- Partner closely with CRM, E-commerce, Product, Digital, Data Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Translate complex technical findings into business-friendly recommendations.
- Facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders to align on priorities and solutions.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven storytelling and clear communication.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) — customer data models, identity resolution, segmentation, and audience creation.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and investigating data quality issues at scale.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a team migrating a production SaaS data platform off a legacy ETL/streaming-based pipeline and onto a Snowflake Native Application built for self-serve distribution and per-tenant data isolation.
This isn't a greenfield build — it's a migration with real legacy constraints. You'll be working from an existing production system that has already been audited in detail, and turning those findings into a working Snowflake-native data platform. You should be comfortable reading someone else's architecture, spotting where it breaks down at scale or under multi-tenant isolation requirements, and redesigning around it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Re-architect ingestion — design and build the replacement for the current endpoint-to-cloud-function-to-streaming-queue-to-ETL-to-warehouse path, moving ingestion natively into each customer's own Snowflake account so the platform's data-sovereignty story is true end to end.
- Migrate legacy ETL logic — translate existing transformation logic covering activity, meeting/event, network context, and system metadata data into Snowflake-native pipelines using the right combination of native transformation tooling and orchestration.
- Design for per-tenant isolation — build data models and pipeline logic that hold up under a cross-account, multi-tenant distribution model, with tenant boundaries addressed explicitly at the schema, pipeline, and secret-management level.
- Work through known technical debt — shared credentials baked into client-side builds, build-time-only configuration with no live tenant provisioning, inconsistent cross-platform data-capture parity — deciding case by case what gets carried forward, redesigned, or retired.
- Rebuild the platform's core data model — activity, event, network, and metadata — preserving the analytics the business depends on while moving underlying storage and processing into Snowflake.
- Validate against real production data patterns — batch sizes, sync frequencies, offline-queue backlogs — captured during discovery to ensure the new pipeline design holds up under realistic load.
- Document migration decisions clearly enough to be defended internally, to downstream customers, and through a formal marketplace review process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years as a data engineer with hands-on Snowflake experience — native transformation and orchestration features, not just SQL.
- Real experience migrating an existing production ETL pipeline to a cloud-native target — not a from-scratch build.
- Working knowledge of streaming and event pipelines.
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about a system's security model — encryption at rest and in transit, key management, multi-tenant secret handling — well enough to flag when a proposed design reintroduces a previously identified gap.
- Familiarity with a major cloud provider's function/PaaS services, as parts of the migration will need to interoperate with the current production system during transition.
- Experience designing for multi-tenant SaaS data isolation — schema-per-tenant, row-level security, or equivalent patterns.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building and distributing applications through a cloud data platform's own marketplace or listing model.
- Background in workforce analytics, activity monitoring, or similar behavioral/event data domains — application/window/URL activity, meeting data, network context.
- Exposure to BI tooling migration alongside an underlying data platform move.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Conferences and events
Represent P1 at software, M&A and industry conferences across the US (roughly 1–3 events per month)
Plan each event in advance: target list of attendees, pre-booked meetings, follow-up plan
Relationship management
Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, M&A advisors, brokers and business owners in P1's target verticals
Keep intermediaries current on P1's investment criteria so we see the right deals early
Stay in regular contact with founders and corporate development teams of companies on our watch list, including those not yet for sale
Nurture relationships over months and years, not just when a process is live
Deal origination
Generate a steady flow of qualified acquisition opportunities: proprietary deals, carve-outs and banker-led processes
Run first-screen conversations with sellers and advisors and gather the information the deal team needs to decide quickly
Hand off qualified opportunities to the investment team and stay involved in early seller interactions
Pipeline and reporting
Own the CRM: every contact, conversation and opportunity logged and current
Report weekly on pipeline, conversion and relationship activity
Help refine P1's outreach messaging, target lists and intermediary coverage based on what you learn in the market
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience
2–5 years of professional experience in sales, business development, investment banking, private equity, corporate development or a related finance role
A track record of building relationships that produced revenue or deal flow, and of hitting activity or pipeline targets
Comfortable with the basics of finance: you can read a P&L, understand recurring revenue metrics and talk credibly about valuation with a banker or a founder
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related field, or equivalent experience
Skills
Confident and credible in a room of bankers, founders and executives
Clear, concise written communication; disciplined follow-up
Organized: able to run a multi-event travel calendar and a CRM pipeline without being chased
Able to qualify an opportunity quickly and explain to the deal team why it does or does not fit
Attributes
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and remotely, with a small team spread across time zones
Genuinely enjoys networking and long-cycle relationship building
Resilient: most conversations will not become deals, and that is fine
Willing and able to travel frequently within the US
Nice to Have
Existing network of software bankers, advisors or brokers
Prior exposure to M&A: sell-side or buy-side processes
Experience selling to or working in enterprise software or SaaS
Experience with corporate carve-outs or divestiture processes
Benefits
Compensation
Salary between the range of $65,000 - $85,000 plus a performance bonus tied to qualified deal flow and closed transactions.
