Head of Editorial
About the Role
Finom is looking for a Head of Editorial to own the words across the Finom experience.
We'll be direct with you, because we'd rather you hear it from us than discover it in the first week: our copy isn't good enough yet. It’s inconsistent, it's longer than it needs to be, it doesn't sound enough like us (which we’re still working out), it doesn't convert as well as we’d like, and errors make it through to publication.
That's the job. You'll own the voice, the style guide and the editorial review layer that makes top notch words systematic rather than accidental. You'll lead our copywriting team, develop them, and help them realise their potential. You'll do this by showing as well as telling: you'll show us what amazing looks like. And you'll set Finom's editorial AI strategy, deciding where generation, drafting and checking genuinely help, and where they don't belong at all.
You will own the English (not localisation, but you'll work closely with the people who do, because English is the source language), which means your standard becomes the ceiling for every market we operate in. Tighten the English and every language gets better.
This is a role for an exceptional editor. Not only a writer, though you'll need to be a strong one. The core of this job is taking someone else's draft and making it materially better, quickly, because you've established a strong standard that brings results. If you find that more satisfying than seeing your own byline, you'll enjoy this job a lot.
What You'll Be Doing
• Owning the words across the Finom experience: the standard, the voice and the final read
• Building and owning the style guide, and driving its adoption well beyond the Editorial team
• Establishing the editorial review layer: who reads what before it ships, against what criteria, and how nothing goes out with errors in it
• Leading and developing the copywriting team, giving direct and useful feedback, and hiring as the function grows
• Owning Finom's editorial AI strategy: where generation, drafting and checking are used, where they aren't, and what quality gates they have to pass
• Writing personally on key projects, campaigns and launches
• Coordinating across lifecycle, web, paid and social so that Finom's language is consistent everywhere a customer meets us
• Partnering with Product to make sure brand voice holds inside the product, not just in marketing
• Working closely with localisation partners so English source quality lifts every market
• Making copy work commercially: tightening, sharpening and testing so that writing converts rather than merely describes
• Building the intake and prioritisation model that lets a small team serve rising demand without the standard slipping
What Success Looks Like
In your first 30 days: you've read everything, you know where the worst copy is and why, you've properly assessed the team you've inherited, and you understand where demand actually comes from. You have a diagnosis, not yet a plan. By 45 days: a first version of the style guide is in use, an editorial review layer is running, and errors have stopped reaching publication. By 60 days: intake and prioritisation are agreed with the teams generating demand, the voice is documented and being adopted outside Editorial, and your first AI-assisted workflows are live with quality gates that hold. By 6 months: Finom sounds like one company everywhere. Copy is tighter and converting better, with evidence. The writers on your team are visibly better than when you arrived. Editorial runs as a function rather than a queue.
Who You Are
• An outstanding and fast editor. You improve other people's writing without taking it over. You do it under deadline, without agonising
• A precise writer. Your English is exceptional. You cut rather than decorate
• Direct about quality. You can tell someone their draft isn't working, explain exactly why, and leave them wanting to fix it
• A brilliant documentor. You've created style guides, review processes or editorial standards where none existed
• Commercially literate. You treat copy as a lever, not only as craft, and you can point to writing that moved a number
• Genuinely cross-functional. You get good work shipped through other teams' processes, not just your own
• Comfortable with ambiguity. There's no style guide, no review process and no documented voice yet. You find that energising
Must-Haves
• Evidence that you can lead the editorial standard, whether through direct people management, mentoring other writers, or operating as a senior individual contributor with strong stakeholder influence. Experience managing and developing writers is highly valued.
• Experience producing high-volume marketing and conversion copy in a fast-moving tech or digital environment. In-house experience is preferred, but strong agency backgrounds are equally relevant where you’ve worked at pace across multiple channels.
• English at native level. Exceptional command of written English, since your work sets the quality ceiling for every localised market
• Demonstrable AI fluency in an editorial context. Not tool familiarity: evidence that you've set policy in practice, defined where AI isn't used, built the checking layer, and held quality as volume rose
• A track record of building editorial standards, style guides or review processes from scratch
• Experience developing writers who measurably improved
• Ability to work across marketing and product surfaces
• Based in an eligible EU location, the UK or Ireland
We're deliberately open on background. Editorial and journalism, brand and advertising copywriting, and B2B content marketing are all valid routes into this role. We care about the work and the judgement, not the job titles.
