respond to customer security assessments and build reusable resources that streamline future requests.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to assess security risks, improve security policies and controls, and strengthen trust with enterprise customers.
We're hiring two Security Engineers with complementary strengths, so you don't need to be an expert in every security domain.

- ✍️ Clear Communication: You can explain complex security risks, document technical findings, and provide practical guidance that engineers and non-technical stakeholders can confidently act on.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Engineering teams tackle complex technical challenges across a global, three-sided marketplace, building and scaling systems that serve millions of customers, riders and partners every day.
We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineering Manager to join us in London on a hybrid basis (3 days a week). In this role, you’ll lead the team that owns intelligence across our ordering experience, from store page and item selection through cart, upsell and checkout, plus bundling. Personalisation is one of the biggest levers we have to drive value to our customers, and your team will make the app feel less like a generic catalogue and more like one that understands what each customer is trying to do.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and develop a high-performing team of around 12 Machine Learning Engineers, distributed across multiple pods and spread across London, Finland and Berlin, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership and rapid experimentation.
Own and evolve the ranking, recommendation and personalisation systems across ordering surfaces, helping customers find the right items quickly as our selection grows.
Set the technical vision for the team’s ML ecosystem, balancing near-term product goals with longer-term bets on areas like on areas across recommendations to agentic approaches, and intent-aware experiences that adapt dynamically to how customers browse and act.
Lead the unification of our recommendation models across brands (Deliveroo, Wolt and DoorDash) and markets, working out how to power personalisation at global scale while keeping it feeling hyperlocal, and how to balance reusable core models against surface-specific adaptations without ending up with a sprawl of models.
Partner with Product, Data Science and neighbouring engineering teams to identify high-impact opportunities, define roadmaps and translate ambiguous business problems into ML solutions.
Provide technical guidance on modelling approaches, ML system design and production architecture, stepping in to challenge modelling decisions where needed without becoming a bottleneck.
Drive key marketplace metrics such as conversion and engagement, balancing velocity and scope against sustainable, long-term technical quality.
Stay close to the code so you understand how your team actually works, and help evolve the AI-assisted engineering practices and tooling that empower the team.
What you’ll need to thrive
Proven experience line-managing ML Engineers, ideally 6 or more direct reports, with a track record of building high-performing teams, coaching engineers through career progression and managing a horizontally distributed team across multiple pods or workstreams.
Significant experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production at scale, in areas like Recommendations, Personalisation, Search, Ranking or Information Retrieval.
Strong stakeholder management across product, engineering and business functions, with experience working across multiple teams and geographies.
A pragmatic, impact-focused mindset, prioritising outcomes and customer experience over theoretical perfection.
