From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt are building the open data infrastructure that powers AI agents you can trust.
Fivetran is looking for a Staff R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team. Your data stack was built for humans — but agents are the new primary data consumers, and they have fundamentally different requirements. Agents can’t intuit context; it must be explicitly codified, governed, and traceable. We’re building the governed context layer that solves this problem: Agents Schema, an open standard for storing agent-ready context directly in the customer’s own data warehouse, and Context Builder, the managed service that keeps it filled and fresh.
This role goes well beyond standard engineering. You’ll research emerging techniques in the fast-moving AI landscape and bring real product and market understanding to decide which ideas are worth pursuing — and then you’ll take what you’ve learned and ship it as production software. We’re looking for a true generalist who is willing and able to wear whatever hat the moment calls for: prototyping a new retrieval technique one week, hardening a backend service the next, then doing SRE or QA work when the team needs it. At this level, you’re expected to be a trusted expert beyond your own team — defining technical direction that other teams build on, taking high-level direction and turning it into concrete plans with a high degree of independence, and using sound judgment to decide what deserves your attention. Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range and ambiguity rather than staying in one lane.
Fivetran is the epitome of data-driven development — our engineering team is focused on building a world class product that:
Builds Infrastructure Agents Can Trust
— join our mission to deliver the governed context layer that AI agents depend on: accurate semantic definitions, traceable lineage, data contracts, and auditable history baked in from the start.
Embraces Open Standards
— help build portable, interoperable data infrastructure: Agents Schema, open formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake), MCP-native interfaces, and connector skills that work with any model and any compute.
Scales Without Breaking
— work to make Fivetran AI efficient at agent scale, where unit costs deflate as volume grows and context retrieval is fast, accurate, and cost-controlled.
We emphasize using no-nonsense tools and take great pride in the simplicity and effectiveness of the systems we build. Our back-end is built on Java, Python, Postgres, and Kubernetes, and our front-end is built on React and TypeScript.
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our New York, NY office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Java, SQL, dbt, LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), vector databases, BigQuery / Snowflake / Databricks, MCP protocol, React, TypeScript, Kubernetes
What You’ll Do
Research emerging techniques in retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI, and decide what’s actually worth pursuing for Fivetran AI’s roadmap — then convince others
Prototype new ideas quickly, then take the ones that prove out and turn them into shipped, production-grade features
Define technical direction that spans multiple teams within Fivetran AI, ensuring architecture decisions made in one area don’t create problems in another
Build and maintain both back-end and front-end systems for the Fivetran AI product — from Agents Schema pipelines to the Context Catalog UI
Drive the AISQL capability forward: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions, executed natively against the warehouse
Take ownership of production reliability across the platform: on-call rotation, incident response, and SRE work to keep the system trustworthy at scale
Set the bar for testing and QA practices, and do hands-on QA work yourself when it matters most
Use coding agents to automate the repetitive parts of the job, freeing up time for the research and design work that needs a human
Take high-level direction from product and leadership and independently define and execute the concrete plan to get there
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the Fivetran AI team
Contribute to hiring by participating in and helping shape the interview process
Skills We’re Looking For
8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, with the ability to move fluidly between back-end and front-end work
Considered a trusted expert beyond your own team, able to exert influence and define technical direction across multiple teams
Comfortable reading AI/ML research and turning promising findings into working prototypes, then production systems
Strong product and market awareness — able to judge which emerging techniques are worth building versus which are hype
Track record of taking ambiguous, high-level direction and independently defining and executing the concrete work to deliver it
Experience with SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)
Genuine willingness to work across the full stack: research, backend, frontend, SRE, and QA, as the team’s needs demand
Writes well-structured, performant code and can dive into unfamiliar codebases to suggest improvements
Experience using coding agents or similar AI tooling to speed up day-to-day engineering work
Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions beyond your immediate team
Thrives in a startup-like environment with shifting priorities and a high degree of ownership
Bonus Skills
Experience with LLM-powered applications — RAG pipelines, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, or agent frameworks
Familiarity with semantic layers — dbt, LookML, Sigma, or similar
Experience with the MCP (Model Context Protocol) ecosystem or building AI agent integrations
Background in site reliability engineering — monitoring, alerting, incident response
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or building data connectors
Experienced working in a cloud environment utilizing AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or Docker
Contributions to open source AI or data projects

This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA office.