Nice-to-Haves
• Fintech, financial services or another regulated industry where precision genuinely matters
• Experience owning voice across both marketing and in-product copy
• Experience running a source-language function feeding multi-market localisation
• Experience building or managing a freelance writer network
Why Finom
Finom is building the financial platform European entrepreneurs actually want to use, in a category where almost every brand looks and sounds the same. Our customers rate us 4.8 on Trustpilot, higher than any other B2B banking player in Europe, so the product is genuinely good; the job in Brand is to make sure the way Finom reads and sounds matches it. That means an editorial function you get to build rather than inherit, an editorial AI strategy designed from a clean sheet at a moment when very few companies have worked this out properly, and real appetite at senior level for quality as a way to win rather than a cost line. If you've spent time somewhere the writing was tolerated rather than cared about, this will feel different.
Compensation & Benefits
This role sits at Job Level 6, which includes equity options under Finom's Incentive Plan, eligibility for the High Performance Bonus Plan, and a salary positioned within Finom's range for your location, level and job family, benchmarked to the 50th–75th market percentile.
Our Process
A 30-minute screen, a conversation with the VP of Brand, a three-hour editorial task with a follow-up discussion, a short cross-functional panel, a conversation with the writers you'd be leading, and a final interview with our CMO. We aim to move quickly and we'll tell you where you stand at every stage.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
Customer Experience ensures that when there are bumps in the last mile, there's always someone there to help make things right. Our team designs and implements automated support solutions, with the ultimate goal of delivering an outstanding customer experience as reliably and efficiently as possible.
About the Role
Our team is looking to hire a Manager to lead the expansion of support automation in international markets. This Manager will own the end-to-end strategy and implementation of automated support features across new markets — leveraging DoorDash's extensive automation expertise to drive measurable automated resolution rate while building a scalable foundation for ongoing global expansion.
This Manager will serve as the Strategy and Operations (S&O) Expansion Program Lead: the central DRI for developing international automation rollout plans, owning reporting for North Star metric, and working closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and country teams. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to operationalize complex, multi-market solutions and have a direct impact on global support strategy.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
Lead strategy.
Define and drive support automation expansion strategy for international markets: determining use cases, prioritization frameworks, and the approach to scaling automations across countries in a repeatable, compliant, and operationally efficient way.
Own the metric.
Own the goal end-to-end, tracking progress weekly, identifying gaps, and driving corrective action across the cross-functional team.
Build the foundation.
Build a strong foundation partnering with Product and Engineering to enable feature parity and market customization, and creating the playbook for scaling across new use cases and automation channels.
Enable experimentation.
Partner with Analytics to design, launch, and evaluate experiments that measure impact and drive ship decisions in alignment with stakeholders.
Navigate cross-functional complexity.
Identify and manage interdependencies with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and country leads — ensuring automation strategy is built in alignment with local market requirements, regulatory constraints, and broader business priorities.
Communicate and influence.
Represent the automation expansion program in weekly business reviews and executive forums, clearly articulating progress, risks, and decisions needed from senior leadership.
We're excited about you because…
You're
organized.
You thrive in creating structure out of ambiguity — defining clear ownership, milestones, and processes in a complex, multi-team environment.
You
solve problems from first principles.
You're excited to tackle challenges in new markets and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
You're
analytical.
You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel to size opportunity, track performance, and inform decisions.
You're
persuasive.
You are an effective communicator — speaking as if you're right and listening as if you're wrong. You can influence across DRIs at all levels, from country leads to senior leadership.
You
act with urgency.
Speed excites you. You move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, and hold teams accountable to timelines.
You're
relentless.
You do what it takes to drive outcomes, no matter how many teams or time zones are involved.
You have
5+ years of experience
in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a related field — and have successfully delivered results in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience in support strategy, automation, or international expansion is a plus.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.
We believe in equality of opportunity and welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion, or belief.
If you have a disability or long-term health condition and need support to apply for one of our roles, or require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know once you’ve submitted your application. We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.
If you’re excited about making a real impact in a fast-moving marketplace and growing your career alongside ambitious, supportive teams, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Opportunity
The Trading Systems team builds the mission-critical order, execution, position, and risk infrastructure that powers OKX’s global trading platform. We operate at the intersection of high performance, correctness, resilience, and scale—where every design decision matters.
We are seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our trading counter and core trading systems. This role is for an engineer who combines deep systems expertise with strong ownership: someone who investigates root causes, raises the quality bar across the engineering lifecycle, and turns individual learning into reusable team capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
Design reliable distributed systems, including consistency, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies across system boundaries.
Own work end to end—from technical proposals and design reviews through framework refactoring, implementation, deployment, production debugging, replay, and validation.
Solve low-level systems challenges involving networking, protocols, concurrency, memory management, performance, and operating-system-level behaviour.
Drive architectural improvements by identifying systemic issues and anti-patterns, such as overly coupled or “God Class” designs, and redesigning components with clear responsibilities.
Build proactive quality safeguards, including automated testing, failure-injection scenarios, stability validation, monitoring, and replay-based verification.
Design controlled experiments to validate architectural assumptions and diagnose complex production issues beyond surface-level symptoms.
Work effectively across heterogeneous technology stacks, making sound engineering decisions at language, service, and platform boundaries.
Independently explore and apply AI-assisted engineering practices across code understanding, solution design, cross-review, incident analysis, test validation, and knowledge capture.
Raise engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements to development practices.
Mentor engineers and share practical knowledge through documentation, playbooks, technical sessions, and reusable frameworks.
What We Look For In You
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with substantial experience building production C++ systems.
Strong experience designing and evolving complex systems, with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
Proven knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux-based environments.
Hands-on experience with distributed consistency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, or other system-level reliability designs.
Strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals, including networking protocols, operating systems, memory, storage, and runtime behaviour.
A track record of taking ownership proactively, from defining the problem to delivering and validating a robust solution.
Exceptional debugging and analytical ability, with a habit of investigating why issues occur—not simply applying short-term fixes.
Experience using automated tests, simulation, replay, or comparative experiments to validate system behaviour and reliability.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset; able to turn experience into documentation, standards, and practices that help the whole team.
Nice to Haves
Experience with exchange, brokerage, trading counter, order management, execution, market data, or other low-latency financial systems.
Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or high-throughput distributed platforms.
Familiarity with Rust, Java, Go, Python, or other languages used in multi-language production environments.
Practical experience applying AI tools to improve software engineering workflows and code quality.
Experience working with globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

The role / impact
As the SEM Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Xero’s global Paid Search program. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on using automation, AI and data to unlock scalable growth and improve how our SEM operation works.
You will help evolve the technical foundations of the channel, from AI-powered optimisation workflows and automation through to feeds, scripting and new ways of using emerging technology across search. You’ll work closely with SEM specialists, Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product teams to turn complex performance challenges into scalable solutions.
Your impact will go beyond campaign optimisation. You’ll help define how Xero applies AI and automation to Paid Search, build systems that improve decision quality and speed, and act as a senior technical voice across the organisation, translating complex ideas into clear opportunities for senior stakeholders.

You will join Xero’s global SEM team, a specialist group spanning technical SEM, bidding and optimisation, creative and AI. The team manages Paid Search across Xero’s global markets and is focused on using data, experimentation and technology to continually improve performance and unlock new growth opportunities.
You’ll work closely with the Head of SEM and our existing SEM team, while partnering across Data Science, Marketing Technology, Product, CRO and the wider Performance Marketing organisation. As a senior leader within the team, you’ll bring new ideas, share your expertise and help elevate the technical capability of those around you.
Initially, you will focus on:
- Evolving the technical foundations of our global SEM program, identifying opportunities to improve scalability, automation and performance
- Building and operationalising AI-powered workflows that automate optimisation, analysis, reporting and operational processes
- Advancing our AI-driven SEM capabilities, including automated bidding and decision-making systems, with robust validation, guardrails and measurement
- Identifying and delivering new automation opportunities, turning manual or complex SEM processes into scalable, reusable solutions
- Partnering with Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product to connect data, AI and emerging technology into our SEM ecosystem
- Exploring emerging search and AI capabilities, testing where new technologies can create genuine commercial advantage
Where and how you can work
Xero offers a hybrid working model that balances flexibility with the value of working together in person. You’ll spend time in our office collaborating with the team, while also having the flexibility to work from home when it makes sense.