Coherent Solutions
builds custom software for enterprises and high-growth companies. Founded in 1995, we have 1,700+ people across 10 countries, serving clients in fitness & wellness, healthcare, fintech, manufacturing, and technology.
Our model combines local client leadership with global engineering teams across Europe and Latin America. We are investing heavily in AI and modern software delivery via initiatives like
Coherent Catalyst
, and we expect our client-facing teams to lead those conversations with customers.
About the Role
This is a pure hunter role.
You carry a quota, and your primary responsibility is winning new enterprise clients through your own prospecting, BDR introductions, inbound leads, partner referrals, and your professional network. Once a new account is closed, you will work closely with our delivery management teams to grow it into a long-term, strategic relationship.
You will engage with buyers ranging from directors to C-suite executives and navigating complex, multi-disciplinary decision processes. The services market is changing rapidly; AI is reshaping how software gets built, delivered, and priced. The expectation for this role is to understand these shifts and discuss them confidently with executive buyers. You don’t need to be an AI engineer, but you must understand where the market is heading and connect those changes to how it impacts a client’s growth, efficiency, risk, and bottom line.
What You'll Do
Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, qualify, shape the solution with delivery, negotiate, and close net-new business;
Win new logos and establish the foundation to expand the strategic accounts you win;
Lead commercial strategy for SOWs, master services agreements (MSAs), pricing, and contracts;
Run RFI/RFP responses and tailored proposals in tight collaboration with engineering and delivery teams;
Build and manage a healthy pipeline with highly accurate forecasting in Salesforce;
Partner with marketing on targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns and regional events;
Represent Coherent at major industry events and face-to-face client meetings;
What
We’re
Looking For
6+ years of selling custom software engineering, digital product services, or IT consulting;
A proven track record of hunting and winning new enterprise clients with multi-year, multi-discipline services engagements;
Comfort selling to C-suite and VP buyers, with the ability to confidently articulate how modern AI-driven development models accelerate time-to-market;
Deep working knowledge of the SDLC, global distributed delivery models, and agile consulting;
Experience working with distributed global delivery teams (specifically leveraging talent pools in Europe and Latin America);
Stability matters to us. Enterprise services relationships take years to build, and we want the same commitment from our people. A history of multi-year tenures will carry significantly more weight than a long list of short-term logos;
Minnesota preferred; WI, IL, or East Coast considered;
What Do We Offer
Base salary from $130K to $165K plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses
;
Performance-based equity awards;
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance;
401(k) matching and generous PTO policy;
Travel: Approximately 20-30% for strategic client meetings, industry conferences, and internal executive planning.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🚀 WHY JOIN CARE OPS IN 2026? 🚀
You might look at Alan’s Care team today—managing high volumes seamlessly, supported by strong partners, and automating 50 of conversations—and ask: "It works, so why join now?"
Yet, the most exciting part is still ahead. We are at a turning point as we prepare to support millions of members and push to set the standards in the industry.
Here is why this is the moment to join.
- People: This is the opportunity to join a team with incredibly high talent density, operating with distributed ownership—empowered Crew Leads, strong deputies, and Guillaume Poirier https://www.linkedin.com/in/guillaume-p-34602923/ as Care Ops Lead. It is a proven engine for creating talent and fueling internal mobility.
- Processes: We absorb high volumes without glitches (including Ministry of Finance in France) and collaborate smoothly with Product and Sales. We trust and work hand-in-hand with solid external partners in France and Spain.
- Innovation: We are one of the few companies in the world claiming to automate 40% of member conversations as of the end of 2025 (a true market benchmark).