As part of a global SEM and Performance Marketing team, you’ll also collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners across different markets and time zones.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
- Deep, hands-on SEM expertise, with experience managing large-scale, multi-market Paid Search programs and a strong understanding of Google Ads, SA360 and modern bidding and automation
- Proven technical builder capability, with experience designing and deploying automation, workflows or other technical solutions that solve real performance marketing problems
- Hands-on experience with AI and workflow orchestration tools, such as Tray.ai http://Tray.ai, AirOps, n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI, Claude or similar technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex performance and technical challenges and turn data into clear actions
- A proactive, solutions-first mindset, someone who naturally identifies opportunities, experiments and builds rather than waiting for a brief
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations and influence senior stakeholders
- A collaborative, low-ego approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, mentor others and elevate the technical capability of the wider team

At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world. At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small business more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless. When that happens, we’re not only helping small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.
THE ROLE & TEAM
Product Data Science & Engineering is a portfolio team within Product & Technology. Partnering across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Commercial leadership, we set Xero’s data science strategy across broad product areas and operate in an AI-native way—using AI to transform how we work, not just what we ship.
The team co-own Xero's metrics stack, experimentation strategy, and enterprise data architecture and builds AI-powered customer experiences including the Jax chatbot and agentic workflows—in partnership with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. They also lead AI measurement and productionisation. We work in an AI-native way. That means AI changes how data science itself gets done here, not just what we ship.
This is a new strategic leadership role created to scale Xero's data science and AI capabilities. You will take full ownership of the data science, analytics, ML, and AI strategy and execution across Accounting & Bookkeeping, Small Business, and AI products.
This role combines strategic product vision (including Jax, agentic workflows, and AI-powered features) with platform thinking across the metrics stack, experimentation, data quality, and governance, driving enterprise-level impact across every product team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will translate company-level objectives into strategic sub-objectives across analytics, ML, AI products, and experimentation, elevating both the quality of decisions and the leverage Xero gains from its data and AI investments.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists, analytics engineers, ML engineers, and managers, scaling the function from ~12 to ~30.
- Design team structures and operating models that preserve high throughput across multiple locations and time zones.
- Operate as an AI-native leader, driving how AI changes how data science operates and ships value across Xero.
- Act as the primary data partner to Product & Technology, advising C-suite and SLT on data utilization, retention strategy, new data domains, and AI investment decisions.
- Represent data science in executive forums and partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Commercial, Legal, Privacy and Risk on strategy, prioritisation and governance.
- Own AI governance, model risk, data quality, privacy posture, and experimentation integrity across the portfolio, ensuring company-wide compliance and integrity.
- Drive behavioral, technical, and cultural standards across the vertical. Own and improve global hiring practices, build talent maps, and coach senior leaders and individual contributors to raise the bar across Xero.
- Proactively identify delivery and strategic risks, designing robust organizational processes that yield consistent, high-quality outcomes for Xero.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU
We welcome candidates from analyst, scientist, engineer, or AI/ML-focused backgrounds—a linear data science career is not required. What matters most is that you have operated, shipped, and led at scale within a fast-paced technology environment. As a self-starter and executive partner, you will shape and lead strategic agendas alongside C-suite and senior leadership, driving throughput across multi-location, global teams. You excel at bringing structure to complex cross-functional challenges, managing ambiguity, and maintaining a strong "Xero-first" mindset focused on delivering strategic value and accountable execution.
- Ability to act as a proactive self-starter and executive partner, shaping strategic agendas with C-suite and SLT, presenting to board-level leadership, and influencing key investment decisions.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, bring structure to complex cross-functional challenges, sustain throughput across multi-timezone teams, and hold stakeholders accountable to a "Xero-first" standard.
- Skilled in leading managers, coaching leaders into senior roles, developing high-performing teams, and constructively escalating strategic risks when necessary.
- Experienced in navigating teams through significant scale-ups, operating model transformations, and continuous evolution in fast-paced environments.
- Practical experience leveraging frontier-model platforms (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) to build agentic workflows, chatbots, and AI-powered products, as well as transforming team operating models using AI workflows.
- Substantial experience leading data science, ML, or analytics functions, with a proven track record of managing other people leaders across multi-team structures.
- Extensive experience building and running enterprise-scale data science functions, AI/ML productionisation, AI governance, model risk frameworks, and experimentation integrity.
- Deep technical fluency across applied ML, analytics engineering, instrumentation, eventing, and schema governance, with a strong engineering mindset focused on building scalable platforms and reusable architectures.
- Prior exposure to SaaS or small business segments, with a track record of driving scale, data quality, and privacy compliance.
- Technical bachelor's or master's degree (PhDs welcome for applied, high-impact organizational challenges), supported by public thought leadership or open-source contributions in data or AI.
WHERE AND HOW YOU CAN WORK
This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne with a flexible hybrid working setup, spending 1 to 2 days per week in the local office to connect and collaborate.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to structure and close complex, high-ACV deals.
- Provide feedback from the field to help shape product roadmap, positioning, and enterprise go-to-market strategy.
- Hit and exceed aggressive monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 7-10 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS (AI, vertical SaaS, or operational software preferred), with a track record of winning enterprise or high-ACV deals.
- A demonstrated hunter mentality, you generate and win deals rather than just manage what lands on your desk.
- Proven ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close high-ACV deals from first touch to signature.
- Strong discovery skills, you ask great questions and listen closely.
- Comfort selling to operators and executives at the enterprise level.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
Runway is hiring an Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure the platform our models are trained and served on. The role covers Kubernetes platform security, cloud identity and access, software supply chain, tenant isolation in the serving layer and the research infrastructure behind our models.
Securing a company that trains and serves frontier video models is a different problem from securing a typical SaaS product. The environment includes research compute, large training datasets, a fast-moving build pipeline, and engineers who work inside AI-assisted tooling every day. Each of those changes what an attack looks like and what the platform has to enforce to stop it.
This is a hands-on engineering role on the Security team. You'll write policy, tooling and infrastructure code, work in the platform team's repositories, and ship controls that hold up in production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and ship security controls in our Kubernetes ecosystem: admission policy, RBAC, workload identity, network policy and runtime hardening across every cluster we run
- Harden the software supply chain from dependency intake through build and deploy, including package firewalling, artifact signing and provenance, and admission controls that block what doesn't pass
- Own cloud IAM and identity architecture: least-privilege roles, short-lived credentials and workload federation
- Secure research infrastructure and training pipelines, including access to model weights and datasets, without slowing down the people using them
- Threat model new platform components before they ship and turn the findings into concrete requirements the owning team can act on
- Build guardrails for AI agents and developer tooling operating inside our infrastructure
- Write infrastructure as code and policy as code, and treat security configuration with the same review and rollout discipline as any other change
- Give the incident response team what they need when infrastructure is involved: fast answers about how a system works and what to shut off
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes in production: you've written admission policies, debugged RBAC and workload identity problems and understand how a cluster gets compromised
- Working knowledge of cloud IAM and networking on at least one major cloud platform, including how identity federation and short-lived credentials actually work
- Experience with infrastructure as code and GitOps-style deployment, and the habit of shipping security changes through the same pipeline as everything else
- Comfort writing Python, Typescript, Rust or another language to build tooling, not just scripts
- An understanding of software supply chain attacks and the controls that stop them: signing, provenance, SBOMs, admission enforcement
- Clear writing. Design docs, threat models and explanations to engineers who don't work in security are all part of the job
- Judgment about which controls to enforce, which to recommend and how to roll out a breaking change without breaking the company
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Experience securing GPU or HPC-style compute, training pipelines or research environments
- Experience with policy engines and admission controllers (Kyverno, OPA Gatekeeper, Falco or similar)
- Multi-tenant isolation design in a cloud environment: ABAC, scoped credentials, per-tenant boundaries
- Experience producing security architecture evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other audits and customer assessments
- Open source contributions or published work in cloud or Kubernetes security
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.