We're building an organization capable of serving 3 million members with a lean team. To get there, we need people who can build scalable systems (analytical and operational) that make this possible.
What this means for the role you're joining:
- Our operations are getting smarter, and our analytics need to keep up: We don't just need dashboards. We need to understand what drives performance, spot problems early, and help teams decide faster. You'll build this.
- Our planning is getting more complex: More countries, more automation, more partner teams. We need better models to know how many people we need, where, and when.
- Our tools need to scale: What works with manual effort today won't work at 3x the volume. You'll build AI-powered tools and workflows that make operations smoother across the board.
Recognition: We are building something unique, yet we are not yet known externally as the reference for Care operations.
⭐ THE CARE OPS ROLE ⭐
The Care Ops team supports the Care Community globally (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada) by providing tools, processes, and data to deliver on our Roadmap and Strategic Plan. Care Ops is accountable for operational excellence and efficiency in Care, enabling the Community to scale without any compromise on user experience.
We are looking for a Care Ops who loves numbers, builds tools, and wants to have a real impact on how we run operations at scale.
You'll join a team of 10 and work across the full spectrum of our operations: understanding what drives our performance, building the tools and models that help us make better decisions, and collaborating daily with Data, Engineering, Product, and Care teams.
One week you'll be deep in a staffing model, the next you'll be building an AI-powered reporting tool, the next you'll be presenting a performance deep dive to Crew Leads.
Some of our missions include:
1/ Performance analytics and operational insights
- Build and improve dashboards and reports that help teams understand what's happening and why. Not just track numbers — explain them.
- Conduct deep dives into operational performance (response times, resolution quality, contact drivers) and deliver concrete recommendations.
- Help define and maintain our key metrics across countries: what do we measure, where does the data live, how do we make it reliable.
- Work closely with our Data team and Care Crew Leads to turn data into decisions.
2/ Planning, forecasting, and resource optimization
- Help build and improve our staffing models: how many people do we need, when, and where? How does automation change the equation?
- Contribute to simplifying our planning tools and processes
- Work with our external partners on capacity planning and delivery tracking.
- Challenge how we do things today.
3/ Tooling and AI
- Build and improve operational tools using AI and no-code solutions (Dust, Claude, automation platforms). You'll probably build half your tools with AI.
- Identify where current processes don't scale and propose solutions — sometimes a simple script, sometimes a product need.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering crews to push efficiency needs into the roadmap.
⭐ JOIN THE CARE TEAM! ⭐️
You will excel as a Care Ops if you:
- Communicate clearly in English and French, written and verbal. You'll work with many teams and clarity matters.
- Think in numbers. You're comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and ideally SQL. You build models, not just read dashboards.
- Have a performance mindset. You want to understand why a metric moves. You look for root causes and push for action.
- Are curious about AI and tooling. You use AI tools in your daily work and see them as building blocks. You're excited to learn and experiment.
- Get your hands dirty. You dig into the details, fix what's broken, and don't wait for someone else to do it.
- Have 2-5 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, or a similar role — ideally in a tech or startup environment.
- Have an organized and structured mindset.
- Can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a startup or tech company environment and is excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company. If this sounds like you, then you might just be the Care Ops we're looking for.
We value diversity and encourage individuals from varied experiences and backgrounds to apply. Join our Care team and contribute to our mission of delivering an exceptional user experience.
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B1-C1 level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks
At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees. This is why Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers.
Therefore, we offer:
- Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only.
- Flexible Office. Amazing office space at our HQ, sponsored co-working hubs or a full-remote experience with home office equipment sponsorship, we want you to live where you’re the happiest.

- Transport. Country-specific commuter benefits.
- Learning & Training opportunities. A highly flexible Training policy free books and budget to attend and speak at conferences if the opportunity arises.
- Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, for permanent contracts only.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
After reading this job description, if you feel like you don’t have all the necessary prerequisites but that it matches where you are now or what you'd like to grow into in your next position, we encourage you to apply!
Not everybody will enter our recruitment process, but all, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success.

Fivetran is looking for a Senior R&D Software Engineer to join our fast-growing Fivetran AI team.
Fivetran AI operates like a startup within Fivetran, and we need engineers who thrive on that range rather than staying in one lane.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We're hiring a Head of Professional Services to build and lead Vercel's global professional services organization, composed of our Technical Account Management (TAM) and Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) functions. These functions embed directly with our most strategic customers to design, build, and ship production applications on Vercel using Vercel's core platform, Next.js and our agent stack, taking projects from first prototype through production rollout. You will define how this function operates: the engagement model, the delivery methodology, the commercial structure, and the team itself.
You will report directly to our Global Head of Field Engineering, and partner closely with GTM and Product Leadership to run a business function that turns our largest customers' complex implementations into production deployments, drives adoption and expansion, and feeds what you learn in the field back into our product roadmap.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Austin or New York, with 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) required in office.
What you'll do
Define the engagement model: how engagements are scoped, staffed, sequenced, and measured, and which accounts qualify for embedded support.
Own delivery excellence for strategic customer engagements, from discovery and technical scoping through production deployment and stabilization.
Establish the commercial model for professional services, including packaging, pricing, capacity planning, and resource allocation across competing customer priorities.
Stay hands-on where it matters: architecture reviews, system design, and unblocking critical engagements alongside your team.
Codify field learnings into repeatable playbooks, reference architectures, and delivery patterns that scale beyond individual engagements
What you need
10+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, or technical consulting roles, with at least 5 years leading customer-facing engineering or delivery teams in a high-growth environment.
Experience building a team, function, or service line from zero, including hiring, methodology, and operating model.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, cloud infrastructure) with the ability to review code and whiteboard architectures credibly.
Experience building or deploying LLM-powered applications and an understanding of how model behavior shapes product decisions.
Commercial acumen: you have scoped, priced, and delivered technical engagements for enterprise customers and understand utilization, margin, and capacity tradeoffs
Bonus if you
Have built with Vercel, Next.js, AI SDK, or v0.
Have led forward deployed or embedded engineering teams at an AI-native or developer platform company.
Have owned a professional services P&L or defined services pricing and packaging from scratch.
Are comfortable representing the function externally at conferences, customer executive briefings, or large-scale events.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $300,000 - $370,000 plus annual bonus. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. About the role
We are looking for a Head of Solutions Architecture to join our global Field Engineering team. You will build and lead the technical sales organization behind our relationships with the new and leading startups shaping how web and AI products get built. These teams ship using Vercel's core platform, Next.js, and our AI stack, and the technical decisions made in their first architecture review often determine how far they scale with us.
You will own a global team of Solutions Architects within our Startups sales organization. You will set the bar for technical excellence across the deal cycle, coach your team through strategic accounts and critical deals, and step in yourself when it matters most: architecture reviews, migration plans, and high-stakes presentations. Beyond running the team, you will shape how Vercel wins in this segment. You will turn patterns from the field into repeatable plays and carry what startups tell you back to our engineering org so it shows up in the product.
You will report directly to our Global Head of Field Engineering and partner closely with Sales and Field Engineering leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts. You will also own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting as you build the team this segment needs.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Austin, or New York, with 3 days per week in office.
What you'll do
Lead, develop, and manage Vercel's global Startups SA team, ensuring technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle.
Provide hands-on support for key accounts as needed (presentations, architecture reviews, migration plans).
Oversee and coach SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals, developing repeatable plays from trends you are seeing across your team.
Track and report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership quarterly.
Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting.
What you need
10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or similar technical pre-sales roles, with at least 5 years in a formal leadership position.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
Proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success working with startups as customers across diverse industries.
Strong understanding of modern software development workflows (CI/CD, DevOps, frontend frameworks).
Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive customer success.
Bonus if you
Have experience working with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
Have led SA teams at a high-growth developer tool or cloud infrastructure company.
Bring expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization.
Are comfortable presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events.
